I assume kill rates will go down a bit once the patch settles in and most of the complainers leave the game

Ooo you tried lethal with I'm all ears yet? Haven't tried it myself
I did, and man is it fun. Survivors double-back on Windows a lot.
So many free Shreds because most Survivors don't even know that Perk exists.
Probably a better chase Perk than Save The Best For Last

*Laughs in Lithe+Distortion user*
Sorry
I'll eat all of your Distortion Tokens with Leprose Lichen
-
Lithe.
It's not overpowered, it's not boring, I generally like going against Lithe, but I shed a tear every time someone uses Lithe and I get almost no use out of I'm All Ears
-
If you think that is good, you've yet to try Lethal Pursuer with I'm All Ears.
8 seconds of wall-hacks on a Killer with an antiloop Power (like Demogorgon) is insane
-
Evil Dead: The Game is pretty fun, but it's completely different from DbD
-
On Demogorgon, the only slowdown Perk I use is Deadlock.
The rest of my Perks are Lethal Pursuer, I'm All Ears and whatever I'm feeling at the time, tried STBFL but I still don't see a reason to use it
-
DS should have its stun duration buffed to 5 seconds again.
Iron Will got a deserved nerf, but I think they went too far. It being useless while Exhausted isn't needed imo.
@Lukepro2315 said:
I dont care about DS or DH nerfs. It can be always replaced with something...but Iron Will? That was breaking point for me. Im refusing to play this game without it (after 6 years & over 3000 hours).
And because im afraid BHVR will not do anything about it, it seems like i quit for good. :)
Quitting because of a Perk change? You're pathetic

What this update for survs is.... Is boring. I'm not talking about balance.... I'm talking about game enjoyment, which is 0. How could they potential the most unfun part of being a surv? For real.
Gens have always been boring, 10 extra seconds don't mean anything in that regard
-
You still haven't said anything other than "I went against bad Survivors and won so the game was balanced"
-
If you think the update is bad and Survivor is "dead" or "unplayable", you weren't good at Survivor

Shows absolutely no knowledge on Survivor yet tries to critique me
Yes, I'll critique whatever is wrong.
And I probably do have more knowledge than you
-
The ones complaining about Survivor being dead never had "skill" to begin with

Okay mr killer main lmao
Calls an extremely skillless game skillful, proceeds to expose the fact that they only play against bad Survivors, calls me a Killer main for exposing their inability to be good at the game.
Sigma energy
-
Dead hard for distance was the easiest use to fake lmao.
This right here disproves all of your points. If you were baiting Dead Hard for distance, you were facing Survivors with less than 1/2 of a brain cell

And yet Pain Resonance...
Got its information nerfed because the devs wanted to create a new meta instead of just nerfing the OP Perks
-
Survivors have 16 Perks, the Killer has 4.
Having a Killer Perk with 2 effects isn't the end of the world
-
I think like 4.
Demogorgon, Steve, Blight and Twins
-
You don't need to be toxic to get tunneled, just bad or unfortunate
-
I haven't noticed a problem with breaking Locks
-
Wait till you go against good Survivors that buddy up, you'll get lucky to pick a single Survivor up

And guess how many survivors don't know how to look behind them in a chase while running in a straight line? I've been playing for over 2 years with nearly 2500 hours as survivor and I still see survivors not doing this all the time. I have argued before that this game needs to fundamentally change. How it plays overall needs to change. Saying the survivors who don't want to "get good" should just quit is not the answer here. Its just not reasonable to expect the majority of survivor mains to play like the top skilled players. Its just not going to happen.
Man, I didn't know running in a straight line and looking backwards was so difficult, everyone who does that is a comp player

I never said DH was the only means survivors were having fun in this game so I don't know why you replied in such a way to imply that. You're completely missing the point which was this perk offered a lot of fun to survivors and the way it offered fun before is changing, which may not be received well on the survivor side of the game. DH is by no means a "free, uncounterable chase extender." This perk requires skill to use successfully and it also had to be used in the right places or even dodging an attack with it can get you downed. I've now had 5 matches in a row tonight that ended in a quick 4k for the killers and all the survivors that had DH didn't helped them out of any of those matches. Most survivor mains don't play this game on a sweaty level so balance changes like this are just going to make the game more frustrating to play for the majority of survivor mains in my opinion.
Whose fault is it that the majority of the Survivor playerbase is bad at the game? The game shouldn't be balanced around the people who don't know how to play the game, simple as.
If they're not having fun, and also don't want to get good, they should stop playing.
Also, Dead Hard isn't hard to use, it's only hard for the Survivors that can't look behind them in chase while running in a straight line
-

The DH change is going to take a fun factor away from survivors that was the center of the most exciting and fun plays they ever had since it was added into the game. This is probably the riskiest perk change ever for game balance. I don't know what the overall reaction is going to be when it goes live but I do know that if there is enough backlash to its change I wouldn't doubt if DH goes back to the drawing board.
If Survivors had fun only because they had a free, uncounterable chase extender, they weren't having fun because of the Perk, they were having fun because of the easy wins the Perk granted
-
Evil Dead: The Game is pretty fun, tho Demon is frustrating when you first start out

Oh you know no one is worthy enough to be in the same tier as the love of my life.
I thought you and Spirit broke up
-
Demogorgon is too low
-
That's a backwards way of nerfing Nurse (a Killer that doesn't even need base-kit nerfs)
-
You messed your initial Escape attempt when your 3 teammates died, then failed the second attempt, and instead of attempting the third, you want to add a forth chance to escape.
How bad can one be at Dead By Daylight?
-
Would be cool if I could have Demogorgon and Steve be the only ones with the portrait, but having random characters like Blight or Twins will ruin it imo
-
She still was meta because of MDR+DCB, but with the upcoming IW nerf, her base-kit will probably be meta aswell

S++ against bad solos, but that is every Killer

We got artist and arguably pinhead not very long ago.
Pinhead, a Killer that can't even control his own Power, is A tier?
-
Fearmonger and Distortion.
Fearmonger hard-counters Empathy while Distortion counters Leprose Lichen
-
My build will probably be:
MoM, Botany, CoH, Empathy

imo he should have less knifes but his main event should get buffed in return.
I don't see a reason why you can miss 40 knifes but still down someone.
Don't get me wrong i think he s a bad killer still and he should get buffs but i really don't like that he can just miss more knifes than i have seen in my entire life and still down someone...
He can't miss 40 knives, he'd only have 4 left, at which point he won't be able to down you anymore
-
His knife amount already got nerfed, he'd barely a D tier Killer, pure skill issue
-
Survivors who complete Generators shouldn't get Pips.
Balance
-
I'd enjoy it way more if its Locker Teleport was more consistent and if its 1v1 existed
-
Killer is unfun, Survivor is boring.
Play Evil Dead, way more fun

thats why most of them have X value since when this is balanced that shouldn't happen.
Also it's not like people will just drop their main survivor they like just because claudette gives 3% more healing speed on others.
Might make some survivors rarer than others but right now they are all skins and the favorite skins of people are meg and claudette anyways
Plenty of Survivors would swap their main for an advantage, I know plenty of people that main Ace just because he has an in-built Iron Will
-
What a great way to make it so you'll only ever see 3-5 Survivors
-
Nerf her Add-Ons, but if you die to an Add-Onless Nurse, it was a skill issue
-
We're not getting anything else
-
Alien definetly.
I've made a few concepts for it, but copying and pasting them here would take too long

Because Myers is better

I mean sure you can count it as a Health State however it literally has an icon to your right where other status effect are.
The wiki has it both under "Health States" and "Status HUD" sooo...
Imo this is neither an argument for it or against it. I'd like Vigil to get a buff so why not? The current use case is in a Self-Aware build with any kind of Exhaustion perk. I see no real problem making it also decent against Deep Wounds by either making mending faster or by making the deep wound timer longer. Vigil has only a few scenarios when it works, and even when it works it almost doesnt do anything. Giving it more scenarios where it can do something, even if it's just a little, is a nice way to buff it without reworking it or making it OP.
But that wouldn't fit Vigil, as Vigil only works on passive effects.
Mending isn't a passive action, it's something you have to do yourself
-

since Deep Wounds literally is a status effect (you can see it on the right as a red icon much like Exhaustion or Exposed) that honestly would be nice. My only concern is that Vigil could become a strong Legion counter and I don't like when 1 single perk shuts a killer down.
sounds good to me, it could also change so the deep wound timer lasts longer instead of mending faster. That way you can actually open an exit gate after going into the deep wound state.
This might be too strong though so i dont know.
I'm pretty sure Deep Wound is a type of Health State instead of a Status Effect
-
These Perks aren't exactly "general Perks", as all of them are part of Killer concepts I've made in the past, but I'll show them off anyway.
Hex: Feed Upon Fear
A Hex that roots its power on the fear of the Survivors.
- Survivors don't lose the Exhausted Status Effect when hooked
- The Exhaustion Status Effect recovers 25%/30%/35% slower
Adaptability
Your uncanny ability to easily adapt to your environment intrigues The Entity.
- Gain the Undetectable Status Effect at the start of The Trial for 40/45/50 seconds
Scourge Hook: Biomechanical Threat
Your special biology confuses and scares the Survivors, creating a special bond with The Entity
- 4 random Hooks will be turned into Scourge Hooks, and their Aura will be revealed to you in white
- Hooking a Survivor on a Scourge Hook will activate Scourge Hook: Biomechanical Threat
- While Scourge Hook: Biomechanical Threat is active, all Survivors will be afflicted by the Oblivious Status Effect
- The Oblivious Status Effect will persist for 10/20/30 seconds after a Survivor is unhooked from a Scourge Hook
Monstrosity
Your monstrous state allows you to hinder Survivors and impede their escape.
- Start The Trial with 2/3/4 Tokens
- To use a Token, you'll have to break 4/3/2 Pallets
- Once all requirements have been met, vaulting a Window will destroy the Window, rendering it useless for the remainder of The Trial
- Destroying a Window will use up a Token
Evolution
Evolution is what kept you alive. The more you evolved, the deadlier you became.
- Start The Trial with 5 Tokens
- Each time a Generator is completed, lose a Token
- All bonuses from a Token are lost when you lose it
- At 5 Tokens, all interactions (breaking Pallets and Breakable Walls, vaulting, picking up etc.) are sped by 5%/7%/9%
- At 4 Tokens, get a movement speed boost of 3%/4%/5%
- At 3 Tokens, the successful Attack cooldown is reduced by 10%/15%/20%
- At 2 Tokens, every 80/70/60 seconds, your next Basic Attack will put the Survivor into the Dying State
- At 1 Token, all Survivors will be suffering from the Oblivious Status Effect for 25/35/45 seconds and the Exhausted Status Effect for 40/50/60 seconds every 80/70/60 seconds
- At 0 Tokens, Evolution deactivates
-
Killer:
Demogorgon
Artist
Survivor:
Steve
Ash
