I haven't went against a cheater (better known as a waste of oxygen) that cheated their Prestige level yet, but I have went against a total of 3 subtle oxygen wasters in a matter of 2 days.
The first one was playing on their own, and stopped being subtle once I got a couple of Hooks, and the other 2 had subtle speed cheats, the Claire had Jill's Christmas sweater (which was either a glitch or a cosmetic cheat), they only revealed their cheats when the whole Survivor team screamed at once without me running a single Perk to cause that
-
It was overpowered, now it still is the best Exhaustion Perk, but counterable

Oh jeez what an awful design. I've been playing against Pinhead since he came out and I had no idea you had to dodge a specific number of chains in order for it to let you solve it. If you get hit by a chain does it reset the number? What if you break one of them on the environment, does the extra chain count?
If you get hit, you won't have time to break out and start working on it, you'll have to dodge another wave.
If you get hit and break a chain with the environment, you can start working on it but not exactly right after, as breaking a chain on the environment will "respawn" it, and you'll have to dodge that one aswell

What? Why doesn't it say that anywhere in the game? Are players just supposed to guess that?
I'm pretty sure it says that Survivors holding the box will get attacked by chains.
However, Killer Power descriptions never specify numbers, so yeah, Survivors are supposed to play against (or as) a Killer multiple times to learn how to counter them

How do you solve the box if the chains keep stopping you?
You dodge a wave (3 chains), and start working on it
-
People still don't know how to counter Pinhead???

Huh so I'm in the worst 1% of players getting iridescent 1 two months in a row on survivor. I'm pretty mediocre, but I'm certainly not the worst by a long shot. Yet vast majority of my games, about half being swf we are lucky to get even 1 Gen now. It is just comical how fast we can die with these changes. At least most games take less than 5 mins now.
You're lucky to get 1 Generator done? My bad, 0.1%

Just play Pig and block a box. With certain addons you will guaranteed 1-2k every single match.
That isn't a win and it's been taken out of the game
-
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I've yet to go AFK and still get a win, so your term "free win" isn't all that accurate

Honestly after this patch I normally just run 2 and I have good games I don't win all of then but most of them are fun and I feel like I'm always in it.
Same, even pre-patch I was only running 2 slowdown Perks

Wraith is weak.

Its not about making slowdown useless but actually controlled. Slowdown perks can be strong by themselves or in a combo but not completely oppressive because if you can only run 2 slowdown then the perks can be balanced around only having 2 instead of balancing around the chance that 4 might be ran.
Who even runs 4 slowdown Perks? At most I've seen 3, 1 of those being Corrupt Intervention

Not when Maps are still this atrocious

Good for you, that makes like 1% of the playerbase out there. For the other 99% of survivors, we are all dead before 1 gen now.
That's also only 1% of the playerbase, called "The Bad Players"

at this point i wonder what's the killer meta, you know? everything that could be useful was heavily nerfed and honestly i don't consider CoB and Overcharge meta for the simple fact that if people are able to hit great skillchecks those 2 perks are essentially useless
Discordance and Lethal Pursuer are meta depending on the Killer.
Discordance on Killers without good Aura-reading Add-Ons, and Lethal for the Killers with.
For slowdown, probably passive ones, Jolt, PR, maybe even Deadlock
-
The Survivors I'm getting have been getting better and better, I've had to sacrifice Dark Devotion for another Generator slowdown Perk (from 2 to 1 and now back to 2) if I want to win before the Generators are finished. If I don't, I'd continue rocking Deadlock on its own for mid-game slowdown and No Way Out for end-game.
Here's a quick prediction on my part about the meta:
Survivors will start running Prove Thyself consistently, which will result in a higher pick rate for Discordance, especially on Killers that don't have good Aura-reading Add-Ons, at which point I'd swap Discordance with Lethal Pursuer

No, you are wrong. I said its ok for me and others to have negative feelings about it. That isnt being a baby, not liking the way he plaqyed isnt being a baby, nor is me asking him why. camping is never smart unless there is strategic reason but he didnt have a strategic reason, he never set up more than 1 trap over there and he didnt trade for hooks he legit was turning it into a 1v3, not necessary. if he was playing smart hed have set up a 3 gen with trapper and actually place traps and put some effort. doing the bare minimum not smart, and the only one being immature would be you for coming into a post and insulting someone for stating what most of the player base feels. Yeah camping and tunneling are fine gameplay styles but doesnt make them fun or fair in certain scenarios and its ok to call out bad mechanics. I bet if i was calling out swf youd be fine tho right?
No one has to explain why they did anything to you. Now you're an entitled baby.
I wouldn't be fine if you called SWF a "bad mechanic", because it isn't
-
The game's been dying since its beta
-
At one point I just got bored and went AFK and listened to some music.
I don't understand how someone can be so pathetic to cheat, and even try to hide to for a bit

Just had a game against a hacker, was fun getting blinded from under the Map or wherever that Nea was

There is the possibility that person got a progress loss refund in the past and saved the millions of Blood Points they received and spent them to get to P100 on a single character, which sounds a bit farfetched, but could be an explanation.
Off-topic but is posting a hackers name on the Forums (with proof) in the hopes of getting them banned, bannable?
-
I don't know why others are camping/tunneling, but here are my reasons.
Camping:
- With the increased time it takes to complete Generators, Survivors get bored even quicker now and end up rushing the Hook. Why should I leave?
- 3-Genning is even stronger now with the 90 second Generators, why shouldn't I force one early?
Tunneling:
- With the general Killer chase buffs, Survivors are scared to loop the Killer (especially now that Dead Hard isn't a free chase extender anymore) and take aggro, resulting in unsafe saves in the vicinity of the Killer (thanks to the base-kit BT) and then leaving the unhooked Survivor to die.
- With Generators now being slower and general chase buffs, tunneling even a good Survivor is now easily achievable. Tunneling the weak link of the team (which is the smartest play you could make as a Killer) is now brain-dead easy and efficient

why to force a 3 gen? just because azarovs is good for that doesnt mean you need to do that sort of crap and on top of that if its his choice then fine but its not like anyone is a baby for being upset at such a style of gameplay
You are acting like a baby.
You are complaining about how someone played smart and beat you in a game of Dead By Daylight
-
Ghostface needs buffs, he's an M1 Killer with an easily countered stealth Power
-
Isn't Azarovs the bone-shaped Map, like Suffocation Pit?
Depending on where he downed and hooked Zarina, he had no reason to leave her
-
Deathslinger is weak enough as is, let him have this 1 upside
-
They have never made a good, balanced Map
-
Skill issue, please delete the game
-
How is DS going to affect Demogorgon?
-
I'd love a summary. I don't care if it's the whole stream or just the DbD related bits, I'm not in the mood to watch an entire stream to forget half of it due to my bad memory

My Survivor build also contains 2 second chance Perks, tho mine are way, way less meta.
Flip-Flop and Tenacity work pretty well together, but they still kinda suck
-
BBQ isn't meta (and realistically never was). The info is mediocre at best
-
While I like these ideas, I don't think Nr. 3 would do much, I'd rather his Remnant Teleport and Locker Teleport have different cooldowns

I hv bought it and i Really like yeah it cant beat the Doll and Default Skin butist still looks very cool for me :) that Head whit the hole looks very Disgusting 😅 But yeah they maybe should Add more Arms in the fog Body so it didnt looks so Empty..... I mean not many players notice it but they also has removed some fog of the event skin so you can see the Masks on his back much better maybe they will Update the new 1 too :)
If the body was less "naked", I think it'd beat both the default and doll skin. The Anniversary one however is the best Dredge skin we currently have imo

My hours on Fortnite prior to crossplay and after crossplay say otherwise.
What do your hours on a third-person BR have to do with the asymmetrical 1v4 "Super Smash Brothers Of Horror"?

I play Deathslinger and Huntress on PS4, it's not a skill issue. And teleporting to the box is not skill-related, it's just game management. And the Tinkerer notification never goes away.
I'm saying that complaining about Pinhead is a skill issue, beating him isn't hard, even in SoloQ.
Who cares if the notification never goes away?
His teleport is useless, borderline detrimental. If you have trouble beating Pinhead, ask for tips instead of asking if he's "lore accurate" and that "he needs a rework" because he has "the highest kill rate"
-
The new one looks...off. I don't know what about it feels off, maybe it's because the body is just the fog and a few hands crawling out with a lazy looking appearing and dissappearing animation, but I don't like it.
The left arm however looks amazing. Dredge is (imo) unplayable without Shadowborn. It's too big and covers too much if the screen (especially the doll one), but this one looks good (in the Shop, I still haven't bought it because of the body)

No mechanic in this game is that hard to understand once you have enough hours put into. He has infinite Tinkerer because whenever a survivor tries to solve the box, Pinhead gets a notification to go there. How many DBD players have complained about the labyrinth that are RPD's hallways and corridors? Pinhead doesn't need to be bothered with it. He just teleports wherever whenever he gets the Tinkerer notification.
I'm not complaining about Nurse. She's kinda spooky and Pinhead's kinda lame.
Uh, some mechanics need a few more time put into them to be understood, like Pinhead's teleport.
Teleporting to the box is usually a waste of time and loses your pressure, but you don't know that because you've never played him, and don't know how to play against him.
Skill issue

Nurse is suboptimal on Switch, controller, last gen, and new gen. PC MKB players -- nothing against them -- with at least ten hours on Nurse do not have the lowest kill rate in the game. There's no practice mode with bots, either, and she has a high skill floor. Survivors can be bad, that doesn't mean that Pinhead doesn't ask much of the player. Infinite stall, infinite Tinkerer notifications.
Every Killer is suboptimal on Switch.
Nurse is a worse on controller, but not suboptimal and still playable.
10 hours on Nurse don't mean much, play 10 hours on Nurse and show us results of you playing against equally skilled Survivors.
Pinhead doesn't have infinite stall, he has a 1v4 Power that is fully in the hands of the Survivors. The only way he'll find the box is if he's lucky or the Survivors showed it to him.
Infinite Tinkerer? Since when does Pinhead have Tinkerer in his base-kit? You even played h-oh wait you don't even have him.
Disscussing Pinhead with you is worthless, I see

He has the highest kill rate in the game.
And the majority of the Survivors are bad at the game, therefore an M1 Killer like Pinhead with a passive that hinders them (like Pig, who also had a high kill rate) has a high kill rate.
Also Nurse has the lowest kill rate so those statics don't really mean anything
-
He's a weak Killer, he needs buffs
-
Survivor pre-patch: MoM, CoH, Kindred, Empathy
Survivor after patch: Kindred, Fast Track, Tenacity, Flip-Flop
My Survivor build got slightly less meme-ier
Killer: Demogorgon
Pre-patch: Lethal Pursuer, Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, Pop Goes The Weasel, I'm All Ears
After patch: Lethal Pursuer, I'm All Ears, Deadlock and whatever I'm feeling or a full stealth build
-
I haven't gotten any Plagues with Thanataphobia, but I have gotten a few Legions with it and it wasn't the hell I've expected it to be.
Granted, I'm at the bottom of the SBMM barrel, my friend and I have been running random Perks ever since the update came out, but we still manage to escape

Bro, even as a survivor main, I know this proves nothing. It's Nurse. A good Nurse can beat ANY team with any perks, items, and add on combinations
If you said 300 wins in a row with Trapper, I'd be a little more impressed.
That's straight up false lol. A Nurse can't win without Perks agaisnt a good 4man

I'm also a big fan of sitting on a hill if you have a view of 4 or more gens from it. Why go looking for those filthy survivors? They'll show themselves eventually.
Hills are probably better than Lethal, but only if you're playing Demogorgon or a Killer that can fly off of them
