Have you even seen what a nurse pre- patch is capable of with certain add-on and perks? The cool down is kind of needed actually

it's a perk that rewards noobs and that's a fact
It's a perk that increases endgame difficulty. Bad or no, it gives the killer the upper hand or chance to turn the game around.

I wouldn't classify Billy as top 3 anymore I think Huntress and Hag are better overall killers with better potential. Billy's strength lies in the fact he has a instadown and its amazing if he catches you outside a safe loopable area. Otherwise he turns into a basic M1 killer with a good survivor let one anyone far more skilled as a survivor.
I would probably play Pig, Huntress, and Hag Exclusively in that order.
Though keep in mind, this is red ranks we're talking about. Hillbillies always have either instant chainsaw or turning add-ons. The sweatiest around.

I use all killers including in red ranks. Win some and lose some.
Best answer so far lmao

Not every Claudette plays Blendette... I literally use her bright pink jacket..
That's a fun way to use her, and that's also quite the minority. You are more likely to see a p3 or one with the darkest cosmetics 90% of the time.

How long is Ghostface's exposed effect supposed to last? The couple of games I've played against him it seemed incredibly long. I'm assuming he has addons to make it last longer. But it seemed crazy long.
I believe it's 45 seconds, but yes, add-on can extend the active time.
-
Playing with it, I know it will get cleansed, but that also means that's one less survivor on a gen for that brief amount of time. Sometimes more if survivors are really not feeling to repair with it on.
Playing against Ruin: I've practiced on hitting great skilIchecks with it active so many times that i can now basically hit a great every single time.

You haven't learned how powerful pallet loops and windows are. Being 1 hit from going down is meaningless with how numerous those loops are. You can easily loop her all game and have 5 gens done before you run out of pallets. This is exacerbated by her very tall size which makes her even easier to loop. Your team is also gen rushing even faster because no one is wasting time on healing.
Being injured the entire game is much less dangerous than you think it is. This is illustrated in high rank games where none of the survivors heal because of the reasons I've already mentioned.
Plagues then could use Bamboozle or Cruel Limits, but then get called a bad killer for using loop countering perks. I will still never understand the logic of that btw
-
He was never bad post-ptb and post-ptb stealth nerf. People are just really bad at playing him.
-
People should never underestimate a Leatherface if it is a good one. You're either gonna get three types:
- The face camper
- below average in chases
- one that can end a chase fast with high rank killer strategies.
-
People are comparing The Clown and Pennywise (or just It in general) as if they're the same kind of person. Penny wise is a shapeshifter, and I believe that goes against what the devs want for a killer.
-
Good. High rank survivors can't use low ranks as a way to get easy killers.
-
@Hoodied said:
They could use this when he is nearing tier 3
That's exactly on the post

I don't think it would fit for that.

I would actually take this guy's suggestion

Not a bad idea👌

I’m not sure what you mean.
On PS4 as survivor against Myers I always hear the piano melody cue that he’s gone up (or down) a tier of EW.
There was a removed sound cue that would play only when he's stalking you for a couple of seconds. It was removed long ago. It was a continuous slow paced key

Pairing MoM with WGLF makes using MoM more meaningful as it is a one use perk. As far as I know, you can gain 1 stack one time from a killer hitting you while:
- carrying a survivor
-Preventing a hook save
- Body blocking an injured survivor (though due to the buggy registers of protection hits, this one is rare)
I usually run like hell to a killer that picked up a survivor, get hit, run away, and finally repeat that step until I get it. That's the easiest way you could ever get MoM.
-
How do people find HILLBILLY fun? I mean unless it's a baby billy, you're up against turn add-on reliant sweaties 24/7

*cough* Ghost Face *cough*

Pinhead/Chucky/Pennywise/Alien and Jason
Then they have all of the big ones unless they moved onto ghost horror stuff.
Then they could go Conjuring Witch/Nun/Demon in Annabelle, Darth Maul from the movie insidious etc.
Or they could crossover with more games like they did Left 4 Dead?
They have years worth of stuff if they can get the rights to these things (or even want them to begin with)
Pinhead: wouldn't make sense as he doesn't directly attack anyone at all.
Chucky: what do you seriously think?
Jason: never gonna happen for many years thanks to ongoing franchise lawsuit.
Pennywise/It: potential
Xenomorph: could be similar to Demogorgon or not, but still potential.
Another ghost-like killer would kinda negate The Spirit tbh, but lesser known killers could be possible to enter the game.
-
The aura detection of the perk relies on the user's location on the map. Imagine a guy wants to find totems, but 3 gens pop simultaneously, giving him only the aura range of the area they stood in that moment.

"it will be even worse for other killers that could possibly pick up on the oblivious effect in the future such as in their base kit."
I'm gonna cry if they do that to Ghostface and Wraith.
I believe they are more likely to give the undetectable status effect to killers like GhostFace instead, which makes survivors who run detection perks really up their awareness.
-
Someone needs to teach you how to use stealth killers
-
We might be really slowing down on licensed killers. We already have nearly all of the mainstream horror icons.

@jeyers said:
NOED is still a broken perk that rewards killers for losing the game.
It should be reworked.
It's a comeback perk if the killer struggled, and a perk to increase endgame difficulty in general. I'd say adrenaline is just as bs
-
To be fair, Ghost Face in dbd is half original since the Ghost Face persona is the licensed portion of the DLC. the character behind the mask is their own creation and not of any of the killers in film (not that the content was based on the films' killers anyway).

- "Alright!"
- "Kiss my grits!"

To clarify, I was ordering food which took quite a while, and at the same time Ash was sitting there in the lobby. He suddenly goes on asking the player if we're going to do something. (I don't have the exact quote)
-
Blindness is good when the unobserving players don't pay attention to where a survivor got hooked. The only issue with that is players still see the location of the hooked survivor, just not the aura.
-
Three reasons really:
1) the killer's animation when doing so depending on the killer.
2) if I feel like applying pressure by taking some folks out of the game (if it's not a Cypress)
3) A Cypress as a rewarding and cool way to end the trial.

I mean, what are you if you can't run basic tiles? Good?
That means nothing. The perk is to counter loops and infinites, preventing the survivor from keeping the killer at bay with this added chase pressure. The perk exists for that sole reason. If a really good killer main uses it, are they considered bad?
-
@gantes said:
IDK outside of blocking bs windows it's a perk for bad killer players anyway so I don't think it'll matter that much
People won't suddenly start using the perk because of that
I love it when people call killer perks that counter what a survivor can do is referred to as a perk for "bad killer players".

@Bloodartist said:
I was told it is a bug with dying light, did you have that perk?
Yes, and I was not aware that DL was the cause.
-
If the survivors are really good, plague is F
-
@Mookywolf said:
how dare you suggest survivors should do something other than gens, looping and flashlight blinding 24/7!
but yes i agree, NOED is fine. the only change i think should happen, if any, is you know they have NOED as the totem activates, and not after someones already downed. but even as it is, its fine
And if the killer doesn't even down anyone in that time as 8ts being known and found? That's seems survivor biased

do you like it better now?
A lot more actually. It feels more intense.
-
As a Myers, Gorg, and Ghost Face main, yes.
I do also love it as survivor, but give it time, and people will fully figure out the map tiles
-
I haven't played the ptb, but have heard what the ptb version sounds like.
Differences:
- The chase cue in ptb is now heard on live as the closest proximity.
- A small piece of the overall music was altered.
- Chase cue in live is completely new.
-
Hearing from survivor perspective, after GF hits someone in stealth, it takes a brief moment before his terror radius returns. I believe that small window of time is related to this.
-
The Devs confirmed the undetectable status effect will carry over to certain killers' powers/add-ons, so his stealth will possibly become immune to perks like OoO
-
Pair Iron Maiden with BBQ, as every survivor subconsciously goes in a locker against a Leatherface. Even if you don't see their aura, their location is still given once they leave it.
-
Of course a killer that has the ability to instadown at will is fun
-

I approve this post
I love using Tapp's perks. I think they are underrated
I only wish Detective's Hunch would activate when any gen is done and not just when you finish one
That should be recommended to the devs, since they are applying that effect to Dark Sense on Tuesday. Though come to think of it, the perk only effects you, so other people triggering it could be problematic and abusable in some way. I'd say maybe dramatically increase the time auras appear as imo 5 seconds is very fast.
-
Jeff because he's basically god. No one mains him though because they can't comprehend his power.
-
You can blame the first person to discover Blendette for this change.
-
I got it to activate 3 times before. The perk only gets its use when you take hits for carried survivors.
-
The parody mask would be too weird. Idk why so many ppl affiliate Ghost Face with the parody version as if they're the same character lol. I'd want the scarecrow skin really bad though. The MTV version would never happen as that's not Ghost Face at all, but instead called the "Lakewood Slasher".
-
Yo, there's gonna be so many Quentin mains after this lmao
-
Your interest in having a xenomorph completely throws your opinion on the demogorgon out the window.

Freddy's hand is hugh mungous. It only looks like a baby hand cuz his sleeve is overlapping most of it.

I don't camp as him, but when I notice someone making their way to the hooked survivor, I follow them unnoticed, expose them, and finally down the rescuer.
