Given these… "nerfs", prolly see Infection removed on hook and insta M1 gone next hotfix, though this change:

Decreased the time during which Intestinal Whip ignores obstructions to 0.35 seconds (was 0.6).

Prolly means that she cant hit over pallets with the whip AS consistently as she did before, and a nerf to her hug tech i think?

would need to see it in action, but if sizable thats an okayish nerf to her chase at loops.

probably but I will have to test that for myself

  • maybe not stacked but rather just targeting the main issues I’d like to see

I just hope that the second bugfix is so stacked with nerfs for her, I wanna seeeeee.

BHVR has said there are more changes coming in the next hotfix, because they didn't have time to put everything into this one.

Well, that’s helpful information to keep in mind

Or just an incremental haste effect when he's not in chase/is Undetectable. Buffing his mobility when not in chase always was the perfect buff for him but instead they go for a thematically-unfit clunky Chucky's dash attack variant.

I think he’s less Chucky and more just diet Hillbilly

I wonder if they can steal the Halloween game's idea to let him have a shadow stalk mode for faster travel 👀

    an offscreen teleport maybe?

he was very strong on release no doubt but this is one of the biggest problems of the game, its really ironic we get killers like ghoul who can injure and zoom around the map like its nothing and Krause who can do literally everything without consequence but then its absolutely necessary that Ghostface has his stealth removed by hooked survivors

feels less like ghoul and more like pre nerf Chucky if I’m being honest because it’s either you can get hit or get hit you can get hit

  • @AlwaysInAGoodShape said:

I feel like ever with this new update more and more games of mine have been lagging out. Yesterday was the first time I ever received a queue up timeout purely because games kept lagging out. It's getting to a point where even the games that don't lagg out ill still frequently have lagg spikes when my internet everywhere else seems perfectly fine

yeah it’s been happening to me, but for some reason it’s only during the endgame where it starts lagging

  • @coco_shotz said:

The rework looks and feels incredibly clunky. I'm not really sure what their exact plan was for his gameplay style, but this seems very incoherent and not even close to addressing the problems with his kit. They should revert him back and try again

I’d be fine with them keeping the Mode switching but removing slaughtering strike for now until they can find a better solution that all Myers mains and enjoyers can’t appreciate. (and hopefully it’ll be a rework that dose not compromise his identity over gameplay.)

  • @Dwight_Fairfield said:

Yeah its ironic isn't it. That bundle of tweaks they gave him last year made him stronger than his overall rework did.

When you're making changes to Mikey, nerfs should never even be in the discussion (unless its tombstone). Like my gosh how do you give Kaneki one nerf but you dump several on Michael.

don’t forget about the 10 buffs that Krasue got this patch

  • @StalkingYou said:

they are always so careful when changing ######### m1 killers but then release Krause and ghoul

i’m a be honest I didn’t think ghoul was too much of a problem when he was the first released and this is from my survivor experiences but holy moly what were they cooking with the Krasue

  • @brewingtea said:

I won't play Nurse or Billy. They're too OP.

I won't buy killers like Kaneki or Blight for the same reason.

  • @defaultuk said:

krasue its just brain off and win

If I’m being honest, I especially hate going against her after yesterday because I played three games against Krasues just so I can try and get my iri shards for a trapper cosmetic and when I was one game away from getting that cosmetic I went against three different Krasues the all DC’d because they didn’t get their way. I wasn’t even running anything overpowered. I was just testing out the new poised.

  • @Micheal_Myers said:

Myers is such a good killer and the rework did more harm than good.

Like the title states, Stalker/Pursuer/Evil Incarnate modes are definitely a good change to be able to switch between each.

The only issue is... the "Slaughtering Strike" ability.

I feel like that instead of "OG Myers" being the effect of the "Fragrant Tuft of Hair addon", I feel like "Slaughtering Strike" should be the effect of the "Fragrant Tuft of Hair" addon.

I am a Myers Main, I have been since September of 2018. I feel like the changes are in the right direction but with the wrong boost.

In my honest opinion Slaughtering Strike just made Myers worse. Especially because it has and EXTREMELY Long cool-down on misses and hits. Which makes the "Fragrant Tuft of Hair" addon A NECESSITY!

If we can just have Slaughtering Strike and OG Myers switch places Myers will be in a better spot than what he currently is.

Like most Myers mains can agree, Slaughtering Strike is such a weird innovation that could have been an addon replacement for one of many of Myers' OP Addons. But instead we have it basekit.

I speak for most Myers Mains and people probably starting out to play him first that we need OG Myers as Basekit and Slaughtering Strike as the "Fragrant Tuft of Hair" addon instead.

I am Hopeful a Dev reads this feedback and hopefully makes us Myers enjoyers proud! 🥹🙏

[Tell me your thoughts below] (This post is not a Buff or Nerf suggestion it is to make Myers more acceptable until another solution to make him even better is found)

Yeah, I’m not gonna lie. The rework is kind of the main reason why am refusing to continue P100 Myers

  • @MostBestPlayer said:

I refuse to play: nurse, blight, hillbilly, the twins, the huntress, chucky, ghost face, spirit, leatherface, michael myers, wesker, skull merchant, the legion, DRACULA (100% refusing to play him, didnt even buy him, worst added killer of all time due to the immense amount of power creep)

All of these are either unsatisfyingly strong or just cringe (like chucky and ghost face), or their gameplay is just brainrot

    edit: oh and ghoul

out of sheer honesty I don’t play as spirit not because I hate her or anything, but it’s because my hearing is bad enough as is.

  • @THE_Crazy_Hyena said:

    Twins. Enough said

honestly I find her kind of fun

  • Yeah. I used to love Myers but after the rework his slaughtering strike feels so bad to use. It’s not even funny. Dare I even say he feels weaker than he used to be before the rework. I was originally going to P100 him but now I don’t even want to touch him.

    you cannot stop the chag

  • @PetTheDoggo said:

    For my sake? Pinhead

For sake of others? Ghoul, Krasue

yeah I’m gonna be honest. I cannot bring myself to play Krasue right now. Like I was excited for this killer when she was first revealed, but because of how much they buffed her like I can’t do it. I feel bad if I do.

  • @ReverseVelocity said:

    None of them, really.

The one I play the least is probably Hag, but every now and then I get possessed by some evil spirit and that's all I'll play for a few days. Then it's back to normal.

I like to play hag but exclusively with waterlogged shoe

  • @MarylinMonhoe said:

    Ghoul

Honestly that’s kind of the same reason why I barely play him

  • @TicTac said:

    Skull Merchant.

I did a 5 matches with every killer experiment, but even then i didnt play her. She is P3, but its the only killer except Krasue i never played.

Its a mix of didnt like her at release, too many would dc and now she gets a rework anyway.

I Used to main merchant during her trap killer era but she was gutted i just couldn’t play her anymore

  • @not_Queef said:

This is what I posted in another thread:

    • 10% Hindered for survivors after they escape a trap for x seconds
    • 10% Haste for the killer while a survivor is trapped (to get to the trapped fool faster, or to help in chasing another survivor)
    • Faster trap setting speed (Trapper Gloves basekit)
    • Shack doorways no longer directly trappable (sorry noobs, your lame-o gameplay needs to go)
    • Rework the Iri Stone to "All traps re-arm themselves upon hooking a survivor"
    • Rework Bloody Coil to "Survivors who disarm a trap are Exposed for x seconds"

Additionally, they could scrap the carrying capacity limit completely. It sucks having to set a trap before I can pick one up.

I would also rework the trap escaping mechanism. Rather than making repeated attempts (and potentially escaping on the first try), it should be a single, longer progress bar, like when you're trapped in a locker by Victor and it takes so many seconds to get out.

I doubt they are gonna remove carrying capacity, but I do like a good chunk of the changes that you suggested, especially the iri stone rework

  • @OneGoodBoyDemo said:

The trapper is weak because survivors can disarm his traps without any penalty.

I had made a suggestion that every trap should have a difficult skill check equal to Overcharge or Oppression. if survivors fail the skill check, they are injured and if they succeed, the trap is disabled for the trapper for a period. This would make the basement not so impossible to deal with.

honestly I love the sound of that.

  • @Throw said:

Y'know he's slated for a rework after Skullmerchant and Trickster

    funny joke.

  • @DyingWish92 said:

I like the rework but holy crap do I hate the slaughtering strike. Turning is total crap with it. All survivor has to do is hug a rock, a corner, or make a sharp turn and you aren't hitting it like his old tier 3 lunge. I guess I'm bringing tuft of hair add on every game. Everything else I like about the rework, the slaughtering strike is not good though.

The devs said it was basically extended lunge (and yet for some reason it has reduced turn rate, slides off collision, breaks through pallets, and goes way further than an extended lunge even factoring in coup) totally not a dash don’t worry 👍

exactly its a win win… you get a side game full of lore for people interested in the killer/chapter and others can just get the characters via shards for their perks. Id 100% rather have frank stone then houndmaster… (bc no offense but houndmaster looks more like a cartoon villain…)

I used to main her but the bugs were so insufferable to the point where I just abandoned her

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/457001/wish-there-was-a-good-form-of-anti-tunnel-and-slugging

I can understand your frustration here. Now, you mention not being interested in the version that was on the PTB. Is there something specific that you would find useful to help with tunneling and slugging?

Well, both of them definitely had their problems mainly the anti-tunnel But I feel like anti-slug could’ve had a few adjustments and it would’ve been perfectly fine The main problem with anti-slug was the ability to recover while moving because this made it so you were forced to either pick up instantly even if there was another person nearby so they could go for a flashlight save or a sabo play, or in scenario 2 you see Survivor A is close and you slug Survivor B to go Chase with Survivor A and while you’re busy with that Survivor B can crawl all the way to a corner while recovering to get back up safely during that time which would to you having one down again. if that part of the anti-slug was removed It probably would’ve been completely fine to have the game.

Would u like to try some challenges on the way of p100? I tried it myself, playing 100 games with one perk on Executioner, and feel my way from p20 to p30 despite being long made me finally understanding his mechanics. 50 more games left and I hope I’ll be able to p 40-50 him.

For Rebecca I had other challenge with altruism build. It just makes the way of prestiging more meaningful and beside some hours of grind I also see how my skill grows.

Anyway, gl for your own way to play. Huge respect for Artist

not bad idea, sounds like it would be fun

  • @THE_Crazy_Hyena said:

I fully agree with what @cogsturning said. You really get a lot of useless items and add-ons in those bloodwebs.
I P100'd Sable earlier in the summer, being my first P100 character, and I currently have Feng at P82.
As for killers, I play Wesker, Myers, Doc and Ghoul a bit. Now, I kinda want to P100 Myers, since I absolutely love scaring people with Scratched Mirror.

But not to get off topic here. Do the one that your heart tells you to do. If you like playing Myers and Artist, definitely pick one of them and set your goal to P100 your picked one.
I would totally go for Orela when you decide to do survivor

It’s either Myers or Artist I’m gonna do first

Maybe not reworks, but I remember that pinhead and plague were supposed to get tweaks

Reworks take way too long to work on. Truly. This is something I really hope they speed up with. It’s been almost 2 years since anything for Sadako. She’s awful to play as. My main killer other than Houndmaster.

Sadako needs some love and this is why I wanted to slow down the content. To specifically work on bugs and reworks. It’s just taking WAY too long to get updates for content we already have. It’s depressing.

oh no, I’m not saying that rework should happen more frequently. I’m just saying after a killer is reworked they’re kind of forgotten about a good chunk of the time and don’t really get any changes unless your hillbilly. Like for example, after the nurse rework the devs have not given her a single change since

  • @Foggyguy said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4002560#Comment_4002560

Or it's because of the games coding. Remember this game is held together by used duck tape and some glitter glue. Nurse is so old that if they did anything to her it would probably cause twins to noclip or somehow give survivors machine guns.

I’m pretty sure all you gotta do is sneeze, and that will somehow cause a new twins bug to exist.

  • @Rigbeta said:

The gutting and subsequent neglect of Skull Merchant has left le utterly bereft of any faith in a positive rework that maintains her identity.

I made a post nearly a year ago after her "rework" (actual kneecap removal) about a severely obnoxious bug that causes Drones on completely different floors/elevations above and below removed from the map when hooking a survivor because for some ungodly reason the game counts them as overlapping with the hook Radius. It straight up deletes Drones on a completely different floor. So if you're on Hawkins, midwich, have a drone above the basement, or in a building below, it gets removed when hooking a survivor -_- it wasn't in the game before the rework at all.

    So it's pretty obnoxious.

Jesus Christ there really is no hope for her.

  • @Choaron said:

In Nurse's case it has to be because of preferential treatment. There's no other reasonable argument able to explain why she still is allowed to be an Overwatch character in DBD after almost a decade.

honestly my guess is just kill rate. Since she’s an extremely hard killer to play, and most people will flock to her because they looked up best killer in DBD this ends up with a lot of people, not knowing how to play her and just end up, losing causing low kill rates.

  • @SpitefulHateful said:

The entire Casting of Frank Stone was a huge disappoinment. It was clearly meant to expand DbD lore and attract more players to Dead by Daylight, but BHVR failed it.

    • Logically, Frank Stone had to be the next original Killer to tie in the CoFS to the main universe and give the new players an incentive. It doesn't matter that Frank was mostly M1 killer in the game — DbD could have expanded his abilities in the Entities realm. There are so many opportunities, especially given that his entire theme that he is a "crafted" Killer, groomed by Augustine as her offering to the Entity.
    • We could have had more survivors as interesting as Taurie and Hadie, while expanding the theme of survivors with "mystical" perks and abilities.
    • This game could have been a premise for an entire story-based mode in DbD, because the Casting of Frank Stone had a relatively open ending, so giving players an option to choose or find out what happened to the characters by playing as them in a story mode and unlocking bits of story would have been a good opportunity to try out new things.

But instead, BHVR just dropped the game, didn't follow up with introducing Frank to the DbD Killer cast and went back on milking licenses.

honestly while I personally like the game because DBD’s world is just so interesting to me. I cannot deny the fact that a lot of people did not like this game whether it be for the in your face references or just people getting confused this game did just kind of fail but that ain’t stopping me from wanting Papa Frank to become what he should’ve been all this time.

  • @Smoe said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4001644#Comment_4001644

Maybe with rehashed abilities, but not with being portrayed as an m1 killer, aside from maybe Pyramid Head & Ghostface.

Every other killer have been portrayed in their source material with clear cut aspects of their characters or clear cut abilities that made them stand out as being more than just that of an m1 killer.

Outside of what we've seen from Frank Stone in TCOFS, he doesn't really have any other additional and clear cut abilities that can be translated into a power. So any additional abilities outside of teleportation in spectral form would have be entirely creative liberties on bhvr's part.

I’d honestly disagree, I feel like you can create a pretty unique power for Frank Stone cause there’s kind of a lot that we see in the game that can give us an idea of what to design his power around.

    1. he clearly has counter play in the form of the Camera
    2. Him projecting himself as a form of mobility
    3. he kinda already has Chase music in the game once he’s actually in Augustine‘s mansion
    4. he has some of the best lore by dbd standards, but I feel like that’s kind of expected since its a story focused game.
    5. and bro even has a mori when he kills Sam in Augustine‘s mansion

he basically has damn near everything to classify as a killer aside from an actual power, which I feel like they could definitely design one for him.

Survivors don't like her too much, but Artist has never had any real issues with bugs, never really fell out of the meta.
