on the 8th you get kicked out of your moms basement
On the ninth, she gets kicked out her basement.
-
On the sixth camp, your account is deleted from the game. On the seventh, whatever platform you are using catches fire.
-
Toolboxes need to do SOMETHING. Just sabotaging would be awful.

I make Clown noises.
-
Can I also mention that it sounds weird that hospital gown Myers still walks as though he were wearing shoes?

Tru3talent: the guy who says stalking as Ghost Face is bad
Also Tru3talent: recklessly moves around in the open, trying to stalk a survivor that now already knows he's there
Ghost Face didn't become viable because a streamer plays him a certain way. Tru3 is truly bad at stalking with this killer. What he calls ineffective has given me easy 4Ks in short time, so he's not entirely in the right at all.
I don't think it's just a Tru3 thing. My understanding is that there is an increasing consensus that the ideal way to play Ghostface is to just forget stalking and play him like a better Wraith.
@Blueberry said:
It tells you he's designed badly when the best way to play him is to not even use his power essentially.
Bar some off scenarios trying to stalk just loses you the game.
This is kinda how I feel. It's nice that Ghostface has a way to be played well, but when it involves not doing the thing he is designed to do, that's a sign to me that something went wrong.

I am for finding some way to deal with some instances of camping, but making BT base kit is just going to make it so Survivors aren't punished for making stupid saves.

Why not just go ahead and remove spine chill and premo from the game instead?
Because the use of Spine and Premo does not hinge entirely and solely on whether or not EW1 Myers is immune to them?
-
Easy solution: Implement the immunity to all Survivor detection tools into Scratched Mirror.

A community manager can't be aware of every bugs. A lot of bugs get found by the playerbase, so your point is absolutly illogical and can be tossed into the bin, sorry.
You haven't done anything to remotely support the possibility that your claim might be true, so why should we believe you?
-
I miss the skating visual bug that would happen when pallets were dropped.

Remember, 85% of all percentages are made up by the person stating it.

I never thought Franklin's was a counter to Keys, so this changes nothing for me.

I'm okay with the OoO user's aura only being displayed when they can see the Killer's aura, but that's just me.

How is that diffrent than the old styptic?
Because the old styptic undoes an entire section of a chase immediately upon use whereas the new styptic only does that if they are hit within an 8-second window upon use?
Also, can't heal off the ground with new Styptic, but that's not the part we're discussing.
-
How about Survivors can choose to be killed by the Entity after they've bled out X amount?

Yeah, make those quick decisions when they do it right as you're going for the swing
How is that different from Dead Hard?

Well we’ll see how long it takes before the Killers cry for a nerf, they must’ve complained about syringes already because those are officially useless at an astonishing 16 secs for a automatic heal opposed to the PTB’s 8 seconds.
Don't get hit, and Syringe works fine. This really is one of those very specific times where "git guud" is the correct answer.

If we're talking only one use per match I don't see whats so bad about it being easily attained...
But first off, when I use WGLF, its not even that easy to get 3 points.
Because one use is all you need for it to be stupid powerful if the stacks are too easy to get.
There are four versions of MoM that we've known of so far:
1) Three basic attack hits - Too easy to get the stacks, so it was too strong
2) Three protection hits and/or safe unhooks; also protected against insta-downs - Also too easy to get the stacks, so it was too strong
3) Three protection hits - Really hard to get the stacks reliably (partially due to inconsistencies in protection hits), so it is pretty bad now
4) Three protection hits but can be activated multiple times - Multiple activations is never happening, so it is basically identical to #3

The Styptic got a buff. Endurance protects you from anything, even one-shots, which a full heal wouldn't do.
Styptic only lasts for 8 seconds. So if you see a medkit disappear right before you hit them, just wait it out a few seconds to ensure you don't proc Styptic (but don't wait too long in case it ends up being Syringe).
-
I'm actually a bit concerned over whether the Styptic is a bit too situational, but the Syringe is probably exactly where it should be.

What if they were to limit the perk to one use per match? I mean now days it almost impossible to just activate it once.
The version that was tested in that same PTB that added safe unhooks was only once per match. That was deemed too easy to get stacks.

Lets face the reality here, the update WAS and upcomming updates ARE gonna come with bugs even when delayed, but delayed updates are delayed cause they have EVEN MORE BUGS.
It was a hard decision, to make Halloween was off date and it was a promissed update, I think they are gonna learn from this, but I hope gamers will too.
If the update ain't ready it shouldn't be released, if the update ain't ready gamers shouldn't put pressure for it to be released in it's current state. I don't know, for me, both sides were wrong
I mean, yeah, the gamers should understand that devs are not infallible and do need to make tough choices, but I'm not going to weigh both sides equally personally.

Just think of this, this game updates OBVIOUSLY come with bugs, lots of them, now, what would you think about an update the Devs said wasn't ready? It's gonna come with hell lots of more bugs.
I get you, don't missunderstand me, I do support BHVR but I know this is a game with serious bugs in each new update, but this one was pretty much obvious that if it was released when the devs said it wasn't ready (based on the fact that when they are ready they do have bugs) it would come out OMEGA BUGGED wouldn't it?
I was happy that the devs said they were pushing back the update to polish it up. If the update is still coming out with bugs, that's entirely on them.

Nerf might've been the wrong word... I more meant change and buff it (mainly taking a look at the mori aspect).
I think it has room to be buffed without reworking it completely.

What? You think this is new? Remember they were thought as "cheats" in N64 or PS1? Remember the tutorials to "get out of the map"? This is NOT new
There is a difference between deliberately trying go out of your way to force bugs and just randomly bumping into them update after update, no?

Yes, a lot of ‘em. Most go un-noticed for awhile.
Well, as I said. It's a pretty sad state for gaming to be in. :P

I’ve worked on a game in the past and bugs are often out of your control, then you gotta fix them but more come.
Bugs are a natural part of game design, but "lots of bugs" as the OP put it?

Report the bugs, every game gets them each update.
Sounds like we're in a bad state for gaming, then. :P
-
I mean, what else should people do when something is released with lots of bugs?

Um. No. I think Judith's is fine. You're forgetting what it's commonly put together with: Tuft of Hair. Which makes it last forever.
The speed penalty can easily be overcome by PWYF, and you can keep those tokens easy since killing them isn't a hostile action.
If anything, I think there should be a buff to how you can mori. Like you can mori them on the floor as well. That would get rid of it's one weakness: Lockers.
It's only paired with Tuft because it's the only way to MAYBE get the Evil Incarnate achievement. And even then, Judith's Tombstone + Fragrant Tuft is still a terrible combo because by the time you reach EW3, the Exit Gates are probably already powered. Unless you are playing against full-on potatoes or get extremely lucky, Judith's + Tuft + PWYF isn't worth it outside of the achievement hunt.

Here is my constructive feedback: nerf it and tombstone piece with it.
Nerf one of Myers's weakest add-ons?
-
This was tested in a PTB but removed due to being too easy to get stacks.

SO I saved up my common add ons (Because they will be bumped up to ultra rare) do I get the amount that I saved up for?
If it's anything like previous rarity changes, yes.

I'd prefer the opposite personally. scratched mirror already gives benefits in t1 for the fact he's stuck in it. If he gets the benefit of no detection and infinite aura reading in the smaller maps in the game (cause you know he'll be using the offering to do so), survivors have nothing besides "listen for his breathing" which while I haven't played against him enough yet but usually it's too late to evade a hit 3 seconds from generator (never gen grabbed against it at least)
Nah, Mirror Myers can probably get pretty screwed if Survivors can use one or two perks to call him out or if Myers doesn't get one of two (maybe three now with Hawkins?) very specific maps. He was never OP even in those maps because he kinda needed those benefits to make up being stuck in permanent slo-mo mode.
-
I'm for buffing his movement speed a bit in Tier 1. I'd also be okay with making Scratched Mirror grant him his immunities to all detection tools again.

But here's the thing.. Myers doesn't get any benefit from changing his TR in EW1 to 0.
Other People: "But it's 6 Meters Less!!!!"
And?
Either way you have to be RIGHT on top of them to be able to know you are there.
So they nerfed him making it look like his EW1 TR got buffed. Which isn't the case.
And guess what the other stealth killers have to combat this? (To combat: Spine chill and premonition) That's right!
A second Killer ability to guess what? GO BACK IN STEALTH.
What does Myers Have?
NOTHING.
All I was suggesting is that either his EW2 or his EW3 TR gets reduced to compensate for this awful change.
You not liking the 0 meters doesn't really mean that he wasn't buffed in some way (in addition to being nerfed).

the ability to do this:

At any time.
(And yes in this part of the movie he was technically in EW2 / EW3 NOT EW1)
Being susceptible to Spine Chill and Premonition does not prevent you from doing that.

Just run make your choice. If you have MYC maxed out then the timer will run for 60 seconds the same as the Decisive Strike timer. Also make your choice is a good perk as well so win/win.
Oh, I'm not talking about the timer on Decisive Strike. ;)

OP, what do you think makes a stealth Killer a stealth Killer, if you don't mind me asking?

I imagine it is no more annoying than the guy who thinks fast vaulting back and forth is a good idea.

Your Killer perks need to have something to differentiate them between tiers.
Also, Overconfidence is just bad design. It basically just turns every Killer into a Stealth Killer
Also also, imagine 3-gen Doc or Swing Chain Freddy using Underperform. That would just be outrageous. Forget that. Imagine Corrupt Intervention + Underperform. That's a major yikes. -
Toolboxes are useless?

You can use it to troll survivors into thinking you have a mori.
I'd rather just use a Cypress Mori in that case.

Eating the whole medkit was not enough of a downside for either the old Syringe or the old Styptic, so the fact that the new ones also eat the medkit doesn't mean much IMO.

For future reference, the last column tells you what perks, add-ons, etc. grant a given status condition.

Did they recently change it? I tried Deliverance and Breakdown, never worked.
To my knowledge, Breakdown has never been changed since the version that first hit live.
