How long to Rifts usually last?
-
I caved and bought 3 new killers. So while I was going to p3 Bubble Butt, it makes more sense to just level those 3 instead.
I only joined about a week ago and already have 4 killers level 50, though. So the grind has been giving me a very nice chance to make sure my killers have some of the ideal perks.
-
He is alright, I guess... Probably not in my top 10, however. I would still be down.

That is true, you very rarely see Feddy's now. But i play him all the time so at least some see him.
Indeed, I see Freddy all the time... When I pick him.
-
They try to bully me as a new player, but the joke is on them, I like it when they swarm me! It is those stealthy gen rushers that make the game feel kind of unfun for me. Mostly just when they use 3 or 4 cakes and then leave before I get any meaningful BP. If they do that without cakes, I am glad to find a different lobby afterwards. No complaints here.
-
It took me 12 levels to get my first cake as Ghostface. And I am scared to use them because I suck at him. I almost want to save them until I learn how to play better. Lul
-
As far as I have gathered, most people liked playing as and against the old Billy. No idea why they changed him as I wasn't around, but the vibe I get was that it wasn't very justified.

I'm a very altruistic player, I love doing Altruistic plays (which is why Yun-Jin is currently the only survivor I don't own and don't plan to) so I'm hoping the next survivor also has a perk (or multiple) that could be used for altruism.
I don't know how unlikely it'd be, but I kind of want the next survivor to be a fire fighter who's perks revolve around getting others and themselves out of dire situations (like for example, a perk which allows them to carry a downed survivor both allowing the carried survivor to recover and get off, while slowing the rescuer slightly)
Don't care about killer, likely not gonna play them anyway. Only really play killers to learn how to survive better.
You don't care about having fun killers to play against? Personally I prefer that when I am on survivor. But I play survivor VERY casually. I am the teammate everyone fears having on their squad.

Oh you poor thing. That's not the tryhard build. That used to be the tryhard build. The current tryhard build is Corrupt, Ruin, Pop, and some other 4th perk (BBQ because even bloodpoints).
I do not like pop with Ruin because kicking the gen is too difficult unless they were JUST on it. I kind of run Ruin specifically so I don't have to kick gens anyway.

The fact that you actually believe that any half-decent killer would chase you for more than a minute is astounding.
With enough dunks and flashlight clicks, anything is possible.
-
I guess? It happens more than I feel it should, but not as often as I feel like people make it out to be. I do not personally mind when I am on killer because, well, you know... Its free.

I didnt say they should lower Killer's BP. I said improve Survivor's BP
I feel like Killer BP is still lame. The games grind is one of the craziest I have ever seen. The solutions need to be systematic changes, not a slight buff to survivors, in my opinion.
-
Isn't the ban system automated in this game? This kind of stuff always happens in games where they ignore the appeals.
-
I feel like she is almost overrated. The trap timer is way too long relative to how fast they can remove it. Her "slowdown" is negligible.

It's not certain what features of the ptb will make it to the live version.
Probably a good idea to get your last games in as her regardless.
-
This post has like an identity crisis. You already know the answer but just enjoy the taste of sand, huh? If they want a kill, they are not about to go for the unhooker, fam. Sorry, that would just be more stupid than the teammates you get. Lol.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if they actually found it hilarious, but it is really best to just ignore them, fam. Would you get offended if someone irl started bagging and clicking a flashlight? Nah. You would laugh at them, not with them. Do the same here and save yourself the effort.
-
He is my go to when the challenge wants kills. Let's just say that. Winky face!
-
Sometimes I let people go and I can tell the survivors are always on edge as though I will betray them. It is like, I committed this hard to letting you escape, I am not about to change my mind.

i've played for nearly 400 hours, killer main, i don't have ruin yet. Idk hexes just feel very unreliable so im not that tempted to try and get it yet.
You can say that again. Those games when you lose it in the first minute and all there is to do is cry... and wish you brought a more stable perk.
But those games where it lasts the entire duration? Easy MONAYY!
-
I don't mind gen speeds. But if there is only like one gen left and I did basically nothing, camping the hook is basically my only viable option outside of surrender. Rofl.

I'm a red rank killer that's gone all the way down to rank 16 helping people. It's funny too since people think I'm a low rank killer if they're rude I can destroy them so the group can have fun.
Best moment was when all the survivors were teabagging a 4th rude survivor as he died on hook.
You can go back to 16? Someone told me once you hit 15, you can't derank back.
Also, I love your username. Lit.

If killers would know if they are going against a SWF or not then nobody would play against a SWF.
Yeah, I suppose that is a problem. Personally, after coming from Overwatch myself, I would eat SWF groups to avoid queue times because I have ptsd from being forced to watch an episode of something while waiting for my freaking game.
-
It reminds me of my cousin... Uncanny. Anyways, I propose we revert it so that Freddy goes back to having a sexier face.
-
Yeah, every game I go to check my totem just to see if I will have it for the rest of the game and at least half the time, I assume we are going to have a very vanilla match.
-
There are people who aren't running Ruin?!

Hey, if we are talking about making useless perks viable lets get some survivor ones too! Buckle Up, Flip Flop, No Mither, Open Handed, Slippery Meat, This Is Not Happening, Wake Up and Up the Ante are all perks off the top of my head that are essentially useless and will never be brought by someone other than a new player/memer
I was about to defend slippery meat, and then I realized I am both new and a memer...
-
The only time I played against a Freddy was on Lery's. Thankfully they never give it to me while I play him.
-
His add ons are already pretty meh. That is a big reason I love playing him, I do not feel the need to bring any.

I'm a terrible team mate too. I have accidentally caused some deaths that may or may not have been avoidable--
Really hard to tell though, especially since recently killers are less predictable to me. What powers would you say aren't fun? Freddy's power if you ask me, I might just be using it wrong. Thank you for writing!
Ha ha ha... The irony is that I am a Freddy main. Maybe fun is a stretch, but I hate walking, so you know... Those teleports are pog. And even better is when you fake the teleport and they walk into you for some free hits.
I love him because I am new, and yet, Freddy makes me feel like I do not have 5 years of catching up to do. I do not know what loops are good or bad. So just toss down a snare and now they are all bad... For them. Can't find anyone in a minute? Well, now they are all asleep and you get 100 BP for it. Amazing!
Trapper is the one I find unfun. Accidentally trap myself more than any survivor. Lol.
-
Keep playing, especially if you are actually getting people who use cakes, and use those bonus bloodpoints you otherwise would not have gotten to keep grabbing cakes as Nemesis. Only don't use your cakes. Save them so that you have easy double bloodpoints to level a future killer faster!
Nah, if you aren't having fun, best to just chill. This event is basically only for log ins, which are already done, and bloodpoints.
-
Yeah, I had a full SWF in Lery's and they were trying to troll me by finishing the gen in the center room right in front of me. I literally had to pull them off one by one and the last one wanted to pick them up, but, well, she was the only one to chase. And then the last slug hid from me so I couldn't hook them and end the game faster. It was absolutely one of the stranger matches I have ever had.
-
@Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:
Because people are already getting like 400-500% extra bloodpoints every match for the anniversary anyway?
Not me, all the cakes dried up. I am lucky to see 2.
-
I never take it easy on them as that would get in the way of my fun... Until end game. I don't mind being a consolation sacrifice for them. I am never toxic though. The golden rule, treat people the way you want to be treated and all that jazz.
-
Barbecue and Chili is an amazing perk even without the BP gain. But realistically, I would go for something a little more personalized without the BP. I already use Ruin and NOED as crutches. Might as well just run a full hex build because lol.
-
I am having fun chasing people down, breaking pallets, getting hooks, sacrificing survivors is pretty nice too. Using my power depending on the killer...
You know. Just playing the game.
As survivor... I am a horrible teammate. I just want to cleanse a totem or two, do a gen or two... Open chests. Get an unhook. It always feels great to win a chase. Escaping is kind of irrelevant.
I kind of just do a little bit of everything and that is why the game is fun for me, I guess. I just generally don't like getting tunneled, obviously. So I try not to do that as a killer even if that is quite clearly what's optimal.
-
I do not mind SWF, but I feel I should know it going into the match, so I can better prepare. They are MUCH harder to deal with than solos. I never bring add ons or offerings besides the cake or some bronze ones just to fill space. If I knew I was going against SWF, maybe my items would finally see the light of day.
As for keys? Eh. They are annoying, but whatever. I do not count those as losses myself. Those are more like no contest matches in my book.
-
I honestly do not care too much, a hit is a hit and I can still chase the other person if I so desire. But usually it is easier to find the person who body blocked for obvious reasons.
-
Well, a tier list for ladder would still be helpful for the majority of people which is kind of the point. Top level players don't need tier lists. Like, yeah, I could beat bad survivors with Freddy OR Trapper. But one of those is way less ideal than the other. And really, I want to know which killers to play against good survivors relative to my skill level.
Tier lists aren't great for that, but they are a decent start for anyone learning.
-
There is more to do as a killer, and I am higher ranked as them, so the games are generally more difficult, I guess?
Survivor is relaxing for me because I am not really playing to do anything but search for treasure. Lol.
-
Is it bad that I liked the old Quentin? This change just hurts, seeing my disfigured baby becoming something that he isn't to impress his friends breaks my heart.
-
I mean, I get teabagging and flashlight clicks as any killer.
-
Yeah, they shouldn't be THAT rare of achievements. Heck, I wouldn't mind an alternative for both sides based on a certain bloodpoint amount.
-
Tunneling is easily the most consistent win condition. Surprised people that are higher ranked don't do it. What do they do instead?
-
I prefer survivors run Dead Hard because at least it is interactive. People act like Decisive Strike was gutted, but I can only imagine the horror of that perk before if this is the "useless" version.
-
I vaguely regret some of my purchases too. But more because I didn't realize how bad I would be at them.
I hate playing games and getting rolled because I didn't pick Freddy. At least they are still really cool characters.
-
I ran into a few playing as survivor. Mostly him and Trickster. I am very low ranked as a survivor though, so my experience is probably really different than the norm.

Boy i have bad news for you if you think a 3v1 is just a 'slight' advantage to the killer
It really depends. The map, killer, and gens already done can shift it either way. Generally if someone DC's at the beginning, I do feel it is a guaranteed win for killer. But generally some generators are done by the time someone is gone from the game.

8 hours? this is a casual game and some of us have lives lol
To be fair, his rate seems really off. You can easily get 100 to 200k a game if 3 to 5 cakes are in play. As killer, anyways, which is what you should be playing if you are grinding bloodpoints.
Obviously you need to account for those games with only 1 to 2 cakes in play, or 3 to 4 and they gen rush you. But 8 hours is WAY overboard.

Um yeah. What does that have to do with NOED lol.
Oh, I use NOED all the time. I have it on every killer that I leveled. Everything you were saying about that guy applies to me too. Only I don't even bother with the basement when I Bubba. We do it out in the open!
