I didn't it's not allowed I said I wouldn't like it because it looks out of place in dbd. In real life it's fine, people can wear what the hell they like. Can you honestly say that a man with a full grown beard and a dress, wearing incredible amounts of makeup and huge fake eyelashes would fit into dbd.
What would not look out of place, then?

I just told you, it would look silly in dbd.
You posted this before I edited my post, so I'll simply include my edit here.
From what you have said so far, a man wearing that dress in DBD is not allowed to have a face that looks too masculine or too feminine. What would be appropriate?

You're going to keep commenting until I slip up and say something that makes me look homophobic aren't you. Well again I have no objection to people expressing themselves irl, whether that means having a beard and wearing a dress at the same time or not, I think that it would look silly in dbd.
I ask again: Why no beard? Simple question.

That is not what I said at all. If it's a guy and he doesn't have a beard or massive eyelashes/crazy makeup I'm fine with it.
Why no beard?

Okay well as long as they don't have massive fake eyelashes or crazy makeup I'd be alright with it. The outfit doesn't look that bad to be honest.
So it's okay as long as it turns out to be a woman?

Alright the difference is, I wouldn't mind, in fact I'd be happy, if there was a gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender character. I don't like the idea of a drag queen in dbd because it wouldn't fit the visual aesthetic and if there was a drag queen in dbd I wouldn't like it but I guess I'd have deal with it.
SO I ASK. What if that is indeed the case? What if, for example, it turns out that this character that DBD has been teasing is a woman who is a lesbian?
-
Factually wrong. We are living in the present.
-

I guess I'd have to deal with it. At the end of the day, it isn't my decision. But I wouldn't be happy.
You just said that you'd be okay with it if it were gay, lesbian, bi, trans and it was part of their backstory. Which is it? Okay, or not okay?
-
@TheButcher6641 said:

No what I meant was If it was a gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender characters and it mentioned that they were or it was part of their backstory I'd be okay with it. I'd even be okay if their was slightly feminine-looking man or vice versa. What I object to is purely a drag queen in dbd's aesthetic.
What if that is indeed the case, though?
-
@TheButcher6641 said:

You mean if being a drag queen was part of their backstory? Well it wouldn't change my opinion really, it's not at all the idea of being a drag queen that I do not like, just how it would appear in dbd.
So then why did you mention "or it had some role in their backstory" when that was false?
-
or it had some role in their backstory
Hypothetically, what if that were indeed the case here? What would that change for you?
-
As long as the game's balance is where it currently is, e-sports is a non-option IMO.

Because I didn't want to show names or even hint as to who did what, I didn't put any evidence, but you can find some stuff on twitter and on the forums if you dig enough.
I meant as to what the contents of the chapter would entail. Is this confirmed, or are you just guessing?

Is this even confirmed, or is OP just speculating?

Oh boy here we go.
So the Divergance teaser was about there being multiple timelines, with different versions of the characters in different worlds, right? So what if this is the same character, just one from one world where they're a survivor and one from another where they're the killer?!
Am i thinking too much into this? 100%
That would actually be super cool.

Why did everyone think the person on the screenshot is the new survivor? It´s clearly the killer!
The thought kinda was there for me from the get-go, but there wasn't anything that would really push me to really think that they might be the Killer until the spectrogram stuff.
-
Now I'm starting to wonder if this mystery person is actually the Killer before they become the Killer.
-
That looks like a shadow to me. The way the skintone lightens up at the top only on one side makes it look too lopsided to be a beard.
-
I've had a similar bug myself where once I obtained all currently-unlocked perks at Tier 3 for a given character (in my case, the Pig), any of that character's teachables that I have not unlocked yet (by choice) will stop showing up in the bloodweb until I unlock another teachable perk for everyone. This has been bugged for me for over a year at this point.

I'd say it's overpowered, especially combined with infantry belt, but certainly not toxic. Toxic is defined by one's behaviour, not the perks or add ons or whatever else they use.
This is my stance, personally.

Isn't Yui Japanese? It seems that the tweets and whatnot are hinting that whoever this person might be is likely Korean.

The Hacker. Their weapon will be their extremely sharp and pointy chin.

How does that invalidate the fact that they said it was happening?

Alright so I looked up Mightee One entertainment, and ultimately found Entertainment One, a Canadian company affiliated with the Insidious series.
That ain't Mightee One, though. From what people have looked up, "Mightee One Entertainment" does not appear to refer to something that exists (outside of the upcoming Dead By Daylight chapter, presumably).

Magnum Opus, when searched along with the keyword "horror" brings up Layers of Fear. It is possible the killer could be the painter, who slowly goes mad throughout the story, and the protagonist could be his daughter, from Inheritance, with the new map being his ever-changing mansion.
"The Inheritance downloadable content add-on tells the story of the painter's daughter coming back to her childhood home to face her past after she left "The St. Martin de Porres Home for Problem Children". Beginning in the 1960s, exploring the destroyed home with a flashlight, she relives her experiences and witnesses the full scope of the tragedy that has swallowed up the family."
Unless the profile pic and the coffee cup can also be explained, I think it's safe to assume that the new chapter is going to be original.
-
Pretty sure this is just a teaser for the next DBD Chapter.

Remember the firs deathslinger teaser, with the chain on the ground? When everyone thought that was pinhead? Was that vague?
Kinda?
-
@Midori_21 said:
It may all add up but BHVR is notorious for putting out teasers to completely throw people off. It happened last chapter with everyone expecting a wendigo, and it happened before that with everyone expecting a werewolf.
The werewolf thing I totally buy, but the wendigo thing seemed to me more like people taking a guess based on something vague rather than following a likely red herring.
-
It was originally created as a way to compensate for older map design with infinite loops. As maps get reworked, it should make bloodlust less and less necessary until it's safe to finally get rid of.

Just watch any other killer main streamer. Hexy, Scott, Otz, Zubat (when he plays killer, he is a surv main rn), etc. They know much more about the game and win way more often than Tru3. Funny thing is that they complain way less as well lol.
I've seen Scott complain about as much as Tru3 (I'm not saying this in a negative way to either person).

ik this is old and the chapters already come out (none of u got it right lol), i still think a last of us chapter would be soooooo amazing! those of u saying its ps exclusive and unlikely, now that theyre making a tv show of it maybe its more likely?? I guess we'll have to wait till the show comes out. Also those people saying about the killer needing to be an individual entity, maybe the rat king would be a good killer??
I'd say the fact that Kratos is on Fortnite is more of a point in The Last of Us's favor than the fact that The Last of Us is getting a tv show.
-
Even if the grind for this game was not very bad, I would still be against this idea.
-
Good, now I can actually jump into the game again.

good points. i think that they should make it so the survivors get their trap off after 2 boxes
No, because then a Survivor can just do one box after unhook, do a gen if the Trap doesn't come off, and then do a second box after a gen pops to get the Trap off.
-
IMO, a Survivor getting their trap off in one try is a huge detriment to Pig because the Survivors get back a hefty amount of tempo she was trying to take from them. I admittedly don't really have any evidence to support this, but I would make the claim that a Survivor getting a Trap off in one box harms the Pig more than a Survivor getting a Trap off in four boxes helps the Pig. I think making all Traps require 2+ boxes would eliminate that overly negative momentum shift for the Pig without it being overbearing for Survivors.
-
@swager21 said:

but how else would you prevent last box scenarios?
You don't. If anything, IMO, you need to prevent first box scenarios.
-
Ghostface. Neither one really seems like they'd trump the other in physical prowess, so it'd come down to the tools they have on-hand. RBTs are useless in a 1v1, and Ghostface can at least throw his knife as a projectile weapon in an emergency whereas Pig cannot do the same because her weapon is something she wears.
-
Forget kill rates. We should go by win rates.
-
@swager21 said:
it should show you which box it is cuz its always the last box for me. and not doing generators, running to the box already eats up enough time
That would basically turn the Reverse Bear Traps into a worse Legion power. So...no.
Also, necrobump. :P

Yeah there needs to be a bigger penalty for suiciding. Also replace struggle phase with skill checks
I agree with both of these.

I had an idea in the past for a change to the pipping system that did technically make it so Survivors who died did not pip naturally, but they could still have the ability to pip if their team won/tied (2+ escape, basically) and the players who died did well with Emblems. Basically, if you did well with emblems, your pip result would be upgraded (i.e. de-pip becomes black pip, black pip becomes pip, and pip becomes double pip).
-
USUALLY it is correct to prioritize going after someone without a Trap, and if I spot two Healthy Survivors one Trapped and one not, I will almost certainly go for the non-Trapped one. Hardcore tunneling Trapped Survivors is a waste of a Trap, regardless of whether you intend to have the Trap kill them or not.
That being said, sometimes it makes sense to swing by boxes on my way to a gen and scare them away if I see them (or down them if they are already injured). Sometimes BBQ will highlight a trapped Survivor who I think is headed toward a particular box, and I will try to cut them off for the same reason. If I think pushing away or downing someone with a Trap will be the difference between them dying to the Trap and not, I WILL go for it unless doing so will cost me the game. And obviously if you're not respecting the Trap, there is no reason to ignore you because the Trap is not doing its job.

🤣🤣 thanks for the paragraph saying absolutely nothing. You obviously can't read or better yet interpret what we're talking about. Right now we're in a state of emergency. Ask I said about being penalised is. They should take it off right now during the winter storm. You're talking about entitlement yet in the same sentence tell people what they should play during these troubling times. Oh I GET IT NOW.... YOU'RE NOT EFFECTED BY WHAT'S GOING IN SO YOU DON'T CARE. If that's the case then continue not caring and also not commenting to me. Regardless if I'm the one being affected or not, I can sympathise with others.
Alternatively, don't play with a bad connection. Wait it out.

Just don't heal. Legion now has to down you without their power.

Your plan is to make the Killer want to kill you even worse next time?

Was it actually 27 seconds, or are you just saying that it's 27 seconds? Either way, you'll need to have:
1) Recorded the incident
2) reported the offender(s) in-game
3) Send a separate support ticket with the video
