@grtf47 Yeah, exactly. It would be nice if they never happened, but I can't think of the best way to accomplish that. So yea :/ I can't really think of the best approach to it, that is like "Yea! That will fix it! and balance everything!"

Something like, if the hatch isn't open and nothing has been done (gens, chests, totems, interacting with the killer) for ____ amount of time, then crows start popping up over the survivor's head. It'd need an algorithm smart enough to identify actually doing something vs tapping a totem/gen for half a second just to appear active.

  • The answer is "Sometimes." It's usually just a spur-of-the-moment decision, depends on my mood and how the match went. There are no set rules for when I do or don't. If they BM'd or used an instaheal, I definitely won't, but just because they didn't do those things doesn't mean I definitely will give them the hatch, either. If there are only two survivors left and one is trying to do gens and I find the other camping the hatch, the hatch-camper definitely dies; I'll usually give the hatch to the other one in those situations.

If someone seems to be having a really hard time of it, I'm more likely to give them the hatch. I recently had a Meg who I kept running into constantly during the match, I don't know if she was just super unlucky that game or what, she kept blowing up gens. I gave her the hatch.

  • @thatguyinktown Congrats, man. I must say, I'm amazed that Meg didn't immediately jump back into the locker after you got her off your shoulder.

I run that point farming build on Clown regularly, except instead of Whispers I’ll go either ToTH or a TR perk like Coulrophobia.

But oh man it’s oh so satisfying using such a silly build and still getting iridescent in every emblem.

Nice to know I'm not the only one regularly running farming builds. I used to run TotH instead of Beast of Prey, but survivors would go hardcore at the dulls and hex totem once they realized it was in play, and I'd become distracted trying to protect it.

I've gotten so used to Whispers, I feel partially blind without it. Knowing when not to waste time in an area of a map is just invaluable to me.

I pretty much hobble myself with how fair I try to play, so if survivors lose to me with my lack of slow-the-game-down perks, they should really feel embarrassed lol. But yeah, it's satisfying to do well and no one can accuse me of relying on Ruin or NOED or some add-on. Since they can't accuse me of any of that, I guess I shouldn't be surprised someone finally accused me of something more formless like "tunneling."

Wait, wow, you play Clown? I don't see people say that very often.

  • @Pigster said:

DS is such an awesome perk. I dont understand all this complaining here, if you really need to tunnel a survivor, slug them and track down the rescuer or earn the strike and keep tunnel the previous hooked one.

So as solo survivor i dont play without ds, cause im not interested in getting tunneled and it happens too often.

As killer if a survivor wants to bait me, i just slug them, cause sometimes its obvious they want to ds you. If i get ds, i usually think that i have earned that for beeing too greedy.

The old ds was op, but this one is fair and counterable.

    No tunnel = No Ds

tunnel + slug = No Ds

    simple isn't it?

I use DS as a survivor because yes, it helps prevent me getting tunneled out of the game before even one gen has popped.

But saying "No tunnel = No Ds" just isn't true. I don't tunnel as killer, but I can still get hit by DS because it doesn't deactivate after another survivor has been hooked. I'm not sitting around counting out 60 seconds every time someone gets off the hook. If I can get stabbed by DS after hooking two other survivors, that says the perk might be a little too powerful.

  • @Cardgrey said:

    @TragicSolitude

i don’t know about you but... I run infectious fright and if I feel the need to slug 2 over ds. I just go for the 4 man slug at that point.

I apologize, I'm a little confused. I talked about hooking two people, and when I went to hook a third I got DS'd. I said in that instance I wasn't thinking of DS or the need for slugging because, well, a lot had happened since that person got unhooked.

It's easy to slug to avoid DS when nothing much has happened since that person got unhooked, but when you've chased and hooked other survivors, it's not possible to keep track of "have 60 seconds passed" in your head.

  • @Cardgrey said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/92988/ds-is-dirty-perk

Why not just assume they all have it and slug it’s the same pressure

It's not always that simple. I hook two survivors, when I go after the third I don't think, "Oh, DS might still be in play," because how could it not have been sixty seconds since they came off the hook? I shouldn't have to have four little stopwatches sitting next to me while I play DbD.

If someone gets unhooked and immediately makes a nuisance of themselves, yeah, I slug them. But when the sequence of events gets more complicated, things become difficult.

Thank you for reading my whole post. I was worried it was too blocky.

Don't get too optimistic: I'm on of those weirdos who's good with reading comprehension. Don't know what the hell I'm doing posting on an internet forum, I must've gotten lost or something. ;)

I'm interested to see what'll happen with the whole disconnection thing once dedicated servers truly come online. Will we see a decrease in disconnects or will we see a lot more players getting banned? Will survivors disconnect less when they can't deny killers BBQ stacks or give the last survivor the hatch?

  • @UlvenDagoth said:

People DC for all kinds of reasons, and I can't say for Killer DCing cause I don't play survivor. But as Killer I have had people DC for being hit, DC for being downed, DC for being pulled from a locker, DC for me playing LEGION (and then tell me to kill myself in post game) DC so there friend could get hatch, DC all at once to depip me, DC cause I hooked them, DC cause another Survivor annoyed them, DC cause I found them while they healed, DC cause I used Mad Grit of all things, DC cause I used Fuming Mixtape (the reason was it was an Ultra Rare and all of those should be deleted) DC cause I out played them, DC cause I avoided getting pallet stunned, DC cause I won't farm, DC cause I downed them cause they tbagged too far from the edge of the exit gate.... and I could keep going.

People don't just DC cause some add-ons are broken or something like that. People DC cause there is no punishment for it.... they feel like they can do it as much as they like for whatever reason they want.

oh god, I had a match where this one survivor managed to avoid being hooked all game. I downed him after the exit gates were open, and I was gonna be nice and just carry him to the exit rather than hook him... but he disconnected before I could pick him up :(

Yeah, people touting "broken add-ons" as the reason survivors disconnect... nah, man. They do it cause they can. You're right about that.

    Where to begin...😲

First off, Pig? Really? One she can remove her teror radius at will and two she can kill you remotely with no counter.

You openly admit to hitting a freshly unhooked survivor.

A: You were close enough to the hook to see the rescue and/or not giving enough time for the survivor to heal. Borderline camping, IMO. 😡

B: You admit to slugging the poor survivor right after being unhooked and wearing a RBT! Don't you think they are going through enough at that moment? You Monster.

LASTLY you straight up Murdered one of them and Attempted Murder, at the very least, the other three!

I'd hate to know what addons you were running. If I could guess by everything else you've done, that Murder charge would be in the 1st degree easily.

lol nah, I always left the hook and gave them free unhooks. They were never freshly unhooked; it was usually a hook or two later, but still too soon to re-hook them, imo; I was trying to cycle through them as best I could. I don't think I ever bothered crouching; it's too hard to see over the grass.

I played without add-ons. My perks were Beast of Prey, Distressing, BBQ, and Whispers.

I did get a perfect game: 8k in every category. That was pretty awesome.

Thank you, your post made me laugh. It does worry me that might actually be how some survivors think, though. o_0

well, you see... you played killer........ therefore youre a tunneler :P

seriously though i dont get it either. i feel like half the time they just throw out "insults" they've heard of or gotten without knowing the meaning.

Yeah, I don't think they really understand the things they say or complain about. Complaining that I slugged them? The other choices were 1. hook them, or 2. let them go on their merry way despite them running right in front of me. If they're already calling me a tunneler, they must think I'm actually supposed to do the second one... all the facepalms in the world wouldn't fully express how I feel about that. You think they'd be happy I gave them a second chance at life and didn't just hook them, but no, that's not enough.

I have yet to be called a camper for chasing people around a hook, but I expect that's in my future at some point; I can't escape that fate forever. I have been accused of camping the gens, though, so there's that gem.

  • I do not understand survivors sometimes. I played as Pig last night. I didn't hook anyone twice in a row. I didn't purposefully go after anyone with an RBT. If I ran across someone who was recently unhooked, I'd just hit them once and leave them slugged. When the first survivor died, all four were dead on hook; no one was taken out early.

After the match, I got called a garbage killer for "tunneling and slugging." What the hell is the definition of tunneling in this circumstance?? I can't figure it out.

i'm glad you have said what you have said. i get what you mean it can bring bad luck. i have noticed this when i take good tool boxes. the better i take with me, the quicker i get hooked. i thought it was just my account that was cursed or something. i will take nothing or just brown items and have a much better game... strange. it's good to know somebody else thinks alike.

Definitely not just you. I see it happen to myself and others all the time.

If I take in an item, it's usually just a brown toolbox, to help me complete a gen repair or hook sabo Daily Ritual.

Oh, god forbid I find a Rainbow Map in a chest. That's an automatic "you're not getting out of this alive, kid."

  • @bomb1720 said:

thats because people like to partay! and go crazy! hahaha! seriously tho what do you mean? what do they do that is crazy? i don't even know how anybody has them left, same for the gruesome gataux.

I have a ton of BPS and Gateaux offerings. I never use them; they're bad luck. If I burn them as survivor, I die first with pretty much no points. If I burn them as killer, I get gen rushed like no one's business or I get held hostage. My worst games always happen when I use those things.

I don't seem to be the only one that's true for; I watch it happen to other people who burn those offerings. You can always tell which survivor burned the offering because the unlucky soul will somehow get tunneled out first.

They already punish camping, and I'm not sure if that's the main cause for DCs.

I almost never camp and avoid tunneling when I can and survivors still DC all the time. Just yesterday I had a survivor DC in the first minute because I hit them. No joke.

Get unhooked when the killer is near? DC.

    Get downed first? DC.

Get picked up by the killer when you have No Mither? DC.

    Survivors dying too fast? DC.

    Don't like the killer? DC.

Get grabbed off a gen? DC.

They should really compensate the other players when someone DCs (and killer should receive better compensation than they do now), except for SWF survivors on the same team as the DCer.

    Edit: Accidentally posted too early.

I had a survivor DC because I downed them with Plague... by M1'ing them twice. No vomit involved. wth? People will DC for anything.

Anyone who rage quits should have to wait 1 hour to queue again. 2nd offense 24 hour ban. 3rd 3 days. 4th 1 week. 5th permaban. go play something else because you cant handle losing. You should lose all your add ons, offerings too. Killers & survivors

Starting at one hour is ridiculous. The system can't judge "rage quit" vs someone who was forced to quit due to cheating, glitching, or being held hostage. Those things may not be super common but they do happen; you can't punish people for that. You have to start small, with like a 5 minute wait time after the first or second offense.

  • First time I tried for it, I got put on the Temple of Purgation map. Locker city. Tombstoned three survivors. The fourth jumped in a locker. I grabbed him out, carried him as far away as a I could, and got him back on his feet. He ran straight back in a locker. After twenty minutes, he disconnected rather than just come out of it.

Do survivors realize that all they're doing is passing the buck when they do that salty crap? The killer has to try again, which means another group of survivors will have to deal with that build. Why would you subject future survivors to that if you could prevent it? Why is it so important to deny killers Tombstoning you? It's a fun animation!

“There are always gonna be certain things about any game that not everyone is a fan of”

    • Of course

they can either live with it or find something else to play.”

    • they can also make change, not everyone is entitled to just “live with it.”

They can advocate for change, they can request a change, but until it happens, if it happens (because people requesting a change doesn't necessarily result in that change), they do have to live with it. If the way the game is is so awful, they can advocate for change and in the meantime play something else, but continuing to play and disconnecting because they don't like something isn't okay.

Things survivors DC on for a decent reason-

    Tunneling

    Camping

    Slugging

    Mori

    Prayer Bead Bracelet

    Iridescent Head

    Tombstone/ Infinite Tier 3/ Jump-scare Myers On Lery’s

    Brainless Teammates

Found First, But Doesn’t Wanna Be Found First (This is kinda dumb, but understandable)

Just Don’t Wanna Play Against That Particular Killer

Can’t Complete Gens Because Killer Has Ruin And PGTW (Very Frustrating)

Things Survivor Just randomly DC for-

    DeRanking

    Trolling

"Found First, But Doesn’t Wanna Be Found First"? That is not understandable. In 90% of my matches as survivor, I'm found first. Hell, I stopped equipping Deliverance because I'm always the first hooked. I've never disconnected for it.

"Decent" reasons to disconnect: victim of cheating, being held hostage, glitched, need to leave because of real life intruding on your game time. Maybe lag, but I usually just suicide on hook when the lag is suddenly atrocious.

Disconnecting is not a way to deal with not liking certain elements of the game. If someone dislikes so many things about the game, they shouldn't play. It's not cool for them to ruin the killer's and other survivors' fun. There are always gonna be certain things about any game that not everyone is a fan of; they can either live with it or find something else to play.

  • The Candyman is the titular main villain of the 1992 slasher horror film of the same name, loosely based on the short story "The Forbidden" from the anthology Books of Blood, written by Clive Barker. Daniel Robitaille was the son of a slave; he was an artist and was employed by a landowner named Heyward Sullivan. His talent was painting in which he painted a portrait of the landowner’s daughter Caroline Sullivan, whom he had fallen in love with.

  • There are times when it's agreed it's okay to camp, like after the exit gates are powered. So, then it becomes, "Well, it depends on the context." It's hard to specify that a gameplay mechanic is okay at certain times but not others. Reporting and banning for that becomes messy. "Does this count as an okay time to camp?" All that grey area.

Survivors can counter camping by rushing gens. They can also try to bait the killer and use Borrowed Time. It's not like camping is an automatic win for the killer.

  • ohmigod I got hate mail for "tunneling" tonight... I never even hooked anyone twice in a row. -_- Everyone was on death hook when I killed the first survivor. How is that tunneling? What weird definition of tunneling do survivors have??

(I did ask how I tunneled when I didn't hook anyone twice in a row. They didn't respond.)

I was rank 15 and they were rank 11. Nowhere near red ranks. Toxicity is colorblind.

  • Whoever has quicker queue times, really.

  • Nancy is wholesome; that's like the biggest requirement of being final girl. She helps protect the kids in Stranger Things.

Claudette's too nerdy. Nea's a criminal. Jane Romero is a celebrity, which is a death sentence. Feng Min would get killed being selfish, trying to look out for herself. Meg is the one who would volunteer to run to get help, which would get her killed. Kate's my fav girl, but the tattoos mean she's doomed. Laurie is the symbol of toxicity in this game for bringing in original DS.

I’ve gotten into hour long conversations with people, usually hate-mail but still.😂

    I’d like post-game chat tbh.

Yeah, when they send me messages, I open it up on my laptop so I can type out my replies and not go insane. I've had some long conversations. I've made friends with people who originally sent me salt lol.

Almost every single message I've gotten, for whatever reason, has been from a survivor. Killers almost never message me, and the few I've gotten have never been salt: it's either a pre-game request to farm or a post-game "gg" or something, never toxicity. Whether I play killer or survivor, it's usually only survivors who send messages.

  • @GrootDude said:

If console had post-game chat then I’d like eat my cookie!

I'm glad console doesn't have post-game chat, if for no other reason than typing a message on console is a pain in the butt lol.

  • Dedicated servers aren't actually online, yet; they're just being tested right now. As long as killers host the match, they can't be sure why disconnects happen, so they can't punish players for it. Once the dedicated servers are fully up and running, they'll be able to do something about the disconnects.

  • The Pig has crap map pressure. Her thing is being able to slow the game down with her RBTs, and those got nerfed when the End Game Collapse was introduced. If you're having trouble with skill checks, I assume you're pretty new to the game. Hitting good skill checks becomes second nature as you play survivor; I mean, it has to, it's what survivors do.

  • Ghostface can teabag. That makes him one of the best killers in the game. ;)

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/733216#Comment_733216

Yeah no that's one of the specific reasons why it would be a bad idea.

That is literally robbing a victory away from a killer and that is extremely aggravating.

It's like very bad killer getting two or three kills because they had no one escapes death however it's even worse as the game is still in play once the exit gates are powered.

The situation you described gives you a free escape and then they could do absolutely nothing to cancel that.

You dead hard them you could just run to the gate.

Even if they manage to predict the dead hard you have the decisive strike.

As I've said in my previous comment a situation like this would be akin to a killer grabbing you out of the exit animation and dragging you back through the exit Gates If You're injured or downed it's rare and it's not fun because it robs you of your Victory

    ^ This.

No survivor should be a one-man army. A single survivor should be weak without their team.

  • Ruin is a bit tiresome playing on PS4. I'm getting better at hitting those greats, but nowhere near perfect. It's difficult. Ruin really slows down poor to mediocre survivors and has little to no effect on good survivors, from what I can tell.

As killer, I don't use Ruin because it feels like it's always gone within like 30 seconds of the match starting, becoming a wasted perk slot. If you use Thrill of the Hunt to help protect it, now you're using two perk slots for one thing.

  • I reached purple during the Bloodhunt, the wait time for a match got instantly longer, so I got back down to the green ranks.

  • I would also accept the Wraith ripping out people's spines Predator-style. Like, the Entity made it so that he sees every survivor like they're the boss who unwittingly turned him into a murderer.

  • @Hozh said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/733153#Comment_733153

Again, you are just making killer + scenarios, the gates could have been opened by other survivors prior escaping, the hatch can be opened, pallets might be there, too many scenarios can be applied, there is always a chance, but as I said the BP bonus would make more sense instead of unhooking, atleast those 2K.

I think a BP bonus for being the last survivor is a good idea. A chance to escape the hook, no, but a BP bonus would be good; it's not fair on the last survivor that the game automatically takes away the chance for struggle points and gives nothing in return.

  • If I'm working on a gen with someone else and Ruin pops up, if they don't leave the gen then I do. It's not good for multiple survivors to work on one gen with Ruin active; it's better to split up.

  • @grtf47 said:

@TragicSolitude like I said, it’s a very rare situation right? If you report them they should get a warming and then perma ban. That’s what reporting is for. No need to change a mechanic in the game

It happens to me when I don't use Whispers. Since I use Whispers 99% of the time, I have to assume that the reason it doesn't happen more often is only because I use that perk, and I shouldn't be required to use a perk to prevent something that's against the rules from happening.

I have noticed there are survivors who I never see touch a gen; I find them only because I have Whispers so I know what area to scour relentlessly, some area in the corner of the map far from an unfinished generator. That's disconcerting. That's one of the reasons I keep Whispers equipped. But again, I shouldn't have to equip a perk to prevent others from breaking the rules.

  • @grtf47 said:

I disagree that anything should be done. You should be able to find the survivors. They may be noobs and are looking for chests or totems. If they are doing it on purpose, report them but this is a very rare occasion and doesn't call for any changes that need to be implemented for this type of situation. What if survivors aren’t hiding on purpose to waste time and their auora gets revealed. That would be unfair fair same with the Egc starting.

If they're noobs they generally can't hide that well and will get found. Experienced survivors can hide around the map, avoiding the killer indefinitely. If they're not touching generators, they could be anywhere. We're not talking about them not doing the objective for a few minutes; we're talking about extended periods of time. Multiple survivors doing nothing but hiding for ten, twenty, or even more minutes is not okay. Being able to report people doesn't stop it from happening, and killers shouldn't be forced to disconnect and lose all their points or keep searching in these ridiculous situations.

  • euw, that's terrible. Poor Plague needs her hair.

Reason why I postd this its because it has happened to me, they go for a walk or make a distance, if I escape I could loop or make enough time to earn more BP, 3 escape attempts dont even take 10 seconds

The point Weck was making was that if you could escape, the killer would not leave. The killer only walks away because you can't attempt to escape the hook. If you could attempt to escape or use Deliverance, the killer would stand there staring at you until you entered second state.

I walk away to look for the hatch to close or pallets to break because I know the survivor can't escape and is guaranteed to die. I wouldn't do that otherwise.

  • I think it would be good to have support for hearing-impaired players in the game. An option that can be turned on or off that would add extra icons to the HUD to represent things normally indicated only by sound: the killer's TR, the Spirit's phase noise, the Huntress's lullaby, Wraith's bing bong.

Are skill checks a problem for you? Or are you used to them popping up without a warning?

  • Even as survivor, I'd like moris to be actually secret. They'd be more fun as a surprise.

I mean, I think the animations are so much better than seeing myself die on the hook. Some moris are better than others; I wish they'd update older ones or at least put new ones in the store that killers could purchase with shards. Something.

I have a lot of time in this game, I’m very familiar with the systems and everything but honestly it’s baffling to me this can still happen in games despite all the newer changes to prevent it (Hatch close, EGC etc) so I’m just casually playing some Spirit for my daily and the match is going as normal, I saw at the start I was against two Nancy’s, a Steve & a David. Now by the time Steve and David are both Dead I’ve seen one Nancy one time and that’s it even despite looking on BBQ, pretty weird but I figured they were using lockers to hide auras and being really sneaky while doing gens. Well by the time it’s just the two Nancy’s there are still 2 gens left undone and I’m looking all over the map (Red forest btw) for almost 20 minutes, nothing. Not a single spotting or notification went off the whole time and I couldn’t trigger EGC cause gens still had to be done but none were even being tapped, at this point I went to get some food and figured I’d let them escape while I'm AFK, came back another 20 minutes later and the games still going, still 2 gens left undone. #########. At this point I go through literally every inch of the map too to bottom, every corner, every Bush, every locker until FINALLY I see what they were doing. They had been in my basement the entire time walking around enough to avoid crows and hiding in lockers to avoid BBQ reveals or when I came near. I had looked real quick a few times earlier and seen nobody and moved on. But seriously this was the stupidest thing I’d ever seen, doing nothing but purposefully stalling out as long as possible until I found them or quit, after the game I went to message them why they acted this way and all I got was “Maybe you shouldn’t play Spirit next time” and then they blocked me so I couldn’t reply or see their accounts anymore after the match. Absolutely ridiculous, I wish I had written their names down before being blocked but I wasn’t thinking about it at the moment.

I had something really similar happen on the Red Forest map back during the Anniversary event. Last two survivors left. I was playing Ghostface (in the middle of prestiging him so he didn't even have Whispers, yet). For something like twenty minutes, the final two didn't so much as tap a gen. I finally found them together crouching around the edge of the map. I was pissed. I'd burned a Gruesome Gateau, and them trying to force me to disconnect so they could profit from my offering while I got nothing... I usually don't care about the 4k, but I made sure they both died.

If you have the chance to be revived, you can wait. If you don't think the other person will save you, you can let yourself die.

In another thread someone suggested a "concede" option, where you can concede after being in the dying state for 60 seconds. It'll leave your husk there to finish bleeding out, but it'll let the player get their points and move on rather than having to be stuck there doing nothing. I liked that idea, 'cause it doesn't take anything away from the killer, but it would let me the survivor go on to another match so I can get back to earning Bloodpoints.

  • I use it to track when I can. The other day I was playing as Leatherface on Coldwind, happened to notice some blood on the ground (I was quite pleased with myself about that; blood blends pretty well on that brown dirt), walked around the haystack and found an injured survivor crouching on the other side.

I used to use Bloodhound all the time when I first started playing. Still do, occasionally; it makes it nearly impossible to lose an injured survivor.

Fair enough. What would Predator's perks even be? He excels at tracking... as does Wraith, which is why Wraith has tracking perks.

Good point then the predator wouldn't fit because he mainly use's guns as far as perks I'm totally drawing a blank

Mainly uses guns, but in AvP there are some staff weapons. The one it hands the final girl is made of, iirc, a xenomorph's tail. But yeah, I don't have any ideas about perks.

Yep that's true I forgot about those Wristblades too,his perks would probably revolve around sensory and speed maybe?

@kate_best_girl it could be argued that the Demogorgon is a Sci-fi monster to because he Lives in a different dimension which is very Sci-fi and not paranormal or very slasher but I can understand if you don't like the idea of that kind of monster

And that's where it ended, 'cause I couldn't think of any sensory/speed perks. Speed perks are hard in terms of balance, especially when added on top of other speed-enhancing perks, 'cause they'd have to not make any already fast killer too fast.

  • But at least I'm doing something and making points, not sitting around doing nothing wasting time. Even if they kill me, at least the game will end. And them knowing my general area isn't a death sentence; I still have a chance to open a door.

Has anyone even heard of Cube?

The Cube is great. The sequel and prequel, not so much.

As Survivor the doors need to be far apart, but as Killer closer please XD. and standoffs are still somewhat of a thing still.

I had a 30 mins standoff with ghostface who was in night shrout standing on the hatch and I knew he was there so I when to the door. (We were on the GAME) for 30 minutes I waited for him to close the hatch :/

When I see a killer camping the hatch, I go work on gens. They'll usually close the hatch after the first gen pops.

  • The only way to stop killers camping would be if killers couldn't camp; in other words, if they didn't know where the helpless survivor was. Otherwise, it will always be a way to either 1. ensure a survivor's death, or 2. bring another survivor to you. Attempting to punish killers for camping will not stop it from happening, and people will just call for worse and worse punishments that will hurt players who aren't even trying to camp someone to death but are just playing the game.

It would make it so much easier if it didn’t have to take up a perk slot

If you're not SWF and someone doesn't have Kindred equipped, the entire team suffers for it. It's kinda ridiculous.

Hell, even as killer, I want survivors to be rescued. That way I can get points for hooking them again. No one should die by accident on their first hook.
