"dumb tech".
@Topic:
In general, techs like this should not be tried. If the Killer has at least 2 Braincells, it will not work, same with CJ-Techs. People who watch the videos should be shure that for the 3 times they show it in the video, it did not work like 100 times before.
But against me, please keep doing CJ-Techs. Hopefully injured, so that I can the grab and not just the Hit.
Yea CJ techs are so easily countered, literally just have to step back and let them vault into you and not spam the pallet break , I don't understand why people still go for that stuff it just gives the killer 2 down at once

Why would it be more buggy if we were the ones who chose the killer power? The devs are still the ones who code the power, not us lol.
Exactly my point , could you imagine them dropping a whole customized list of killer powers differing from the ones already there? That alone would break this game because we have enough bugs when just one new power gets introduced

Camping and tunneling is extremely common, I’ve seen it, many players have seen it, if it were false there wouldn’t be as many discussions on it as there are. Where there’s smoke there’s fire right?. That said there’s plenty of killers who don’t rely on those tactics and do exceptionally well so there’s no reason why any killer should need to rely on them as long as they focus on improving themselves
It's not as common as you would think when it does happen it could be for alot of reasons and I don't think the hook timer should freeze or anything like people are suggesting, you seem like you're trolling with a new account with what you're saying to people and how frequently
-
Could you imagine how buggy it would be?

I agree, they do it more as a toxic play than anything else, that's what I've seen. I suppose you just have to keep playing to get out of that rank 15-20 area and get with actually fun people to play with.
I stay at red ranks usually on both sides, it's not a all the time thing but that's the only time I see them camp is when they're pressed for the kill
-
The problem is design flaw and refusing to address the elephant in the room with gen speeds and no real second objectives to complete, the problem isn't the killer tunneling it's the fact that if I'm playing wraith or clown and I pick the wrong direction to walk in at the beginning of the game let's say 25 seconds to find the first survivor, a short 25- 30 second chase occurs , and then hooking and traveling to where the gens are being completed 20-25 seconds at least and there should be three gens popping if the survivors are good , so you're down to 2 gens because of how long it took to get the first chase started but not because they ran you, what does the killer do now? Obviously 12 hooking isn't going to happen with those killers and unless they've screwed themselves on a 3 gen I'm going to be the one screwed in that situation. If it's a lower tier killer I don't blame them for tunneling but if it's a higher tier I have a whole different opinion about a killer with map pressure tunneling.

A situation that happens to me a lot that I camp in: If a survivor is nearing death or second stage I will camp unless everyone is healthy or the situation makes me do something else.
Camping isn't just for BM, you can camp in strategic ways that punishes survivors and progresses your objective.
Well from the way everyone is talking I think you're all speaking of different scenarios than I am I only see someone camp if the game is either out of their reach or they just are doing that from the start to punish a survivor that made them angry, maybe a meme ? Idk but I rarely see any good killers camping every hook for 15 seconds everytime , only a few hooks and the time you would spend you would absolutely lose gens in the bigger picture

15 seconds off of gen pressure isn't enough time to throw the game.
My dude/dudette/dud, you are just... so deep in the weeds right now, running hot arguing some truly absurd nonsense. Why don't you take a break, maybe play killer for a bit yourself or just take a walk, and come back to the discussion a bit more cool?
Obviously I don't know your experiences, but the killers staying for 15 seconds isn't them hard committing to camping. That is 20% of the 3 gens that they aren't pressuring, meaning that they are unlikely to get done unless it would already be too late if they left. If the killer ends up pressuring one of those gens, they probably can regress it by that amount during a chase, as the difference between a completed or 99%'d gen and a gen at 20% is huuuuuge in terms of how much pressure it puts on the killer, it basically doesn't matter.
The risk-reward of staying for 15 seconds if you suspect the survivors to 'unhook tunnel' for waiting a mere 15 seconds is very huge. Even if that bet only pays off 33% of the time (And, in my experience even at rank 1 it pays off WAY more) the cost to payout is hugely in your favor as a killer to at least try it on the first hook, unless obviously you can immediately chain into another chase.
Hell, you know what? We could run a duo for a bit if you want after you cool down. Maybe see what your dealing with. Perhaps rank 20 is a camping hellscape. I don't think that matters too much because of how trivially you climb out of hard camper ranks because you literally can't de-pip vs them if you know how to play the game, but that still isn't great for mega rookies. I doubt greens are camp hellscapes too just because those killers were able to pip and thus likely won't commit to hard camps without expecting payoffs unless its vs a key.
Your mistake is imagining killer players as a monolith, a group of supervillains who value ruining the survivor experience so much they are willing to throw every game they play just to screw you, which is... blatantly absurd?
I play killer and survivor both equally and have 9500 hours in this game, I'm a nurse main granted so I don't ever stick around the hook for 15 secs that's a straight waste of time as a killer when every second counts, 90% of the killers I see that camp hooks don't ever leave them and their intention is to secure that kill and they don't care if survivors are right there or not , I'm usually on a gen and once it pops I go for the save and the killer is just circling the area, NO it's not every game and I'm not saying it's impossible to win I'm saying that killers are camping just to be a dick to that survivor for whatever reason they feel like and at that point gens are usually the least of their worries and they've already thrown the game to make sure that one person dies

Most killers care far more about not being a 1 kill game then camping. It is just really clear that you are overly invested in being able to unhook right away and thus are the exact kind of person that killers wait 15 seconds 'soft camping' to trick into having a hook standoff.
Again, I said this in multiple threads to you, but sincerely, just count to 30. You got a full minute to rescue. 30 seconds is enough time to pop 2 gens and put the fear of god into killers. See how many actually are willing to wait out the 3 minutes it takes to kill a survivor. If your not in beige ranks, its probably going to be like... one in one hundred games maybe?
Like if a killer is just willing to throw the game vs a team that has 2 people willing to stay on gens (Because hard camping loses even if you can lure one survivor off gens doing it, 2 survivors can fix around 5 gens assuming they can do skillchecks in 3 minutes), that killer is hard de-pipping most games. If your at 20, then I would just say climb to 15 or 10 which should be trivial even if your a 4 man SWF and a camper is forcing 1 survivor to de-pip every game (You lose 1 pip, gain 3 every game, rotate the person first caught and you all gain .5 pips a game) and get to a rank where the killer isn't such a thirsty skank that they are willing to lose nearly ever game for a singular kill.
That 15 second rule is garbage and if a killer starts camping they've already thrown the game that in itself wastes enough time to get gens down it's quite clear they don't care about gens anymore

@dezzmont said:
The devs tested it and then said categorically it will never ever ever ever happen.
Camping is purely a survivor sided issue caused by bad survivor play. This is counter intuitive, it SEEMS like the killer is choosing to camp, but the killer is actually playing purely reactively when it comes to the hook.
The killer's ONLY objective is based on what the survivors do. If the survivors themselves divebom the hook, or just don't repair gens? The killer literally has no choice but to camp. If the killers do gens? Camping is terrible.
Good survivors don't let their teammates get camped not because they are sicknasty at instantly rescuing their bud from the killer, but because they put the killer under enough pressure that they can't take the luxury of spending a whole flippin 3 minutes (for perspective, that is enough time for 3 survivors to repair 7 generators counting skill-checks, so literally every generator in the map, including the 2 you don't need to do) unless the killer has a very good reason to suspect that they are actually pressuring 3 survivors while camping.
If you remove the reward for camping, suddenly the killer has no incentive to hook. What the devs found is the killer... just slugs. Every time. Because if you are literally not allowed to defend your hook, hooking the survivor is BAD actually, even if you don't WANT to defend them. It costs you time to bring a survivor to a hook, and your 'reward' is 1/3rd of their way to death, and giving the survivors the ability to instantly heal them to full. If camping doesn't create an objective the killer can defend, suddenly you have no reason to want to hook, because it actually makes the killer gamestate worse. If you slug, the survivors either need to invest time into healing the downed player, or the downed player has to heal themselves which means they aren't insta-unhooked.
Killers will always camp unless the survivors pressure them. It isn't just 'you counter camping by doing gens.' You get the killer to stop hanging out by the hooked survivor by doing gens. The killer needs a reason to leave based on the survivors threatening him. If the survivors refuse to threaten the killer, the killer should be able to do whatever they want. Acting like the killer shouldn't be able to get the kill if survivors don't do gens is like saying the killer shouldn't be able to down survivors even if they don't run away: If you don't make things hard for the killer, guess what? It isn't hard for the killer, and they are going to walk all over you. Give em something to think about other than 'Wow I could just get rid of this guy right now and there isn't a damn thing the survivors can do about it."
If a killer wants to camp they will and they aren't gonna give two ######### about gens that's the truth, you can spew this crap all day but just because you rush gens doesn't mean they will stop camping

Sure, no one enjoys the killer hard camping the hook, and the counter is to do gens, but the point of doing gens isn't to win the game 'despite' camping, it is to ensure camping doesn't happen in the first place.
The devs have talked about this multiple times and have said over and over that it isn't just that if they want to counter camping they should just do gens.
They said if survivors don't want killers to camp they HAVE to do gens.
They have also tested stronger anti-camping measures many times, and this was back in 2017 when the devs were just so nakedly survivor sided they told killer mains to go play Civ 5 (and quickly retracted that during the strike). They found that making camping any weaker than it is results in survivors just having total power over the game, because the killer being unable to stop sloppy hooks means the killer is PUNISHED for hooking survivors. The only recourse became to slug, which is EXACTLY what happened with old DS with the infinite stab window. No killer was hooking because hooking wasted a lot of YOUR time to put the survivor in a state where they could be 'healed' in a few seconds basically instantly, while slugging meant the other survivors had to either heal the other one up or more likely the survivor healed themselves and got popped with a one tap, which is still about as much time as an unhook.
Camping is purely a problem with survivor behavior, because it comes from survivors being overly aggressive on the hook. If you are REFUSING to do gens and want to go for insta rescues, you are 100% able to do that. But if you do that, the killer can defend the hook, and punish you for such sloppy play. Because *what else is the killer supposed to flippin do?*
Its as ridiculous as killers complaining about genrush because they can't pressure more than one survivor at a time. I am sorry you are mad that I killers are not wandering off to the corner of the map when your refusing to apply any pressure on them and are signaling to them extremely clearly that A: the second they leave that hook, an unhook is happening, and B: that at least 2 people are not doing gens right now, so the cost for camping is insignificant. If you want to avoid your buds getting tunneled, get good at the game and don't let the killer know your going for a rescue, and pop a gen or two to make them go "oh, if I stay here I will lose, I better go patrol again because one kill isn't worth multiple generators."
You don't deserve an unhook if you play badly, refuse to recognize the motivations of killer players or what their strategy for camping is (Because it IS a strategy, hard facecamping basically doesn't happen anymore because its so comically inefficective), and keep wondering why the person you try to rescue gets farmed down when your leaving scratchmarks all around the hook. I am saying this as someone who plays both sides at red: I love people like you as a killer because you are fundementally incapable of ever punishing me, and I hate people like you as a teammate because you over-tunnel on what you want to happen (the unhook) rather than how you make that happen, and when your very direct, blunt, and sloppy methods of getting that fail, you go and whine on the forums rather than realize that the killer is a thinking person who notices you are a thirsty over-alturistic hook-bomber swarming around the hook like flies doing things that betray your intentions comically hard like running into LOS and out to try to bait a chase or repeatedly fast vaulting, which tells the killer A: you want a chase and thus they absolutely shouldn't do it to tilt you further, and B: There is definitely 500% someone else sitting near the hook waiting to rescue and if they repeatedly pretend to that they MIGHT go chase you that one person on the hook becomes 3 and they definitely can snowball the game.
The literal only skill in DBD for a killer, unless your a nurse or a huntress taking snipe shots, is understanding what the survivors are thinking and exploiting it to apply maximum pressure and eliminate survivors faster. That is it. Their only objective is to slow down gens for long enough to get kills. If your bad at unhooks, camping is just flat out THE best strategy to acomplish that, even if they are a godlike nurse who can just land blinks 100% of the time the correct play when a survivor is clearly way too emotionally invested in unhooking RIGHT NOW is is to camp it out.
I promise you. I PROMISE YOU, that if you just count to flipping 15 before even going to rescue and rescue late in each hook phase, you will find camping way less of a problem. Especially if you can do a psychological gen pop to panic the killer. Sure, some killers are going to hard camp, and you gotta take that L, but if your not in garbage ranks that is going to be rare, and usually a killer hardcore camps because they noticed your thirsty.
There is absolutely no rush to rescue. There is no difference between unhooking 1 second into phase 1 and 59 seconds other than the fact that the unhook at 59 seconds has given your team an effective 177 seconds of gen repair time, minus travel time to the hook for your rescuer, and that its MUCH more likely to actually succesfully get pulled off.
Also, while we are at it, other basic hook misplays survivors often make include: Trying to suicide rescue in basement, looping above basement or near hook making a rescue while the killer is confirmed in a chase impossible, thus wasting that chase as an opening to rescue, and sending two people to rescue. Its understandable you don't want to gen jockey all day, if you want to be the looper, fine, but if you want to decoy the killer away from the hook just repair a gen right in its LoS to basically tell them to their face "Stop camping or we will make you lose this game."
I've played since day one and none of what you said changes the fact that if the killer wants to be a dick and ruin the game for survivors they absolutely can but yet they sit here and complain about their fun , I'm not saying it's unfair I'm saying it's unfun that it exists in the first place which by the way wasn't because of survivors , the game was so much harder for killers it was considered a legit strategy back then to secure multiple kills but nowadays even with all the tools devs have provided to prevent it from happening killers camp just to be a dick when they get triggered about something and say " the survivors wouldn't leave", How often do you camp the hook? If you've played as long as you let on it's probably very rare that you camp the hook like that, sure you might see ds still that's a given , I was stating that killers complaining about sloppy unhooks are the same ones who camp and complain about everything survivors do as an excuse , they can play however they want I really don't care but don't pretend like it's only because of survivors when killers camp right out the gates sometimes for no rhyme or reason

This is basically old DS.
They got rid of old DS for a reason.
If people try to rescue you, and they screw up, and the killer outplays you? The killer deserves that hook. Tunneling is a fake problem in the game, ultimately it is on the survivors to make correct plays after the killer wins the chase, it isn't the killer's problem if the survivors just refuse to play correctly, and tunneling occurs when survivors play poorly.
I don't think DS should be basekit but don't sit there and pretend like a killers job is to hard proxy camp and tunnel in this game , acting like survivors going for sloppy saves isn't because the killer won't leave the hook in the first place is a joke , sure the tactic to win in that situation is to genrush but nobody has fun in a game like that , survivors want to play a normal game instead of the killer refusing to leave the area and being forced into gens the rest of the game because someone gets upset over something stupid like a pallet stun and decides to camp

I know a couple console nurses that play just like they're on pc, I promise you if they get good enough you can't tell the difference

Should maps have more line of sight blockers to give more oppurtunities for counterplay?
I mean you are right, in tournaments a nurse dont 4k every game. In the current state of the game nurse is balanced.
Maybe the right way is to dont nerf nurse, its to nerf survivor only against other killers. Like the map reworks. It doesnt helps a nurse that there a fewer good pallets, but it makes other killer stronger.
Honestly I think even that's fine because there are only certain maps where you're just SOL against her like shelter woods being so open but I think a training mode is desperately needed so more people can get better with her and start seeing her more often , it's hard to judge whats needed or not based off the limited data you get from the nurse not being a common killer and the difference in being amazing or being trash with her skews alot of perceptions and forces some people to say she's too hard to play because they don't want to get bullied trying to learn

How? Just How? I see this posted a lot (Mostly by surv mains or "totally rank 1 killer main who thinks unbreakable and DS is a good combo") yet I've never seen anyone actually say why. The best reason ive seen is " X killer/killer perk is OP" or "I had this one game where this bubba camped the whole time" The second one being what seems to be most common as the reason why. From what I can tell the reason killers are "the most powerful they've ever been" is because sometimes people are mean and can abuse the broken balance on their power (Ex. Bubba camps or Pyramid tunnels) and that ALL killers are powerful. How? Just cause some killers CAN do well in very specific situations doesnt mean ALL killers are powerful. If you look at it from an overall viewpoint killers are incredibly weak. If your team is even somewhat competent you should easily get all gens done with minimum casualties especially if your doing a 4-Man. (which is more then likely). It takes about 40-50 secs for a gen to be done with more then 1 person on it and it takes no more then 30 to do a basic chase with someone who has a mid tier skill level. By the end of one chase a gen will be about 60-75% done by the time you hook and 85% done by the time you get to the gen (this all depends on location but it will also be above 40% done) lets say you get pop and kick the gen. Then it goes down 25% and thats all. Not bad right? Well thats about 15 secs of survivor work and about 7 secs with more then one and you can only do that about 12 times over the course of 5 gens so good luck getting any results. Most killer perks are starting to feel like a Placebo effect. "I should take pop because its a gen slowdown that must mean its real useful I mean it does 25% damage on a gen" then you use it and it becomes a waste of a slot due to easy counter of literally doing gens for a second. Not to mention how all killer perks are easily counterable while there are so many surv perks that arent. Ruin? Do the bone and done., Retribution? do the bone and done. Noed? bones. Sloopy? heal. Pallet burster(dont rember but its endurng + that one spirit perk that destroys pallets) just dont slam killers. Nurses? dont heal in heart beat or use spine chill. Speaking of spine chill lets talk about surv perks with no counter and are actually OP as hell. Spine chill directly counters about half the rouster and plenty of perks. Quick is complete BS and can easily throw someone off. DS is DS just use locker and your safe for a minute and run that nancy perk that lets you heal cause thats cool, also unbreakable cause your small dick. I could go on. The only thing all Killers have that is OP is that they can Tunnel, Camp, or slug and even then they are garbage. Let me tell you a secret, its how you can beat someone win easily when someone does these. Do gens forehead, its that simple. By the time two people are camped and dead the gens will be done and the rest can escape. The killer will also down pip. If they slug then just hide better, and if you die then you get to black or 1 pip and they get a down pip so who cares. So please tell me who killers are overall stronger then survivors now then ever before when base survivors can easily counter most killer tactics and if their smart and bring perks like spine, unbreak, ds, and quick they can easily win every game if they have even the slightest bit of IQ.
Take this into perspective, back in the day I could Sabo all the hooks and they would STAY gone forcing the killer to take you to basement just for a hook, also if it were trapper I could Sabo his traps and they would be gone the whole match, so essentially I could've taken his power away and all the hooks in the map making him an m1 killer who could only basement hook and not to mention recovering exhaustion for survivors, double pallet jungle gyms, and real infinite window loops.

I wouldn't nerf her, she is fine (other than bugs and weak add ons.) A good Nurse is extremely hard to play and no you shouldn't be able to counter her if she blinks right on top of you.
There is counterplay to everything a nurse does people just dont know how to play against a good one because they don't see it enough, the nurse does everything based off of predicting what a survivor is about to do , if you start being unpredictable it will be harder to land a hit , a good nurse will immediately identify if you're a double backer or a full sender when running from her and then play off of that knowledge, mixing it up can confuse even the best nurse and force them into a poor decision for example: let's say I run around the corner and I'm about to double back , a good nurse will blink to where she last saw you anticipating a double back and land the hit , but if you full send it in a not so obvious direction just gaining distance from the said wall it's way harder to predict where I'm full sending it and opens the door to double back the next time I'm in that situation, faking windows can also force the nurse to blink in or out of an area that you don't intend on running to waste a blink, also keeping track of how many blinks she has and how long it takes to recharge is important, The nurse doesn't need a nerf or a buff she's fine where she's at just be lucky a 5 blink nurse with little to no downsides isn't a thing anymore THAT'S when it was hard to play against a nurse

Both is possible. You can either get hit by an AOE-Hatchet or the Hatchet hits the visual model, but does not do damage. The first one is way more common tho.
Well that's good to know before I have a game like that and rage from phantom hatchets passing through survivors

Really? Normally it's the other way around and the generator sized hatchet hitboxes always prevail, I don't seem to have any problem and I've been playing the huntress more recently than usual , maybe just a bad connection to the server? That would be my guess

This may sound bad but honestly I'd agree with removing Nurse. She's far too unique to be balanced in any way- either she's overbearingly strong or she's stupidly weak. Nurse is one of the few killers that make it a skill vs skill situation

CUT: Nurse, Hag, Plague, deathslinger and Twins
this might be controversial but I would remove those killers they are not very good even though nurse is strong she’s buggy and unfun to use and the others are just bad or unhealthy or the game. What are your thoughts?
I hate your idea because I'm a nurse main and I think she's the most fun killer to play, people who don't like the nurse haven't put in the time it takes to be consistently good at high ranks with her

Yeah, it's not like players already use filters, stretched resolutions and lightning enhancers to get advantages already.
People tend to forget all the programs already in place to give that sort of advantage, there are alot of people already using this sort of thing I see no problem with making a color blind mode for people who need it
-
It should just increase the radius to 24 m, leave the cooldown but remove the hex factor from it so it gets a buff but it's not overpowered and has a more long lasting effect in the game while actually being useful with a bigger radius
-
I think solo q is your problem not the combo itself, if randoms weren't bots this game would be amazing and people hiding in basements at the beginning of the game for no rhyme or reason is just what dbd solo has become , literally had one random hiding in the basement and one urban evading the whole game , I ran the killer long enough for that one survivor that was doing something to do 2 gens alone and they DC because they realized the others weren't trying to do gens and I just gave up on hook because it was just a no win situation with teammates playing that way at red ranks
-
Yea but running up on a survivor crouched now with a timer going they can force you into a chase and pause it which is what it should do but if she was faster crouched she could remove a survivor with a half depleted trap from the game after only hooking them once ,it would be like old legion except your head would explode

I usually don’t play Th Pig too much (Not really my type of killer) but I have noticed that she doesn’t seem to have an increased speed while crouching add on. I really do hope we get to see one in the future as most killers have some type of add on that increases their speed while using their special attack. (Demo’s Shred, Ghostface crouched, etc.)
This is because it can be abused to crouch follow a survivor and make the timer continue to deplete where they aren't technically in a chase with no terror radius

Yeah its still a thing but I mean, they're preventing the hooked surv from being rescued for one and when that hooked survivor inevitably dies, boom the downed hook hider is next. I think it a lame rat play honestly and they need to fix the bug for sure.
Not necessarily because if you hold the run button then it will cancel the prompt to be healed and allow someone to unhook the other survivor but alot of people don't know if you hold the run button other survivors can't heal you it works as a cancellation and if you're down in a pallet and a teammate is about to be down with you if they can't use the pallet then hold sprint so they don't get a healing prompt at all and can safely throw a pallet and get away if they've been spotted while you're down nearby and have nowhere to go

There are games that handle that really well though, where players are in a kind of “kindergarten” until reaching a certain level, or certain number of accrued matches, then they throw them into the big bad ocean of other players.
Isn't that how this should be though? Once you hit green rank your account should be open because you've played enough to understand how it works , this game isn't rocket science

Shouldn’t they though? For the sake of player retention?
Unless they deceptively manipulate their player base numbers for their shareholders.
I was referring to old school MW2 online when matchmaking didn't matter you were always just thrown to the wolves , but if you tried you learned how to swim faster than you would've getting your hand held , for a game like this of course I think matchmaking matters but there comes a point where you should be thrown to the wolves and learn whats really supposed to happen
-
That's because games like that and call of duty don't matchmake off of ranking I believe , if you get thrown in with a 10th prestige quick scoper the game doesn't care if it's your very first time playing or not

I think killer interpretation of teabagging is the most bewildering. I teabag to say thanks. I teabag to say hi. I teabag to say you stupid camping tunneling ghostface betch, that's what you get, the list goes on and on. A lot of survivors teabag because they know it bothers killers and that's the whole point, so stop letting it bother you.
I would change that to the actual curse word instead of changing the spelling , as crazy as it is you can get banned for evading the profanity filter and you're better off just typing the word you want to say, not trying to be rude just a heads up because if a mod saw that you'd get punished

@EvanSnowWolf said:
Teabagging is 100% toxic. No excuses.
There is nothing toxic in this game besides end game chat, all that other stuff depends on how you take it personally and sometimes the survivors don't even mean it in a bad way it's just people are too soft in this game and get too emotional

Me fake picking up your teammate to get you to reveal yourself for the flashlight save is not toxic.
Me flashlight saving my teammate after you picked up right next to a wall while not even looking at the wall, is not toxic.
Making a mistake and then having that mistake get punished isn't toxic, you just got outplayed.
Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk.
depending on what killer (trapper/hag) I'll fake setting a trap over the downed survivor to bait them out and if I'm another killer I more than likely will have infectious fright on and just start slugging , but in the instance I don't have infectious and I'm not one of those killers something as small as walking up to the body and immediately turning before the pick up will be enough to throw timing off

I don't know the circumstances around any of this, but, generally speaking for all things Steam and otherwise: If you aren't using a strong randomized password and two-factor authentication where possible, then you didn't take enough steps to secure your account.
Now, I think that the companies behind our online platforms should be held more responsible than they generally are for breaches, because a lot of them are more lax about security policies than they reasonably ought to be. But we live in an age where you should assume that account compromises are a "when," not an "if," and you should take every step possible to guard against it.
I'm asking how they don't know the problem is on their end? Back in the day entering the same lobby as a hacking player could in turn make your account hacked , I'm just saying with these lost progress posts I've seen and with situations like this one it makes you wonder if it's on their end and not the user in question, just a week ago I saw a guy make a post about all his characters being reset to 1 but his devotion was still the same which is exactly how the old progress hacks would work it would either max absolutely everything out or completely drain it to a fresh start

But why are these worse than the guys that run around the map never touching a gen or an unhook just the same?
They're both bad , the difference is most of the time the one running around is gonna be seen and at least provide a chase or something that benefits the team by wasting time of the killer, someone who solely stealths and doesn't do anything but wait the hatch out is a heavier burden on a team by not getting chased or doing objectives , I would rather play with someone just running around any day of the week over someone who does literally nothing but hide and doesn't repair/unhook/cleanse/ or heal

From Steams ToS - it's very clear that your account is your responsibility. This is the same for all platforms, hence I would always advise never to give your information to anyone and to always have 2 factor authentication on.
But what if your account is hacked through dbd servers and of no fault your own? In MW2 back in the day it was out of your control and there are hacks where if you just enter the same lobby as someone you could be stuck with the hack and have to reset your system or even sometimes being stuck with the result if it was a progression hack, There should be a way to determine that on BHVRs end where it starts

Your team must be very bad if they cant 3v1 the killer for 45 seconds while she has no power. It's a great start, if your team is injured victor will have a very easy time to snowball. best thing you can do if healthy is to take him hostage while the others are reseting
I disagree because there's no point in leaving him on and not getting anything done, also charlotte is going to start chasing one of them not allowing the reset to happen, thats what creates a snowball for that killer because by the time you decide to take victor off and quit trolling you have someone going down and it becomes a cycle of unhooking until you can work your way back to doing objectives, by leaving victor on you're giving charlotte exactly what she wants you're afk and another person is getting chased with charlotte having control on calling him back 30 seconds later and use him to slug after a down or to proxy the hook, it's the same thing as hopping in a locker and going afk until you decide to come back except you're also revealing where your team is if you get too close, it's really a no win for the survivor to leave him on unless you're being chased by Charlotte which isn't smart on the killer.

You need to seriously apply that git gud argument to yourself if you think that the nerf to the Moris is a bad thing.
Edit: That was meant for someone else I accidentally tagged you sorry

I'm not against stealth gameplay but I'm glad they're taking some of that away, too many people hide and don't do ######### the whole game its part of the reason people complain about solo q, when they go down some guy is scared to death urban evading half way across the map from you and not trying to get gens done or anything its like they play the game to wait for the hatch after everyone dies and anything that drives those people away from the game is fine by me id rather not play solo at all than to have those type people as teammates who lack the intelligence to do something as simple has holding m1 on a objective
-
You're right it's only smart if charlotte is chasing you and not someone else , you're essentially throwing the game if you leave victor on and you aren't getting chased.

Ruin and undying only works well if the killer does a good job scaring survivors off of generators. It also doesn't last nearly as long as people like to believe, once it is gone it is gone for good.
DS + unbreakable on the other hand creates a lose-lose situation for the killer. It is ridiculous. Some people might argue that DS + unbreakable is also one use just like ruin + undying. While this is true, the difference is that DS + unbreakable gets its value out of being used up. Unbreakable also has the permanent passive effect of allowing survivors to recover from the dying state 35% faster at max tier.
DS just on its own is extremely powerful as the killer has to assume everyone has it or suffer the consequences (assuming the killer doesn't have perks that create an obsession).
At least with Ruin + undying, you can get rid of both of them with relative ease. DS + unbreakable can be stacked on all four different survivors and benefits the survivors no matter what the killer does.
The best way to get rid of ruin + undying is to have two survivors on two different totems at once btw.
Note: I will admit that it does a bit too much. Maybe give the tracking effect to Hex: TOTH so it is useful again.
It's not that ruin and undying itself is too strong it's when top tier killers (like nurse, spirit etc ) are the ones using it , as for the comparison I'm not so sure about it there are good arguments that could be made for both sides that anyone who plays both sides would have to agree on but I think DS unbreakable is a bit stronger because you can 4 stack

This has been happening in the past few days, I'll go to work on a gen either by myself or with someone and my character will react like I just blew a skill check and I just touched the gen. What's up with that?
I've been noticing the same thing not sure what it is

Apologies. I shouldn’t have been so presumptuous having not seen the match.
My point though is that using up pallets early and quickly against a killer has never been an advantage to survivors. Clown isn’t an exception to this, not in my personal experience holding my own against red ranks since the release of Curtain Call chapter.
Especially because Brutal Strength is common on the clown in red ranks , my clown build is STBFL, Brutal Strength, PGTW, and Corrupt Intervention , if survivors just throw down pallets early brutal strength will make survivors pay by taking most the safe zones away in the first chase or two and then there they are with 3 gens left to repair still but no pallets left to save them
