As a Killer, I don't dodge based on trollbaiting names or flashy cosmetics.
Killers who do that are chumps and are probably the ones who flood these forums with tears about getting "gEn RuShEd."
HOWEVER, as a Survivor main solo queue player... if I see ANY of the default cosmetics - including non-license DLC characters, I leave.
Survivors in the free/default cosmetics tend to be newer and/or casual players with a solo player mindset and selfish interests. They usually backfire gens, unsafe unhook, crouch in a corner of a map, or crabwalk around the map.

But there are times - for instance, the end of the trial when all gens are powered, that you can't slide in a locker.
Right now, it's completely imbalanced with the Billy, Spirit & Nurse. They are all over the place in 6-8 seconds. And it's like 3-4 second animation getting a locker.

This is a 1v4 and when Killers do petty stuff like adding Freddy's Pink add-ons with Thana + Dying Light...
Even in the old days when BNP took your gen to finished... the Killer still got to chase players and PLAY THE GAME.
They didn't stare at a red bar getting dominated.

Because you're limiting the amount of limited usefulness it already has... and building a straw man argument by exaggerating everyone's reaction is not going to help your case.
BBQ's main point is to get people away from the hook so they don't camp. That's it. It gives more BPs the more people you hook, and it shows you where they are now... not where they will be when you get there.

I got in trouble with the mods for pointing out someone's hypocritical posts so now I'm refraining from quoting a problematic user with a Killer role bias.
And limiting the Aura views isn't limiting BBQs usefulness. Most players use it for the stacks. If you are 8 hooks deep and have no idea where the Survivors could be...
A.) you are doing really good wrecking the Survivors as all 7 gens are still up.
B.) go to any of the remaining gens
Just because something isn't glaringly obvious as being overpowered, doesn't mean it's not overpowered.🥴🥴🥴

I'm at an awe that the same people begging for Survivor nerfs and shouting that DbD isn't a "1v1" are same ones telling Survivors to play it like a 1v1.
Actually, I take that back. I'm not in awe. This forum is swarming with very skewed bias towards Killers.
It blows my mind cuz Killers get to play an ENTIRE trial regardless if they get "GeN-RuShEd" or trolled.
Somehow, the fun should only happen for Killers?

You say it's not OP cuz it only last 4 seconds, then you say there are so many counters.
If there are so many counters, why would limiting it to 4 be a problem?

I use it for the BP stacks.
I'm usually forgetting I can swing around and see whose aura is revealed.

Honestly, there should be a sickness timer.
For 90 seconds, your repair/heal/sabo/cleanse/vault speed is slowed down to 75% penalty and will remain that low until you cleanse.
This would really help Plague Killers get their 1-shot vomit and stop the broken status that vomit gives (which is too meme-y/gimmicky and why she's not fun to go against).

Survivor 1 gets unhooked. I hook survivors 2 and 3. Find survivor 1, chase them, down them, and get hit with DS. But gee, my bad, I should've had a stop watch to keep track of how long it'd been since they got unhooked.
And for anyone who says "You must've been doing good that match, it couldn't have made a difference," no, wrong. While I was stunned by DS survivors 2 and 3 were unhooked, so all four survivors are on their feet and the pressure I'd suddenly managed to put on them was completely lost.
Sorry, I hate that argument. Killers do not have to tunnel to get punished by DS, and it is not as simple as "just don't go after the survivor."

You were able to hook TWO OTHER SURVIVORS.
Don't you complain of Gen rushing?
How do Killah Mainz cry about gen rushing, but then end trials with Solo Ques in 5 minutes.

It's actually was proven a few times when Killer players come on here with screenshots lol and then someone counters with video footage that they tunneled a successful looper. I can't find the post cuz I wasn't a member, but a killer was being super fresh with video footage and it backfired.

DS needs changed that if you are slugged, the timer doesn't go down.
However, if you are healed to full health, DS should deactivate.

I'm uncomfortable how much of a straight rip off their Survivors are of DbD and 80s horror slasher flicks.
I'm also upset that they are ripping off DbD.
DbD only happened cuz Behaviour is an independent studio not answering to share holders like Capcom/EA/Activision. Those triple A studios WOULD NEVER have attempted an symmetrical game like DbD.
So I'm bitter they're coming along and taking DbD's shine. What's worse that since RE is such a huge popular franchise, I truly see it being able to impact the DbD player population.

But there is one killer that has an obviously glaring issue that requires re-balance.
Stop asking for things that require more time than a simple rebalance to an OP killer.

Some perks are heavily affected by map RNG. On some maps, like Haddonfield, Balanced Landing gives survivors god-like powers. On other maps, like Sheltered Woods, it's more difficult to take advantage of Balanced Landing. That's part of the game.
What does the novella you typed out have to do with Sheltered Woods being one of the blandest, non-descript maps?
I never mentioned RNG, so why are you bringing it up?

But the Spirit doesn't shake up gameplay. She makes everything into luck/chance with the luck heavily tilted in her favor.
She needs balanced to when she's phasing/vaulting, that it's apparent.
Phasing is already an amazing, sure thing... cuz like you said, Survivors pick a pattern and repeat it.

Right now, in Sheltered Woods, the only oppurtunity to use Balanced Landing is the basement stairs.

Remove scratch marks when a Survivor wins the chase until a Killer chases someone else.
Clearly, the Killer doesn't know how to take "no" for an answer... make it even hard for him/her to keep tunneling.
