The in-game friends list should mimic whatever setting you have on Steam. If you launch the game in offline mode, it will show you as offline in-game as well. You may need to restart the game for that to take effect.

Although if they were using the in-game list to join you, you would have received a request to join anyway. If they're joining without asking, they're either joining you through the button on your Steam profile, or by right clicking you in their friends list and clicking join game. In either case, setting yourself to offline or invisible will prevent them from doing so as well.

thanks for the quick reply! i just assumed showing as offline would stop me from being able to play online

Still would be nice to have more asians in the game. :D

there's already jake, feng and yui. how many asians do you need in the game?

  • Interesting tournament, when is it being hosted?

I'd try to disassociate the power with vomit if I was in your shoes. Convince myself it's actually toxic sludge, or acid, or something and keep telling myself that's what it actually is, until either I stop thinking of the power as vomit, or until I've seen it in game enough that I'm desensitized to it.

That's actually a real good idea and I could try that but just the fact that it looks so similiar to vomit still makes me feel very like uncomfortable and how the killer spews it out of her mouth. I'm sure it won't be as bad as an issue as I'm making it seem right now but I just want to make the precautions lmao.

But some killers were tunneling so much it really sucked the fun out of the game for a lot of people.

Just slug if you bump into them. Slows survivors down but they dont take a hook. Its good for both sides. I used to slug when people got unhooked in front of me anyway. It stopped me from being hurt with genrush but it also gave that survivor a second chance.

And why should the survivor get a second chance, if the survivor farms them. it's no ones fault except for the one who farmed, so just punish them for doing so by just minusing their points

I assume you are talking about the unhooking invulnerability.

I have no idea either why thsi was added, but rushing hooks is even more braindead due to that

I never go too far from my hook anyways, I always just patrol nearby gens unless I know somebodies on the ones further away. I mean you can't expect much balance from a group of developers who are genuinely rank 20s in their own game (if you watch the dev live streams, you can see sometimes they play and they're literally rank 20 soo, lol) but you would think they wouldn't just take advice off angry players who don't know how to counter certain things in the game.

Removing tunnelling would be the equilavent of saying "Can we please make it so you can't run through the same pallet more than once because I keep getting looped in games" lol.

I just bring Lightborn when I see a flashlight in the lobby. They're annoying but honestly not hard to play around. Besides, I'm not gonna begrudge a survivor for usibg a tool they're given.

Lol imagine using lightborn when you can literally just look up.

  • Exactly, people don't use flashlights just to piss you off, we use them because it gives us the control in a chase and the power, the game is literally about survival and killers complain when survivors try to do that.

  • Nurse is probably the easiest killer to get adept on because she doesn't need perks to win, just good addons lol, surprised it took you this long.

  • You say that like it's not a fact, just look at the statistics.

Honestly these days Noob3 just sounds like a burned out survivor main, and he's been absolutely devastated since the Legion release. It's all he ever talks about, and I have yet to see Legion often enough or even dealt with one as a threat enough to say it warrants the amount of bitching and moaning he devotes to it. The hitboxes are a little generous, but I'd rather there be a bit more leeway to them than getting looped to Hell and back (conveniently, the exact way he likes to play) because I have to be within .005 of a tolerance to hit a survivor.

He even says in the video that he's burned out and doesn't enjoy the game anymore. It's because he's been playing literally since the start and has watched the game slowly deteriorate over time, and it's not as good as it was back in 2016 or 2017 when things were more simple, now there's so many bugs and issues. He probably only plays the game nowadays for money literally, if he played any other game people wouldn't watch him, they're all just from dead by daylight.

  • You wouldn't believe it but, killers also DC against people who loop or use flashlights! Wild.

  • Cheating in this game is very limited as there aren't too many cheat providers that are actually safe to use. There was a pretty large one that had a ban wave around last year so not many people use it anymore. Also, with the games 3 account rule, not too many people risk it as you could just completely lose the game. A lot of people change the save file and cheat in bloodpoints more than actual like ESP and such. There's a pretty large community on MPGH that cheats and such.

  • Definitely not overrated, if you know how to play her correctly, she can absouletely destroy, so it makes sense that she was be used a lot.

  • If you mean like going prone, it's not a terrible idea, it seems like it'd be a little bit OP though to be honest. The cooldown would have to either be really long or it gives you some kind of disadvantage or something because losing a killer like that would be way too easy.

  • I personally play a lot of Pig, Clown and Legion and I enjoy them all a lot. I have my own anti-looping build and such so that pallet looping and such isn't as much as an issue. Sure, it can get frustrating but I just find it more rewarding honestly. Also, I do enjoy playing nurse quite a lot, very easy to play and easy to destroy but I haven't really got her levelled up so I usually just get handled.

  • Definitely add dedicated servers or different gamemodes, for example ranked, quickplay, something arcade-y where you can mess around and have weird stuff such as 2 killers 6 survivors or something lol

  • don't think they're "afraid" to play against high rank players, some just find it more fun to absouletely destroy someone, gives them satisfaction.

  • really doesnt matter lol pips only matter if you overly care about rank and caring about winning is just generally egotistical in a way

its all about having fun uwu and not getting tunnelled and breaking ur monitor

  • Ranking system is #########, I get queued with rank 18's and rank 15's on the daily and I'm a rank 4.

  • If you could buy that with like 9 golden coins, which is the most you get I think, I would tryhard all day and night to get that, I love the sparkles so much.

  • The game will have lower FPS in actual online games compared to the tutorial as the tutorial doesn't have as much going on, it's just a few little stages, while online is a whole map with stuff going off every ten seconds, etc etc. Also dedicated servers won't change the actual FPS lag but will fix connection issues which is great!

  • Maybe you should send a ticket to the devs asking if there's any way they could transfer data to PC, and if they can, you could just play on your laptop! Of course, it probably wouldn't be as great as when you're on your boyfriends PC as he has a good PC that was made to run games, but if you ran it on low - medium settings it'd probably be fine and personally I'd say that it's easier to play on PC as the controls aren't as 'complex' I guess.

  • The only issue with this is you can take the lamp from three different directions so unless you trapped all directions of it, they would still be able to get the lamp and possibly not step in the trap, and you won't have enough traps to put three on each one.

  • I play quite a lot of Clown, and I don't find him underpowered at all, actually, if I want to play a quick and easy game, I would pick Clown because if you just learn to nail the bottles, he could be good with certain addons. Of course, he's not the best killer, but he's definitely not the worst and doesn't need a buff, and if he does, only a slight buff or just an adjustment if anything.

  • Feng is the cutest and most innocent character and I want to see her in more games, I feel like I'm the only person who plays Feng, too many Claudettes. Although, Kate's snow gear does look nice, if you look at Feng's little streetwear outfits, she looks real cute.

  • I think this is a good idea because whenever me and my friends are playing and see that little hidden card, we all just sigh in annoyance and it really just makes us all play more immersed and not want to save people or just play normally because we don't want to just be moried on second hook and die that early. I think if it was truly hidden or it could be disguised as a random offering, it would be a much bigger surprise and people wouldn't avidly try to stay hidden and avoid doing normal tasks.

  • Have to agree, they didn't even bother to add a bloodhunt or anything, just a few cosmetics, probably just another grab for more free money as some people are too lazy to play and just buy the cosmetics straight up, which are definitely not worth the money at all, maybe the feng and huntress outfits, but it really was disappointing compared to the christmas and halloween ones we just had.

  • Dwight and Feng 100%, really love Feng's outfits and her whole lore but Dwight is just a soft little innocent man that I stay loyal to.

  • This would be extremely stupid lmao, don't tell me your serious.
