He spam Traps.

He don't slow down when using his power, no drawbacks at all or cooldown. It is time to adjust this guy.
I see everyone freaking out about Freddy when he's extremly easy to deal with. Run OoO or Spinechill and remember how to sneak around.
Not only that but I seem to notice purple/red ranks are filled with Ghostface winning almost all their matches since the stalk rework...why is everyone silent about this ?
Double standards.

Just realised that calm spirit does stop screaming but the notification would still be sent meaning that it's worthless.
Lbh how many times do you notice the notification when ppl are cleansing your totems and you run ToTH ?
Also, Distortion would prevent the notification like it does for the crows.

Insta-heals don’t work against good killers I had a full team run insta-heals, long story story short I still got the 4K.
I'm rank 4 both sides and no insta-heal is one of the most toxic thing in the game. If you failed with 4 insta-heal it isn't the game's fault.
-
@Auron471 said:
Sounds toxic and kinda op. Also since when would a survivor be able to tie a killer down.
That's called an original idea.
Also since both you and the killer get tied up AND it reveal your aura to the killer I don't think it is OP in any ways.
It would be mainly for switching chase target when the killer is a bit tunneling.

What lead you to this conclusion because I have numerous reasons as to why the game leans more towards killers favor but I would like to hear your reasons before hand.
Insta-heal.
-
Both are pretty balanced but tbh devs are leaning towards survivors never killers. Last bone they threw at me was making the Hag traps a bit faster. It was like a year ago I think.

Calm Spirit and Distortion have no affect on it. Calm Spirit affects Crows. Distortion is Aura Reading. As a matter of fact no perks would fix this as of update 3.2.1 This isn't fair for reasons already described in my other posts and that there is barely any counters to the TOTH,NOED and Cap Energy combo.
I'm talking about the perk here. If you want to complain about NOED and TOTH go make a post about that.
I meant that "Calm spirit" would prevent the screaming and "Distortion" the aura reading cause by the perk I'm suggesting.

It would make sense, though. It takes time to focus that hard, so it would force them to stop and charge it. That way you can't just pop it in the middle of a chase, but you could possibly use it to save someone from being caught or hooked. I assume it'll stun the killer, causing them to drop a survivor if they're carrying them.
It is an anti-chase power tho.

I'm sick of Hillbilly

Myers...Legend goes he got all his lines right on the first try.

There isn't a skillcheck size that would make this balanced. Not even the size of an overcharge skillcheck under the effects of unnerving presence.

But hear me out: No condition that needs to be made, you don't get broken for 60 seconds after you use it and you only need to hit a skillcheck a size of today's DS.
How about now

Are you sure you didn't mean Deep Wound instead of Mangled? Also, I feel it should make them oblivious as well, as it would take a great deal of mental strength to tear a shard of your own soul out. Should require a channel before it works, maybe three seconds.
Yep there we go. But I prefer no cast time.

I'm not saying I don't like it but it still needs to be somewhat fair.
This is fair. Perks like Distortion and calm spirit would still apply.

You would be hurt but no not broken bc again this isn't a sure thing so imo you need to be rewarded.
Also you State DS as an example as if it was easy. I'm rank 4 and never use that perk bc I can hardly hit the skillcheck it trigger. And it isn't like I'm bad, I can hit gen great skillchecks so idk.

Slippery meat is actually kind of broken on swf. Put 4 luck offerings and everyone eguip this perk. And everyone gets a free delivarance.
Playing against it is horrible since it is impossible to maintain pressure. And playing with it is just a free win basically.
So i would like to see it tweaked somehow. Since alone its utter garbage.
SWF is broken anyways so I'm not going to include that for balance bc imo they should have completly different matchmaking queues.

@Milo said:
I don't want to be nitpicky but wouldnt this be better Delivarence?
Not exactly since it isn't a sure thing has opposed to Delivrance.

Can't you then just fake leaving so they can use the Slippery Meat thinking it is safe, then you just come back and go after them? I'd say it is different when you can probably expect a Slippery Meat play than when something like Deliverance catches you off guard because you have no real reason to expect it.
Same thing here lbh who run slippery meat ?

Nurse ?
...what ?
"Cindy that's not a monster, that's a sack of bones!"
-
(PS4)
Nurse: Kinda really hard and even more on console but some still try.
Pig: Extremly weak and almost always gets bullied but again some still try.
Priestess: I literally never ever see her anymore. I feel other killers were buffed even if just indirectly but not her so amongst all killers why would you chose her instead of another ? Funny factor ? Yeah I guess...
-
It's too make the final touches :
-Someone is on the hook
-Dull totems remaining
-Looking through the last chests
If anything just stick around until at least one other person showed up and open it...IF NO ONE IS ON HOOK OR BEING HOOKED!
-
I like the idea of allowing a slower regen when running. They could probably use the old codes from when this was possible.
-
I think 3 token is more than enough. You know hiding in lockers can avoid bbq and most if not all aura reading perks.
-
My red rank Hag
-Thrill of the hunt
-Haunted ground
-Ruin
-Spies from the shadows
If they are still cleansing everything without you letting them, you are doing something wrong.

But once Hex:NOED is out there, there is barely any stopping it. Along with TOTH, there is still no way to get noed cleansed meaning no matter when you turn it off it will still help NOED. Also yeah turning a hex perk off is bad as it's main counter is turning it off by survivors.
Noed is OP anyways so I'm not going to balance it further with that in mind.
Yes the point of this hex is to help other hexes like or hate it.
-
Also even if they do. He'll just run back to the hook and down whoever is closest.

Then get down and ignored by your teammates whilst on the hook.

Hillbilly's "default" chainsaw sprint speed is 230% which is 80% (!) faster than speed perks like Sprint Burst, Lithe or Balanced Landing. So always look at him WHILE sprint bursting away and turn left or right DURING your sprint burst IF he starts chainsaw sprinting.
This forces him to stop the chainsaw sprint due to his extremely limited movement control which -as a result- allows you to build huge distance.
If Hillbilly stops his chainsaw sprint he goes into a short cooldown so if you manage to Sprint Burst to the left or right side while he chainsaw-sprints past you - then you will actually have some serious distance in many cases allowing you to run to a pallet that you can loop.
But as I said he's by far the strongest "loopable" killer in the game so always expect to get downed if you're "outpositioned" (not close to safe pallets or safe windows).
I do not mean when he is using it but when holding it.
Idk it it's an exploit, add-on or wtv but he run much faster than even Myers with the red/purple add-on allowing him to move MUCH faster when stalking.
This makes it really hard to just get ANY distance with him.

@GrootDude said:

He moves like 14% slower than survivors...
I think some add-on negate that bc I've been in cases where Hillbilly was able to get to me 3s after using SB.
-
Like you know you can't deal with a killer when you think "I'd have less trouble dealing with the Spirit"
-

I’ve used both a lot and OoO is better by a long shot.
Tbh anytime I see survivors using OoO...I keep them for last...bc most likely they'll reveal their location when the last guy go down.
-
@Yamaoka said:
Hillbilly is -by far- the strongest "loopable" killer in the game. Once mastered he'll make short work of anyone who doesn't loop optimally.
Therefore the best advice I've got for you is loop him and try to force Hillbilly to use his hammer by "cheekily" vaulting when he's right on your back allowing you to sprint burst to another loop granting a "normal chase" and (obviously) dodge his chainsaw by going left or right as soon as he starts sprinting.
His maneuverability is extremely limited while chainsaw-sprinting except for the first few milliseconds (which allows good Hillbillies to chainsaw-flick around corners [example below]) so always look behind you whilst looping and be ready to dodge the chainsaw whilst looping, too.
My point is that most of the time I can't even reach a Loop or vault.
Not all the time but there's times when I just used SB and Hillbilly got behind me whilst holding down his charge attack in less than 3s.
I'll keep in mind what you said of course but idk I guess I'm just so tired of fighting him higher ranks and starting to see how imbalance his running speed is when holding down charge.
-
I still don't understand how it make sense that Hillbilly can run faster than survivors whilst holding down his charge attack...
Leatherface is fine has long has you have obstacles.
-
Survivor: Spinechill/Premonition
Killer: Haunted ground/Ruin
-
I also noticed that even with sprintburst/lithe he usually can catch up with his chainsaw raised and ready much faster than ANY killer with charging abilities.
-
@Drazen said:
stay near vaults and pallets then he is just m1 killer but if u stay around corners or unsafe gens thats where billy boi gets strong
I do that but then he just usually raise his chainsaw and we indefinetly loop around until he is right at my back and use it...

Lately, I feel like I have been playing with 3 perks and ds is just in the 4th slot to look pretty.
Either the killers just k n o w I have ds and leave me on the ground (fair)
Or for some reason survivors refuse to save and would rather work on gens or just sit there staring at me, leaving me one or two hooked (annoying)
I would replace ds with kindred but I just know that when I do, I will either get unhooked without borrowed time or I would be even more frustrated if I have kindred tier 3 equipped and I still get left hung out to dry.
Isn't sad when even red ranks unhook you when being chased without BT...

I don't see them as replacements for each other. They don't serve the same purpose. A killer might be better served by CI than Ruin, but that's because they can take advantage of the differing effect. Hag is better with CI because it typically makes people walk into the web and shrinks the map. Another killer like Ghostface or Myers makes better use of Ruin.
With ruin and the Hag; it'll force them to enter my web and run away when I come to chase them. Triggering all traps in their path.
Rince, repeat.
P.S I don't want to kill them too quick anyways. I want those BP lol

That's pretty much what I do. The games I struggle in involve one person that runs through the temple every time I pick someone up and sets off half my traps. And the survivors typically know which side of the map my web is on and just run away from it. Basically just need to get better at 1v1 on her because I get the first hit a lot, but survivors with map awareness or comms just run to trap deadzones after the first hit.
I use to struggle a bit in 1v1 too. My old build included "Unrelenting" so your missed attacks aren't too time consuming. You could also try to use "Play with your food" to increase your speed a little if you like obsession perks (I do not).

The Demogorgons portals are far to weak, not only can they be destroyed far too easily but they dont seem to help as much as they should the addons are very clearly centered around his portals but they barley help! The shred ability is much stronger and so i think that some changes should be made to his power
1, make the portals harder to destory three survs can work on one at a time thats silly!
2, some addons should be changed to help his loung
3, only let 2 survs destory a portal
This is my second post so thanks for reading.
I've seen all the vids.
STOP PUTTING THEM OUT IN THE OPEN!
Like every portal I ever see is always just put in plain sight. Don't complain that I'm then destroying it.
Just like my Hag's traps smart cookie survivors will break them if they are too obvious. And for the Hag it only take a sec with a flashlight.

I love Hag. I want to get better with her. I struggle on Temple of Purgation and similar maps with her.
Try not to put traps around the gens, that's a mistake I see a lot of baby Hags do.
Instead put them around the temple entrance, some down stairs. Also put has many traps has you can on the safe side of pallets(the side survivors would be if they'd use it).
Also, remember that you can break any Loop by setting a trap midway. Most survivors will try to run away when they see you block a loop. Giving you a chance to get a hit during the chase to the next loop.
My red rank build is;
Hag
-Thrill of the hunt (to protect ruin)
-Ruin (slow gen repairs)
-Haunted ground (to bamboozle the survivors)
-Spies from the shadows (I'm a red rank immersive player ik you're around somewhere)
-
Mine is running smoothly...
-
Hag (red rank)
-Thrill of the hunt
-Ruin
-Haunted ground
-Spies from the shadows
If they still manage to cleanse it, you're doing something wrong.
-
First Killer I tried was Nurse. I almost deleted the game.
Second killer I tried was the Hag. I made it to red rank.
-
Yup and we also all lose a rank shard if the killer disconnect right at the beggining or halfway through.

One rage quits, than another, then the others are left to give up or quit too. (Props to those who stick around and see the game through.)
DCing survivors is a major problem. The selfish act of one is payed by the rest. Your essentially screwing over the other 3 survivors.
And trust me your not hurting the killer, he/she gets a quitter bonus or “a reward for your salt.” The only people hurting as a result of your rage quitting is your fellow teammates. This goes for killers too stop quitting too.
If you play DBD and can’t handle a game that requires you to survive or get kills. Maybe you should go play Minecraft in creative mode! Seriously lol
I know dedicated servers are coming, but they can’t get here soon enough!!!
There should be a repeater quitter lobby. Maybe they need to experience their own medicine.
Killers get mad too. I could've gotten 40k instead I got barely 20k...
