  • Oh, no! Now survivors will reveal me! That has never happened off cooldown before. I am so scared of their long style resolution.

Pallet camping? holding W? Can survivors do anything that doesn't tilt the killer?

I do not mind if they want to camp the pallet. We should get a trade to punish their poor decision. Or, well, formerly poor decision. I guess nowadays it is the big brain strategy.

  • I mean, congratulations? Glad it only took 2 second chances. If they tunneled harder, it might have required DS too. Lucky that didn't happen.

I play Nemesis so it has no affect on me, so, pretty wonderful addition.

I am surprised people didn't bump Nemesis up on their tier lists specifically because of this change. They will soon learn, it just takes a little extra time. Ha ha ha...

  • Survivor validation? Yeah, I think it is great and promotes camping pallets which is really the most compelling gameplay. I love how servers always decide the blood on my face was fake and how I rarely benefit from this change as a survivor because I am not gambling on whether the server prefers me by standing there like a doof. But thankfully when I can't quite make it to the pallet... It doesn't matter and I get rewarded for it. Top tier design.

  • I want to kill YOU for wasting my time. The first one to break the stand off lives to reward faster stand off breaks.

  • They passively balance and bug fix. I think boon totems are probably next.

  • The biggest flaw is that it is nearly useless if they do not bring flashlights.

  • I love popping two gens at nearly the same time solo. It gives me a pride and accomplishment.

  • It depends on what you use it for, I guess? On mobility killers? Tracking. On mostly everyone else? Stealth. On Pyramid Head? Both.

  • I have no problem with them refusing to do their optional objective. I even prefer it. The survivors I fear are the ones who want to play the game. The genrushers are ez. One way or the other. Either they suck, or they end the game in 4 minutes. Lol.

  • I kind of actually want more pallets, but less super safe pallets. I have been getting into that enduring, brutal strength life recently and wish I could Miley Cyrus more wood.

  • I thought the first part was really well done and absolutely agree. The killer variety at high levels is a balance issue, however, it has nothing to do with mmr. I wish more survivors would advocate for killer buffs since it is mostly their concern. But whatever, they reap what they sow. Nobody cares.

As for builds? That is basically the main point of mmr.

Definetly not. The only reason the Pig ever caught me was NOED. I managed to literally save my self in the middle of the corn field. At least make the exposed effect appear as soon as the last gen is done. This way survivors would play much safer and reduce NOED's fatality.

I thought the problem was that you died. You just mad that they downed you? Rofl. And they call me petty!

Why are you getting offended by flashlight clicks and T-bags? It’s just a game dude.

I am entitled to be offended by what I want to be offended by, if you point that clicker anywhere near my face, there will be hell to pay. I will low-key throw the game just to stop them from enjoying their experience. And when they get mad that I tunneled, camped, slugged, teabagged, and beat them on hook, I will be sure to inform them it was just a game, tee hee.

Sorry, I don't speak entilted one sided role player language who are bad at mikro and makro gameplay. I can't translate but maybe if you'll learn you'll understand one day. Or not.

It doesn't really matter to me too much because if they are desperate for it, you can play around that fact. The only time I can't is on those weird balanced, dance with me (I think?), loops. Bamboozzle still wouldn't help because I have no idea where they went and they don't exactly need to revault. That is why I do not run it. And if I ever do run it, it will specifically be to combine the vault speed with fire up. Not for the block.

They changed their name before I could back out/dodge

Oh, like when it locks up and you can't do anything, even readying up, to save a few seconds?

  • I mean... I have been 360'd 5 times in a row and still managed to 4k everyone while going for 2 hooks each before killing anyone. That has nothing to do with my skill as a player, it really is more of a testament to how good that David was at spinning, if you ask me. Lol. I am biased, though.

I know better then to argue with you, cause I've seen you don't listen well

I appreciate the compliment- really, I do. But I do listen, actually, and change my point of view on things, but only when the people I'm talking to have a point :)

he moral of the post is. No matter how badly your getting whooped as survivor, even it's you losing to a moron running perks that aren't doing anything most the match. Keys will save the day always. It's not fun to be "outplayed" by an item while your across the map looking for survivors.

Now, this is a statement I can agree with. Didn't see this one originally because your original post said you were "[letting] them run away" and I assumed you meant you were giving them more chances and/or farming after a few deaths, after which a key escape doesn't mean much.

Isn't it much easier when people can actually talk to each other and not resort to petty insults within the first 15 words?

Oh, at first I was like... So you don't think keys are a get out of jail free card?

I do not even mind them as much as most killers do. But they are definitely ez escapes. I was getting WRECKED by a Deathslinger who was playing nice and 2 hooking everyone. I looted a purple key (didn't even realize these instantly opened hatch) and that was the ONLY way I was ever getting out of that one. Lol.

If two or more survivors have flashlights, that means that I’m absolutely #########. I play solo queue, so they are going to be flashlight bullies and the killer is going to kill me because I’m not blinding them.

Bills are generally brave and altruistic.

Feng Mins will dc or suicide on hook if the killer sneezes near them.

Players who say “I have plunderer’s” in starting chat will let you die on hook while they look for chests.

Claudettes are either altruistic or hiding in lockers only second to Dwight with no in-between.

Megs are the worst for BMing killers.

Bubbas have two moves: slug and camp.

Huntresses are the second worst campers next to Bubba.

The fancier the Wraith skin, the more likely then run NOED.

Trickster players are either ######### with their knives or laser accurate with little in between.

For me? I only kill the flashlight betas, everyone else is free to go. I need a little more personal time with them anyways, I wouldn't really have time to kill everyone in the lobby. If there are 3, I play super sweaty, tunnel them out without enjoying some good hook beating or teabags and give the one normal person the escape.

Swear to god, if I ever walk up to a gate and see Survivors fortnite dancing...

Twerking is not weird enough? You can literally twerk into dab hard while the others click to give the performance a nice visual effect. I do not think it would be THAT much of a stretch to allow breakdancing.

  • If you get paranoid with hackers, why did you play the game when they revealed themselves as hackers before the game started? You could have just dodged them.

    As Killer

I like this perk. As Killer you tend to be not very patient and Bamboozzle shortens some loops or whole chases by alot. It can make the process of killing more efficient and as a Killer especially as a killer whos not that good like me it's nice to have it helping out.

    As Survivor

It's not the worst perk to go against but kinda unfun because it takes away the whole mindgame/mikro gameplay. Usually a good chase is based on deep game knowledge, experience and mindgames. And it takes away the mindgames and lots of game knowledge bc it makes certain things obsolete to think about. And that's always bad if things start to become braindead actions.

My personal statement? I don't care. There are so much other things that are THE worse of all problems. And Bamboozzle is very far down the list so I don't bother for now.

Oh, yeah, the mind game of whether a survivor is going to abuse a window or not, always tricks me 100% of the time. I literally never see that one coming.

  • All I can say is developers who are soft on balance don't usually magically change to accommodate big updates in their game.

They are either balance heavy or not. So, you know, I am not holding my breath.

  • @brokedownpalace said:

It's amazing how anyone can make a lazy post like this that says absolutely nothing new or interesting and it gets comment after comment.

Survivor mains REALLY hate NOED. And it baffles so many reasonable people because it is more or less the only perk in the game that you can actively prepare for and the game rewards you for it.

I see this attitude in a lot of other pvp games, people cry because they are unwilling to adapt. People tell them the counterplay. They say that counterplay doesn't matter because the design is bad. People say the design doesn't matter because you can avoid it. They say the counterplay is the strength of the tactic. They counter by saying the counterplay is easy. Neither side cares what the other is saying, so they repeat the same nonsense circularly.

That is a lot of steps for individuals to go through in the discussion and that is not even getting into the tangent of whether it is "deserved."

  • Basement Bubba without the camping might as well not be Basement Bubba at all.

But yeah, keys and disconnects are the death of all challenges.

  • I actually prefer to have a higher mmr with survivor to hopefully get better teammates. But that ain't happening because I am bad, so I just need to hope the killers are just as bad.

  • I think most strong vaults are near other vaults making the perk utterly pointless on anyone without an instant down.

  • I want one where Nemesis screams "STARS!"

Kind of stupid that I need to snatch a Jill or Chis out of a locker like a weave to proc is iconic voiceline.

Oh, and one where Pyramid Head has fun with a mannequin because, well, you know. It would be awesome.

I don't get the point of sbmm? I mean we know Nurse, Spirit, Blight will be played by killers that only wants to go against the best survivors all the time. The rest will play whatever killer they play now.

I might play more Nurse and potentially buy Spirit BECAUSE I will play against potato survivors as a potato Nurse/Spirit. I might play a bit more Trickster too. But I am not sure about the MMR. I was REALLY good at his old version and this new one just feels sus. No idea if my mmr dropped or if I still need to get my kpoppers smacked before I can enjoy him casually.

  • Maybe one day, after we get higher tier horror icons out of the way. Like the Leprechaun. Then we can move to d tier icons. Ayy!

  • To get the head pop. I want the reverse bear trap to actually do something...

If there was an add on that only gave you one trap that was guaranteed to go off after 5 minutes unless they escaped... I would use that. Is it too much to ask to live that moment in Saw without all 4 survivors pulling off their traps first attempt? Truly?

  • Really? Most games I play do not account for crashes or internet down relative to just leaving. I mean, I would assume you could tell the difference, but literally every online game I have played treats them the same.

Maybe i didn't write it the most elegant way, are we all going to the ash grade when it comes out then ?

I do not believe there is a confirmation one way or the other. During the PTB, I noticed streamers were already gold but in lobbies with people who were bronze or silver. So... Maybe? Sorry, no clue.

  • It would be nice if we could "favorite" perks that show up on the front page of our list. Because I think most people have a small rotation of perks they actually use and the rest are just filler.

  • The new ranking system will launch with Pinhead and mmr. So there will be nothing to reset.

  • @FatallyIconic said:

Well, it's highly possible that Pinhead's legendary skin that he is coming with (ha) will be a female pinhead. So we could be potentially getting another female killer too in the next patch.

Oh, yeah, genderbent Pinhead really gets me going. That luscious flowing hair, that vibrant skin, pearly white teeth. So attractive.

  • Probably my build. I run small game, inner strength, slippery meat and plunderers instinct. I get lots of angry messages from my teammates calling me a selfish piece of you know what.

  • @kodiaky said:

To really break the cycle, a monstrous killer would be cool. like a werewolf, mutated spider, alien, or a demon.

Hear me out... Hot demon babe. Or alien. Or mutated spider.

  • @Damarus said:

We're getting to 2022 in a couple months and the "do bones" catchphrase is still a thing? People RIGHTFULLY complain about a perk such as that one because it is broken in what it does, not in HOW it does it. Can't believe I still have to go through this, but here we are:

First and foremost, cleansing totems takes away 14 seconds each, assuming you didn't bring in Counterforce. Which is, you know, a perk slot for the chance of a (bad) player having NoeD. But that's fine, I guess. Whatever the case, you will still be using ample time ONLY for totems, which will be fatal to you and your teammates, if they are the usual incompetent randoms you can find out there. If you don't bring in that perk, however, and you don't play in a full SWF, you have no way of knowing how many totems have already been cleansed from someone other than yourself, which means more wasted time. You need to look for totems, cleanse them, try to survive AND hope your teammates do them as well. All of this leaving potential godly hidden spawns and perks like TotH aside. If you don't get to cleanse even a SINGLE dull totem, however, the killer gains a upper hand that he DID NOT deserve. He will now move faster (especially overkill on some already easy picks like Spirit and Billy) and instadown. Rewarding failure, that's what NoeD does. And unless you would like to see a perk that automatically spawns the hatch onto the last survivor, or another perk that gives survivors double the speed boost you get from Sprint Burst if the killer damages two gens, I don't see why we're still talking about the same things over and over and over again.

    Okay, but just do bones.

  • @IlliterateGenocide said:

Not likely. Tho i dont think they left on bad terms. netflix seems to be getting into game creatings so they will probs take there characters and make games directly.

They are making them delete a map... I mean, they didn't leave on "good" terms.

  • I have 1 million-ish saved up, I have a lot of challenges completed to turn in, maybe 1.5 million-ish. Not sure if you can save daily challenges to collect. I have a 45k one that I didn't collect, but I am scared it might delete when they update the game, so I might just collect it before the patch.

  • Yes, I want them to just reskin Hawkins, actually. But you know, I would settle for another indoor map. Heck, it can be outdoors if it is not a forest, we don't need any more of those.

  • @MadLordJack said:

Only on strong, fast killers. Throw this build on Pig or Legion, or even Plague and Demogorgon, and it's not even that good.

Huh? Demogorgon is one of the better killers to have this on, you can literally teleport to pressure cross map gens.

  • @MadLordJack said:

No. If you can't play without something, it's a crutch. If you can, then it's not.

This is how I see it as well. Ruin? It is the strongest perk in the game, but I do not "need" it. Lightborn doesn't really have that many supporters, but I literally refuse to play without it. Definitely my crutch.

  • I wouldn't even be mad. I more or less agree.

  • None of those are difficult for me because of console. The only maybe exception is Nurse. I am so bad at her that I cannot tell what the issue is. Do not get me wrong, controller is an inferior input method, but if you are good at it, you will be fine. I think a lot of these people have never played shooters. The aim is fine.

  • Ruin... I am not going to lose pressure on survivors to go kick a gen that they can invalidate the regression in 20 seconds... Solo. If it weren't for ludicrous cooldowns on other regression perks, Pop would literally be the most overrated perk in the game.

  • Probably Nurse and Billy. Those are the types of killers where people need to give me free hits at the exit gates to complete their daily missions. I thought as a console Blight, he would be up there... I am already ten times as effective with him compared to those two. But he would probably be relatively low too. I am very new to him.

Out of the killers I play regularly? Trickster. I got worse with him after the "buffs."

  • People seem to use Save the Best for Last as a filler perk when in reality you have to change your entire playstyle to accommodate it which, in my opinion, means you should build around it. Like, I would run Rancor with it, and I never see that. People are just content to waste stacks, so... Why bother building them in the first place? I just don't get it.
