The player's name is not required when you create the ticket, so anonymous mode doesn't protect people from being reported and banned. Anonymous mode protects console players from harassment.

No disrespect, but how is this an accidental misclick? It’s not like you’re prompted by the game as soon as you enter sanctuary. It’s not like a series of mindless mashing buttons led to inadvertently pressing the button. You have to walk all the way over to the chimera to do so. She’s in the far left corner of the room from where you enter, well past the raid selection console. So…… why did you walk over there? It’s like that meme of the guy on a bicycle jamming a stick in between the spokes of his wheels. You did this to yourself.
I was trying to look at the challenges. The screen kept hanging on "fetching data" when I pressed the "up" key on the controller, I had to restart the game each time to get it unstuck, so I went to go see if I'd have a different result when bringing the screen up by talking to the Chimera. The console thing with the button and the Chimera are right next to each other. All it takes is having the camera turned slightly the wrong way.

There's only a small amount of info shown in the pre-game lobby. You can't see what perks a player is running or their Devotion level, if they have anonymous mode on you can't even see their name. With very little information given, any information given looks important. Is Prestige important? Is it an indicator of skill? No. But because it's one of the only pieces of info available in the lobby, people place importance on it and judge players based on it. This can have a negative effect, like lobby dodging or tunneling.
So Prestige shouldn't be shown in the pre-game lobby. No silly number value should be shown in the lobby, not grade nor rank nor prestige nor devotion, none of it. A number value is too easy to place false importance on.

I hear you but if you are sitting at 100,000 cells then you really don't have anything to worry about in terms of losing some. Even when the next section drops and you unlock everything you'll be at around 75,000 cells give or take. Then you won't have anything to spend cells on for a few months and you'll be back up to 100k cells after a couple weeks with nothing to spend them on.
That's true right now, but we never know what might change given it's a live service game. And whether or not it's needed, it's frustrating to bank something for months and then have it gone in the blink of an eye. Even the silly free gacha DMM game I play asks "Are you sure?" before I do something that would give me points when I'm maxed out and would lose said points. Those points will refill on their own in a matter of hours, but it's good design and provides a better player experience.
Also, I really really would like to get rid of the "Evolve the Chimera" notification that sits in the corner of the screen constantly and refuses to go away.

I think almost everyone who's ever played the game on a platform that's not PC wants cross-progression.
I play on Switch. DbD needs the cross-progression that was promised for Switch/PC.

I wish they had this for both decals and block types.

I think putting on Mindbreaker should get that done, as long as the survivors touch gens.

I would even grant him the no recoil in addition to 115%. None of the other buffs of course, we don't want him to be the next DC merchant.
Yeah, he definitely needs to keep the no recoil. That crap really hurts on a controller. I feel like I'm flailing wildly when I try adjust my aim with his blades.

Every time I go to the Borgo all I see is BHVR's sloppy uninspired version of Caelid. I absolutely love Caelid, but goddamn a red color scheme for a map doesn't work in DbD and that's so obvious it should never need to be stated. I don't know how the Borgo got past the crayon stage.

I think Chucky proved that nothing is off the table; it does not matter if it is true horror or comedic horror, it does not matter if they are small or tall. Though I can think of maybe a few things that just wont ever be put into DBD.
I think the only things that wont get put into the game are Slenderman and Jeff the Killer, mostly due to the controversies surrounding those horror stories involving horrific IRL events.
Also JAWS... we will 100% never get JAWS... it just wont work...
we will 100% never get JAWS... it just wont work...
No way. Bruce is the next licensed killer, guaranteed. 🦈♥️

If so, would you like to see them in this game? Could it work? Would adding any of these two into this game be a thing you would want/wish to see?
M3GAN is a good movie, but her character design doesn't call out to me as something I'd want to play as. I'd prefer her to Annabelle, though. As for whether or not they could work, I mean, sure, I don't see why not.

So far, Helena Bonham Carter and Karen Gillan are the best choices I've seen.
I'd love to see Elvira added, but that's a character rather than an actress.

I think you have to go ask the people who own Attack on Titan. Their collabs seem to be very temporary. And if your plea does work, I beg you to ask them to do the same for Tecmo's Dead or Alive 5; I really want those DOA5 bundles, and they didn't respond to me.
Just thinking about how I missed out on the DOA5 cosmetics and arenas makes me extremely sad. :(

I have now had this happen with a small base. Tried entering it twice in co-op: it crashed both times. Chouteau by Androlus is a small base with only 7 guards and 15 traps (11 of them Boltshots). It is a long base at 261m, but it's still only a small.
It's really not fun that the game is so unstable. The more I play, the more it feels like a chore: having to constantly restart the game, having to kick my friend if the next base is a large just so I can go in and abandon it. It'll randomly freeze when loading into a base, and it'll either crash on its own or it'll be stuck until I close the game manually, at which point it'll hang and then finally crash.
Edit: A base with a large number of enemies took an extremely long time to load, and then the frame drops and stuttering were so bad it was unplayable for my friend. He was on his way out with the GenMat when the game suddenly teleported him into an acid pit and then crashed. He quit after that. He was begrudgingly putting up with the miserable new Spontaneous Corrosive Cube mod, but he's had it with dying to performance issues. Before the Expedition track, I at least had some choice, I would've had a better chance at sticking to smaller bases. Co-op has always had performance issues, but this is beyond what's reasonable. We tried to play through the issues to work on earning the Expedition rewards, but it's not worth this. My friend is frustrated enough he's having absolutely no fun. He's probably going to uninstall MYM and if he does I'll follow. The fun was raiding together.
-
Yes, I've experienced this as well. Once my friend and I noticed this, we just turned the game off. Definitely not worth playing through the constant crashing when only one of us is earning the main Expedition rewards.

I'm trying to imagine BHVR coming up with a nice way to go to Netflix and say, "Hey, some of our players are unhappy that Stranger Things has returned to the game. Are we allowed to give original owners free exclusive cosmetics to appease them?" And I don't see Netflix giving BHVR the green light on that. Even if they did, BHVR would have to allot manpower to create those cosmetics, and that's just a money sink with no return on investment.
I've owned Stranger Things since it was released, and I got the cosmetics on sale. I think it's nice that ST has returned and feel no sense of loss. Stranger Things was always meant to be a chapter, not a limited time exclusive. I wouldn't have bought those cosmetics if they weren't on sale, but I got them at a huge discount and I still only got the ones I wanted, not every single one just for some misplaced sense of exclusivity or FOMO. If you purchased cosmetics you didn't want, unless someone literally forced you to do it, that decision is on you. If someone did force you, then that's a matter for the police.
I'm not trying to be unfriendly in my response. However, just because new players now have access to Stranger Things doesn't lessen its value for old players. And players who didn't buy Stranger Things when it was originally released still have to purchase the chapter and any cosmetics they want, they don't get it for free. Hopefully, ST returning means BHVR will get to add new cosmetics to the store, and then there will be new items for everyone, both old players and new.
-
BHVR marketing at the end of ST license that it will be not obtainable any more
At the time of BHVR saying that, it was true. Netflix is the one who refused to renew the license. Netflix probably gave BHVR every reason to believe Stranger Things would never return to DbD. Also, in no world could BHVR have said, "Hey, Stranger Things might return in the future, you never know." Companies can't do that when a license expires.
According to the Stranger Things writers on Twitter, it's because DbD fans endlessly bothered Netflix about Stranger Things that it's now able to return. So, really, it's Netflix or DbD players who are to blame for the return of the Stranger Things content.
If BHVR hadn't told people Stranger Things was leaving the game, players would have been rightfully pissed about missing out. And as I said, BHVR couldn't make some unfounded claim that Stranger Things might return in the future. There's nothing they could say that would convey the intricacies of licensing agreements without probably getting them in trouble with Netflix. Companies aren't usually allowed to discuss licensing contracts. They said Stranger Things was leaving the store, and it did leave the store for years.

I look forward to unleashing Nemesis's zombies on Hawkins once again. Those matches were often hilarious.

But it has some spots where the frames tank, thats true.
Some of the stutters and short freezes i have on other maps too. The worst when a skill check comes up, game stutters and you missed it due to that.
I kept the title short and attention-grabbing. RPD isn't the smoothest but it's usually not horrible. In the post I explain the killer was Dredge because I think it was something about him, his power, and/or his cosmetic that tanked performance.

We'll have to see what even makes it through the PTB. I hope the walking speed increase stays. I've always wanted to be able to play Trickster as an M1 killer because I like the bat twirl animation. No guarantee I'll like his blades even if the recoil is removed, aiming sucks ass on controller in DbD no matter what, but his bat is ❤️.

It really only does anything against literal facecamping, meaning standing right up against the survivor on hook. And while this doesn't change all too much at all about the gameplay surrounding camping and seems to more so have been intended to alleviate player experience concerns to do with possible frustrations of having a killer stare at and hit you on hook and the like, it can at times open up windows to save against killers when you're injured or Exposed or they have instadown abilities/perks/add-ons, since they have to keep a certain distance.
In general, camping had really been solved by removing hook grabs. Camping is still viable and strong in various situations, but it's not like they had set out to render it completely useless to begin with (then they could have just removed hook timers). Camping shouldn't be altogether "removed" from the game because not only is it - for better and worse - part of the gameplay balancing in the game's current state, but it adds to the strategical depth of the game and can create thrilling gameplay precisely because it makes for precarious, snowbally scenarios.
Something they should have however add in my opinion that would really cement the introduction of this mechanic as something worthwile is a HUD indicator for this bar, for all survivors to see. That would not only tell other survivors that the survivor on hook can unhook themselves, but it would also be an approximate indicator of whether the killer is camping.
I agree, there needs to be self-unhook info in the HUD. Too often I see facecamping killers and the person's bar is going up and then it stops because other survivors start crouching nearby, halting the self-unhook progress. Or they run in just before the person could unhook themselves to make the save, and it ends up with two people down.
I do wish survivors would stop crouching nearby when teammates are being facecamped. It's making the new feature useless. Of course, as someone who can't judge distance well, if my friend's being camped on the hook I have to just keep moving away until I see his self-unhook bar start filling up again. Most people can't look at their friends' screens and do that.
-
I dodge every lobby with a Meg. My survivor matches aren't perfect, but they are in general better for being Meg-free.
Trying to give players the ability to cherry-pick random teammates based on perk loadouts would be a mess. There's no way to implement that without making queue times absolutely miserable. But depipping does need to be removed. It should've been removed the moment Ranks became Grades.

Imagine you queued up in a game of DotA. The enemy team starts grouping up after 10 minutes and starts pushing towers as a team to start taking objectives. Your team completely ignores this and just keeps on farming. 10 more minutes go by, the same thing. You are trying to defend objectives, but your team won't, they keep ignoring it, you keep pleading with them to help. 10 more minutes go by, more of the same. 10 more minutes go by, you are now 40 minutes into the game, your team is ignoring all the objectives and just passively farming and avoiding the enemy while they push into your base. 10 more minutes pass, the enemy is finally in your base and your team is still ignoring them. 5 more minutes pass, and the game ends and you lose.
This kind of thing can happen in DotA as well, and again i mention, a game of DotA even in this scenario can often last for over an hour and yet you still have to stick it out, deal with the team that you were given, and attempt to overcome the enemy team. And, if you don't, if you rage at your team, cuss them out, yell at them, feed (suicide into the enemy team), or otherwise grief your teammates, you will get a harsh ban for doing so.
So again, what makes DBD so special that allows you to ######### over your team and ragequit just because something isn't going your way. Especially when, again, a game of DBD at most is lasting probably 10-15 minutes, and a game of DotA can last well over an hour. Are you saying that you can't deal with 10 minutes of having teammates who are not playing in your preferred way when people in other games have to deal with it for over an hour?
Never played DotA. Sounds like a game I never would play.
Those matches where my teammates refuse to participate are miserable. They can go on for over half an hour as I get chased, get away, try to work on a gen, and then get either found by the killer or immediately sandbagged by a teammate who happened to get found. I've had those matches go on for over forty minutes before I finally begged for death because it was so frustrating and boring. I'm not doing that anymore.
It's not that those teammates are 'playing in a way I don't like.' It's that they're not playing. A mod on the forums recently said that stealthing around not touching gens counts as unsportsmanlike behavior ("refusing to participate in normal gameplay") and is reportable, but reporting is a pain in the butt, it's easier and quicker to move on. I'm not obligated to play with people who aren't playing.
And that's the thing. This game doesn't have things in place to prevent players from breaking the rules. We're told to report those players. And I do report the most egregious ones but it's a damn pain in the ass and I'm not going to waste my life reporting people when again it's much easier to just move on.
-
If I run the killer around for a good while and during that time none of my teammates even touch a gen (yeah, I watch the HUD), then I'm out. What's the point of being the only one participating in a team of four? Now, if the four of us are having fun ignoring gens and going for boldness and altruism together, that's fine, because it's a shared thing, but selfish survivors who let everyone else do the work or only play for hatch are not worth sticking around for. MMR needs to be a bit more intelligent and filter those hide-and-hide-some-more players out so they only get lobbies with each other.
-
I went against two Naughty Bears yesterday. Both burned Ebony Moris. First one got a 4k but not a single mori. Second one, my friend and I threw ourselves at him. Begged to be mori'd. He hooked us once and then refused to touch us or anyone else for the rest of the match, even after the gens were done.
Two Naughty Bears, two ebony moris, zero moris. My confusion and disappointment are immeasurable.
I haven't heard a single voice line, either. :(
-
The game either needs K&M support on console or BHVR needs to stop designing killers specifically for K&M. Blight and Trickster all but literally spit in the console player's face. I main Nemesis, and I love him but I know part of the reason is because he compensates for some of consoles' limitations: strafing with the tentacle is what makes his power actually useable on controller, and his zombies aren't hindered by the performance issues. BHVR should be embarrassed those are reasons someone would choose a specific killer in their roster.
-
I run Lightborn myself, so I'm cool with it and kind of assume a lot of other killers run it, too. And I get really freaking pissed at teammates who don't take that into consideration. I get a lot of teammates who sandbag, body block, and drop pallets on me to force me to go down, all so they can get a flashlight save which 99.9% of the time fails for one reason or another. A pair did that yesterday against a BILLY who, surprise surprise, was running Lightborn. No, they didn't get saved when it was their turn on the hook.
When I run Lightborn, I usually play like I don't have it, looking away from the beam so that the survivors will keep feeding me. You can tell they're feeling cocky about it, too, thinking I'm afraid of the blind. I really do appreciate when they stand still so I actually have a chance at getting a down on Switch; I need them to do that.
-
@FreddyVoorhees said:
If they flap it means the killer is camping so I leave them hanging and do gens instead.
^ This. And with the new antifacecamp system, this is the best play: they'll be able to unhook themselves, but if you go in for the save their self-unhook meter stops filling up because there's a survivor nearby. So, a teammate flapping their arms means my friend and I stay on gens.
-
Yeah, a Claudette blocked my friend in an alcove because he was doing bones. She got a bird and didn't move until the killer came over, at which point she ran off and my friend went down.
Once a survivor gets a bird, they should really lose collision or something. It'd be better to prevent this nonsense from happening instead of having to go through the trouble of reporting it. Which, my friend and I didn't bother. Instead, when Claudette got hooked and was being camped in the basement, I hung out in the killer shack above. A bit of revenge was quicker than a report, but preventing the griefing in the first place would be much better.
-
Console players complain about this all the time. We at least want dead zone and response curve settings, and BHVR doesn't even give us that after years of asking for it.
-
The old version of Buckle Up sucked. Never used it. Now that it gives Endurance, my friend has it permanently equipped and it's come in very useful. Endurance keeps us from going down; Haste wouldn't.
If some people want a pick-up perk that gives Haste instead, then BHVR needs to have two separate perks.
-
I want to put the Puddles charm on Clown's hook.
-
I loaded in as survivor on Nostromo, and the Switch performance was a slideshow. I couldn't play the match.
Killer is always awful. If Tome challenges didn't exist, I'd probably never play killer on Switch. It's miserable trying to fight through the performance issues. It'd ridiculously difficult just trying to track survivors in a chase, and with how often I have to pause and change course it's nearly impossible to catch up to them... and then when I do catch up, I swing and it whiffs and the survivor disappears.
Not sure how many hours I have on Switch, but I am extremely bitter. BHVR ported the game to Switch, they should have hired people who specialize in Switch ports so that the game would actually run properly on Switch.
-
Yes, the devs have said that if none of the remaining survivors work on gens for an extended period of time (they won't say exactly how long), then it's holding the killer hostage and is reportable.
Of course, this doesn't help the killer whose options are to search the entire map multiple times over attempting to find the survivors, wait for the match to end at the hour mark, or disconnect and eat the penalty.
The devs need to find a real way of dealing with this. As long as one survivor is attempting gens, the others can hide behind rocks and locker hop and it's perfectly fine within the game's rules. It's completely garbage game design. I don't know what the devs expect when it's down to two survivors, but at least one is going to play for the hatch, and it's ridiculous to expect otherwise in a game that's designed around playing selfishly. The bots play for the hatch, for god's sake. Why do I have to work on gens when the bot gets to stealth around the edges of the map waiting for me to die?

I played DBD on an Xbox1x, the absolute strongest of the prior gen machines, and the performance issues progressively got worse and worse. On my Series X performance was very much improved, but over time many of those same issues began cropping up again. To this day there's maps and status triggers that eat up frames like Pacman.
And our precious Switch cousins, damn I feel they got the rottenest end of that stick. Anyone running killer on those are definitely the real heros.
Pulsar and many others contributed to this forum's biggest thread ever all documenting console issues, sadly to negligible effect. The coding of this game is just not very digestible by any of the consoles.
I've often here said the best decision the devs ever made was to port their game on over to the consoles, and the worst decision they ever made was to port their game on over to the consoles. Still rings true for me.
our precious Switch cousins, damn I feel they got the rottenest end of that stick. Anyone running killer on those are definitely the real heros.
This. This this this. I have DbD on PS4 and Switch and my god, Switch feels so much worse. Survivor is bad; killer is nearly unplayable. I think I've completed all non-glyph challenges across all the Tomes on PS4. Meanwhile, on Switch, there are all these killer challenges that will probably never be completed. Another thing that shows BHVR doesn't realize how bad Switch performance is: Tome challenges reward the same on Switch as on PS4, but killer challenges are not equal across platforms. Not at all. Everything is so much more difficult on Switch. Chasing/tracking survivors. Landing hits. Downing survivors. Carrying survivors. It is one of the most frustrating experiences I've had in any game ever.
The vast majority of Switch killers I've faced run Unrelenting. It's practically a requirement. Most attempted hits miss.
BHVR can't possibly have any idea how bad it is on Switch. The Tome for the previous event had a challenge that required sacrificing four survivors. That was such a miserable thing for BHVR to do. Don't make limited time challenges that require getting a 4k.
On top of all that, they do Twitch drops and completely exclude Switch players. A game shouldn't do stuff that excludes a portion of its playerbase like that, and it shows BHVR has no idea how miserable the experience is on Switch when they're willing to add another thing for Switch players to be unhappy about.
There are simple things they could do to make console life a bit better, like dead zone and response curve controller settings, and brightness/contrast/gamma settings on Switch, but they don't even do that much. Even if I go in the closet to play in absolute darkness on handheld, the maps are so dark it's unplayable (I once thought I was hiding in a corner of a tile on Dead Dawg Saloon... only to find out I was crouching in the middle of the street); I have to play docked.
Sorry, this reply isn't really directed at anyone in this thread. It's me taking a chance to rant in BHVR's general direction. I only wish it meant anything. I am extremely bitter that BHVR announced Switch cross-progression (which is the only reason I bought it on Switch), had a set date, and then canceled it. My attitude towards BHVR has been one of frustration and distrust ever since.

Thank you for reporting this, Mikoto_souh1! Would you be able to provide some further information?
- What platform did you experience this on?
- What Character and Perks (besides Self-Care that you mentioned) were played in this match?
- Which Map did this occur on (to the best of your memory)?
- Frequency of the issue (have you experienced this before, or again after reporting? Or, thus far have only had this occur in the one match?)
Thank you!
My friend and I have had this happen, as well. In two different matches on different maps, different characters. I'm on Switch, he's on PS4. We both ran Self Care but otherwise our perk loadouts were different. It would happen to both of us in the same match. We could see the healing progress if we healed the other person, but we couldn't see the progress on ourselves when Self Caring.
I don't think our perk loadouts were the same from match to match, either, because we were working on Tome challenges. The killer did not have Sloppy Butcher or anything that applied hemorrhage or mangled. When Self Caring, we found out we were healing, we just could not see the progress on ourselves.

I know, but I do want to point out that the only role that can lobby-shop at the moment is the Killer role. And the person that I replied to probably would be hurt if they couldn't showcase their Killer prestige to Survivors in the pre-game lobby.
Not true. Survivors can lobby dodge survivors with either low prestige, who could be newbies, or high prestige, who in my experience are usually either trolls or UEing non-participating hatch players. My teammates affect my experience way more than the killer ever does.
-
None. I wouldn't care, I would never buy a second DbD.
It's a fair answer. I don't think BHVR has any interest in a DbD 2 because it would mean giving up or renegotiating all the licenses, but just in case they get that idea in their head, but best not to encourage them. They really don't have a good track record with games; DbD is the exception, not the rule.
The killer I enjoy most is Nemmie, and that's in part because of the zombies: they don't suffer from the same performance issues I do on Switch, giving them a better shot at landing a hit on a survivor, even if they do spent most of their time stuck in corners.
-
A killer facecamped my friend and he was able to yeet himself off the hook. Seems to be working just fine, killer just has to be near with no survivors crouching around pointlessly screwing it up.
-
Just tried playing killer on Switch and it was absolutely godawful. I avoid killer on Switch as much as possible, but the Tome challenges force it. I am so effing miserable every time I play killer on Switch, and now it's worse. The framerate was abysmal, I kept walking into objects in the environment and getting stuck, regular doorways were completely ######### me in chases. I shouldn't lose chases because I need to walk through a doorway.
The cursor has been worse as well. It was already crap given that there are no settings for dead zone and response curve, but the input is even worse, now. The frustration as I take 30+ seconds to select a small button in the menu has me wanting to quit the game altogether. That's not including actual in-match gameplay, that's just trying to deal with the cursor jerking around when I need to select something. It doesn't matter how gentle I try to be with the analog stick, the cursor jumps.
BHVR really has no idea how ######### ######### this game performs on some systems, do they.
-
It's not just you. I went through something like an entire prestige to get a single Broken Bulb on Nic Cage. It is consistently the absolute rarest of this event's items/add-ons/offerings, and it's annoying.

I don't know what you're talking about, prestiges are still there and were always there ever since they removed the ranks that were shown.
I hope prestige level gets removed from being seen by killers and is only shown to other survivors because every P100 player I ever played with got tunneled out early on and that should not be your reward for all the time & bloodpoints invested into a character. I never wanted this new system and the tunneling you get once you hit 100 is a slap in the face.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3566701#Comment_3566701
Yes it is when it's abused and that player is tunneled out and forced to choose between playing as their favorite character that they spent all that time prestiging or playing as another just because the P100 makes them a tunnel target. I can't believe this is even a discussion. And I don't even understand how it is when prestige levels are STILL BEING shown.
prestige levels are STILL BEING shown.
To about half of the playerbase. The other half do not see prestiges in the lobby. BHVR is testing out the change, seeing if it actually does affect the amount of lobby dodging. BHVR has outright said they are performing this test.
I hope that once the testing is over then prestiges will be permanently removed from lobbies (they never should have been shown in lobbies in the first place, a lot of us spoke out against that before it went live because it was so damn easy to predict what would happen), but who knows.

Tally Screen is a hit or miss...
The Beta Tab was there for a Reason. for Features like This...
Not just "Lets force it on Players and Lets see what Happens"
But in this case it's not testing to see if a feature works, like with the wiggle skill checks. This test compares the behavior of two randomly chosen groups of people, seeing if those with prestiges visible in lobbies dodge more than those without. And if people can choose to opt out of the test and see the prestiges, then you'd end up with more people in the control group than the test group and a lot of people leaving the test group would be the exact ones whose behavior is in question and the data would be useless.
tldr: A/B testing is different from beta testing a feature.

First thing, and this has been said a lot, the big problem is that depipping should have been removed the moment it went from Ranks (which were used for matchmaking) to Grades (which are not used for matchmaking). Depipping is bad, it shouldn't still be in the game. It makes losing feel worse than it needs to and it sucks.
My problems with the event are that 1. survivors can steal event generators by sandbagging teammates, and because you only get the gen completion bonus if you're on the gen when it finishes, that's a big problem; and 2. the amount of effort required to release Haunts is pretty steep while the payoff of the Haunts is pretty minimal.

Cause i like to see What they got said survivor Up to?
Is it morally wrong wanting to know what they got their prestiege to on said Survivor now?
You still get to know that, though. Prestiges are shown on the end tally screen. They're only hidden in the lobby.

These "tests" i dont even consent to are driving me nuts! I wanna see the prestige of other people but i just cant because the game says so.... can anything help?
can anything help?
Well, if the change doesn't go live, then after the test everyone will be able to see prestiges again. And if it does go live, then no one will be able to see prestiges. Otherwise, in the meantime, you could buy a new copy of the game, there's probably a 50/50 chance you'll get to see prestiges on the new account. I have the game on PS4 and Switch, and I see prestiges on Switch but not on PS4.

I literally can not get this one done like
Survivors only run into my haunts when I don't have the challenge selected. The moment I select it, they all avoid the things with absolute precision. I'm going to try to get it done as survivor, since kiting the killer toward one should be straightforward. Maybe.
Or is it going to give me haste and then disappear because I reach it slightly before the killer does? Ugh, this challenge is going to be stupid, isn't it. As killer, I gave it to some survivors who asked nicely and pointed at their haunts. I doubt I'll get a killer like that, though.

I've said it many times but the entire lobby should not exist, in my opinion. Given the fact that BHVR put in a survey I did a few months ago whether I would like to buy cosmetic background items to show off in the lobby, I want it gone even more.
End the lobby. Queue up, start a match. If you aren't ready don't queue up! It is too easily exploited, clearly, as everyone that likes this thread's point is abusing the rank information to dodge players they don't like.
On a side note, perhaps BHVR are punishing the regular lobby dodgers by giving them this unique 'test'. Lol!

That would make sense, but no. Prestiges are hidden from me on PlayStation but not on Switch. I don't dodge lobbies on PlayStation nearly as much as Switch (and on PS I dodge lobbies as survivor, not killer, and that has nothing to do with prestige). I can't reasonably play killer on Switch, but I have to play killer to complete challenges, and that means dodging many, many lobbies to get a group I have a chance in hell against when my framerate is in the single digits and survivors move faster than I can turn my camera.
I'm happy prestiges are being hidden, they never should have been shown in lobbies in the first place. But it will mean more killer matches on Switch where I move the analog stick with my foot while watching movies because the survivors have played the game for more than five minutes, meaning I'm less of a threat than the hedges.

Flickering Bulb is not listed as a returning Event Item in the event overview, I'm afraid: https://deadbydaylight.com/news/haunted-by-daylight-live-stream-recap/
Weird, because I am getting it. Just very rarely. I've gotten it off the Bloodweb for Vittorio, Thalita, Renato, and Gabriel.
Edit: And finally, just now, Nic Cage.
