I think alot of you are being judgmental. They might just have nothing to say right now. There is no reason to accuse them so hard of only thinking of the money. Can you read there minds?

The casefiles videos are still amusing, if nothing else. I look forward to them.
He did annoy me with the Legion one... but yea, they are at least funny.

I will say, I do miss swinging for fun during Feral Frenzy. That miss ending your power thing is so unfun and painful when Auto aim messes you up.

Aww... this is the kinda posts we need on this Forum! This was uplifting to read.
Have fun in the Fog, and if you are on PC and see a p3 Frank with the Smeared Smile Mask Feral Frenzying at you, just know my stabs are full of kindness! XD

P.S. to all the killers who want stealth buffed and looping nerfed, you better think twice about it. It this the type of matches you want?
I mean, I just want the safe as hades pallets/loops looked at and map design as a whole reworked to help everyone.

As a survivor he is not easy to deal with, it will surprise you.
As the ghost face i have the myers feels when using it
As a Legion main the game abandoned us soon we will join the survivors 😅🤣🤣
Imagine Legion being one of the survivors how sad is that he quitted from being a killer.
I will never allow that to happen!

Clown is notoriously bad at defending generators.
Trapper struggles at defending generators outside of a 3-gen strategy.
Legion can barely kill anyone to begin with but he can slow the game down, at least.
Can i just add "Unless you are really good with him" to your Legion comment?
thank you.

Mainly Trapper, Clown and Legion at the moment
This is where you get told that you need to play Killers that can apply more map pressure, or just to "Apply Pressure"... well that's what happens when I say things like this.

I had a game as spirit where one died and the other 3 were death on hook, and every chase I started was a down in less than 15s.
1 gen left on the mother dwelling's map, one on the main building, another nearby and the other on a corner. I knew I had won because they were all dead on hook.
So, one gen left, someone hooked in the basement from the main building; an ace came to the rescue and when I saw both of them coming from the stairs I went from the rescuer, hit him; and both ran to the hatch where the third person was waiting with a key. They made sure to tbag as a goodbye on their way out. Needless to say, the post game chat was as salty as the sea from their end.
For me, that game was won; I know that if it wasn't for just one item I would've got the 3 kills I deserved.
Still, that match enlightened me on how broken keys really are. And as I said on a previous comment, I know killers have OP stuff too (for me is just insta hatchets).
Dude i hate games like that. It hurts in your soul after a while.

You realize that at the end of the match the killer has no reason to leave the hook? Are you expecting a free unhook/gifted escape?
Yeah, I didn't get the reasoning either.

I see you don't know who Space coconuts is.
Also, let me explain Hitboxes.
To take post from someone else:
"every killers M1 attack has the exact same range.
this also does not work with hitboxes, at least not from the killers side.
instead of the weapon having an hitbox, the game will mark a certain area in front of the killer. if a survivor's hitbox happens to be in said area, the game will automatically move the killer and his weapon into a position that will look like a solid and fair hit, and the survivor gets hit.
however, this only works on killers with a long weapon, like the original 3. if a killer happens to have a shorter weapon, like Nurse or Freddy, the weapon itself will not hit the survivor, though the survivor is in the marked area and still gets hit. now add bad latency to that mix and some hits look very ridiculous - for the survivor.
this is why it looks odd on certain killers, even though they have the exact same range as any other killer aswell. it just doesnt look like they do.
however, some killers actually do have a hitbox. those would be killers with a ranged attack like Huntress, Clown or Plague. their M1 works just as any other killers M1 attack aswell, but their projectiles have a hitbox that determinds weather you hit the survivor or not. however, since Clown and Plague arent really precise with their ranged attacks, you wont see any real problems with those.
Huntress on the other hand requires accuracy, and therefore her hitbox hits can sometimes look weird.
important to note here is, that the hatchet hitbox has the shape of a ball which, if it hits a survivors hitbox, will make the projectile hit. thanks to that hitbox, it sometimes looks like you clearly missed, though the hitboxes still collided.
however, this can not be changed that easily, due to the survivors hitbox being like a pill in their middle. this hitbox never changes, though the animations for the survivor do. as an example, if the survivor is running while injured, they bend forward quite a bit. having the ball hitbox of the hatchets allows you to still hit their hitbox, which remains unchanged in their middle going straight upwards (so its not matching the model) when you hit their body.
the devs once "fixed" the huntress hatchet hitbox, which made it exactly the size of the hatchet, which didnt allow for hits that clearly hit the survivor. you would just throw through a running survivors head without downing them constantly, which is why they immediately reverted that change.
if you want the Huntress hatchet hitboxes to be "fixed" so they are exactly the size of the hatchet, you will also have to adjust survivor hitboxes from their current pill form to a form that 1:1 equals the survivor's body. this however would greatly reduce the survivors ability to loop around objects, as they would have to run larger circles (due to their new arm hitbox) and would also tend to get stuck a lot more often.
you see, hitboxes are a difficult thing." from @Mister_xD

https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/LungeNow than I got that out of the way.
I don't want a 4k game every time. It's silly of you to lump all Killers into that pot, like it is Killers to lump all survivors together. I want a good back and forth match, and with the balance the way it is that is near impossible. (or feels that way)
I am sorry that you have had so many games like that, but if the Killer camps, the others should do gens. Punish them for it. If they tunnel, then the ones not being chased should do gens as they don't have pressure on them
Your PING is why you are being hit over things, even with the servers. Please please look at the video and the explanation about hit boxes.
Ping can effect you, even on Ethernet. I took networking classes, and ping is just a fact of being on the internet. Perhaps you should contact your ISP.
Over all, I hope the games get better for you in the end. Have fun in the Fog.

I main Legion and am proud of it despite there over nerfing. Ghost Face and Freddy are two of my other favs for different reasons, but Legion is the one I keep coming back too.
I got a big rework Legion thread in feedback, hoping the Devs see the ideas there. Used to main Trapper back in 2016-17, got rather good with him but left cause of the crap in that time. Legion pulled me back in with how fun FF looked and is.

This was me the other night playing Huntress. I did everything perfectly hooked them all once and some twice. Never missed a hatchet, but once my Ruin was broken fairly early on after that? It was over by the sheer fact of the map I was placed on and her movement speed. It became ''Quick use the Ironworks Loop at every chance! Let's Balanced Landing everywhere as well!"
It felt absolutely horrible to play to the best of your ability and still get teabagged at the exit gate that you opened for them because at that point it was now 4 adrenalines and no chance.
It wasn't even about the fact I didn't get the kills, but the fact that you can play this game perfectly and still not really say you were rewarded in any sort of way other than toxicity at the exit gate.
Wow you sure showed me you guys. You sure showed me. 🙄
The balance is all over the fricken place. Like you'd think it would be easy. Pie Chart: Killer takes up half, Survivors take up the other half with 1/4 each on that side.
Now, before any Survivors tell me what the Devs said, I know. 2 escapes and 2 kills. How do you make the balance work then? I can tell you what it SHOULDN'T be: everyone with 1/5th of the pie chart. Hell sometimes it feels even weirder than that.
I honestly don't understand HOW they have the game balanced at all. Moris are crazy, Keys are crazy, BL is crazy, DS CAN be crazy with the 60 seconds, Killers tunneling is BM, Camping is BM but you can punish it easier.
Like, If I don't use a Killer that I know like the back of my hand, I might as well just let them do gens sometimes. Clown? Nope, Bully him cause he laughs when he hits you. Legion? (Well surprise I'm good at him so that tends to sneak up on them.) Doc? Just ignore him, gens are real. So on and so on.
I'm not saying that i'm upset that i'm not doing well. Let me make that clear. I can do bad on Spirit cause I don't know her at all. I'm upset cause it seems as soon as they know i don't know how to use the Killer, or the Killer isnt that great it's time to start the bully simulator or let's just pop all the gens cause he can't catch that one guy over there and cuss him out in post and tell him to off himself.
I don't understand toxic people, cause I'm not that way and have never felt the need to be.

Just about every killer I go against camps or tunnels(there are a few good games, and even some days where I have a lot of good games, but it's not common and I find camping and tunneling to be in the majority), and it was Leatherface. Did you REALLY expect him not to camp?
As for the strong loops, I dunno about you, but I usually only get 1-2 lives, and the second one is usually shortlived, so yeah, I'm gonna take you to the strong loops if I can. Not to "neh neh neh" at the killer, but because I expect the killer to play like a dick. If I don't take DS, those possibly 2 lives go down even faster.
When I play killer, I don't mind as much, I get more blood points than survivors in an overwhelming majority of my games as killer anyways, especially if I have BBQ, so I don't slug for the 4k, and I'd never take a mori because those are the worst BS in the game. Overall I play fair, but as survivor I will take a lot of the meta perks, mainly because they're the only things in the game to counter bad manner gameplay against killers.
You play on PC? If you do, I hope to see you in the Fog so you can have a good game without all that crap.

Thanatophobia is only of those perks that Legion seems to mesh well with, but since Legion is such a neutered character, it's hard to see them as a threat even if they maximize its use. It's like Save the Best for Last, or Play with your Food on Legion - in theory, it would make them threatening, and it does work with their power somewhat, but the power itself is so awful you can't help but feel on the back foot no matter how many hits you spread with it.
The only perk I'd think is baseline "Required" on Legion (besides Ruin or Corrupt Intervention because lol m1 killer) is Unyielding, because it lets you mitigate the god-awful long stun time of Feral Frenzy by baiting a survivor to Pallet slam you. Instead of a 4 second stun, you suffer a 1 second pallet stun, increasing your chase potential by quite a bit.
Yeah, I don't know what the Devs were thinking when they nerf'ed Legion into the ground and never did anything else with them. Add-ons and power all work against you now it feels.

And that's on them, not you. I for the live of me will never understand either side loving to crush out 5 generators/never interacting with the killer. Getting an easy 4k that doesn't even reward you with lengthy chases.
What's the point of waiting for the lobby if you're actively trying to end it that soon?
Yeah, i've never understood it either. Isn't it boring to do that? To never interact with the Killer and just do gens like mad? I get it's a tactic, but so is camping technically. No one likes camping. I Will legit get to the point I open the gate for them if that's all they want.

I tbag to:
- Converse with other survivors.
- Converse with the killer in a non-toxic way (ex: T-bagging twice in quick succession to say "Thank you")
- T-bagging when something completely idiotic caused by the game happens. (Ex: When a killer should've hit me but hits the pallet instead even though the weapon was less than a cm from me. It's a t-bag of mutual understanding. The killer usually nods while the survivor t-bags).
- When I fail to get in a locker in time when the killer has BBQ and Chili, I'll t-bag to let him know "I see you" or "I know you see me".
- I also t-bag if the killer plays extremely toxic (ex: facecamping, hard tunnelling, ebony mori) and we get out at the gate. Then I'll t-bag at the gate.
Yeah, I nod back whenever the game does something weird.

The game would be so much more fun. Stop making everything so damn competitive all the time. No you don't need to use Prayer Beads all the time, no you don't always have to play Spirit/Hillbilly/Nurse, you don't need to Blendette, you don't need to have the instaheals or green toolbox, you don't have to burn the Haddonfield offering to piss off the killer with your balanced landing, you don't have to bring a Mori all the time, you don't have to run top tier perks all the damn time.
The community just needs to ######### chill. That's literally this game's biggest issue. No one seems to play DbD to have fun or only thinks looping the killer for filth or 4king is their only definition of fun.
Just have fun for god's sake. Maybe change your damn builds, maybe play a different killer than usual, maybe just....enjoy yourself instead of stressing over winning every match with a 4k or escaping every match.
You know... you are right.

After all, I never said you can't win with Legion at red ranks, you can do it with any killer, so that doesn't make them any better to me.
You realize most of the time I do *Cries in Legion main* as a joke right?
I also don't know what your point was, so... Oh that Legion is trash. They arn't trash, just over nerfed. Trash implies that they are worthless. That, they are not. I always have a fun game as Legion. So, Bad? Yes, they need alot of help. Trash? No.

Yeah, I don't think either of us will change our minds either, and yeah, there are positive things, but I will say a toolbox without socket swivels and BNP doesn't do much(maybe like 12 seconds off a gen total), and great skill checks do nothing with Ruin(except prevent regression), and a lot of people suggest not using Prove Thyself because it actually helps the killer more than the survivors. I'll also mention that if you DON'T have Prove Thyself, there's actually a penalty to gen speed(and this happens a lot) when working on a gen with others, so I didn't list all the negatives. Heck, I bring Prove Thyself just to get gens done at all, because most of the time, other survivors don't do gens well with Ruin. Prove Thyself helps create less skill checks, which in turn allows a chance of opening the doors. I die far more times than I survive(unless I get a killer who isn't super good but also isn't a complete dick), but I still pip on most occasions, unless something happens like I mentioned earlier, and a killer is on my ass the entire game as soon as I get unhooked.
Well, at least you didn't insist to see my footage or anything otherwise i'm a "Tunneling Killer noob." I've had people do that then they see how I play and they shut up. I hope you get better games in the future man. Have fun in the Fog!

I suggested Unbreakable alone being multi use. You'd likely only be able to get off one DS per game anyways. So how would it be OP if you didn't slug? As for people getting in lockers, again, they haven't had even one minute off the hook. If they hop in a locker when you patrol gens, then yeah, if you want them, you should eat the DS. That's not abuse of a game mechanic, that's just making sure the perk, which they used a perk slot for, does it's job, as you can actually have a perk not work the entire game by taking it.
As for "abuse of in game mechanics", BT body blocking would only work if it was at the end game, because as a killer you move much faster than survivors. You may get 2 seconds of someone body blocking you with BT, and that would only really work in the end game. If they're using DS to body block, then they're kind of idiots, because they'll just get slugged. You get MORE pressure off that because you got one on the ground while you're chasing another. That's 3 people at least off gens.
As for gens being done in 80 seconds, that is almost never the case. There's always Ruin, Thanataphobia, Pop, or Dying Light going on(and in most cases a combination of two of those perks). There's no way you'd ever get a gen done in 80 seconds unless they found Ruin at the beginning of the game. Even the best DBD players fail skill checks at some point, and in some cases several times to where they actually end up looking for Ruin.
Why does a perk need drawbacks? Unbreakable is not overpowered. It has a solid, clear counter, which is picking up the survivor.
Why are you counting for seconds for DS? That just says you're looking to rehook a survivor at exactly 60 seconds after they're off the hook, and in the case of what you said earlier, that's not even the time a single gen can be completed.
Yeah, No Mither has a down side because you can pick yourself back up infinitely, but you cannot honestly tell me the that if No Mither is balanced to be a perk with a good thing, and a bad thing, that it is balanced to where the good thing is better than the bad thing. The bad thing is probably 20 times worse than the good thing. The only reason people take No Mither is for a challenge, or to better their gameplay because they have to play even more carefully.
Yes, I have. I've actually felt the misery of not finding a single person until right when last gen popped as well. Doesn't compare even slightly to the misery of playing survivor against a killer who leaves multiple people on the ground all game. Hell it doesn't even compare to facing a killer without DS. Just had a game earlier where I had to escape with Jeff(ritual). He's level 1 so all I had was Breakdown, and guess what happened? It was against a Ghostface with stalk increase addons and he downed me, waited for me to be unhooked, chased me again, downed me, waited for me to be unhooked again, and downed and hooked me yet again. Imagine how fun that was for me? Sure, 2 others got out(because he camped the other person), but do you really think I enjoyed that game? I'd rather play killer and be bullied, because at least I have some control over what I do. As a survivor, you don't if the killer decides to be a dick.
Meh. You have your opinion and I have mine.
Also yes, gens getting done in 80 seconds is never the case cause of Great Skill checks, Toolboxes, perks and someone helping you. So you list the negatives and i'll list the positives to speed.
Unbreakable is not overpowered AS IT IS NOW. If you could do it infinitely it would be. That is the exact reason "No Mither" makes you injured, as I have told you a few times now.
Why am i counting the seconds? Cause I don't wanna get hit with DS cause they have 3 seconds left, not cause i'm following them and breathing down there neck the whole time. You want footage of how I play? I can put it on your wall.
It's obvious neither of us will change our mind. Let's agree to disagree and both drop it. I hope you have good games, and if you play PC I'll see you in the Fog. Other than that, have fun in the Fog on whatever console you have.
-
I wouldn't even care if I did something silly and a survivor did that. I'd be like "Yeah that was bad huh?" I tend to nod or wiggle at a survivor if I think something is being really weird or I want there attention cause i'mma let them go or if it's one of those games. I don't always play serious and like to be silly in some matches.
Now, I will say I have played Ghost Face where I t-bag the whole chase or crouch chase. It's funny. But if you BM me and i'm playing Ghost Face? I'mma make realllllly sure to drag that undercarriage over you.
-
This is why i never comment in a Key or Mori Thread. This is where it goes every time. "Killer Vs. Survivor." With no one wanting to be level headed on either side. Yall have fun with this topic, i'mma stay all of the out of this.

It's hard, and it's a Killer that might make you feel like that one guy in the anime taking off his weighted clothes while saying "I'm sorry Master, I must go all out this one time." When choosing someone else. Legion's power actively works against them in some cases, leading me to do better WHEN I DONT USE IT MUCH! (*cries in Legion main* please Devs help)
But... Legion, to me, is the most fun Killer i've ever played even with those issues. I proudly wear the Mask of Legion. Just, when you sign up, remember... This is no place for Cowards.
That being said, "The GhOwOst Face" is my second favorite Killer, cause of the leaning and stalking mechanics, so not a bad choice at all there.
-
I feel like getting a message that some action was taken might be odd. I'm not sure any other game does that.
-
The Big 3. Nurse, Spirit, Billy. Why? Cause you can pressure most maps.
With ALOT OF PRACTICE, you can do it with any Killer, but... yeah it's not gonna be every time or easily.

What this'll do is that they'll hunt for it ASAP, or they'll have to deal with insta-Skill Checks later on.

The Old Legion was bad. Even without the exploit. But Yes, if you are a Legion main as well, then I understand more where you are coming from. Now That I think about it, i've seen you in my thread. Cool... also I am glad that is more than just me that plays for Legion. They brought me back after 2016-2017 times.
That being said they need help. No Killer should make you feel like that one guy in an anime that takes his weighted clothes off while saying "I'm sorry Master, I must go all out this one time." WHEN YOU PICK SOMEONE ELSE.
Legion's power actively works against them at this point. I do better without using it alot.

For reference, these are the survivor hit boxes:

Hatchet hit boxes are spherical in shape. Instead of thinking of them like hatchets, think of them like bowling balls. They are (roughly) as wide as the hatchet themselves are long. You can use this to exploit the fact that she struggles to hit you over many low walls if you hug them (not impossible in some locations).
The reason hatchet hit boxes are like this by the way is because when they did change them to be actually proper shape, many hatchets were literally phasing through survivors' limbs. I mean, just look at how much the limbs stick out in the picture above. There's a reason they're the way they are. Only other alternative is to make survivor hit boxes bigger, which would mean the death of looping. Pick your poison.
Anyway, when a Huntress is readying a hatchet at you, concentrate for the first second on just gaining distance, and then begin weaving left and right but still concentrating on gaining distance forward. If you turn too much, you will just let her walk up to you and then you ain't dodging anything. The more distance you gain, the easier the hatchet is to dodge.
Stay out of line of sight as much as possible. Duck and weave between trees rocks, or any line of sight blocking obstacle around. Remember those large bowling ball hit boxes on her hatchets; she can't "thread the needle" on her shots, so even a small thin tree is sufficient cover if it's between you and her most of the time until she walks around it.
When looping her, drop pallets early when she doesn't have line of sight on you. She's a 110% movement speed killer, you don't need to be greedy with extending loops until she's right on top of you. Respect the fact she can whip a hatchet over a pallet you're in the middle of dropping and you'll survive against her longer. There's no reason to evade hatchets if you never give her much of a chance to even throw one in the first place.
Finally, you can just evade the hatchet when she's swinging. There's an animation and sound byte for when she throws. Though to be fair, with dedicated servers being the way they are, I wouldn't rely on this too much.
Remember that Huntress has a giant lullaby radius. When you hear it and it's approaching just run. A huntress trying to catch up to a survivor whilst not in a chase cannot do much. It can take her over a minute just to get closer enough to be considered in a chase, and hatchets from too far of a distance are easy to dodge as long as you keep an eye on her and react when she throws them accordingly.
Essentially, the main tips are these:
- Don't give her a chance for a clean shot whenever possible. Always try to have an object between you and her.
- Keep as much distance as you can.
- Move unpredictably.
Very good and informative post.

I know i've seen it somewhere. Might take some time to find it.

Use Monitor and Abuse with NC, otherwise, people aren't gonna heal in your TR if they aren't stupid. Thana is better than Sloppy Butcher on Legion, because they can't completely ignore it by not just healing and Adrenaline rush you.
But Legion is trash no matter what are you using on him.
Not true. I Red Rank as Legion alot. They are crippled and need buffs, but don't just call them trash. Thank you.
If you want to know my build that I use when I am being serious as Legion is
STBFL+ Corrupt+ Thrilling+ Surge
It tends to work rather well.

You can do that, yes. But you can only do like 10% of a gen at best, while with the terror radius change you can make an entire generator without mending.
This is the old deep wounds when legion came out but without the exploit. So it is as threatening as before, but cant be exploited. Simple as that.
Hmm, It's a good direction. Don't think that i'm against this. Just trying to understand it as much as I can because of it's effect on my favorite Killer.

Yep no problem as long as I'm not being point blank told I'm wrong with no real good evidence I'm pretty reasonable. I actually would prefer balancing issues taken care of so we have variety.
The few that honestly will are usually the ones who will start to realize that NoeD has been holding them back, but it also creates the same issue that Ruin does. A lot of people cant shake it because they have relied on it way to long.
Have you tried Pig by any chance? The one thing she does is teach you to end chases asap. It could help you out for those scenarios that you mentioned.
I would write a topic on second chance perks, but honestly I dont use them nor care enough to make a thread for much of anything. I wanted to do a pig idea like yours, but figured against it. I could do second chance perks, but rarely if ever do I get bothered by them.
Ah, I wish I was any good at Pig. I have had good games with her, but for some reason I can't get a handle on her. Legion on the other hand, I can tend to end chases quickly once I start finding people.
It's kinda like Demo. I've never had a good game with Demo.... or Spirit for that matter. Some playstyles I just can't brain for some reason. That's one reason I don't want Legions playstyle to change, but it's more that I find Legion very very fun.
Back to pig though, I have been watching Scorp on Twitch. Here's hoping that helps. (It also doesn't help that only Legion has all perks T3)
