I aggree with Nullspec in parts.
It is unbelievable that they have since may not found the time to make the Legion fun again, without those stupid stuns.
And I don't want to start here with the fact that nobody had ask for such a update as it had hit the Legion on may.
Sure, the people wanted to have the exploits fixed and many liked to see the op addons go, including me, but that was it.
And well... My parents have teach me... "If you break something, it is your task to make it fine again, soon as possible." That is all I can say to that.
What the pallets matters...
Really the best you can get is a survivor who drops the pallets infront of you. I would even chase after him, without killing him, just so that he drops every pallet in a specific area of a map, besides hawkings.
There are so many pallets that this tactic doesn't work, because then you wasting the whole match just breaking pallets. Luckily the most of them are unsafe.
Also the gens going down to fast imo.

Capcom, Resident Evil is coming out with their own asymmetrical game. It's going to be a very tough competitor for a team as small as BHVR to face. I'm also not just talking about one triple 'A' game developer, but i'm sure we will see even more not long after.
I even hear that Friday the 13th have been making recent updates to contest Dead by Daylight, but that's just speculation and stuff I hear on the forums.
So it's clear BHVR does have a competition to worry about losing players to.
I have seen a few lets plays about F13. I need to say, the endpart of a match is great, where Jason walks away and hears his mother (?) talking to him, that he has made a great job or something like that (not like in dbd, where the entity enjoys to be displeased if you kill not just everyone).
... But I have also seen lets plays where survivors have punch Jason down with a baseball bat, multiple times. Imo, if the killer is so weak in a game, he can't be terrifying.
What Resident Evil matters, so I know only the first game and the movies.
That could become a competition since they seem to have a high variety of enemie-types.
But nobody can know yet how they will play their cards out.
-
I don't think dbd will have ever anything have to fear until another game comes out that a) has multiple killers in it (which also grow in time in their numbers) and b) takes the "horror" part a bit more seriously.
And I am not a dbd fanboy. It is just... How long can you play 1 game if never something new comes into it?
I have seen great games and mods dieing, just because of this.
That said, I don't think it would be bad if dbd would have a little competition. Maybe they starting then to wake up and doing the right things.
-
Well by Leatherface I can at least imagine:
1 survivor got caught into the basement.
First survivor on mic: Hey he had hung me up in the basement, can someone please help me?
Second surv: Of course! Give me a second!
Second surv: Hey I am hung on the hooks in the basement, can anyone help me?
Third surv: ...
We all know this storys :).
Doing gens in that time would be better...
-
Trapper, Hillbilly, Leatherface and Michael are op?*
sighs
I don't say anthing to that.
The downside sprial is just too real :|.
The only thing were you are right is imo, that there are a ton of selfish people out there. But those guys running also around in real life^^.
Besides that, there are a ton of reasons why killers can complain. Especially if we taking in our memorie that dbd is announced as a horror game and not as hello kitty online.
*About Oni I can nothing say since I have not play him as killer, or see him as surv. Just a few streams I have see with him, but that is nothing that gives anyone a first hand experience^^.
Edit: I think Hillbilly and Michael are strong but op... Comon... That can't be real. I take it as a joke, I guess.

I'm sure they wouldn't nerf the game's mascot, but then again he is the most picked character according to their stats...
Guess they finally give Trapper then 3 traps to the start or more...
.
.
.
... And make a tiny change to his basekit.
From now on the Trapper needs first to walk into his own trap and getting stunned for 4+ secs before the trap counts as active.
-------------
Sry, in desperate times, you need to make desperate jokes, or you driving deeper into madness :|.
-
I assume I play in a 10-20% rate surv. Guess that makes me to a killer main :).
-
No. I mean the game has clearly a horror theme, but here it ends.
For me need to be the killer clearly a much more powerfull opponent as he is in dbd, to see this game as a horror game.
I have seen such concepts in Half-Life 2 mods like:
-Zombie Master
1 side was there the survivors and they had move around in the usual 3d perspective. The other side was a Zombie Master who could see the map from the air and so could also see to any time, every survivor.
His power was to activate traps across the map and he was able to spawn zombies.
-The pre mod to contagoin and contagoin itself
The differences between the mod and the game are really minimal. 1 side was the survs, again in 3d and also the Zombies this time.
The game starts with a very strong Zombie as enemie player. The survs where able to shoot him, if they were lucky (or the Zombie-player bad/newbie) and the Zombie was very strong in meele fights and he could also infect survivors.
So that the infected survivor turned after a while into a less-stronger zombie.
Those games had teach me often enough fear.
Sure it was always the same.
Always that Zombie Master looking down on me, or that super strong Zombie hunting me, but I have like it.
Sadly time kills games, or at least nearly every game and so are also those mods and contagoin - far as I know.
I wish dbd would be a bit like that, but for this they would need to make the killer more powerful.
They would need to be so powerful that there would be no doubt from anyone, that they are the dominant part of dbd.
-
Sometimes I am happy to be on pc.
I mean, I getting also sometimes toxic endgame chats, but they are actually very rar.
Most of the time the endgame chat is either silent or friendly after my experience.
Sounds some of you console guys walking through the hell^^.
-
Ah and well I should additional write that after a survivor got "revived", he has no mental health left anymore.
That means, a survivor has to be from now on very aware about his surroundings and he should everything do what he can do, to stay away from the damsel. At least outside of her teleport range.
Sry for the doublepost btw.

The Thing is, Killers got quite decent Perks with nearly every Patch (I would exclude Stranger Things here, all of Demogorgons Perks are garbage). Also, Killers have more variety in their Perks, because they have different playstyles. You will never find the same Perks every game on the Killer Side, because you dont go against the same Killers all the time. You get an M1-Killer who has Perks like Enduring, Brutal Strength and whatever, next game is a Spirit who will not use any of those Perks.
The only Perk I really need is DS, because Killers are tunneling. Because this is the best way to win a game, elimininate one person early and you have it easy. And after playing a whole evening without DS and getting tunneled in most of the games (because no DS after first Unhook usually means, no DS at all), I dont play any character without DS.
And the rest... Well, its there, why not use it? I stopped caring that much about Killers, because they dont care that much about Survivors either.
What you like to do, you like to do.
I for my part avoid to take perks like noed as example. I don't denie that noed is a strong perk... But...
I don't like to play with it for 3 weeks as example and ending up too need it, to win a match.
There I perfer to stay independend from such perks.
I also have the same mindset in the rar cases where I play as survivor. To win a match only because of a strong perk would feel to cheap for me.
Edit: But that is just my opinion.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
If Survivors would have more like 4 good Perks, you would see more variety. But almost every Survivor Perk is ######### and the last time Survivors got a Metaperk (except MoM) was Dead Hard.
That we could also easily say about killers and it is wrong in both cases.
Perks like ruin are not necessary for a killer to do his job and so are second changes perks not necessary for a survivor to do his part.
You forget here 2 very important things:
1- If you always play with op perks, you start to relay on them and that is always bad, because it weakens you as a player over time.
2- As survivor it is not necessary for you to survive a game. You only need to do your part in a match and even if you die, you still getting a good amount of bps, emblems and so on. Killers play in their matches alone, but you as survivor not.
Both killers and survivors have a high variety of perks to their selection and the most them are ok.
The only things survivors and killers need is a good basekit. That they moving fast enough for their role in the matches and so on and that is imo ok by the survivors and some killers. Surley not by every killer.
-
I assume, the devs trying their best to hold beginners in the game because I guess, that there is a high fluctuation in the low ranks.
It is easy to forget, but the low ranks can be pretty hard, to anyone, especially for survivors imo.
While survivors later get so strong perks that they can outplay specific killers, they getting as real bloody beginners easily stomped by every killer.
I think it is not a miracle that the devs trying to fix this issue. Unfortunately they do it over and over again on a way that makes it harder for killers in the late game, aka. the gamepart where the most players are "stuck" if they decide to stay in the game.
I assume that the outcome of this is, that still to many low ranks left the game and the people up there in the higher levels getting more and more upset about the patches and updates that nerf their favorite characters.
At least I feel this way very often.

Honestly I only think DH needs to be looked at. Makes chases last so long, which is not a good combination with the ruin nerf. Didn’t they say chases should last like 20 seconds or something? LOL
Well if 20 secs are really their goal, then they would need to nerf suvivors massivley. Even down to their basekit like movement speed and so on.
This nerf would be too huge for survs and that say I even as a killer main.
Don't get me wrong, I am also annoyed by the ton of second changes perks survs have, but well... It is like it is.

As a legion player I have fun and do great as well, he's my go to killer for swf or people who bring keys. He doesn't need any buffs really otherwise he'd be entering the overpowered state again
He will enter the overpowered state anyways again.
It's a cycle.
-Killer gets nerfed.
-Survivor have 1 reason less for getting better and stop getting better.
-At some point because of that survivors can't handle anymore the current version of killer X, -then another nerf will come and the cycle starts again.
You may think that I am exaggerate here, but time has prove me right if we look at other killers as an example and additonal about what survivors today complain.
Imo, the only thing that "protects" the Legion at the moment are stronger killers like Ghostface, Hillbilly, new Freddy and Huntress. After they are nerfed we will be the focus of a group of survivors anyways again.
In the meantime, what's wrong on having fun?
And I personally... Well I am have no fun if I getting over and over again stunned for multiple reasons and since fun seemed to be a valueable argument for survivors back in the days, why should not we use it also?
I see survivors and killers as equal and that means that we have also equal a right to talk about what we find annoying.
So much from me to that and to the thread starter: Sorry for getting off topic :|.
-
On the forums:
If someone clearly has a survivor bias and denies what a majority of killer mains saying to him.
In the game:
If I see some ashen/bloody surv in the match screen.
In the game I count then on a difficult match for me. In the forums I value a survivor opinion if we talk about topics where I think that a survivor main could know more about it as me.
However, if he denies what I saying to him about topics where I know more about as a killer I don't value his opinion anymore.
Survivor mains have regulary a high knoweldge about surv. releated topics. That is just in the nature of dbd and because of it, I know I can many things learn from them about survivor releated things.
However. The same counts for killer mains. If they show not the same respect towards killer mains, I don't think they needed longer to see as a discussion partner.
-
Legion.
I like the memories on the old Legion and have still hope that bhvr makes them 1 day fun again. Their last patch has already gone in the right direction.
-
Old Legion had counterplay.
Everybody who tells something different, shows only that he had either no understandment of the Legion and/or whas a follower of that crybabies that some streamers were back at those days, or has the Legion just play on a toxic way.
The only thing that had no counterplay, or better near to have had no counterplay was the old Legion with specific addons attached.
... And that is not the same.
The nerf was not justified in the way it had happen.
That can I say, because I had main to that time the Legion (and with main I mean more as 80% of my matches were with the old Legion to that time) and I had play to that time the Legion without the exploits and without the op addons.
TL:DR A player like me was in the position to look at the Legion how she really was - without those op things and to be honest... In some points, the old Legion was weaker as the new one and vice versa what other points matters.
Don't tell lies guys and stay to the truth.
Edit: Btw. I have not see to this day, 1 "op video" from one of this whiny streamers, without the op addons of the Legion.
That tells already everything I need to know about that topic and the people that have cry about the Legion to that time.

You seem to have not played Legion that much so ill explain how to get hits in frenzy. When you hit a survivor in the centre of the map and you see another near the edges, you travel towards them in an efficient path, leaving no room for the survivors to go. A good legion is uncounterable in this situation.
That is the most efficient way of doing it, which completely counters that "only 12m" argument (which i know iv'e made in the past) as they need to run at a 90 degree angle from you, not directly away. You also forgot to add the lunge distance that gets you more distance.
Yea of course if you frenzy towards the centre of the map they are gonna start running early but then you just go back to the survivor you hit. By the time you downed them (cos its only 1 hit) your ability will be back and you frenzy the one you found earlier and the cycle repeats.
The only time this doesn't apply is when the map is massive, like red forest, however its borderline impossible for like 90% of killers to win on that map against an efficient team.
Also sometimes survivors just naturally group up, you cannot tell me that there is a team that doesn't come within like a 20m radius of each other like, ever in a match, it just doesn't happen.
Once again ill say this: I don't think the Legion is good, but he is fun and not as bad as people make him out to be.
He would be a lot more fun without that freaking feeled 2h stun after frenzy.
Not enough that they made a stun after missed frenzy hits - something that robbed from us the stabby stabby feeling while we just hitting the air for fun -, the stun after frenzy is just too long.
I also don't understand how someone by bhvr could have come up with this idea. It should be known that players hate in general situations where they can't move and/or see something.
In wow as example I hate cc's also (that also can be stuns, but not necessary) and the only reason why everybody can life with it there is, because every class has there so many cc's that you can play ping pong there with those abilities.
Edit: For balance and fun reasons I would like to see the stun after frenzy reduced at -1 or 2 seconds.
Just for fun reasons the stun after a missed hit should go.

Honestly sounds more like a you problem.
It happens every match that you can chain hits and i'm sorry but if you have trouble hitting a survivor even once then you just need to get better at chases
Legion satisfaction comes from injuring really fast and then only needing to outplay the survivors once to down them.
It's not unusual against a good Legion that has everybody injured that suddenly every 30 seconds someone goes down and gives him a pop goes the weasel
If your a killer that needs a power to hit survivors and let's themself be looped for 3 gens if they don't then yes i can believe you that you don't think legion is fun
I think you exaggerating here a bit. That's ok in the heat of a discussion, but if you remember your matches, I bet, you will remember how you often had survivors encounter that were to far away for chain hits and/or had already start to heal themselfs while you were running off to some other survivor at the opposite part of the map.
The Legion is now so good, how a m1 killer in dbd can be.
That is enough for the average survivor, but if you ever met good survivors...
Let us be honest... Nobody of us has a 100% kill rate and if you think that you lost every match just because you are bad, then you are lying to yourself.
Of course, we lose some matches because we have make in the one or other match the wrong decision or were to bad, but in every game were we have lose!?
Comon... That can nobody believe...

Every killer should look at the bright side. With many of these new players getting their way, refusing to learn things such as counterplay, and wanting killers nerfed instead; they'll be easier to beat in red and purple ranks.
That would work in any other game.
But bhvr actual support those survs and that means... Killers will be getting nerfed, so that they need not to be bothered with counterplay and all that crappy and confusing things^^.
I had high respect for survivors... Until I had saw how they gang up on every possible forums to get 1 killer nerfed. Since then my respect has got some leaks here and there.

Just facecamp or slug survivors until they bleed to death, problem solved.
For facecamping are already bp penalties in place. More maybe to come by all the threads around it.
Still... It is just too satisfying sometimes, to see that 1 toxic survivor die. Even with the bp loss and the loss of the match in mind.

Yes, because killers never complain about DS, dead hard, borrowed time, adrenaline and SWF
The only thing I have really to complain about them is, that you see them so often.
Personally I see survivors who wear them "lesser" because I think they need those perks to survive long enough, to give their team an advantage, but I don't think they need to be nerfed.
I just wish there would be more variety.
Survivors get their variety via the different killers and very often the 2-4 meta builds that are good at those killers.
The only variety we killers get is through the perks, the survivors use and honestly... If you see the same over and over and overrr... again... sighs.
Bhvr give those survivors 10+ more second changes perks plz. Not because I think they need them, just so that we killers finally see variety.

@LetsPlayTogether said:
Killers "wanting" to win are called tryhards cause they mostly do this by playing in the most cheap ways possible. Survivors do not have that possibility to play cheap. I myself do not care if I win on both sides, I just wanna have decent games, where both sides had enough satisfaction. I dont even care for my rank or my pips anymore.
Who makes you think that?
Imo, survivors can win on the cheap way if they gen rush and/or use second chances perks.
In the rar games where I play survivor I always avoid taking those perks, because I don't like to have the feeling that I a) only have win because of those perks and b) as a killer main know how annoying they can be.
Especially since feeled 99% of the survivors at least wear one of those perks.
-
I honestly don't get it why bhvr has implemented this and other stuns and still let's them in.
The changes on dw and the tr have made those stuns unnecessary, imo.

So when i first heard about the legion changes i was a little skeptical. Just like everyone else i thought he would be a almost useless killer, mind you i played a ton of legion before the changes to him and the deep wound status effect.
Recently, i have started to pick the legion back up and man i gotta tell you they are a lot of fun! i dont understand why so many people think he was gutted, if someone could explain to me why people think this that would be nice. The only thing i do not like about the change is that you cannot use perks like sloppy or stbfl in his frenzy mode but i do understand why the devs made the change!
My go to build for Legion is: Pop, corrupt, surge, and thrilling tremors.
If you can't do with the Legion - or any other character - what you could do with the character before, he is gutted.
No matter what this means for the character. When you cut down half of a bread, it is gutted. No matter if you have gutted the side with tasty things on it, or the empty side with nothing on it.
What me matters. I miss the old Legion. For me is the new Legion nothing more as a fast moving m1 killer.
I still like to play the Legion when I play dbd, but more because of my memories with the old Legion as because how the Legion plays today and because of their story.
Edit: I am happy to hear that there are still people out there that can remember. Even if we seem not to have the same opinion.
-
If you run into a surv who is very good in looping, it is imo the best to stop hunting him and move to the gens.
Usually those guys can be hunted long enough, after their mates have die.
I usually drop a chase after a surv has lead me to a second pallet, if it is not a very unsafe one and if I have not a personal grudge against him :).

Legion’s lore is all messed up to be fair, I really want the tome lll to be about legion. I like their base lore but when you get into the outfits and even the leaser picture it’s just all over the place.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/614/J9WQHUF35DYX.jpeg
If you notice, there’s numbers on the walls which i’m gonna guess is kills. So why did the group act so surprised over Frank if they’ve done this before? You could say “it’s kills after the janitor” but right after they killed the janitor they went to burry him and ended up in the entity. Still an interesting thought though!
Far as I know is the picture not dated.
So this could be potential kills from their matches in the entity realm.
Besides that, I think pictures like this are made just for looking good and I need to say, I really like this picture.
-
Ah, yes. I have read their story yet again.
Damn... Well, I guess you are right.
Anyways that doesn't change anything on the way how Susie is getting introduced to the reader of their story imo, as you already mentioned, if I have understand you correctly.
It's imo a big step from "just" stabbing someone, to murder. So her behavior at the janitor makes still sense, I guess.
-
Who says that the Susie story not had happened after the Janitor?
Their original story lets anyways enough room for events like that. As example, people say often that the Legion is 19, but I think this wrong, because if you read their story - all the things they have make there are not possible to do in a few days.
They were probally 1 or 2 years aged before they entered the entity realm, after their story starts.
But back to Susie - It makes sense that she felt after the janitor as she would have to prove something. That she is not weak and not worthless. That she is equal to the rest of the gang.
The rest of the Legion has maybe not felt so, but she has still her own feelings and maybe thought that she needed to prove something.

That pretty much applies to every not top tier killer really. As always dumb survivors = Killer ego through the roof. I don't blame them though, My Oni felt like a God for a while until I encountered that optimal survivor team lol
Yes, you are right. A lot of killers have this problem.
But this shows also the unbalance of the game.
If you put the top X (insert random name for your killer here) killer and player together with the top survivor players and one side can totally outplay the other side, to the point where you can go just afk - then is something very wrong.
And with that I don't want to say that I am a top killer. Imo, I am somewhere in the middle, but you read those storys a lot from other people and see them sometimes also by streamers (not that that happen very often - I am sometimes jealous on some streames for the survivors they are getting matched with, but sometimes they also meet them, even if it happen not very often).
Edit: Gaunter did you also already looking forward for Cyberpunk 2077? :). Can't wait for april...

Funnily enough, I got the adept achievement first try due to a SWF group having poor coordination and trying to bodyblock. Mad Grit won every time.
Well, then you had luck.
Survivors who know Madgrit will spread out, as soon as they realice that you are running it.
I also just wait for the day where it will getting nerfed. Sure, it has an easy counterplay, but was that ever an argument for a killer perk?
But until then it is for me one of the best perks, a killer (and I mean here every killer) can pick up.
-
-If you meet really good survivors, you will find the borders of the Legion.
-I miss the old Legion. Not that pathetic construct that is running around now and trys to be a default m1 killer and the old Legion on the same time. But... I assume, this point will understand less and less people with the time, since more and more people have left the game that could remember (for a variety of reasons).
-I don't think the Legion is the worst killer, but I think that a lot of the Legion was sacrificed on the "holly suvrs wanted it so" altar. And that is for me not a reason I am willing to accept.
-
I play Stellaris, The long dark and Fallout 4 (never gets old thanks to mods) at the moment.
At the moment I am just to depressed for the game by the game-"politics" of bhvr. I was not affected by the ruin change, since I have never use it, but it sucks that survivor problems got always so solved fast, while you as killer wait feeled centurys for the one or other problem (as example I still wait for changes that would make the Legion more fun to play [yes to play not to play against necessary]).
Also at the moment survivors cry about Ghostface and I know already yet that they will get their way. They cry like little kids in a supermart and bhvr will come and make everything to make them happy.
That would then the second killer I have like, after the Legion, that will be turned in boring to play just because some survs had tears on their face and I am so done with that.
And yes, I know - the devs haven't say anything yet to this, but mark my words, it will come in a few months if survs continue to complain about him.
If the survs want it so, let them play their generator simulator in maps without a killer. They don't like them anyways.
-
After my experience, the Legion can be devastating against average survivors. And with devastating I mean devastating.
But if you meet good survivors, like the infamous 4swfs that know the strengths of killers and the map they are playing on, you can go better afk. Saves you a lote of trouble and you can read in this time a newspaper or something like that^^.
Also for people that have known the pre patch Legion, the current version can be going boring really fast, because you literally m1 everyone and from the adrenaline rush before is not much left imo.
So... From my point of view is the Legion ok... Until you meet survivors who know what they are doing and have maybe learn a bit about the game they are playing.
The better perks for Legion are already named here like Pop goes weasel or the Nurse Perks. I still use mostly the Legion Perks, besides Stridor (but I would not advise to do this also).
-
As would ranks matter...
Srs... From a killer perspective I have seen enough survs in red ranks that have acted like rank 20 and were just boosted by their better perks, while you encounter on -rank 10 sometimes really good swfs that sometimes depip on purpose, or help one of their friends up to a higher rank.
Ranks doesn't matter. Experience is what matters.
-
I think its only survivor sided if you use one of the weaker killers, or use no gen-speed slowing perks.
The devs are a bit slow with fixing things that annoy killers, so we have to life with those 2 circumstances.
Anyways... I guess sooner or later something will happen. Not because of the killer playerbase maybe, but many survivors wait at he moment very long for a new match.
And well... The only way to shorten this time would be to do something for the killer playerbase :).

@Talmeer - I used to live in a certain city for a few years, where it was quite common find yourself surrounded gangs of teenagers (14-19 year olds) with knives, especially if you tend to walk around on your own. It's happened to me more than once and the one time I didn't manage to escape I got cut. These were probably the only times in my life when I genuinely felt scared. The legion's backstory reminds me a lot of those experiences - a group of teenagers who attack people out of boredom and just for the fun of it. That's why I find them to be the only DBD killer that's genuinely scary in real life - not because they have a scary power, but because they actually exist and I've come across them more than once.
Thanks for your answer. I would have like to talk about it more, but I think then we would go to much off topic here.
Still wish you a great day and sorry if I had bring up some bad memories. I had just thought that there was maybe a urban legend I didn't know of or so.

I can't decide... Everyone of them seems to be terrible on his own way. Maybe the movie-Freddy, because at least for the other killers you can run away with a little bit of luck, but for Freddy...
He comes in our dreams, man! And at some point everybody of us needs to sleep :|.
Btw. @Accullla
Were there a gang like the Legion in the past, or did you just say that because a lot of people grab a knife and try to kill someone with it (including young adults)?
Sometimes I read the on ore other urban legend on the internet, that were maybe a template for creatores of movies and games.
As example: Someone like Smiley has maybe exist, just that supposedly the "real life version" was a guy in Belgium who catch a girl in the night and kill her, while wearing a smiling mask.

If his reveal mechanic wasn't so broken I wouldn't mind facing him.
Things like this deserve usually a bugfix... but I am not sure if that would be good.
The last killer I had love to play and still like enough to play him had 2 exploits and at a minimum 1 op addon that needed to be changed (in my opinion even more addons).
Instead of fixing those things like any other company, bhvr has gone even further and also changed his basekit massivley.
So I am not sure if it is good to ask for a bug fix. I am worried, everytime, since then, that they don't stop there.
Who knows... Maybe they fix it with a stun everytime Ghostface got revealed or something like that... There I prefer the old ways.

Can you survivors please stop to come always with "it is unfun to play against..." (its not the first time for me) up towards the killers that make actual fun for killer-players?
You know... This game is not a 1 way road. Survivors have also a variety of perks and behaviors developed, that are unfun for me as killer player and did you see killers come up with the same apporach like survivors?
To change the basekit is a very deep nerf for every killer (and would be for surivovrs too). Always, no matter if the killer gets better or worse later in the statistics (because the playstyle changes after that dramaticly, most of the time).
Imagine survivors would be treated the same, because XYZ is unfun. Imagine survivors would get basekit changes because of it. What would you say?
Damn man, let other people please a little bit of fun and rob not everything from them.

Well, I am not the killer that is really obsessed by 1 specific surv if the survivor does nothing that annoys me, but... Davids... Sometimes I can't resist to kill them, because they are usually played by guys that think, that they are gods or something like that and sometimes I feel, that it is necessary to bring one of them back to earth :).
But besides that, no specific surv.

Why do people play legion? He seems so boring to play and play against. Im not being rude I genuinely want to know what the appeal is?
Well, I can't talk for everyone, but for me because:
-I like their story.
-I like to play a fast moving, but not teleporting killer with a knife.
-I still remember on the good old days and the memories of the old Legion let me forget some of the annoying things on the new one. At least sometimes I can forget them because of those memories.
-
This stun is one of 2 stupid stuns Legion has to suffer with.
Imo, since Legion has no lethal second power anymore (aka. no old dw), there is no reason for those stuns.
For me, this is more a quality of life, or fun question as a balance question, because I don't know how Legion could be op without a vital dw.
So... Devs... You can push the Legion without fearing any danger. Give us some quality of life patches, so that the fun rises a bit for Legion players.

I don't have made many bad experiences with the endgame chat. I really like the endgame chat. The only bad thing for me concerning the endgame chat is, that the actual archive task lays always at the beginning of the endmatch screen, over the chat.
The only really toxic experience I have made with dbd was after I had defend the Legion in the Steam-dbd forums, to pre patch Legion times.
Shortly after that I needed to set my profile private because of some very toxic survivor mains there, that obviously couldn't handle a opinion that was different to theirs.
Still, I like the endgame chat and hope that he will always be a part of the game... Just please bhvr, put the archive procress pop up on some other place of the endmatch screen. That's all from me.

How is body blocking toxic? It's a strategy that works and is incorporated into the game. There are even achievements for taking hits. The toxic behavior is lashing out at someone for out playing you. You're welcome to chase said person, but what they did is not toxic by any means, no debate.
You maybe right, but I am more as just annoyed if someone gets between me and my prey.
It is my personal feeling and less an actual rule, or whatever. Some guys are highley annoyed by tbagging, face camping, flash light using, loopings, tunneling and my weak spot is body blocking.
That is the only reason why I have Madgrit on every single one of my killers and I will for sure give the survivor who has did this my complete and only attention then :)*.
Imo, it is ok to have weakspots. After all, it shows that we are still humans ;).
*Last part only when I am in a bad mood.

If the survivor is near enough to you, you can also hit them from the position were you standing on this screenshot.
That happens rarely if just 1 is on that position, but sometimes there are 2 or more and then you can often hit them from there.
If they are to far away for a hit like the Jake on your screenshot, you need to walk all the way up and then move on the rail as already said before.
-
As killer main I would say everything that seems only be done by you, to either upset one of your teammates, or the killer.
As already said in this thread - there is no clear definition of what is toxic and what not.
I bet from 100 killers and 100 survivors have 100 killers and 100 survivors a different opinion about that.
What me matters, if you try to body block me, I take it as toxic and will deal with you, how I only deal with toxic people. Nobody comes between me and my prey... Nobody :P :).

Cooldowns are not everytime a savior, imo.
As example, if the devs would make the m1 attack independent from the Legion frenzy abilitie, they would reduce a lot of frustration with this killer and that hangs together mainly with his cooldown mechanic.
Also I think that many problems killer have, have nothing to do with cds. The trapper could use more traps at the beginning as example. Or maybe also darker traps (without addons).
The gas of the Clown could do more as just looking nice and so on (I know I exaggerate here).
CD's are maybe a help here and there, but I don't think they would be the holy grail.
