Free skins were never a good idea?
"Free" skins that I have to pay for an unrelated subscription that I will never use to acquire never were a good idea, yes
-
Hopefully never.
Prime skins were never a good idea imo
-
Pathetic.
You're the reason the DC penalty exists
-
Demogorgon: Midwich/RPD
Shred has a deceptively large hit-box, and with these Maps having pretty tight hallways, you get quite a lot of free hits

Define smart survivors.
Aren't caught in the open, split up on Generators, take hits and aggro when needed, loop or ShiftW depending on the situation and don't fall for usual mingames.
Some of the things on the top of my head

Oh it absolutely does make a difference. Trickster is similar to how a first person shooter works, and as someone with experience with shooters on mouse vs. controller stick there is a major difference.
I agree that high walls beat Trickster. Heck, the main building of Crotus Prenn is my kryptonite. It's not over for Trickster though. Getting creative with your knives and mindgaming can get you quick downs on high-walls. I can show you proof of that if you'd like. Trickster is more complicated than people think.
I genuinely doubt creativity will get you wins against smart Survivors

Worst? That is straight up not true.
I agree with that he heavily relies on slowdown perks. But you're also right that this is true for other killers. Let's say the upcoming update alleviates that issue a little. What else does he have?
Trickster is hard to use because your ability to aim and mindgame with knives is how you win as him. I see so many situations of mediocre Trickster mains missing so many hits that an expert Trickster would land most of them and make the chase significantly shorter (and to be fair, I'm an average Trickster. Not an expert). I would have so many more 4ks if I had a mouse to aim on.
A mouse wouldn't make a difference. Trickster is bad in the 1v1 if the Survivor is smart and uses ShiftW with high-wall'd loops

Unless you're that survivor and then it's of course a loss. Just because the killer doesn't win doesn't mean you didn't lose.
Also you can easily face camp 2 people out of the game before all 5 get done. it happens ALL the time. It doesn't matter if you're good or not you can get one-shot or caught off guard.
You're not telling me anything by saying it's winnable against. I KNOW it is. I've done it a dozen times. I also know it's still very easy to lose it..
It shouldn't be as effective as it is. Point - blank - period. Nothing, NOTHING you can say will change my opinion because the stats speak for themselves.
Please provide me with stats that show that face-camping is a strat that good Survivors (not the casual Survivors you get in SoloQ, 4 good Survivors working in a SWF) regularly lose against

Butter-Shreds or 360° Shreds

I meant if you're face camping in general. I forgot that segment and only remembered the intent.
But I stand by it
Also you can definitely lose to a face camping killer. You could be the first one found and camped.
You also can't control what randos do.
Also with things like Dying light or gens being spaced out or people not knowing maps? you can very easily lose to face camping. Especially to a killer with one-shots.
Dying Light does almost nothing if a Killer face-camps their first down, they'll get 2-3 Tokens at most.
Being camped to death while 3 other Survivors escape isn't a loss, it's a win.
You also can't control what randos do.

What you're talking about are skill issues and Survivors being bad at the game, so my point of "Losing against a face-camping Killer means the Survivors were bad" still stands

Thanks! I definitely need help with finding survivors without that info. But still looking for slowdown perk suggestions.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3051257#Comment_3051257
I mean, yes they all do. But don't act like Trickster is amongst the cream of the crop lmao
I'm not, he's among the worst Killers in the game, with a situational 1v1 that only works if Survivors allow it and without any 1v4 pressure
-
I wouldn't say I've spent too much money on cosmetics, but I have bought every Demogorgon and Artist skin, and every Steve skin (not Jonathan tho), along with a couple of cosmetic pieces on Trickster, Oni, Twins, Nurse, Ghostface and probably a couple more

No one said anything about winning or losing. You're making your own rant / argument that I didn't state a thing about.
Enjoy running with it.
It's a tactic used by killers who are bad at the game who need to force a win to feel worth.
"No one said anything about winning or losing".
You're no one?
-
A lot of Killers (any Killer that isn't Blight or Nurse) need slowdown and information Perks to have a chance at winning
-
@Gamall said:
Are you serious? That is one of the best map to play as killer. I think you never tried Badham at this point
It's not.
It has way too many Breakable Walls that have to be broken so the loops are playable, and the main building is unwinnable with most Killers, and with the Map being so small, leaving at least half of your chases thanks to the main building will be inevitable
-
The Map was terrible gameplay wise
-
Just because Demogorgon isn't in the store anymore doesn't mean he isn't a Killer
-
A WW2 soldier that is able to pull the Survivors into some kind of trauma world, similar to old Freddy.
A Killer that is part of The Entity itself, corrupted by the Blight Serum, able to use the Survivors emotions against them.
A ranged Hit N Run Killer, able to throw some kind of projectile at the Survivors that doesn't inflict damage but will allow the Killer to afflict them with some kind of debuff (currently working on this one for an Eligos concept)
-
An exp. booster would've been 10x better than the portrait.
That way, you could get rewarded for playing a Killer/Survivor you already have everything on
-
Your lack of a negativity bias or whatever is called is the reason you don't get as "many" miserable games as most other players
-
He is boring and bad
-
Wooden Strike and Walls Of Opportunity should be part of Mr. X's Power, not Perks
-
This one ^
-
Alien, no question.
Predator would be cool, but I feel like Alien fits the game more
-
I'll probably run 2 slowdown Perks or 1 Generator slowdown Perk and No Way Out for end-game
-
I haven't gotten a Demogorgon in such a long time
-
I've had the Hatch spawn right under my feet plenty of times

Just know I’m not in love with Artist so people don’t start thinking that. I just find her fun to play.
That's a shame
-
It's so nice that you went from Spirit fan to Artist enjoyer, couldn't respect you more (
that's a lie, being a Demobro would've been even better) -
Demogorgon.
Because Demogorgon

Pausing the Hook timer will never work because of how abuseable it is

Oh, OK, by trying to insult me u just actually prove that dbd comunity is toxic. So yeah, I can be really good at loops but still die to camper
If you're team is good (or the Killer isn't a Bubba), you shouldn't die to a camper, but since you apparently are, your team must be bad

Lol, u are funny u know
The only funny thing here is your teams (or quite possibly your) inability to get good.
I'll assume that your team gets tunneled and camped every game. Why would that happen?
Tunneling and camping are efficient playstyles only when there is a weak link in the team. Removing that weak link quickly leads to snowballs which then lead to a Killer win.
Since either one of your teammates or you is getting tunneled, that means there's a weak link the Killer can abuse and lead them to a swift victory.
This is just a git gud issue

Wait, on your logic survs not allowed to play "efficiently" as well, is in it???
When did I ever say Survivors aren't allowed to do Generators?
-
Killers aren't allowed to play efficiently?

Myers: Michelle Miyerez
Trickster: Daddy
Artist: Mommy
Victor: Vixotr

I tried out this and I really enjoyed it. What would you change pain resonance to once the perk update drops tho?
Either keep it, since 15% of 90 is 13.5 seconds worth of progress, or change it for Eruption, tho I'd have to experiment with it
-
Demogorgon is the stronger Killer.
Demo having to set up his Portals isn't as big of a deal as most make it out to be, and they grant more information and consistent Map mobility than Lockers, and they also work as passive slowdown.
Demogorgon has Shred, which counters the majority of loops, while Dredge has a situational antiloop that only works if the Survivors are bad.
Demo also has better Add-Ons, and is more fun to play

Does anyone know how this is possible? He stayed for at least 14 seconds close to me, not knowing where my teammate was, and then when my teammate tried to unhook, he just straight up grabbed my teammate and hooked him nearby.
The range for the Cage relocation is quite small.

It's called face camping, girl.
It's a tactic used by killers who are bad at the game who need to force a win to feel worth.
If the Survivor team loses against a face-camping Killer, it's the Survivors that were bad.
Face-Camping is one of the most inefficient moves a Killer can pull. If the Survivors manage to lose against a Killer that is standing in a single area, they are bad

Does anyone even remember the old animations? I forgot about them as soon as the "new" ones were released

Yeah I stay away from Puppeteer rofl, I just stick to Necromancer, he's super fun
I don't like Necromancer that much, the Basic Units feel a bit sluggish, so do his Elite Units. Evil Ash is fun, but since he is a Boss Unit I don't get to play with him that much.
Puppeteer is the opposite imo.
Deadite Berserkers are fast and can dish out plenty of damage while Power Possesed. Their only problem is having to stick to a single combo (Light, Light, Light, Heavy) if you want to avoid their multiple taunt animations.
Demi-Eligos deal a lot of damage and can wreak havoc when Survivors are crowded, and can force crowds by splitting, as weak as the clone can be sometimes.
Eligos is fun, and his low Infernal Energy cost makes him a nuisance even when objectives aren't currently being worked on

There are survivor sided maps and killer sided maps, but killer sided maps are okay and survivor sided ones aren't?
If we're fixing anywhere it needs to be swamp. ZERO people enjoy Swamp. It's a terrible freaking map in ANY variant.
The fact is that you can't even say Gideon is survivor sided. Pallets are useless against Huntress, Nurse, Legion ( ESPECIALLY with their add-on that breaks pallets when Legion slides over them ) and ESPECIALLY with Dredge's perk that breaks pallets when SURVIVORS slide over them " Dissolution "
Gideon being an indoor Map hard-counters Huntress and the bogus amount of God Pallets make playing any M1 Killer (Legion included) unbearable.
Are you honestly complaining about Dissolution, the Perk that reveals itself to Survivors and is only active for 20 seconds 3 seconds after a Survivor got hit? You don't even need to vault Pallets on The Game, just ShiftW from 1 God Pallet to another and Dissolution doesn't exist anymore
-
From worst to "best":
Trapper, Pig, Deathslinger, Clown, Freddy

This.
It'd make testing out the butter-shredding capabilities of each Map way easier

Base kit Nurse needs a nerf along with her add-ons. Blight's add-ons def need to be looked at. Every other killer either is #1. in a good spot overall (not many) #2. Has terrible add-ons that need to be reworked (quite a few) #3. has a lackluster basekit that only add-ons make decent or good, or #4. Has both a bad basekit and bad add-ons.
Like where tf are the killer buffs? Deathslinger, Pig, Trapper, Wraith, Sadako, Myers, Doctor, the list goes on. All these killers (and many more) have major issues that need to be addressed, but it's like every mid-chapter I look at the patch notes and all I see is disappointment.
How is the poster-boy of DbD (Trapper) still a mediocre to downright terrible killer after both a rework and many buffs? Jeez, DbD is such a joke sometimes.
Anyways on a side-note the Evil Dead game is really fun. Been enjoying that way more than DbD.
Evil Dead is really fun, but Demon (especially Puppeteer) can be so life draining
-
Agreed, majority of Killer base-kits need buffs
-
No, I don't hate any particular Killer
-
Mid-B tier.
Antiloop doesn't exist, but he has good mobility, tho it is quite situational
-
Didn't use it before the change, but I might now
