Yeah that's how it usually is. Update on Tuesday and new tome on Wednesday
-
Survivors genuinely dislike anti loop killers because their fun is being able to loop the killer for ages. The moment a killer can stop that they hate it and call it boring

Did you try turning up your volume?
Can't tell of your being serious or not....
-
Demogorgon for sure. His power is very well designed and is all around fun for both sides
-
I've come across someone with the Name
Hex:Ellent smithers
-
Myers is a really good choice for a rework. His power hasn't changed at all since release and with all the new things and updates to the game his power needs to be updated to fit in better with the game currently
-
For me recently I've been finding Deathslinger and Legion easy to pip with. Deathslinger I honestly don't know why but legion because you can get so many points with him lol
-
Sadly I think Pig has the worst designed power in the game. Its completely RNG based
-
Love facing Deathslingers, Demogorgons, Nemesis
-
Flip Flop and Power Struggle is a fun combo. Other 2 perks up to you. You can purposely get downed at a pallet and as long as the killer hesitates to pick you up at first you can get out and they rarely never expect power struggle lol

I see a lot of killer-players saying Dead Hard. It's never bothered me as killer and I never use it as survivor but there's definitely a lot of animosity about it from other killer players.
If I was going to complain about an exhaustion perk as killer, it would be Balanced Landing. Something about a survivor jumping off a hill and sprinting away just irks me, lol.
It's just the fact it's basically a get out of jail free card for survivors. It pretty much punished good killer plays and rewards bad survivor plays lol.
-
I honestly would love if they let us do a 2 killers vs 8 survivors or even 2 killers vs 4 survivors lol.
-
Honestly and this might sound silly but the perk Dead Hard. It's really frustrating mindgaming a survivor only for them to press a single button and make it to a pallet or window extending the chase way longer than it needs to be.
-
@BenZ0 said:
About that, after playing dbd for 5 years I got used to screams and find them kind of enjoyable, should I be worried?
Nah. Some of the survivors do have some rather suggestive NSFW groans of pain

🤣🤣🤣

You find fengs cute? they are usually toxic lmao i done feel bad for killing them
Like I said in a previous comment, toxic fengs are not real fengs. They are spawns of the devil 😎

A cute squeaky toy :(

I always get matched against the most toxic fengs so i have NO issue's with killing them!😈
Toxic Fengs aren't real fengs. They are spawns of the devil!

Out of all chapters this one needs a map ASAP!
-
Wether you like it or not, slugging in certain scenarios is a viable tactic killers use to turn the game in their favour. Now there are killers out there who are toxic and just slug on purpose to make the game boring on purpose, but most good killers will use slugging tactically to apply pressure on survivors.
-
With a very efficient survivor team yes the generators can be done extremely fast. Which is why as killer you really need to play tactically and yes sometimes scummy in order to put pressure on the survivors and stop them doing gens as fast.
-
My main killers I play at the moment really are Deathslinger, Nemesis, Trapper and Clown.
-
Couldn't agree more. The amount of times I've successfully mindgamed a survivor only for them to have dead hard and make it to a pallet or a window is insane. It punishes good killer plays and rewards bad survivor plays. This perk and noed really need to be looked at ASAP. It's pretty much impossible to counter a good survivor who knows how to use dead hard properly
-
Ha Ha Ha. I heard about this forum post post from Tru3ta1ents recent video.
Don't worry guys just keep complaining about them like you always do and eventually they will nerf them all to the ground so you can run them for 5 gens and tbag and click at them in the end.
The community is gonna be the death of this game its only a matter of time
-
Deathslinger and Trapper I mainly seem to do okay on haddonsfield.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up too much. If it does get fixed then that’s awesome, but this is BHVR we are talking about. Just want them to prove all of us wrong.
There is still that tiny tiny glimmer of hope that one day BHVR will actually be able to put out a good update

Dude seriously!! I play this game like 4 hours a day with buddies and I have gotten that map ONCE since the dlc came out, and it was a plague who camped the mid Gen all game so we couldn’t get the achievement. I just want to play on the new map lol, turn the offerings back on already!
I've only played it once in public matches and it was when I was killer and playing trickster 🤣. My only hope is if they do re enable the offerings killers or survivors don't insta dc when they see the offerings lol
-
I'm honestly just hoping they will re enable the rcpd offering so I can finally play a few matches on it and get used to its layout and loops. Luckily I play on the xbox series x so I dont have the frame problems but I'm with you and hoping they do actually fix the optimisation for previous gen consoles
-
Wrong. Mines gonna be a "Trickster needs another buff" post

You're acting like it's going to be disabled forever?
It'll more than likely be enabled pretty soon after the patch.
More than likely will be enabled after this patch. Which I'm happy about as I'll finally get to try it and get used to it.

@Jago said:
Fan service map.
Same could be said for The game, Haddonfield, Midwich but hey I guess they are fine and RCPD isn't
-
@Seanzu said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2385600#Comment_2385600
But it's also Midwich, and Haddonfield and RCPD, all maps I can spawn with a single offering that'll likely make one side miserable for playing on.
The offering for RCPD has been disabled at the moment...
As for the other maps yeah some people will use them for easy wins. That's just dbd.
-
@Seanzu said:
Why?
RCPD is literally a map built for a different game and copy pasted into DBD with like, one extra drop down, the map doesn't work in BHVR as it's literally designed to be maze like for the game play of Resident Evil.
I think people have a right to complain about the developers copy/pasting a map that'll never work unless major changes are made to it to fit the game it is in.
It's far too big, far too complicated, and should have honestly been split and rearranged.
It's ONE map in a game with so many maps. Like i said previously you don't get it often. Dbd needs a good variety of maps otherwise it will get stale really fast
-
@Seraphor said:
The fact that "it doesn't fit with the rest of the maps" is entirely a good thing. We need more variety.
Just as with any of the indoor maps, it's going to take time to learn the layout and find your way around. I used to get so lost in Lerys and Hawkins, but now they're two of my favourite maps to play on.
It's still going to have it's issues like any map. Haddonfield has the god house loop, The Game has it's god pallets, Coldwind blinds you, etc. RPD is a big map, there's no getting around that, but that fact doesn't favour either survivor or any particular killer all that much.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2385573#Comment_2385573
Meanwhile loading into Coldwind or Shelter Woods as Doctor is hell for me. Different maps suit different killers.
Exactly!! Dbd needs some good variety of maps to make it more interesting. This is the thing these people that complain about maps like RCPD don't realise that they basically just want the same old boring map styles and loops.
-
@Clevite said:
You come to the forums to complain about people complaining?
Something they are indeed, entitled to do on the forums.
People have opinions, they want to discuss them on the forums , if you don't like it, find a different thread to read.
P.S. The map is #########.
There is nothing wrong with opinions. Opinions are like #########, everyone's get them. And yeah technically I am complaining about people complaining with makes me complain. (Try saying that really fast) but I'm just sick and tired of this community's entitlement and childish behaviour. I gotta let off some steam here and there
-
@supersonic853 said:
Loading into this map,lerys,haddonfield,hawkins, and midwich is hell for me as billy. Its more then just 1 map.
OF course they are. Not all maps are great for certain killers. That I'm not denying. It's the people constantly complaining about certain maps like RCPD
-
RCPD is a great map and changes up the gameplay for DBD
Deathslinger is insanely fun to verse
Noed is a fine perk and give killers a second chance to win at the end game just like exhaustion perks give survivors second chances in chases
Gen speed is to fast
-
Exactly! Deathslinger doesn't have any recoil when he shoots so why did they think it was a good idea to make trickster have it
-
I get what you mean but sadly Trickster is just overall a very weak and underwhelming killer. He has way to many negatives In his kit and he is to slow. He needs a major buff asap or he will be the worst killer they ever released
-
It's sad really as trickster is a cool looking killer. I really do hope the devs work on him and give him the buffs he needs. I'm all for another projectile killer. And the concept of the throwing knives and laceration meter is great just the execution is awful and very weak
-
Not every SWF is unbeatable. There are some really chill and casual swf players who play for fun. But it's the really good SWF who bring all meta perks and are extremely good at looping and gen management that are the problem. You simply cannot do much against them as killer and you are not very likely to have those kind of teammates in a solo queue
-
In my experience its mainly survivors who are the toxic ones but this doesn't mean that only survivors are toxic. There are plenty of People on each side that are horrible and it doesn't help that some streamers glorify that kind of behaviour
-
I hate versing dead hard users so much.
-
I still love the clown. I've always had a soft spot for him despite his weakness. Plus his belly jiggle physics is just amazing 😎
-
I didn't see this thank you for the heads up!

I mean, you gotta look at the benefits of it though, you have one less person on a gen, you can hit and run, etc.
Fair point

Good point, but isn't it better to just ignore and not play attention
It is better to ignore it yeah but sometimes its hard when the survivor is literally following you and tbaging you and every pallet
