I think you're right, amazing_grace and your explanation to me made me understand the subject a little, and he even talked about a solution that streamers gave about decreasing the FPS, BHVR already knows about the problem Or just haven't found a solution for it yet?
And o know it has nothing to do with the subject, but... damn the Demogorgon is really cool to play from what I saw in the video! Is there any chance of him coming back?
I don't know if the devs have a solution, they probably do but are waiting for the Mid-Chapter or the next Chapter to release it.
I doubt Demogorgon will be coming back, but I think you can still buy him with the Nightmare Edition, or with keys

In the last Clip you had the high ping symbol, so I would assume that this situation was indeed due to bad ping, however the Symbol was not present in the other two clips.
Btw, you can see survivor experiencing rubberbanding in Zubat's videos for example, if you have trouble believing it.
~50 ping is not that high, there's was no reason for me too not be able to leave my spawn for a few seconds, or get an entire hit denied
Everyone keeps commenting about Survivors also being affected by rubber-banding, and that sucks.
No one likes getting rubber-banded, but this post is based on my experience, and I haven't experienced any rubber-banding as Survivor, and I have been playing Survivors more than Killer just because of the rubber-banding
Reading is not that hard people

@cburton311 said:
This argument was made by myself and several others prepatch. Same logic applies to lithe too. Any ability that aids the survivors is op and must be neutered. It should be obvious, survivors take perks to help us escape. When they work they are taken away or turned off in the end game.
Someone never played as Killer against good Survivors.
Don't worry, you'll get good at some point, maybe not actually, it's apparently too hard for you to escape without DS during end-game
-
I think players got better and better until they reached a certain point where they realized the meta could carry them without having to really think much, so their skill gradually dropped over time, and now, after the meta shake-up, people have realized they aren't as good as they think they are and are mad about it

How is it a joke when you still genuinely believe something is only affecting killers whenever someone mentions survivor?
I don't believe it only affects Killers, I've only experienced it as Killer, which is why I made that joke.
I'm sorry reading is hard

Which is why I said - Nurse needs a total rework. It's impossible to balance her as things stand.
Or we keep her as is and nerf her op Add-Ons? Her base-kit is fine, Nurse shouldn't get a total rework because people are too lazy to learn how to play against her

Even if it is the servers, that would still be affecting everyone, you're the one talking about "conspiracy" theories and talking like it wouldn't affect survivors.
Because it hasn't affected Survivors, at least in my experience?
The conspiracy theory was a joke, how did it manage to fly over your head?

I love how it's clearly your internet but you've concocted this idea that the devs have turned rubber banding on for killers so survivors have an easier time lmao.
Clearly just ping issues, and not the servers being garbage

WHAT ABOUT THE WORRY STONE
I don't know all of its Add-Ons by name or effect, ok? I'm not a Dredge main, I don't even know all of Demogorgon's Add-Ons by name/effect

what is the rubber-banding?
You basically teleport all over the place, and with Demogorgon, you basically can't use Shred at all
-
Anniversary was rubber-banding free in my experience, and a bit after that too, but it picked up again
-
SB wastes way less time than DH, and also gets countered by multiple Killer Powers, unlike DH which countered multiple Killer Power (which it still does, but less effectively, and to less Powers)
-
Boat Key, Ottomarian Writing and Haddie's Calendar are all better than it, 2 of which have a lower rarity.
It's fine

I've also been rubber banding as survivor. After the patch it was gone for like 2 days, yesterday I experienced it again.
Didn't experience any rubber-banding yesterday, and I only played Survivor because of how bad the rubber-banding is on Killer.
@BrokenSouI said:

Yea. Surprised there isn't more complaining about this. It's been ######### months now. But eh...The changes in game are priority in rioting about ATM
It was fine during the Anniversary, and a bit after, but it's back, and Demogorgon has to once again collect dust until they fix it
-
@Marigoria said:
Rubber-banding affects both sides.
Haven't had any issues with rubber-banding as a Survivor, but Killer is miserable. Had multiple hits refunded, and even lost chases/games because of it

I'm not good at math.
And 67.85% is still a bit too considerate.
Most Killers are easily countered, and their antiloop Powers barely do anything
-

85% of killer roaster have a built in counter to looping.
90% of my defences against killers are tiles and loops which are countered by said killers.
The issue isn't them countering,it's them beign able to mindgame and stop looping at the same time with relative ease.
More so once a pallet dropped and it isn't a stun, goodbye freedom, you're going down in no time, there's barrely any line of sight blockers to consider juking and hiding so just BUY TIME..even 5 seconds.
And yea the SHIFT+ W meta was born because of necessity and not boredom,it was imo the last hope of survivor enjoyment...maybe a miracle stun pallet or line of sight...but no more of these, reduced MS remember?
I mentioned SWIFT + W because killers were complaining it became too strong and "boring" ,because running slow down builds isn't boring and overdone, freaking hypocrites.
The perks I mentioned,Dead Hard,Decisive,Balanced,Borrowed?
You're the one telling me I'm hyperbole, yet from PoV you're the one hyperbole DH & BL yet downplay BT and Decisive nerfs.
Sure the first iterrations of DS were unjustful awful and only when it became an anti tunneling did it any recognition as a good perk..
Borrowed Time had it's down when both survivors would get it...then it was ok..the new BT effects after unhooks?
AWFUL and short, not to mention the killer for some ungodly reason are STILL alerted that an unhook happened, even with BT the tunneling will be easy to do so,a bit of patience chasing another player and picking up the injured trails to tunnel him, that's how good tunnelers do it,atleast in my region.
Dead Hard wasn't able to freaking extend a loop to infinite unless you made multiple mistakes at which point it was a YOU issue and not a DEAD HARD issue, not OP,overrated and lack of better options, yes.
If you tell me like some killers did post "People realise SB is still good" I'll just ignore you..it's an awful exhaustion perk, has been and will be.
Balanced Landing on old Haddonfield was OP,man everything on OLD Haddonfield was OP,new one is so killer sided but it's no problem to you,I'm sure, especially when there are like 6 pallets and 2/3 of it are missing pallets or tiles, just a few houses with useless windows.
By mid 2019 there were no infinites, only huge loops remained of them, still bad but not as bad as before.
When I started, when clown and the shop were released, there were only 3 infinites left,a month after there were some changes and they became long loops, which were still OP..
I hate and I find it despicable that Killers think it's ok to nerf and balance around SWF!
Let's fcking balance killers around Blight and Nurse, sounds good?
I think you need to get out of your comfort zone, swallow that pride of yours and click PLAY SURVIVOR and I'll give you 5 days until you switch your opinion completely.
I don't know where you got that 85% from, but a more realistic number would be around 67.85%
-
TL;DR
DH not op anymore, big sad now
-
If you're losing to "baby" Killers, you and your team are the "babies"
-
Deadlock is pretty good, not meta but it does its job
-
It's fine now, still a good Exhaustion Perks (probably third best now)
-
Demogorgon already was A tier, but he was the worst A tier Killer. Now he's mid-A and that's perfect.
Demogorgon just needs a few Add-On reworks (and 1 base-kit buff, but that's a maybe at best) and he'll be the most perfect Killer in DbD

No, if you were to lazy to 99 SB, you would run DH, lithe was NOT meta, half the reason why I used it
Lithe wasn't meta, but now is.
We're talking about what the new meta is/could be, not what it was

It's LITERALLY the meaning of double standards.
Maybe, but it's an asymmetrical game, Survivors and Killers can't be equal

You mean because it's double standards, lmfao
No. Survivors can't have stacking Endurance Perks because there's 4 of them. If every chase consisted of 3-5 Health States, not even Nurse would be able to win
-
Because they're 2 completely different types of Perks?
-

Lithe, CoH, OtR, are bad perks lmao, especially when they not working on endgame
Tell me you want free wins without telling me you want free wins.
And Lithe and CoH do work after the Exit Gates are powered
-
We don't need to kill every slowdown Perk in the game
-
OTR, Lithe, SB, BT, UB, CoH.
Just the old meta Perks without DH and DS

Yes sure the killer should have the advantage. but if i loop long enough because the killer doesn't know how to loop just for them to get faster at a pallet to down me is frustrating.
i would keep tier one but 2 and 3 need to go
If the Killer doesn't know how to loop, Bloodlust won't make a difference.
Bloodlust only works on 50/50-type Pallets, or on infinites.
If you get the Killer to Bloodlust 2/3, you should be happy to go down, because you wasted a huge amount of time
-
@IlliterateGenocide said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3080780#Comment_3080780
My only issue with the bloodlust issue is that it lowers how much a survivor can loop for there skill or lack there of for killer
And that's ok, because the Killer is supposed to have the advantage in chase.
Bloodlust still is a game-losing mechanic
-
The base 10% faster successful Attack cooldown is fine and should stay.
STBFL could get nerfed, and I personally wouldn't mind it as I hate the Perk, but I've yet to see a reason why it should be nerfed.
The Bloodlust change didn't do anything, using Bloodlust still is a waste do time and means the Killer will lose if Survivors are smart, that's a pure skill issue
-
Lithe and Sprint Burst are more common now, CoH appears from time to time, but I haven't been tracking Perk usage
-

Both those hexes huh? Hmmm, cause my own "basekit" for killers is lightborn and mad grit, so those 2 are stapled on doc, lol
Why those 2 Perks?
-
Haven't seen it used that much, but it did delay tunneling a bit so it did its job
-
@BrokenSouI said:

Maybe for this post. They made like 6 today. All trying to prove the same point. That some things are now unfair for survivors, and that is correct.
I think gen speeds need to go back down to 80. The chase mechanics were enough. STBFL needs looked at. To compensate for the weapon wipe and speed boost reduction. DS stun needs to go back to 5 seconds.
6 posts? What an addict.
I agree with all of those, but I'm iffy on the Generator change.
I'd probably have to see the chase changes with 80 seconds Generators for me to formulate a "smart" opinion on it
-
Seen it once, and it worked only because I allowed it

I can see plaything being an interesting perk for doc, they're oblivious and then they just get shocked, lol
If you're playing Doctor, then secondary objective-like Perks work pretty well. Plaything+Pentimento come to mind
-
@BrokenSouI said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3079397#Comment_3079397
Their point isn't killers are getting bored. The point in many of their posts. Are that the changes made it too easy for killers. And too hard for survivors.
They're not completly wrong. There are broken things going against survivos now. That need changed/looked at. They're just not doing a good job of making their point
The point of this post is that Killer mains are getting bored, which is wrong.
As to there being broken things on the Killer side, I agree. Thanataphobia needs a look at, Eruption Incapacitating Survivors for 25 seconds is too much, DS is pretty much useless, etc..., but most of my problems are with the Perk changes, the base-kit changes are fine
-
Grim Embrace could work, but it's pretty weak.
Hex: Plaything works as indirect slowdown.
Hex: Pentimento also, but it mostly only works with Hex: Plaything.
Hex: Ruin is now off-meta, but extremely weak.
Jolt, but only if you're playing an M1 Killer.
Overcharge got nerfed and is kinda meh, but could work with Call Of Brine.
Pop Goes The Weasel also got nerfed and isn't meta anymore.
Remember Me if you're into end-game.
Scourge Hook: Gift Of Pain is pretty good now, tho I doubt it's meta.
Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance lost its information aspect, but its slowdown aspect has been buffed. Whether is a net-buff or net-nerf, that's on you.
Sloppy Butcher for healing slowdown, but only for M1 Killers, Scourge Hook: Gift Of Pain for M2 Killers.
Thrilling Tremors also works, but it's more an info Perk than slowdown
-
@BrokenSouI said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3079285#Comment_3079285
To be fair. They're not completly wrong. They're just not doing a good job of making their point. Or articulating themselves very well.
Their point is wrong.
Killer mains aren't starting to get bored, Killers that continue to run 4 slowdowns are starting to get bored, and those aren't all Killer mains, just a minority.
Running 1-0 slowdown Perks is fun, because you can run everything else
-
I'm currently just leveling my Freddy and Pig, have yet to get their Perks at Tier 3, but after that, all my Bloodpoints are going straight to Demogorgon
-
So you can post other people's videos, but not your own. Makes me doubt you even play Killer in the first place, not that I believed you anyway
-
@Kira4Evr said:

Yes, they nerfed Ruin and Pop, which is good. But they buffed Thanataphobia, Gift of Pain, Surge(not complaining) and the slowdown Pain Resonance is the same.
2 of those weren't meta Perks and still aren't, and Thanataphobia was and still is only good on Plague and Legion.
Pain Resonance actually got its slowdown buffed, but for most Killers, it was the info that made the Perk really good
