yes, I have hundreds of each prior years still on my killers I grinded during those events. For example, on my Huntress 100+ 103% cvakes on Plague over 140 104% cakes.
Now I have like 230+ on Dredge
Hoarding problem?

So it seems they expect there to be 275,000+ players participating.
So far there seems to be about 200,000.
More like 95,000 to 120,000 on steam + consoles

Clearly part of the 75% I carved out. Oh no! Survivor hitting the crouch button. That ruins my gameplay! Lol.
Fact: teabagging has zero effect on your gameplay other than slowing the survivor down.
“Harassing and bullying killer” lofl. The fact that you’re not good enough to catch the survivors and make them pay in fair gameplay is your problem. If you turn toxic that’s on you. Get better and make them pay through your superior gameplay.
Again - I’m talking about killers doing this for no reason and you bring up the situations when a killer gets triggered because they are lower skill and the survivors act like jerks. Sorry that’s your experience but it’s irrelevant.
Many of you killers act like you play the exact same group of survivors every game. One group acts like morons so you turn toxic all day. SMH. Wake tf up.
"Many of you killers act like you play the exact same group of survivors every game. One group acts like morons so you turn toxic all day. SMH. Wake tf up."
So, it's acceptable on the survivor side but not on the killers? Got it.

I consistely score less than survivors do in my games, this is simply messed up. Whenever I try to bring an anniversary offering I immediately get sweat squads who will loop me throughout the entire game while the rest of the team keeps splitting gens to finish them as quickly as possible. The result might be a meager bp reward for everyone but I'm the one who especially suffers from this since survivors still get 5000 bloodpoints for free after escaping.
Even if we disregard events and their nature as a whole we still have to consider the hardships casual style killerplayers like me have to endure. I don't bring meta perks into my games nor do I play the best possible killers, I am simply playing the killers I genuinely like and choose perks which highlight their playstyle. Sadly survivors don't do anything like this at all, they rather bring the same 3-4 perks into every single match and deny me the ability to enjoy the game at all by playing as dirty as possible. There's literally no room for players like me.
There should be a serious discussion about compensation here. Right now playing as a m1 killer feels like an extremely ungrateful job with meager income and no paid vacation days. There should be an union to combat this type of exploitation.
I'm not a good Killer myself, but even I get about 70% of the matches more points than survivors. I have to ask; on what platform are you playing?

*Survivors teabagging, harassing and bullying killer*
*Killer starts to camp, slug and tunnel*
Survivors: (surprise Pikachu face with Vince Russo's voice) "Bro! Bro! Why you like this?! Bro! Chill! Why you so toxic?! Bloodpoints, bro! You toxic, bro! Just a game, bro!"

lol. yeah everyone on this forum rn could "do their part" and the community challenge still isn't gonna budge.
I wrote that before I knew it was capped and you can't contribute more than 40... So, yeah. I was wrong
-
Killer should be able to see who are SWF in the lobby. Like in OW, where you could see who are playing together. "But this will cause killer players to dodge lobbies" Yes, that is true. But it also gives killer players freedom of choice. Now they are mostly forced to play against SWF's. If survivors have the right to play as SWF, then why shouldn't killer have the choice to avoid them?

BHVR taking any actions to this? I mean, if you can't contribute more than 40 personally, then this goal will never be achieved.

Sounds more like you need to take a break from this game.

So that Dregde could come out of the closet more often. It's a Pride month after all...

Wow... And survivors wonder why Killer players keep calling them whiny and entitled.

Sounds more like PC problem it seems. Haven't experienced it at all. I'm playing on XSX

I report them as unsportsmanlike every time. The game is balanced to a 4 man swf. When playing as solo there’s often an instant DC. So we now have an already unbalanced game (killer is favored vs solos) become insanely unfair. Since Behaviour can’t figure out a fair way to deal with immediate DCs it’s MY OPINION that it is unsportsmanlike for a killer to play a game that is wildly unfair and balanced in their favor and they should just make it a farming game instead of beating up a team that is stuck in an unfair match since Behaviour wont let us quit in these situations. Just throwing it out there… It’s your system Behaviour. This is how I interpret it.
Just putting this here
-
"THE DREDGE IS WHAT EVERY KILLER SHOULD BE LIKE."
Exactly. And because of that, Dredge will be nerfed to the ground, because survivors will go "Oh no, this killer won't let me gen rush all five gens and stroll through the matches like a breeze. Whaah!"

I've said many times I'd love a surr action for killers once gens are done. Would reduce queue times, frustration from playing killer, and make the role more bearable.
Well, no need for this. Just go open the gate by yourself and go standing in the corner as far away as you can from the gates, after all the gens are done.
-
Seriously, on these kinds of cases, namedropping of the Killer player should be allowed. Effin' hell... How small of a person do you have to be to something like that??
-
@Carrow said:
I don't. If you can't 3k 9 out of 10 games, you need to learn how to play. With SBMM feeding sub 100 hour babies to 8k+ hour nurses, there's no real excuse to losing most of the time.
Nice mentality you got there. Like, NOT toxic at all... The good ol' "Lol you suck! Just git gud!"
-
I think they should change it so, that when the final gen is done, hatch spawns but it is closed if there is 2 or more survivors left in the game.
-
I keep seeing people bringing this up constantly... Haven't seen it happen at all. I play on XSX. Is it more of a PC problem?
-
It was broken from the beginning. But truth be told, don't look at the ranks. Just try to enjoy the game and play. Don't put too much emphasis on the winning of the game. Set different goals for yourself on every match.
I've managed to get myself to like this game more when I realized that killing every survivor or escaping every match isn't worth it. You'll just burn yourself out because of that if you keep trying to do that.
-
Well, I am stunned! Just stunned. Stunned is the only way to describe how.. Stunned I am!

Years ago when I bought my xbox 360 i made the decision based on PC and Playstation being absolutely plagued with hackers and cheaters. Iv invested thousands of dollars and tens of thousands of hours into my xbox account to date. All has been well for years until i invested 3,500 hours into Dead By Daylight then cross play was introduced. I chose the xbox platform so i could play games and enjoy the strict no-cheat multiplayer aspect that came with it. Now DbD has cross play and I cant play a game(literally not a single one) without having PC cheaters in my game. Survivors that run faster than my killers and vault at boosted speed, people being able to use as many perks as they want at the same time, killers who know exactly where every survivor is at all times, and the list goes on. I know everyone will say that I have the option to turn cross play off but the reality is that during prime hours in the evening and the weekend it takes over an hour to get into a match with cross play turned off. And if its not peak hours it is impossible. I have started the killer que around midnight during the week and left my home to go out and do something and when i get home multiple hours later my killer is still waiting in the same que. Its absurd. I realize that the only reason cross play was introduced was due to low player count and the need to improve que wait times but having to play against cheaters every match makes waiting 20 mins for a match not so bad. Something has to give. If u need to add a game function that monitors random matches to check things like character movement speed and action times in order to ban cheaters mid match then get on your horses and make it happen. Dead By Daylight is turning into how GTA5 used to be when online first came out and its a shame.
You know... You can just turn it off
And also, you're lying... DbD hasn't been released to X360
-
I guess you haven't gone through the Overwatch community. It was the first thing that ruined the game. After that, it was ActiBlizz...

It's one of the most survivor sided maps in the entire game if you ask me, the main-building (saloon) features some of the strongest loops ever. It's basically an infinite if you don't break the doors right away and even then it takes so damn long to reach someone who simply holds W as they circle the exterior of the building. The saloon gen absolutely needs to be placed on the floor-level of the building, it's literally impossible to defend it as a killer. The generator at the gallows is equally busted and impossible to defend. And don't get me started with the extreme amount of doors located at the western side of the map. I absolutely loathe this map, it's unwinnable for me.
Really?? I've had great matches as a survivor AND as a killer. I think it is the most balanced map in the game.
-
Probably because it is the most balanced map in the game. For killers and survivors.

There’s a bp event, ahh thats why games feel sweatier then usual
Yep. Double Blood Points. I stopped taking seriously. When I see that the survivors are SWF with nothing but harassing and bullying in mind, I'll humor them for a while. When they get the gens done, I'll just go open the gate and ruin the fun and farming for them by standing against furthest corner you can find.
-
Just farm the BP's and don't get stressed out. These events bring the trolls and occasional bullies back to the game. Don't take it personally.
-
Yeah, I've noticed it too. But I managed to get over it by not caring about the end results and just started to think of it as an easy way to farm BP's.

It has been almost 2 years i think since nemesis dropped and since then there has been unplayable lag on the game for console and i know the whole "just get a pc" thing but NO u shouldnt need to spend 1000 dollars to play a game worth two nickels also i play against mainly pc players oh and guess what? THEY DONT GET LAG so im stuck losing bc of bs devs that dont know how to do there job the game was literally fine HOW IS IT WORSE??? I understand if it slowly got better but its literally worse than the game years ago devs i hope u see this just so u know how bad at ur own job u guys are and yea im complaining! But i shouldnt lose an entire match bc a pc player dead hards and by the time my frames go back hes across the map 29293992 gens popped and they are healed :)
I'm guessing you're playing on XOne or PS4? The lag is a known issue caused by hard drive of those consoles. When I got my XSX, which has a SSD, the lag issue was completely gone. I think there is no fix to this problem because I'm guessing it is more of a hardware problem than software.
