Killers don't get the short end of the stick. That's just Killer Victimhood Complex talking.

Objectively speaking Killers have gotten far more buffs and Survivors have gotten far more nerfs.

Im sure you have seen old school DBD and WHY there haas been alot of nerfs right? Cause if you haven't you need too, it was so bad.

I can't make any promises just yet- it's still pretty early on. I can say that we have been watching and reading through all of your suggestions, though, and a lot of them are pretty good. They've been passed on to the team, we'll see what we can do.

(But again, no promises. Please don't take this as a guarantee.)

Thank you. I have a big thread in feedback with Legion ideas from alot of Legion mains. This gives me some hope that they are being seen and that yall have plans. I will never rush yall, cause I want you to take your time and figure it out. But I do have one request... please keep the "Rush Down" or "Blitz attack" playstyle. Feral Frenzy... It's really clunky feeling right now cause of MS and vault speeds but the feeling of taking off and chasing down a survivors to slash them in FF is one of my favorite things in all of DBD. Legion is WHY i play DBD, in a very real sense as I had quit after 2017 and came back for Legion. Please do them justice.

There are issues on xbox making the game nearly unplayable such as the no network & NAT type errors that have been ongoing for months and not only have they not been fixed they haven't even been acknowledged by BHVR. (I'm sure PS4, Switch, and PC have their issues too)

A lot of player's have real issues and concerns with the archive challenges and the Rift which have been ignored. And the "stream" we got was literally just an infomercial.

    Match making is busted.

    Healing is bugged.

They've stopped talking to the community and stopped their weekly streams.

Now they delay stuff? Lol. Just how broken is this thing that even BHVR is like "nah, we can't push this turd out in this condition" it's gotta be really busted.

Whatever. I'm dropping this. Have fun in the Fog.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Considering how broken the game was on the PTB, they can take as long as they need as far as I am concerned.

It's kind of hypocritical that people bash BHVR for the game being a buggy mess and when they (finally) delay something so it isn't a buggy broken mess (because it would have been otherwise), people are suddenly up in arms about it?

Screwed if they do, screwed if they don't.

This. Do you remember how the sound was? That was the single worst sound i've heard in a game, and there is no way i'd be able to play it if it stayed like that.

  • @ygnea said:

devs should have taken the L, and just removed legion and given refunds lol. there's no way to ever fix him he's terribly designed.

NO. Some people really enjoy Legion, like me. Would you want someone to delete your favorite thing in a game?

I won't even comment the add-ons. There are 4 add-ons that actually good that are

Iridescent button and increase the duration add-ons. No, the cooldown reduction add-ons don't work they are just bad, the words are SO misused.

Yeah the best cool down add-on only reduces stun by 0.6 seconds. max stack is 1.0 seconds. KI range increase? cool i can see those people I can't get too. Double tap for blind? Yay....

    No problem.

Did you get banned or something? Your icon is locked for some reason that i don't know.

I am "jailed" and I can not tell you why on the forums, as far as I know.

  • a sad list made by @NullSp3c Kinda sums up why i'm trying so hard to tell people that Legion needs ALOT of help

I've made a cool list about legion's power.

    These are the downsides:

    • Doesn't work to down survivors.
    • To chase.
    • To get information far away.
    • Against spreaded survivors.
    • Has a huge penalty.
    • Is slow so some loops can be loopable when using feral frenzy.
    • A stun takes you out.
    • A missed hit takes you out.
    • Hitting someone twice makes nothing and drops the power.
    • Doesn't do anything against injured or exposed survivors.
    • Doesn't help you patrol generators because you go further by just walking.
    • Has a huge punishment in the end.
    • You can't see blood pools.
    • You can't see scratch marks.
    • Makes your screen blurred so you easily miss a survivor when fatiguing.
    • Partially deafens you.
    • Has a 24 second cooldown.
    • Your vision is turned down a little making it harder to see survivors.
    • And there are white lines in the screen that partially limit your vision, to seem that you go fast (and in reality you are not going).
    • Feels bad to use due to their uselessness and sluggishness.
    • You won't use it in the end game because you can't down people, it will be just used in very specific situations.
    • Isn't flexible, needs a full power bar to be activated.
    • When you miss a hit you lose all the pressure that you had.
    • Hitting someone while out of feral frenzy takes 50% of the bar.
    • Killer instinct doesn't let you know the distance.
    • No orange auras on killer instinct for no reason.
    • Mending can be completely ignored by survivors.
    • Mending is annoying to play against

    These are the upsides:

    • Hit multiple survivors when they are VERY close to each other and you don't miss or are stunned or hit someone twice.
    • You see survivors that are around you.
    • Make them mend so they waste15 seconds of their time.
    • You can have a first hit, but it is not easy.

As you can see it is worth to use their power 100% *BEING VERY VERY SARCASTIC

But don't be afraid, you have 5% more movement speed now while walking normally, seems a good trade.

let's not forget, any 115% killer with 3 stacks of PWYF can go 5% faster than Legion in FF

  • I mean, you know what i think about it and what i'm doing about it.

But yea, no Killer should make you feel like the guy in an anime taking off the weighted clothes going "I'm sorry Master but I must go all out this one time." when you pick someone else.

Legion's power actively works against them, and you do better NOT using it. Stealing this list for my Thread.

Oh, and let's not forget ALL of Legion's add-ons suck.

  • @NullSp3c said:

I've made one now in general discussions that is literally that list. Go there and give some feedback that will be appreciated.

You can put it in yours if you want to.

thank ya. Sorry. The people all demanding they get compensation for the delay is getting on my last fricken nerve.

  • Honestly, you people demanding some kinda od double blood points or compensation for something being bugged and them WANTING TO FIX IT really gets on my nerves. Why the hell are you wanting to thrash the Devs for LITERALLY EVERYTHING?! Do you THINK they want to mess up there own game or piss off the community? Heck no! But it seems like yall will be pissy no matter what. I honestly don't see how the Devs put up with us, if they don't care like yall say they don't They'd just shut the servers down and tell us to jump off a cliff. I don't say this word often, but you all need to quit being so entitled and thinking the whole fricken world owes you cause ONE THING WENT WRONG AND THEY WANT TO FIX IT! Things happen! Grow up.

In fact, let me add this post i'm borrowing from @NMCKE

If they released Dedicated Servers and etc., you will instead hear this from everyone, "Ugh, great year BHVR, you gave us terrible servers," "Thank you for the poor Halloween Event BHVR," "Poor summer event BHVR, as expected," and so on — the forums will be on fire if BHVR released an incomplete project. It seems like BHVR gets the blame regardless of what they do, so please, chillax, stay positive 😕

BHVR is doing the best they can, and I wished y'all took a different point of view instead of pointing fingers at BHVR 24/7.

The Developers care greatly about their player base and are constantly striving to keep both "sides" happy. They also care greatly about the game that THEY created.

They give regular updates, answer as many questions as possible about things they can discuss - obviously they cannot discuss up and coming stuff because all of that is kept secret. They share their time and as much information as they possibly can. You can also find them in a lot of streams talking to the Community, answering questions and helping people as much as possible.

They are trying to please so many people at once from different sides of the game and for someone to say that they're just trying to infuriate people is frankly incredibly disappointing - I expected better from the Community than that.

That sums this up perfectly. DO you want something rushed and broken (like Legion nerfs) or would you like something THAT WORKS?!

  • This HAS to be a joke. Why is BBQ the new thing? Is this some meta thing im not getting? Like, are we making fun of the people that wanna nerf everything with these kinda posts?

Exactly, make legion a balanced killer both while in chase and in spreading hits and takes them out of that "change something and they become op or too bad".

The changes they made were rushed and the consequences weren't that thoughtful. They restricted so much the best part of a killer: their power. The power has almost no use in game and isn't even fun to use.

This is why when everyone complains about them taking there time now I am just so annoyed. Would you rather them rush and do things like they did to Legion or put out something broken? People need to chill.

But yeah, they broke his power... you do better not using it much and that's just wrong.

It bugs me that people claim that tehy don't even realize BBQ has an aura reading counter sometimes, then fight so hard to resist any nerfs to the aura reading.

If you really think the Aura Reading component of BBQ isn't important, then surely you should be okay with nerfing it.

supporting this is messing up your credibility. The Perk is fine. Leave it alone. You talk about others wanting everything, then suggest nerfing a perfectly fine perk with either BP or Aura removal. All you are doing is making yourself look bad.

I never acted “Innocent” or looking for ”sympathy” lmao.

Since got you into a lobby you must been an SWF since you were “NEW” to the game at the time. That annoys me already as I want players that aren’t “NEW” and knows what they are doing :/

I also literally call any bad survivor including own SWF squad “Idiots” “Bad” “Trash” You aren’t special excluded just because your “NEW” it’s called “trash talk”on the internet. :(

The only people I don’t talk crap to is good killers and survivors they get the high respect. It’s fair game.

The people who target me like (6-7 people) aren’t even good at the game which is why I’m not bothered lol 😂. It’s funny, but can get boring over time. I can never be “salty or mad” I got a memory of a toddler I wont even remember you 5 mins later until I see your name again cx. and I deleted messages after I’m done anyway and block them =>

and now i see why you get targeted....

    It's not strawman.

I got in trouble with the mods for pointing out someone's hypocritical posts so now I'm refraining from quoting a problematic user with a Killer role bias.

And limiting the Aura views isn't limiting BBQs usefulness. Most players use it for the stacks. If you are 8 hooks deep and have no idea where the Survivors could be...

A.) you are doing really good wrecking the Survivors as all 7 gens are still up.

B.) go to any of the remaining gens

Just because something isn't glaringly obvious as being overpowered, doesn't mean it's not overpowered.🥴🥴🥴

7 gens up? Do you play the game? Every time I see you, you are making fun of Killers and telling people that they are biased against Survivors or just generally being rude to everyone. Then even when you arn't mean, you don't make sense. I'm honestly suprised anyone listens to you at this point.

When I run a farming build as killer (which, right now, is 100% of the time), I get to have two perks that are actually useful gameplay-wise. I hate that lately I keep seeing people who want that to be taken down to one useful perk. -_-

Ikr? Why did BBQ even get brought up as OP?

  • @TragicSolitude said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/776770#Comment_776770

"If you're getting killed by it, it's honestly on you when there's so many ways to counter it. And if you're not doing that, you're just not doing your job as a survivor."

I actually think this makes a really good point. Playing survivor is more than just doing gens; this isn't a gen-repair sim. If you know certain perks are popular on killers, then playing around them is part of playing survivor.

Killers have to play around survivor perks. Expecting to encounter popular survivor perks and trying to counter them is part of playing killer. Dead Hard? You lose a few seconds baiting that out during a chase. And, if you don't bait it out, you lose even more than a few seconds. Trying to make sure to hit the unhooker instead of the unhooked in case of Borrowed Time, or waiting out the 15 seconds. Adrenaline doesn't even have a counter other than not letting gens get finished, which is obviously easier said than done.

BBQ has a whole bunch of counters that don't even take up a perk slot. It's not OP.

Thank you for being a light of common sense and logic. I swear, sometimes I don't know what people are thinking.

  • i REALLY would like a Ghost Face Tome.... and a Legion Tome!

I think most of the people who want to play Dead by Daylight have already bought it. If I had to guess, I'd say that the game's revenue has been steadily declining for some time, and the release of new chapters isn't enough to make up the difference. They seem to be hoping that the Rift and Archives will provide them with a more steady source of income. But even if it works, I doubt that means they'll put more effort into improving upon the game.

"Why waste time and effort trying to create a better game in the hopes that more people will buy, when we can just milk our current playerbase with cosmetics every few months and make loads of money with minimal effort?" Is what I imagine someone would say in the middle of a board meeting.

I'm sorry you are so jaded friend. Hate to say it but I hope I am right and not you.

Hes complaining about the whole concept of the rift itself. It could be super easy mode challenges, but he's still have a problem with it that it has a premium track. Its kinda like complaining to walmart for deciding to sell more varieties of merchandise today than they did yesterday. "THEY JUST WANT OUR MONEY!!!" no duh, lol.

Yeah, that's what I am getting from him. I really really disapprove of this kind of attitude directed at the devs from the community. Let them do what they need too.

    @Monlyth said:

I think people are getting judgmental because the general pace of development seems to have slowed. They seem to be gradually distancing themselves from their audience; Q&As/Devstreams have become shorter and much less frequent, and they never seem to answer the hard questions anymore.

I think a lot of people suspect that BHVR is slowly pulling their assets away from this game, and towards other projects, while cashing in on the Rift and Archives as an exit strategy and a last-minute cash-grab. And I think the community is absolutely right to be worried about this.

    @BunnyTheHutt said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/778059#Comment_778059

The problem for me is the complete lack of transparency. It really wouldn't be hard if they said "We saw the feedback on challenges, so the archives must be delayed until the challenge difficulty is reduced." It's the fact they want too keep everyone in the dark and simply not say what the problem is.

but you two, that kinda thought I can understand more, cause you just really wanna know what's going on.... other than the really silly thought that they would pull assets away from such a successful asset as DBD that has a ton of people hooked on playing it.

I don’t agree with the greed part as they do need to make money and I believe that chapters are very reasonably priced as well as the new battle pass (a one time pay and constant refund of your cells every season, it’s literally free if you complete it every time!). The $10 outfits are poorly priced in my opinion but lots of people buy them so it is what it is.

regarding your comment however, this isn’t the first time this has happened. They are constant running into delays and it’s becoming a pattern.

BHVR is trying too be getting as many new players as they can and ignoring all the existing fan base. For example, this summer, they have expanding to switch and mobile (which for whatever reason isn’t available to 90% of the fan base in North America), and then they have delayed dedicated servers, delayed the stranger things chapter, and didn’t even give us a summer event. As if it would’ve been so difficult to place some margarita machines and 2 unlockable cosmetics.

i can sympathize with the devs, they aren’t a massive company but they need to learn to stop over promising. All they end up doing is disappointing a lot of players when then they can’t pull through.

im mainly disappointed in the withering blight event. Halloween is the perfect time for DBD and they however post pone the event till November. My speculation is they realized the battle pass (rift) isn’t ready and since they connected the two together they messed the whole system up.

So, you barely listened to what I said... or what the thing I borrowed from the other person said (or seemed not too at least). Cool. Just be happy they are fixing it instead of putting it out broken. Have fun in the Fog.

There has been so much monetization going on in the game lately, with the game itself deteriorating with every single update.. thanks to new bugs, glitches and broken mechanics.

Meanwhile, Dedicated Servers proved to be malfunctioning mess with rubber-banding galore and other weirdness. There's still not ETA for stuff like Rank Rewards, which has been asked for since the release of the game.

then how about GIVE THEM TIME TO FIX IT INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING?

Seriously man, you are being really judgmental You get upset cause something is delayed then get bad cause things have bugs but come out sooner. Pick one.

I have a friend who sometimes plays killer on my account. He just wants to have a fun, chill time (he's crazy, I know). Sometimes he's actually able to, amazingly. He's not like a super skilled killer, though, and if he gets toxic survivors who realize that... well, I get ticked when I see survivors bully him.

... the fun thing is when I take the controller back and the survivors DC because the killer is no longer bully-able. Apparently, it's not fun if the killer's winning.

I've had matches too where I was trying to just have fun and goof off, and survivors turned what was supposed to be an automatic win for them into a death sentence.

If I'm trying to play as like Clown or something for a Daily and I'm having a terrible time of it, I'll usually just go stand by the exit gate the moment I finish the ritual; it's not worth the pain and suffering of continuing to play. I always wonder if the survivors notice or care that I stop playing midway through the match. I'm glad we don't have the end chat thing on console; survivors have to put in the extra effort if they want to say nasty things to me.

I don't get toxicity, either. I've never messaged anyone after a match. Doesn't matter if a killer tunneled me out of the game before the first gen popped and I ended with less than 1k BP, I've never sent a message to insult or even ask why. Sometimes I wonder, if a survivor messages me, who plays pretty damn fair, just how many messages are they sending out when they play? And how has their PSN account not been banned, yet?

and it is THAT kinda Survivor that gives Survivors a bad name. Every survivor that jumps all over Killers that get upset here haven't had a game like that as Killer. That kinda match is why alot of people think the Killer isn't the power role (And I agree honestly. The Killer has no real say on the pace of the match most of the time)

That being said, I can see why Survivors get upset with the bad Killers, because the Killers get upset with the bad Survivors like those people you mentioned. Some people DO want this to be "Bully the Killer" or "4ks every day." I'm not in either camp, myself, and I know you arnt either. I want a good back and forth game, not a stomp either way.

I've honestly been told to kill myself by someone that DC'ed cause I hit them with a FF. It's insane to me how people can be that way. It's honestly surprising for me when I get nice comments in post game.

    THIS! ALL OF THIS!

  • Then how about you don't play? If you are so upset with the devs for this, and want the judge them when you don't have anymore idea then anyone else has... then you are obviously one of those toxic people that ruin the game. Things happen, and just cause they do is no reason to get on here and trash talk the devs when you have no idea whats going on. Grow up.

    Imma borrow this from @NMCKE

Nobody wants to do challenges where you need the stars to align, the gods to smile upon you, the rains to be blessed in Africa, and to sing your prayers to make it work.

A good challenge is one that can be accomplished through perseverance and skill alone, not sheer dumb luck.

    And that’s the tea.

If the later challenges remain just as ridiculously impossible/encouraging bad plays, I will be disappointed.

This is what i don't get. Everyone was yelling about how hard the challenges were, now that the Devs have feedback to change them and might be taking time to fix it, EVERYONE GETS MAD AT THEM FOR THE DELAY! "Oh they just want money." or crap like that. Why are people so judgmental?

This is the design of the game mechanically and lore-wise.

Survivors are always supposed to have hope. They've actually been trimming that hope smaller and smaller and smaller with each patch. But it must always be there. The entity feeds on that hope and delights when that last hope is finally crushed. Mechanically it is good because otherwise survivors would just DC the moment something goes wrong....

    Oops.

And there you have it. The game is already so hopeless for many survivors to the point that they just DC at the drop of the hat, and you are still looking for more nerfs. On something that was already nerfed. Come on.

alot of them do that anyway though... just saying XP

I see but that is more so an issue of taking averages, I don't think that meant it needed to be scrapped completely, just modify and adjust the algorithm. But maybe scrapping it was easier. I don't see how 4/3 red ranks could ever get a brown rank killer though unless you're playing at an incredibly odd time so the servers are prioritizing location/connection to get you into a match opposed to actual ranking/skill.

Trust me, it happened alot to people. You should have seen the forums during that time.

  • yeah really, I'd rather them work on it and get everything good with a delay then them release something broken and have to fix it then.

Many perks need to be buffed, and many of them can in very simple ways. Survivor perks should be around botany power level or higher. That is to say: useful, but not game-warpingly powerful. If it is game-warpingly powerful, it needs to be a counter to certain "less admirable" strategies such as camping and tunelling. Here's a list of survivor perk buffs I would make that I compiled with a friend. (This doesn't include all bad survivor perks, as some of them we were quite conflicted on.)

    -------

    SURVIVORS PERKS:

No One Left Behind: Gain 50/75/100% bonus bloodpoints for actions I'm the Altruism category. Gain a token for each completed heal, safe unhook, or protection hit (up to 4 tokens). Each token increases the speed of altruistic actions by 4%. [While increasing altruistic action speed end-game is a cool idea, we felt that having it increase in power the longer the game goes makes it more flexible and useful. And who doesn't love bloodpoints? This also promotes survivors to not sit on gens, as they would be getting points from healing, so this is good for killers as well]

This Is Not Happening: Great Skill Checks are 10/20/30% bigger when injured, exposed, or in the killer's terror-radius. [Having to be injured is cool, but it's too niche. Including the exposed effect and in terror radius as alternative conditions also fits the feel the perk is going for (Which is working on gens while panicked, and in a dangerous situation)]

No Mither: Grunts are reduced by 50/75/100% while injured. You do not spawn pools of blood while injured. Grants the ability to fully recover from the dying state. Upon becomimg injured, you gain the broken status effect. The status effect is hidden from the killer. You gain 50/75/100% bonus points in the survival category. [I think this is honestly a no brainer. Starting in the injured state and showing the broken effect is too much of a give away, to make it viable, and if this is supposed to be a hardmode perk, it absolutely needs to have extra bloodpoint gain of some kind as a reward.]

Deja Vu: All generator auras are shown for 40/50/60 seconds at the start of the trial and after a gen is completed. Generators that are being worked on while Deja Vu is active become highlighted in white. [This makes it like a reverse Better Together, and promotes objective completion, while not directly increasing the speed of repairs.]

Up the Ante: For every injured, downed, hooked, or dead survivor, gain 2/3/4% increased healing, sabotaging, and gate opening speed for all remaining survivors. [This is the counterplay to Thanatophobia that we feel is needed in the game, while not making Thanatophobia useless.]

Open-Handed: Increases range of aura reading for all survivors by 10/20/30 meters. Auras last 5 seconds longer.

Saboteur: Sabotage hooks at 25/50/75% speed without a toolbox. Hooks stay sabotaged for 30 more seconds. 20% increased effeciency at sabotaging with a toolbox.

Buckle-Up: Recovery progress of dying survivors can be determined by the intensity of their auras up to 128 meters. When put in the dying state, all other survivors can see your recovery progress by the intensity of your aura. After healing someone from the dying state or being healed from the dying state, all survivors who participated in the action see the killer's aura for 4 seconds.

Flip-Flop: While in the dying state, 100% of your recovery progress is converted to wiggle progress. This perk deactivates upon stunning the killer by wiggling-off. [Currently, it's an anti-slug perk; however, it's too weak. Making it a much stronger, but 1-time use perk makes it feel more powerful and fun, while still being niche.]

Hope: When a gen is completed, gain a 2/3/4% haste effect for 10 seconds. When exit gates are powered gain a permanent 4/5/6% haste effect. [Don't like NoED but are too lazy to do totems (or playing solo)? Well have we got a perk for you! With this haste effect, you shouldn't be getting hit at all!]

Wake Up: Every 30 seconds the perk will activate, cleansing you of Hemorrhage, Blindness, Mangled, Hindered, Cursed (Cursed = Hex perks. This doesn't affect ruin, as that is reapplied upon every skill check.), and wakes you up. You are immune for 1 second to these affects after being cleansed.[We decided that it would be better to just scrap its old effect as the gate opening speed would either do nothing, or feel bad to play against. We preferred to give it the flavor of waking up from microsleeps like in the movies (those microsleeps being translated into certain status effects).

Vigil: You and all allies within 8 meters recover from the exhaustion and exposed status effects 100% faster. Effect persists for 15 seconds upon exiting the range.

Calm Spirit: You overcome the urge to scream. You do not scare crows. Your breathing and footsteps are 50/75/100% quieter.

Technician: Reduce gen repair noise by 10 meters. Upon failing a skill check, a second skill check appears. If you succeed in hitting the second skill check, the generator does not blow up. [This makes the perk less rng, and more about allowing survivors to get good at skill checks, rather than sometimes not being punished for missing one]

Autodidact: Now works with medkits. Starts at a -15% progress penalty instead of -25%. You have a 15% increased chance of triggering a skillcheck while healing others.[(The description is too long for such small changes, and as such, I didn't write it out.) It shouldn't take 3 skill checks to then finally get a benefit out of this perk. Healing is already time not spent on gens. The downside is too harsh to make the stacking worth it. This also gives a use to all the "increased skill check odds" add-ons for medkits.]

Pharmacy: You search chests 50/75/100% quieter and faster. Every chest searched yields an emergency med-kit. [I don't see why this perk only works once. If this is supposed to be an alternative to perks like self-care and botany knowledge, it needs to be more consistent. Making every chest be a green medkit allows you to always have a medkit at the ready, and because you need to search chests instead of doing gens, it is completely fair.]

Solidarity: Works with medkits. [This is probably the only change the perk needs. You could increase the conversion rate, but that might push it over the edge by shaving off too much time from healing.]

Poised: After a gen is completed, you leave no scratch marks for 6/8/10 seconds. If you completed the generator, you also gain a 2% haste effect (this stacks with the hope haste effect) for 6/8/10 seconds.

Resilience: When injured, exposed, or in terror radius, increase action speed by 3/6/9%. [This honestly might make the perk too strong at red ranks, but the percentage might be too small, and promotes aggressive play rather than hiding.]

Comraderie: While on hook, push the active ability button to pause the hook timer for 20/25/30 seconds. The perk can only be used once.

Kindred: (Make current kindred base.) Upon reuniting with a survivor, see their aura up to 128 meters away for 15/30/45 seconds. The timer does not deplete until you are 16 meters away, and is refreshed upon reuniting once again. [Current Kindred should be added if they ever nerf survivors again, as solo survivors should be buffed to have the same info as SWFs if they wish to balance the game around SWFs. This new idea gives a fun mini-game of refreshing it by regrouping with fellow survivors and promotes cooperative play.

Lightweight: Your scratch marks disappear 1/2/3 seconds faster and you slow vault 20% faster. [This cements the perk something for stealthier survivors while adding another use.]

Breakdown: Upon unhooking yourself or another survivor, or being unhooked, the hook is immediately sabotaged.

Stakeout: Being in terror radius or looking at the killer gives you a token, up to 6/8/10. Upon hitting a good skill check, a token is consumed, and the good skill check becomes a great. [Stakeout is fun to use, but it doesn't have a high enough maximum, and is countered by stealth killers or being on a large map. Adding the "looking at the killer" option allows you to continue to use the perk, but requires more aggressive and dynamic positioning.]

Aftercare: Remove the downside from being hooked. [This would make it a viable alternative to Empathy and Bond, as it's more powerful, but you have to work for it.]

Better Together: Increase generator aura from 32 to 64 meters. [Currently lackluster, but increasing the range to be larger than a terror radius will actually give survivors information.]

Distortion: Increase stacks from 3 to 5. [It's an interesting niche, it just needs to work more often for it to be good.]

Fixated: Remove the uninjured condition. [It's Urban Evasion all over again].

Second Wind: Changed to require completing a heal action rather than getting the equivalent of a heal. Now works with Deliverance. [Deliverance and Second Wind would be a fun combo but not broken at all, as it would require unhooking and completing a heal.]

Inner Strength + Small Game: Adds a totem counter next to your perks. [This either needs to be base, or be on every perk that interacts with totems now and in the future.]

Are you gonna do Killer perks too?

  • ALL OF LEGION'S!!!!

No seriously, I can give you a video with the numbers and how bad they are.

  • Honestly, If I kept track of every Survivor that acted like a douche i'd have a Book Of Grudges like a Warhammer Dwarf. I aint got enough time for all that, and I doubt anyone outside of middle school does.

  • As A Killer main, I like how it is now. You make that hatch not power gates and things will go down hill QUICKLY.

  • @Corrupted said:

This is gonna be a very unpopular opinion but I think the whole SWF matchmaking issue was better before, it's better to have a rank 1+12+10+10 survivors vs a rank 9 killer than have a red rank killer vs green survivors and one red rank.

Why? Because the skillgap for survivor is much higher and harder than killer in green and brown ranks. Maybe even purple. It's much harder learning how to pallet loop, map design, where pallets are, etc. Opposed to just downing survivors. The mistake most newer killers make is chasing that red rank survivor for ages when they could've literally chased anyone else and downed them in less than 30 secs. Common sense dictates if I can't catch this guy in a reasonable frame of time then move on..

Every SWF isn't a death squad, some people do play this game casually, believe it or not. I suggest that when a SWF loads in, the killer can see all their levels? That way you can tell it's a SWF indefinitely and know what you're up against. Now if the case was three red ranks and a brown vs a green or brown killer then that's awful. That should never happen, but if averages were taken accordingly then it shouldn't.

also the MM before this was putting rank 18 killers vs. all red ranks. THAT is what OP wants back, OR they want a rank 3, 15, 10, 16 to go against rank 18 Killers (For example)
