I might skip it ,I'm waiting for the Silent Hill reboot announcement, I've played the resident evils and missed so many opportunities to go back into the Silent Hill series, I could be play Silent Hill one if the PS5 was bkwrds compatible but sony is stingy and doesn't want to spend the necessary money to add bkwrds compatibility .

Exactly, she has her own motives and couldn't be controlled by Umbrella,unlike her BOW counter part's.I feel a person who knows the lore would be able to pick the best killer for the chapter and it's a no brain thought on the survivor's,and now I'm just curious as to who would a resident evil community manger or leader would pick somebody who know's the lore.Is there anybody who's a fan of Remake and 96 what do you think?
a game like resident evil shouldn't be in that deathmatch arena, they'll probably try to tap into that DBD formula

You people absolutely ridiculous ,if you think Nemesis is the better choice. LIsa Trevor is the original host of the Ne a parasite, unlike Nemesis she destroyed the parasite and adapted it into her biology.
She's very unique and she's not affected by weapons like Nemesis. Also she is the progenitor of the G virus.

This is how the dev's should do, the Resident Evil chapter
Map : Spencer Mansion
Killer : Lisa Trevor
Survivor's : Jill+Chris
The reason why Lisa Trevor as the killer , she has the tragic story that attracts The Entity,Lisa and her parents, were were kidnapped by Edward Spencer and while the farther found himself trapped by a secret compartment, Lisa and Jessica, her mother was less than fortunate. They were kept in an underground laboratory beneath the Spencer Mansion,forced into countless experiments which Jessica did not survive, Lisa's body somehow was able to withstand the multitude of virus's giving to her but ,her memory and cognitive thinking begin to deteriorate which is a common sign of infected T virus victim,the only memory remained in Lisa Trevor mind was her mother so for the next 25 years they subjected, Lisa to countless experiments in which Ne a parasite was first injected into her in 1988 which she was able somehow take the parasite and adapt it to her own genetic mutations.This restored Lisa's cognitive function to some degree ,but she was still very dangerous and would kill countless staff members over the years ,because they would pretended to be Jessica and Lisa would show them their not by removing there face,it was decided for her termination ,she did not die ,after the outbreak and the only the monster in the mansion remained Lisa still roamed the hallways and caverns in search of her mother.
Barry+Wesker+Rebecca+Richard should be the first set of legendary skins
Then through the following weeks they could release Leon +Claire+Brad+Carlos as Legendary skin's
That's how, I would do a resident evil chapter. I think that would be a perfect resident evil chapter.
But maybe they'll do a spread and just give us map from 2 killer from 3 survivor's from 1 and legendary skin's
Obviously Leon is going to either be the main character or a skin because him and Claire pretty much carried the series on.
It could be just Resident Evil 4 chapter, but I don't know much about the characters even though I beat Re4 on gamecube.

I a pretty ok average killer main and people consider to be good at this in someway, but I usually only ever 3K with Freddy,survivor's are blaming the killer for being strong the design but obviously it's just how skilled a player is ,maybe forever bearing but not really against coordinated team's, which is the point of the my post ,No killer in this game is too much for you're personal skills literally, it's all on you.
Ok yeah solo que is bad, but you either luck up with a good or use the hatch, you don't have to save them ,you damn sho don't save me second phase if I get in with a bad ,I just take a locker quietly, or you die,then go to next match solo is supposed to be chaotic.

They have realistic hairstyles and facial features. I know many have said their normal art style wouldn't fit in dbd and they would have to change them to look realistic, and I feel Attack on titan characters could most definitely be made to look realistic and be recognizable as well. Also, the characters of attack on titan are just like any other humans, and just as vulnerable and weak as well. (Except for the titan shifters of course but the entity can always 'take their power away').
Now, I used to think Eren would make a perfect survivor as he's the most iconic, but due to his recent homicidal tendencies, I'm starting to think differently. I believe the runner up could be either his best friend Armin, Mikasa, or any other of the main scout members as well.

That's more of action cartoons gundam style anime, I think their looking for a tragic character,and horror background.

Yes, Hawkins, with an average 70% kill rate, is a very balanced map. Do you think sanctum of wrath, where there's usually about 6-7 pallets total (with 2-3 of them being unsafe) is a good map? They are slaughtering grounds for the most part, unless you have a full team of very good survivors. And with the matchmaking, that almost never happens.

There's a bunch of different ways to wake up. If you fall asleep during a chase because of getting hit or the timer, it's mostly your fault.
Not to mention, even if you are asleep, Dream Snares are quite visible so you can easily avoid them. Even if you touch them, they don't do much at all. Dream pallets can be countered by memorizing the real ones, pulling them early and/or not relying on pallets at all.
If you can dodge Rights of Judgement ,you can dodge Freddy's snares 🤷♂️

It's a bad add on imo,the mark gets in the way of blinking, and causes you to focus on the mark and not the charge ,also because you have the target location, does the target stay in that same spot nope they move everytime.

Yes, at first we all believed that it was a Wendigo in the twins chapter, I just hope that the developers do not disappoint us with the killer that will be sold for the fifth anniversary, the names with more force would be Resident Evil and Candyman, if it were something unexpected I wish it was Jason, Chucky, Pinhead, Pumpkinhead or Alien, or whoever.
The Silent Hill chapter was done perfect we didn't expect it, but yet they pulled the best part's of that franchise, so it's possible they'll get who needs to be in that chapter.
Me, I'm totally content with the Silent Hill chapter their's nothing more, I could as for or want ,maybe a few cosmetics.
I get people don't want to psych themselves up,but it's hard not to.
imo,don't think Chucky would make a good killer.he would struggle with map pressure,height disadvantage survivor's can just crouched and lose you so easy. That's entirely too many cons for Chucky to work ,I've also grown apart from the series to so that's another reason why, I don't care for it and I think of a dozen niche horror movies better than Chucky, but it doesn't matter to me if he makes it or not
Silent Hill is a kin to Fog then Resident Evil akin to....
Now even if it isn't this ,anniversary it will be coming,
You must have a person in mind if you don't think Mr. X,Nemesis or Berkin fits the role for this chapter please say her name.

That would depend on the developers who characters can access, in fact I dare to say, which chapter of resident evil will be based, who will be the main characters of this chapter, also it is still too early to speculate the hypothetical chapter of Resident Evil, the STARS track may be 2 of 2, we will see Resident Evil this year or probably many more than original horror icons.
It's not to early, they literally gave us evidence and couple of other things that coincide ,the game director is very smart and he knows, that we expect him to drop clues since that's kind of been the running gag ,I mean i do agree with you it might not be resident evil but it's something their.

That is my discomfort for which they talk a lot about license killers, another example would be last year, the dead by daylight community before the fourth anniversary did not want Candyman, months later now out of nowhere they want him just like that. Maybe it's the negativity of which one they want to see first or the one they don't want to see. It is this reason why many want to see original chapters and I think I include myself. ¿What do you think about it?
So you're saying you hope they don't go for fan service ?which is why you mentioned Mr X and Nemesis, I don't think their the right choices for the resident evil chapter personally.

Yep that's pretty much my guess to.Nemesis, Mansion or Laboratory and Legendary skin's for Jill and Chris.If they add the mansion, it's so much space to work with .The garden area ,the courtyard upstairs and downstairs the hallways,that map is going to be so cool.

I do agree with you,and Clive Barker recently procured his rights back ,to get people back into the series, this would be an obvious opportunity to put Hellraiser in DBD,I do remember one of the devs mentioning his friend has the same name as one of the writers on the Hellraiser movie's.
If we get both of the Barker boys in the same year ,its really going to be lit.

I don't think it's a good license to have it's not scary and DBD doesn't need kids because it's that main target audience,the same could also be said for Chucky because people are done with the campy lines and killer dolls, even if it was a possessed doll you still be able to kick its ass ,I've heard alot of horror fans say their tierd of the doll trophs.In the end the Dev's probably have a set roaster in mind already.

Sure, he could use claws, his teeth or smash survivors with a bunch of balloons. The problem is, this would not be true to his character. He is simply not a slasher killer.
It would be like bringing Dr Manhatten into the game and he is using a hammer to down survivors. I hope you get the point what i mean there.
But how are they not sticking true to the character, There taking the adaptation of him from the movie's and making it into a playable mechanic.
Pennywise trapped himself, if you remember he also has to obey the rules of that corporial form.The Entity can take anyone from in place in time ,which is why we have Pyramid Head instead of Missionary because The Entity isn't twisted as one might think,but I digress. Pennywise isn't in his strongest form when he is the clown, but he's perfect for aspect of chasing survivor's and it will be really damn cool.

Possibly, I don't find anything wrong with a company doing what it's supposed to do make money, with extra cosmetics this also allows artist creative expression and builds for a nice portfolio, but if you're not giving back yo you'r community who supports you then ,you're pretty much robbing them.The Godzilla event was my final straw.

I honestly don't believe that D strikes should be nerfed,it's kind of a community perk we all need it,there's always that one killer who's going to tunnel you.
I hated the first change to DS ,people complained about the abuse of holding on to it at the last minute, I did the same.If I play killer I'd force you to use you're D-Strike with out tunneling.
What needs to be changed is Spine Chill.
While Spine Chill is active, your Repair, Healing, Sabotage, Unhooking, Vaulting, Cleansing, Exit Gate Opening, and Chest Unlocking speeds are increased by 2/4/6 %.
Honestly a perk shouldn't do this much combined with leader,resilience, felix new perk prove thy self come on
It should be on a cool down.
It could be ,active for 5,10,15 seconds max in the killer's terror radius.

You are not lying Nancy is somehow the greatest pallet slammer in DBD, when she wants to hit you, she's gonna hit you.
But then there's default Nancy Idg her ,she runs in a straight line all game, take hits and usually the first person trying to the hook save or no save ,but the end this monster transforms into a Phoenix and there's no getting the last hook she becomes God like if you didn't get her early.
Cheryl is an inconvenience ,she hides all game, but she's doing the gens. If the gens or getting done it's Cheryl, Everytime you go to the gen, Cheryl's at the gen and she knows the perfect time to leave ,when you do arrive she'sout in the open but heading to the safest loop.

There's a very good chance of the March chapter being licensed since the devs mentioned in their October license Q&A they like to do about 2 licenses and 2 originals every year. We have our 2 originals. It doesn't mean it can't be original because if they were to waver we'd probably get an original. Most likely it is licensed whatever the chapter is.
Doesn't it feel like we got three original's back to back,DS,The Blight and Twins. Paulie Esther seems to think we're getting another original , continuing with the Pirah story ,but here's a left fielder.Who ever owns the license of The Predator is giving permission for a skin in fortnight there's already a Predator game but its dead, and it's a skin, I could see Illfonic wanting. The Fugitive Predator skin is available in Fortnite ,so I mean that wouldn't be helpful to the pred game that exist, because you're splitting the community in away but it's just a skin and not an actual predator it may be for promotion, but the new owners may be looking to do a crossover with DBD to promote all of the Predator films apparently coming.

Totems are in predictable spots on most maps. MES has tougher spots, and most of the time, people aren't actively looking unless its confirmed the killer is running Undying+Ruin+Devour Hope.
Also, have you never seen a totem in a spot that can't be cleansed? B/c I've come across 3 totems, 1 hexed, just recently and it was in a spot that was bugged or just no matter what angle you tried, you weren't able to cleanse it.
I don't think Undying or Ruin is hard to play against, but your point with B) is just 1 sided as hell. This game wasn't created with SWF, it was implemented as a community wish and now its gotten to the point where too many people rely on it. A lot of people still solo que so B) goes out the window.
I doubt anything that changed is for solo que, that's BS SWF groups get perks nerfed when they can't have their fun or meme the killer.

I got carried away as Victor and forgot about Charlotte 😂 until I was already really far.
Right it's so easy to forget, but having Charlotte stationary near by helps alot and helps you from relying solely on slugging .

So far I noticed when using Victor you have to back up from the pallet in order to pounce over. Also (while this is one of my least favorite things to do - Slug) I try not to depend on that too much.
Anyway, some tips would be nice from anyone out there who has some experience with them. Like I said I have been having fun with them but just need a lot of practice x.x
