I don't even know what this sentence is supposed to mean.
No surprise.

I assume you aswell have reached max mmr and can confirm this without any further discussion?
I assume noone here on this forum even knows which MMR he/she is at. Also makes no difference.

Getting a 2k doesnt need any sweat.

Sorry for what exactly? Playing the game?
I'm pretty sure the killers who 4ks and "BM'ed" you don't feel sorry, so why should you?
Maybe some people still have some kind of sanity?

Those comparisons are not even close to the same thing. Standard Killer complaints involve things that are just being a terrible person to get a negative response (Teabagging, flashlight clicking, bully squads). Standard Survivor complaints are camping, tunneling, and slugging which are actual game objectives.
So we just completely ignore that survivors action have no influence on gameplay, while killer actions are heavily influencing gameplay of one particular or more persons who are not at fault?
-
Nah. The game has to get rid of these "valid strategies". Its just annoying as hell and isnt needed in any way.
-
@Rizzo said:
Grades are not used for matchmaking, the system is based on a hidden MMR.
The issue is to get a mediocre MMR if you start playing for the first time. Thats always a complete dismatch. Whats the point in getting killers to go against with 1k hours in your second match ever? Or having teammates with the same amount of playtime against newly started killers?
-
So why being salty and residing to salty gameplay instead of taking your loss? there are so many people that cant take a loss, its incredible.

I genuinely believe that people that think playing killer isn't miserable haven't played enough killer
Play 100 games of killer and record the kills and escape rate
Then play 100 games of solo survivor and record your deaths and escape rates
Some people would be shocked at the numbers you come up with
So what should that prove? People like you would just tell me that the survivors were bad, i was lucky with maps or whatever excuse they can think off. I played Trapper the last years and my games were mostly wins. Does this mean Trapper is OP? Does this mean survivors are bad? I can tell you that on a casual level there is no issue playing killer at all. And dont tell me about high MMR or Deathsquads. Thats just some edgecases 99% of the playerbase never ever encounters.

For every one streamer you can link me that got a 4k or 3k I can link you at least 5 streamers that got 1k or 2k don't be so naive
When someone that has 8000 hours in this game gets 3-4 games in a row where they struggle hard
Then how tf is someone that plays causally supposed to win against squads like that
Believe it or not but most people don't have the time to put thousands of hours into this game
So just because there are by far more people that are bad at this game means playing as killer needs camping for kills? I know players with above 10k hours as killer mains struggling every game cause theyre bad but they still think its the games fault. Its so hilarious.
-
While trying to learn Nurse i wouldnt recommend any addons that meddle with blink range as it only screws up your perception on blinks. Recharge addons are always the best. The thing is you have to get through this short blink dilemma. there is no way around it. Just commit to chases like that until you get the hang of it. try to look out for the best spots at objects to get a hit in and chase them the way you need it. leaving chases doesnt do anything for you to get better.
-
So the issue would be that the matchmaking doesnt pair you with players on your skill level and NOT that playing killer is miserable (cause thats not true).
-
Killer players would just abuse this. Instead they need to do something about the cheaters not being able to play.
-
Learn to play killer. Its not that hard, but you have to want to get better.
-
Can you guys stop telling others that camping and tunneling are needed to play the game as killer? Thats soo far away from the truth and every second thread someone is shouting out this nonsense. Neither of this is necessary to have a good game as killer. Its so damn frustrating to see new players acknowledging as a given and playing like jerks. As survivor there is nothing more frustrating than having to play against people like that. Its a damn game, so behave like that and dont make it even worse with your nonsense.

I love how people always Say ######### like this as if others don't watch others and streamers struggle to squeeze out a kill or 2 all the time
All the games you see on YouTube of people stomping survivors is hand picked they probably had 10 games right before that one were they got stomped
Maybe watch some Streamers that know how to play the game? I know many Streamers that dont have any issues getting their wins on a frequent basis, which just doesnt mean that they 4k all the time. dont know what people you follow, but theyre probably not the smartest.

So it would have been less greedy to go for another hit instead of as humble as I am, going to pick up my earned down?
If you know there is someone with a flashlight that mostly means free hits, cause theyre running towards you. Just bait the pickup and smack them. If they start a second try down them, if not easy pickup. Basic killer strategy.
-
Would be a great fix for the most frustration in the game.
-
Any proof for this? I guess not.
-
You can pretty fine get 4ks without camping at all.
-
The game isnt balanced around fun at the slightest.

If anything, it is proof that flashlights can get angles even when looking at a wall, which is in my opinion an issue. I'm not too mad about it either though, it's a small thing really, but it's kinda bad.
There is totally no issue. You just made serious mistakes here. You obviously didnt know about Shadowborne having an effect on flashlight angles. You did pick them up at a spot where you gave them space to try a save (i guess they could have even tried to flashlight you through that little gap in the wall). You greeded to pick him up instead of being cautious and smacking that survivor.
-
Sure, just ignore that your "legitimate strategies" are the reason this game is so frustrating to play.
-
Vaults still have no hit validation, thats why this bullshit still happens regularly.
-
To be honest, thats well deserved if you think tunneling is fine.
-
So basically no perk at all works on good survivors?
-
Why not? Ive already seen Blights hitting pallets while survivors were hugging the wall without DH. Doesnt seem that strange at all.

They really do. More then you seem to realize. Nor is that the point
The BT body blocker is willingly impeding YOUR progression. You're supposed to just take the loss of time and let the person go because it's "tunneling" ? Hell no
You do understand that the unhooker will have less distance to you than the BT dude you have hit, right? Yeah, or just be an clown and run after the unhooked who just played his cards well.
-
@BrokenSouI said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2711604#Comment_2711604
Because you have to HIT them...Which causes your attack cool down. Meaning the person you want to go after gains a lot of distance.
I throw the rest of the game to chase the ######### who are body blocking if I have to
The unhooker doesnt get that much distance cause he doesnt get a sprintboost if you hit the BT dude first.
-
How about hitting the BT dude and going after the unhooker? Whats the issue? BT is supposed to ensure no direct hook trade if played properly. Stop complaining about every perk survivors use.

People like you are what piss me off more than anything. You literally have no idea and didn't even bother to read what I said clearly. I said I have nearly 800 hours TOTAL mixed with both survivor playing SWF/Solo queing and killer. L2 read or don't post, it's that simple. Until you learn to read your opinion isn't and will never be valid.
So i obviously hit the spot. And sure ive no idea after playing this game for 4 years straight. People like you are the problem of DbD, cause they think they know everything and come to hilarious conclusions without thinking it threw once.
-
What players were this? In my region none of those veteran killer mains quit the job. I guess you had quite the whiny killers there.
-
So why is it less stressfull if the outcome is exactly the same? That would mean you perform better with DH than without. Suspicious.

For the last time: IT'S NOT FLIP FLOP THATS OP! It's Boil Over that's the real problem.
If any of this is a issue for killers, i guess the game is done for. LUL

Lol.
The survivor doesn't even need to see the killer to react to the swing. He can HEAR the swing and then DH. It's consistently a hit dodged.
Thats totally wrong. By the time you hear the swing, DH wont make it in time anymore due to its animation delay and the audio delay.
-
800 hours of being a killer main, and basically no gamesense. No problem, there are even people with thousands of hours as killer main and still having no gamesense. But i would hope you would at least try to understand the game mechanics properly.
-
Maybe youre just a bad Pinhead player? Ah I forgot, its never the players fault, always the character xD
-
Pinky Fingers shoudnt exist with machinegun bottles.
-
Thats because the hitbox of the crows is bigger than the actual crow looks like. Dont know why, buts thats how it is. And to all those who say clean hit: whats wrong with you?
-
Killers mentality.
-
I still dont think such a team exists, bro. Its just a top-down decision making at BHVR, bro.
-
What does a SWF change if your friends are still bad players like the randoms youve got? Right, it doesnt change a thing. People always keep yelling SWF is OP, but its not, cause those are basically the same players like in solo que. Being in a group doesnt make them better players. I sometimes play SWF with some friends even though i know that theyre not on my level, but i dont care, cause i play this game out of social reasons. Wanna hang around in a game with them. Thats what most SWF are all about. My escape chances in those SWFs arent better then in soloQ.

Wrong.
I'm pretty sure a supernatural killer could drag someone away while you patting them on the back. Plus, it prevents BS like downing someone at the exit gates, only for a Survivor to completely overrule a Killer's actions, thus denying them the kill.
In no way should a Survivor healing a Survivor trump a Killer picking a Survivor up. Ever.
A killer pickung up should never be trumping another survivor whos able to bodyblock.
-
@HaunterofShadows said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2705002#Comment_2705002
So you can help by body-blocking the killer. But somebody lying on the ground should not give the survivor healing them priority over a killer picking them up especially since unless you have specific perks you could have just started the healing process. You know what's unreal? A supernatural killer with it's strength increased by a supernatural near-god can't pick up a human that they dwarf in size, strength, and speed, off the ground when someone, who the killer also dwarfs in size, strength, and speed is rubbing their back. That's what's unreal.
So whats your point? In every case, logic-wise, the killer shoudlnt have priority on pickung up while a survivor could bodyblock.

But they aren't aiding his team mate are they tho? They are purposely abusing a mechanic that's been in the game forever
Theyre saving their mate. Lets be honest: by logic it would be far more unreal to be not able to help in this situation at all.
-
Yeah makes totally no sense that another survivor can aid his teammate. Totally not possible at all. Sigh.
-
If they get a 16s animation that resets if you stop, no problem.
-
I always laugh at players using NOED. It signalizes "I know I am bad, but hey at least I can run a gamechanger and punish survivors for doing their objective pretty well, while I did really bad; without any requirements i have to achieve, and no downsides". NOED is the most bullshit perk that exists on killer side, aside from Insidious.
-
Yeah open maps are soo bad esp. for ranged killers. Sigh.
