How has no one else caught on to OP?

Not nearly as much pride and accomplishment as seeing the "Game Over" scoring event. :P

Judith's Tombstone slows down Myers a hefty amount. In the absolute WORST case scenario where you can't outrun him, jump into a locker. Also, according to the wiki, Myers's free hand is opened up and not clenched into a fist during Evil Within Tiers 2/3 if he's using Tombstone, so you'll always have a tell-tale sign that he's using that add-on.

With a bulldozer. Level it and start over.

Killer: The Pig
Add-ons I'd keep:
1) Combat Straps - Good for ambushing
2) John's Medical File - Good for ambushing
3) Video Tape - Good for ambushing
4) Last Will - Extra RBT is always nice
5) Jigsaw's Annotated Plan - Good for the Six Box Shuffle; Dece for Trap stall
6) Bag of Gears - ONLY marginally useful with Crate of Gears; if it weren't for that, I'd say toss it
7) Jigsaw's Sketch - Dece for Trap stall and/or Trap kills
8) Crate of Gears - Good for Trap stall, Trap kills, and catching a Survivor at a box
9) Tampered Timer - Bad do-nothing add-on, but I LURV me some Trap kills
10) Uh...Rules Set No. 2? I genuinely can't think of a 10th add-on I'd be happy with keeping. The rest all are mostly trash. I do enjoy Trap Kills, and I GUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESS RSN2 TECHINCALLY enables that, though I still don't like the add-on.
-
I don't think so. I think it's okay to want to play to win and to want to try your best. The important thing is that the game be balanced when people are doing so.

You know, I do like this idea. How would you do haunted grounds as a non-hex perk?
Without getting into any specifics, trap a gen. The perk fires off when the trapped gen is finished.
-
Screw Hex perks. I'm of the opinion that all Hex perks should be re-worked/re-balanced into non-Hex perks. Get that variance/swinginess outta here. Find something else to do with Totems.

I wouldn't be opposed to that.
I actually think she probably could use even a little more, I was just trying to be extremely conservative as the devs are very hesitant to buffing killers. IE ask for too much and you might get nothing.
I've always been of the opinion that the (green) bile should do something besides get people sick, and I think the perfect thing for it to do is to speed up gen regression. Given how crap base gen regression currently is, I don't think that's an unreasonable ask at all.

Also a small QoL for her:
-Vomiting on a gen makes it begin regressing as if kicked. Does not apply any perk regression effects, just base regression.
The overall goal here is increasing her map pressure by making her a little more time efficient. She suffers from extreme time inefficiency.
I actually think vomiting on a gen should cause it to regress faster for as long as it has bile on it (though it would not stack with anything else that increases the rate of regression like Ruin and...well, just Ruin since Ruin is the only thing in the game that does that currently, IIRC).

I had a similar idea but deep wounds instead so that if they don't cleanse they go into the dying state.
Unless that's what you mean by die. I'm thinking straight-up DIE to death though like what reverse bear traps do since you said Pig main.
No, I mean actually die and get booted out of the match. That's why I brought up the Pig.
-
To be fair, I'm all for a game that gives this one a run for its money. Not because I have any intention to play it, but because I want a fire lit under the devs (not literally, of course :P ) to improve this game.
-
I'm going to suggest something crazy as a Pig main:
Survivors who reach maximum sickness have a time limit before they just DIE unless they heal.
Make them HAVE to use the fountains.
You can even nerf the red bile to make up for that. And also let them cleanse faster while at a fountain.

Killer Name - The Monado
-
I think Monitor is not bad on him, but not as good as on Deathslinger. The difference is with what happens when you land that first shot. With the Trickster, you've got one laceration in and an opportunity to land maybe a few more before the Survivor makes a run for it. With the Deathslinger, you've just straight-up got an injury in already if they're healthy (if they're injured, whether or not you get the down depends on whether you can successfully real them in).

Wait... you reload on trickster? Why not just m1?
110%. Unless you're already close to them in an area with no good loops, I don't think you have good odds of catching them.
-
I think there's a reason it's only a brown add-on.

For instance, shapeshifter enters a group of players, hits one of them: FLASH! All players are blinded for one second. When they can see again, there are two Neas. Which is which? Think fast before you get hit. Even an swf group would have a hard time communicating fast enough to counter something like that.
"Nea, start teabagging."
*Nea starts teabagging*

Well the point of the suggestion would be to basically block a power since killers can use any perk also. Allowing survivors to ban 1 killer from the roster would be fair but allowing killers to ban survivor perks would be unfair because they would simply block the best ones.
Make the original Ebony Mori base kit and you've got a deal. Not the one that lets you kill anyone you hooked once. The ORIGINAL original. ;)

Yeah, I read this immediately I was like "wwooooow".
But yeah, the sound doesn't make any sense, why does she... roar ??? Definitely they have to remove the sound.
I don't know her add-ons, are they good ?
No. She has so many add-ons that are not merely bad, but downright worthless. She has a full cycle of add-ons that do NOTHING (the skill check ones), a cycle of add-ons that are counterproductive and encourage tunneling (the ones that inflict penalties to RBT survivors, barring MAYBE Rusty Attachments), an add-on that straight-up nerfs the Pig (Amanda's Secret), an add-on that does literal nothing unless someone dies to an RBT (Tampered Timer), and two bad UR add-ons. Her only legitimately useful add-ons are Combat Straps, John's Medical File, Video Tape, Last Will, Jigsaw's Annotated Plan, Jigsaw's Sketch, and Crate of Gears (and three of those can be invalidated through simply getting unlucky).
-
I agree that she needs buffs, but having her ambush be a one-hit is definitely too much. I think having her RBTs passively (read: slowly) regenerate is also a good idea.
Also, undo that damn EGC nerf. Just undo it. Obviously not 100% undo; change a thing here or there to prevent megacheese, but undo it please.

This is off topic and by no means do I want to seem rude at all, but you have 0 BHVR read posts and almost 9000 posts... That is just shocking tbh! You were very helpful in answering my question so I assumed you were a mod but how have they not read a single one of your posts?
I have a lot of free time at home and/or on public transportation to post. Plus I get into debate/arguments a lot.
-
No. Taking the game hostage means intentionally prolonging the game for an indefinite amount of time to prevent the game from ending.

You need to time in perfectly because if you blind while the killer is still in the animation and cannot move it wont work. You should try to find a YouTube video on how to time flashlight saving
Did not know that. Was feeling a bit bad yesterday because I thought I was only able to avoid dropping the Survivor because of a bug. Glad to know that wasn't the case.
-
Killer - The Clown, easily.
Survivor - I'm not actually too sure. I'll have to think this one over.
-
Not great IMO, but better than most of the other hex perks out there.
-
Diversion. Shortening the timer did little to fix the problem IMO.
-
Points shmoints. As long as 3+ of us get out, that's all that matters.
-
Framerate issues, Trickster needs buffs.

I personally don’t think he fits at all. I feel like this just an approach to draw in an entire new fan base. When you make a killer that people think is attractive and want them to step on them or what have you. I think you’ve failed at a new killer.
You should look at some of the kinky stuff people say about some of the other killers.
-
Agitation
Iron Grasp
Mad Grit
Surge
Chasing a Survivor while carrying another Survivor on my back is fun.
-
There's also the fact that a large percentage of players in the PTB were probably playing as Killer, leading to huge queue times.
-
I feel like the only reason map offerings are an issue is because some maps favor one side over the other by a significant margin (even circumstantially). If you make the maps more balanced, you make map offerings that much less problematic.
-
Depends. If both Player A and Player B make unsafe saves without BT, Player B isn't justified in complaining about Player A not bringing BT. If Player B isn't making unsafe saves, then they could potentially be justified in being annoyed at Player A for not bringing BT depending on the severity of the bad save.

Revert Remember Me change, and make so that's it's disabled when there's only one survivor left.
They really need to do something about the perk. They nerfed it because of the ECG without giving it a suitable buff in return.
-When there's only one Survivor remaining in the trial, that Survivor becomes your Obsession.
Easiest damn change in the world. I cannot fathom why they didn't just add this to Remember Me instead of nerfing it into the ground.
-
There could be 1000 perks and I'd still say no to a fifth perk slot. If anything needs to change, it's that it needs to be easier to get the perks you want. The sheer number of perks available actively disincentivizes me from unlocking teachables because of how difficult it will make it to see the perks I want. That needs to change sooner than later. But a fifth perk slot? No. The game was not balanced around that.
-
Huntress IMO. Being able to down someone across the pallet I think is a big deal. I will admit that the gap between the two is smaller than I had initially perceived, though.

For example, picture this scenario:
Dwight plays perfectly for the entire match without being found. Until the last generator has been activated, and he gets caught in a deadzone and downed. Now Dwight has a trap on him. Now Dwight is absolutely screwed.
The Pig has no reason to leave Dwight, because there's no more generators to protect. She can open the door to force the End Game collapse, and there's literally nothing Dwight can do. The Pig can simply force him away from the key boxes with no fear of wasting time to losing generators.
So now Dwight can't escape because the trap will kill him, but he can't get the trap off because the Pig is camping the box. There's simply nothing he can do except wait for the End Game Collapse to kill him, there's 0 counter play to that.
The way it works now means it would actually be Dwight's fault for being caught in that situation, because he had the trap put on him in advance before the last generator activated.
Pause. The. EGC. Timer.
Done.

The joke is that this thread about OoO turned into a thread about DS.

Legion and Plague, pretty much.
-
This topic is now about Decisive Strike, apparently.
-
I'm leaning toward Trickster, but it's a bit hard to say. Trickster would seem like the easy choice because projectiles, but Ghostface does have stealth. I still think it would be Trickster, though.
-
Of the Killers that don't have any place to call their own (I'm not counting Clown, Plague, or Oni since they sorta have their own place, even if it is clearly piggybacking off of another Killer's realm), I think the only one I'd genuinely be interested in seeing a new map for is Trickster. Bubba would probably just be similar to Coldwind (I've never seen TCM, so forgive me if I am not accurate with this), Ghostface would likely be similar to Badham or Haddonfield, Twins would probably be similar to Red Forest, and I can't really picture anything for Blight.
So outside of Trickster, I'd probably want a return to normal.
-
Kindred. Gotta have Kindred.
-
I saw someone suggest "The Trickstar," which I like.

All I'm saying is maybe change his name to "The Idot" and maybe in the future make a killer called The Trickster and make him look like a Jester? I think that'd be cool.
A jester-themed killer could also go by "The Prankster" or even simply "The Jester," to be fair.

this was from a ptb from November 2018. This is Legion's release.
Coincidentally, this PTB is also having framerate issues :P
-
I like The Trickster, but yes, I would absolutely be more terrified of the FNAF animatronics.
-
I am not a big fan of Surge and would much rather just use Pop Goes the Weasel overall.
BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT.
I currently use it in my meme taxi build (Agitation + Iron Grasp + Mad Grit) on Pig because it gives me some measure of slowing down gens without having to: a) hook someone first like PGTW b) kick a gen like PGTW c) defend a lone totem like Ruin.
-
I'm all for him from a flavor standpoint (still needs work mechanically, though).
