So that's the Entitled Survivor Mindset.
'You played in a way I don't like & should lose BP.'
Wow, just wow. I know Survivors invented a flat-out stupid rulebook for Killers, but now you want Killer's to lose BP for not following it? Talk about entitled.
How about I say I want Survivors to lose BP if they work on Gens too fast? Is that fair?
what?! “Entitled survivor mindset”? 😂😂 is that all anyone can ever say? No I play killer too. But I don’t stand near a hook nor does demanding harsher penalties for it make me “entitled” in any fashion. It’s not about playing the way I don’t like, it’s about playing the way the game is MEANT to be played. It’s not meant to be played standing next to a hooked survivor. Has nothing to do with me being “entitled” to anything. Killers are ez to play. It sounds like you’re really bad at playing them though. There are so many crutches and ways to slow gen speed and kick survivors out of the game really fast like using an ebony Mori that it really blows me away after all the nerfs and map size shrinks through various updates you people still complain about Being the poor ole killer. Aweeee.
-
meanwhile this game becomes less and less interesting. Last I checked video games were meant for fun. This game isn’t fun a lot of the time. If I’m going to suffer I want to know that my opponent is suffering too because he’s not doing his job which is preventing survivors from escaping. You’re not doing that by standing next to a hook :)

I said "assuming other survivors aren't nearby". By your own admission, your teammates (plural) were swarming the basement (not just any random surface hook, but the Entity-damned basement), yet you expect the killer to be punished? How does that make any sense whatsoever?
There are gens to protect so yes the killer should get punished. It sounds like You’re defending the killers right to face camp by coming up with excuses such as survivors nearby 😂 I don’t think the penalty for camping is strong enough. I’ve literally had killers tell me at the end of the match “at least I got points”.... and yet these are red and purple rank killers.... how are they even still red and purple? Like I said, the system doesn’t penalize them enough to discourage it.
-
this Borrowed Time doesn’t make it okay Though. You can’t come up with a solution because there currently isn’t one. Borrowed time doesn’t do enough you’ll just get grabbed 😂 this a terrible defense for something that should net the killer negative points at the end of the match instead. You can’t just list a perk for everything. There’s only 4 slots and every time people complain it’s “oh use this perk to counter that, problem solved” no.... it’s not solved. The topic is about DISCOURAGING that type of behavior. Not presenting a solution by listing a perk survivors can use when they already have a million to choose from. Yes BT is great, but quite honestly, I’d rather my teammates do gens if I’m getting face camped. What I don’t want is the killer getting rewarded for that. Because if I lose pip you should too :)
-
@Orion said:
There is. They lose points in the Chaser emblem (assuming other survivors aren't nearby) and will depip if the other survivors play smart by rushing gens.
Spoiler: They rarely do.
They lose emblem but they’re still allowed to be red and purple rank killers? Apparently it doesn’t affect them negatively enough then.
DA2CD234-9E78-46C2-9E3C-2CAFE8A5F7A1.jpegHere’s a game ghost face put me in the basement and stood there on the stairs the entire match. Teammates came down and pulled me out but he just put more down there and stood there. It’s unfortunate that this is considered a legit “strategy” and is not being penalized hard enough. the killers emblems might be affected by face camping but what I don’t want to see is the killer getting bloodpoints for it either. Especially when the killer gets more bloodpoints than survivors do when I did a good share of the work on my end up to the point where I was cut off due to getting hook camped.
-
This is a joke right? Killers ez 😂
1) it’s near impossible to not get at least 2 kills every match. (and I main plague - she’s purple rank but I see red rank survivors EVERY MATCH)
also, I think killers at high ranks shouldn’t suffer pip for not getting 4K when survivors don’t have to escape every game to pip. That part seems broken to me. That’s where the inequality lies and maybe people won’t be as upset about the lack of balance if this were the case. Where’s the fun in dying every game? There isn’t.

@Leslie said:
Iridescent Head is fine. The problem, if there is one, is the extra Hatchet add-on(s). The safety of having extra chances undermines the risk vs reward of an IH.
It’s definitely not fine 😂 listen, people complain about survivor mobility in this game. So why would it be okay to put something in the game that requires survivors to have good movement to avoid hatchet throws and then turn around and complain about Survivor 180s ? Devs even said 180s and current movement mobility wasn’t intended. So how are unearned one shot downs okay?
1 Iri head isn’t THAT bad, but combined with infantry is too much. Especially when they can locker reload easily and they didn’t have to earn it. You paid for it. Survivors pay for items they might not even get to use almost every single match. That’s another thing I have a problem with. Killers pay for iris and Mori’s that are guaranteed use. I think they should AT LEAST be more rare and worth more. Survivors bring in what... a key that they are not even guaranteed to get to use maybe but... half the time and yet theyre charged the same amount for it? Nonsense.

@AestheticCharms said:
The most cheesy thing in the game tbh, not fun to play against at all .
It needs to. The fact that you can even combine them with infantry and ebony Mori just seems broken. There needs to be a cap somewhere.

So last night I had a game on Legion (literally my second(?) game, had only one perk and no addons) last night against a SWF that was just steamrolling me. I figured I had to try something, so when there were four gens left, I kinda "herded" them to the most distant one and then didn't chase them off of it, leaving three extremely defensible gens remaining. Figured it was my only hope since I was being outclassed so badly.
That game...It. Lasted. Forever. They were constantly trying to bait me to chase someone halfway across the map, I was constantly pushing them off gens. I could get a ton of hits but no downs with the power, they would always have two people heal up whoever I hit while the fourth tried to get a gen. And so it went.
Finally I broke the stalemate by - sad as it was - slugging one of them, carrying him to one of the gens, and forcing him to bleed out. With only three left it made their strategy exponentially harder and I eventually got the 4k.
But really, that game must have lasted nearly an hour. I didn't time it, but I do know my wife got two CS:GO games in within the time I was in that single one. 😮 Sure, it would have probably been more efficient for any of us to just give up and get into another match, but I think we were all determined to see it through after a while.
So, how did your longest game go?
longest game? Spawning in against an ebony Mori which is equivalent to about 5 minutes or less playing survivor. That’s about as long as it gets. Not fun at all. I can’t believe I’m still waiting on when this game will actually get to have fun playing it. I counted all 14 games I played today. 11/14 killer brought an ebony Mori. How many of my teammates brought a key? ZERO.
-
Killers get to keep their ebony Mori’s while enjoying the luxury of map size decreases and removal of loops that prevent them from getting quick ez downs. Why should they be easy or quick when killers have ebony Mori’s? Hooks Conveniently around every corner? Psssh.
Nah I’ll have to agree with Ivaldi. My experience playing survivor (I’m rank 1-2 always going against red rank killers with the occasional purple) is that killers are getting 4Ks more often. This recent update in shrinking map sizes and further ridding maps of survivability make it less and less fun. For once I’d like to spawn in and not feel immediate pressure to hold down one button constantly over and over again out of position to have nowhere to run. Pallets are a mile away.

@AnnoyedAtTheGame said:
- The killer isn't easy to play at all.
- face camping is a strategic part of the game
- The killers range isn't that much
When I play killer I'm always going up against swf lobbies 90% of the time. I don't get an easy game at all. Using coms in the game is why survivors are so OP.
I wasn't going to post on here but you baited me into it
you’re semi right about number 1 and 2.
For number 2, while face camping is indeed a strategic (although not always a very good one) part of the game, it should come with a loss of points for the killer for not playing effectively and being lazy. I don’t think the killer gets penalized enough. The Last thing I want to see if I got camped on is the killer getting even remotely half the amount of points as a killer who actually works for his kills let alone more than me when I was his only kill. Honestly, they should be implementing a perk or something of equal value for survivors that allow them to gain some sort of benefit from being in the killers terror radius WHILE on the hook. Maybe that will discourage face camping or killers that like to hover around the hook baiting the rescue rather than protecting gens.
*You’re wrong on number 3. The killer has ridiculous range on the melee lunge. Vault hit boxes still haven’t been addressed. Constantly I’m two feet on the ground on the other side of the vault and the killer still gets the hit off. People call it lag yet it’s so consistent 😡
*side Note: survivor movement is ridiculous too though. Those 180s are nonsense and shouldn’t be happening.
-
Yet survivors are struggling to find a brand new part in their blood webs. Rarity is broken in this game. Lopsided in favor of killers. I have 14 ebony Mori’s on my plague after leveling her about 20 more times over level 50. I got her to prestige 3 and then I did a test to see how many I would get once I got to 50 and I just kept going. That’s just too much. Yet I’ve seen a brand new part about a handful of times and he’s prestige 3 level ... approximately 200 with how many times I over leveled lol
-
@OniWantsYourMacaroni said:
I love that Addon Idea.
I would maybe lower the rarity though because deep wound isn't really a very strong status effect.
Rarity? What does rarity have to do with anything? This game still hasn’t even gotten that right 😂 ebony Mori’s are a model example Of the false reality of the meaning of “ultra rare” because they literally appear in almost every single bloodweb level.
-
Skill checks should be put in place of the struggle phase button

As a killer, I’d rather face good loopers than survivors who hide and make me waste my time running around the map trying to find someone. Looping is at least interactive and I can practice my own anti-loop skills.
This game is all about survivor - killer interactions. But they don’t really make people feel like doing that when they :
1) Make maps smaller
2) Take out loops /Reduce number of pallets (I think on certain maps there’s just such a lack of productive pallets)
i mean come on. if you’re going to only give us a handful can they at least be good ones? I feel like I should never see a pallet that has just a car next to it or some random debris that doesn’t go farther than a few steps so killers Can just walk around 😂 Useless.
3) when they keep Ebony Mori’s in the game. Take out keys if you want to, but I want more opportunities to play around with the killer. Thats just not fun 🤷♂️

@Steah said:
What's the point of setting up a 3 gen and patrolling it if after a single kill everyone else can escape via hatch. If hatch spawns on the other side of the map you have no way to guard it and keep the 3 gen. With the state of the game, 3 gen builds are the only way for some killers to be even remotely usable. Yet this item completely ######### them. Not to mention that it can come out of nowhere if survivors find one in a chest. Whats the counter play to that? Run frankilns every game in case they get a key from a chest? Keys are a stupid item that just aren't fun to go against and punish killers for doing what they are suppose to do. They should be removed or completely reworked
You’re so wrong 😂 It’s an easy out just like ebony Mori’s are. Keys aren’t even as common as Mori’s though. How many people have to bring in a key to even use them? Just one, but even then it depends if all 4 are communicating. Tunnel the guy with the key and hope nobody else knows about it. Mori’s are unfair too man. You’re being one sided here with the issues here. Complete bs You won’t acknowledge this 😡😡😡😡 I find my experience playing killer I have about 20 something ebony Mori’s. WHY DO I HAVE THAT MANY? How is that even “ultra rare” 😡😡😡😡😡😡
i actually see Mori’s more than keys
-
DCs aren’t always that players fault though. DC penalties are garbage they don’t need to be in a game like this because you can’t even rejoin 😂 plus they only benefit the killer to get the kill. Survivors shouldn’t be upset with someone DCing because they can still hook suicide. No matter how you view it from a survivor perspective that particular player can always find a way to blow the game. So how does implementing a DC penalty really affect survivors? Negatively. It’s just another reason to lose interest in playing. Not a good tactic. It’s not always that persons fault for DCing. Now with the killer, guarantees that he gets his kill - makes this a KILLER SIDED buff.
-
It’s just not very fun to be honest. On Both sides. Feeling like I have another chance after the killer catches me once or twice (mostly once) has me feeling delusional every single time. It’s always something. Mori, Camping, My struggle phase button doesn’t work anymore or a lag spike hits causing it not to register, easy downs that require no mind game from the killer. Now they’re shrinking maps and I find a pallet every once in awhile. Seems pretty bare Most of the time. It’s deflating. Vaults seem broken, I got two feet on the other side of it, I take a step or two and still get hit. I thought they were fixing vaults? They didn’t.
while playing killer I swing and my hit doesn’t register because survivors have unparalleled agility. Makes sense. I’m a killer and they’re not scared of me. Cuz it makes sense to 180 these kinds of killers. Yep.

I just was one of two survivors left on a map. The other person got found and downed while I started struggle phase. As soon as they were hooked the game ended for us both. I didn't get to finish my struggle. The other person didn't get an opportunity to either. Is this new since the patch? Does it just end the game immediately now if everyone gets hooked?
I think the only thing that needs changing in terms of the struggle phase is the button you press. Why should one repeatedly spam A or Space bar when you can just do skill checks instead is beyond my understanding 😂

Been playing the new update all day, and when survivors want too gen rush games still end in 5-6 mins. There simply isn't enough time for someone like Leatherface or Deathslinger too pressure gens unless they 3 gen. Plus BHVR buffed perks too simply make the gen nerfs completely void, making the whole thing useless. We need heavy nerfs too gens for killers too have enough time too pressure gens, no one enjoys being stuck playing the same 3-4 killers because they are the only ones who can handle the gen rush.
except 1)maps got reworked- they’re smaller (more killer favored)
2) gen speed nerf isnt void because they still have to use that perk 😂 not everyone has room for that in their build. It’s 4 slots and the more they take from survivors and keep dangling it over their heads inside a perk that I’m pretty sure nobody was using before then I don’t see why you think that. Besides it doesn’t always see much use when you can’t always do a gen together. It’s always been more effective to get multiple gens going at once. Most ppl know this.
3) get discordance /thanataphobia/ maybe some dying light
4)if they keep slowing gen speed nobody is going to want to stare at a progress bar waiting to die for you. That’s just not fun. Besides, are they gonna slow down hook timers in return to make up for that?
5) okay so what about those same 4 killers you’re talking about why should their job be easier? 😂 gens would never get done. Nahhhh. I think you’re wrong. Some killers have too much mobility.
-
@Nurgling7 said:
Turns put when people abuse the ######### out of lenient bans, you have to move to stricter ones. Blame all the cryhards who abused the previous system.
you're missing the point. I am not upset at the fact that penalties exist or how strict they are in regards to the compounding and/or the maximum duration for repetitive quitting. I said it should be able to pick up on the fact it wasn’t intentional but it doesn’t. That’s what I mean by strict. Has nothing to do with the people that abused the previous system 😂 that was intentional quitting what you’re talking about
-
@LetsPlayTogether said:
So who cares about a minor penalty?
No it’s not a “minor” penalty when it’s 30 min especially when it’s not my fault and the game won’t let me rejoin. It has happened before.
rejoin options have always been a thing though take rainbow 6 siege for example. Since there aren’t rounds in this game you can’t rejoin I understand that. But come on.... there’s gotta be another option. Or at least pick up the fact I didn’t press start and leave the game. It’s 2020 there should be some way to code it to read that by now 😡😡😡😡
-
So using prove thyself is only productive with 2 people doing gens? Every survivor after that you’re just taking on the burden of their additional 15% speed debuff? 😂
it’s not a 1 for 1 trade?
it literally says “for every other survivor gain 15%” lmao they should reword that then if it’s only a one time overall 15% rather than 15% each additional.
-
Second chance perks are necessary. Killers get downs so easy a lot of the time 😂 so how would that be fun for survivors? they took out loops too and made maps smaller. All I see are killer buffs here stop it.
-
@Magikazam said:
So let me start by showing some fact. it take 80 sec doing a gen whitout any tools , alone, providing you don't hit any great skill check. it take 120 second for someone to die on a hook. Survivors not only have numerical advantage and the ability to apply presure on an average of 2 or 3 differant gens (If we consider that at all time, 2 survivor are either healing/in a chase/on a hook). but they also have lots of perk to give themselves even more time, negate their own bad play and to litteraly remove the need of other survivor and being able to carry themself. You don't even need these perk anyway, you got body blocking,flashlight save. hook saboting, the ability to do bones and remove killer perks.
What does killer get? between 5 and 15% more mouvement speed (Unless you are nurse and you are acctualy slower then a survivor...) A power that depend on your killer and that are questionably weak for some. when you need addon to do well, it an issue. Survivors got tons of perks to extand chase time, and item to slow down killer doing his objectives. You would think it the same for killer right? Wrong. Sure killer has option, but only has perk and these perk are questionably usefull..
Pop- Probably the best killer perk atm. it the only reliable perk that any killer can use to slow down generator speed, the requirement to use it okay and reward killer for avoiding camping.
Thanatophobia- It trash. it only slow by 4%, assuming all survivor are injured or on hook. If all survivor are injured, they probably wont be on gens. It can work on some niche build like Plague, if you face people that refuse so cleanse...
Dying light- only give 3% per hook and cap at 27% if you have hooked everyone trice except the Obsession. The downside being that the obsession heal other faster and un-hook faster. It real bad. By the time the repair speed debuff become relevant, you don't need it anymore. The time you win on gens is also slightly negated by the fact survivor heal faster if they play they card right.
Hex Ruin- has the downside of being a Hex, a relly weak one now that it got nerfed.It only work on generator that aren't worked on...so it don't slow down survivor unless they love to stop repairing at 60% to randomly find another gen...
Hex Huntress lullaby- Weak for a hex, take to much token to become usefull and revolve around the survivor to make mistake. Survivor wont miss skillcheck after 40+ hours of playing...
Remember me- Affect door opening time up to 16 seconds... not relly that usefull, you can play trapper or hag and set trap and it would make a better endgame build than this.
Blood warden- Is the endgame version of pop. Require you to be sure to have someone to hook when endgame happend. it not that bat, but it is certainly a gimmicky perk for endgame build.
Corrupt intervention- this one is kinda weird in term of usefullness. A must have if you play trapper or hag. on other killer too, it a risk that depend on the survivors.Will they try and find the 3 unblocked gens or will they simply do chest and bones? In all case it make them lose them and make chase start earlier but you need survivors to try and do those 3 openend gens. The downside is it becoming a dead perk after 2 minutes. A decent perk
Thrilling Tremors- same problem as Hex ruin, but this one can work on ultra aggresive slug build with oni or legion.
Surge- A good perk if you can down survivor where you want.
With all those perk, arguably 3-4 of them are viable, and only a single one of those can relly be slapped into any build.
The second issue with survivor is still related to perk.
Survivor strenght and weakness should be their teams. Alone they are weak, together they are strong. Sadly it not relly the case with all the perks that remove that need of having teamate helping you. Im talking about perk like selfcare, unbreakable, no mither, delivrance, those kind of perk. of course not all of them are op meta perk, but the issue stay the same. You can do something yourself that wouls usually require another survivor to do. It give your team a hudge time save. let just take self care for exemple. if you don't have it, that force one injured survivor to get healed by someone. so you got 2 people off gens minimum. if you have selfcare. only the injured one aint on gens and can heal himself. worst case senario, a chase is going on and 2 gens max are worked on till the injured person is healed. Self care make it so there alway one more person on gens. If you can go around survivor weakness of needing teamate, it useless to make them a team in the first place. these perk make your whole team stronger and give so much of a time boost...
Then we got the second chance perks. this post is getting real long so i will resume it real fast. Killer can't do play, they relly on survivor mistake. Survivors already need to be hooked trice. so in total for a 4k you need to down survivor 12 times. you hit survivors for a minimum of 24 times, assuming your killer don't oneshot and that survivor got no second chance perk. This number is relly hight and second chance perk turn those number way bigger when the entire team use them, and most of the time they do. that being said If the whole gameplay of killer relly on using survivors mistake, how come the survivor get a way to completly destroy any kind of advantage the killer had by playing correctly?
Now come the rant on camping and tunneling.
Yes I agree, camping suck, yet killer get extremly punished by the ranking system for doing it, no matter what the situation. My problem with this is, Why punishing the killer? they will lose if the survivor simply rush gens. it should be up to the survivor to counter that, not the game. The current system also punish killer who camp when the 3 other survivor swarm the hook before the killer has time to leave, and in that situation, camping should be the killer option and it should be rewarding them for playing correctly.
Yea I agree, it not fun bein tunneled. but why does survivors have SO many perk to counter it. Relly even whitout perks you can sabotage hook, flashlight save, body block. and then even if you still want another safer option there is BT. Why is the killer punished by so many counter cause they try to use the best logical way to slow down the game? Imagine if killer had a perk that punished you real hard by resetting a gen cause you worked on it insted of randomly jumping into a gen that at 0%... it just stupid.
Now im done ranting so I will finish this post talking about DS and OoO.
Everyone talk about how DS is strong and got op combo with other perk, so I think it just easy to fix those. Remove locker+ds combo, make it so it Unbreakable and DS have a shared ''Exhaustion-ish'' coldown so you can create a perfectly safe situation. I would personally just remove this perk or rework it cosidering survivor already got so many anti tunnel perk this one is overkill. Lastly, I would make it so hitting another survivor skip the 60 second on DS, cause that just not tunelling anymore and that prevent all the stupid save you could abuse with DS.
Just rework OoO, it litteraly a survivor nerfed version of old freddy Dreamworld. it make SWF so strong.
So what should be changed, well I think there a couple of options, notes I don't find all those option perfect, but yea. here they are. And let me be clear, i don't want ALL the option to be done. only maybe 1 or 2 of them so the survivor don't become useless.
- Nerf survivor second chance perk
- Nerf survivor self reliancer perk (self care and co)
- Buff killer Gens/gate pressure perk.
- Give killer a better way in their base kit to slow down gens.
- Keep survivor perk as they are, but make them die on second hook.
- Keep survivor perk as they are, but survivor each only have 2 or 3 slots.
Nerf this and nerf that. Yeah 80 seconds vs 120 to die on a hook doesn’t seem fair. But that’s why there’s thanataphobia and the probability that multiple people can go down and get hooked making it hard to do all of those gens. There aren’t 5 survivors to make it 120 seconds to match 120 seconds on the hook. there are 4 survivors doing 5 gens. So where is your math.

So the latest patch has been a hot topic on the forums lately, but oddly enough no one mentioned the Spine Chill nerf the devs tried to slip past us! Perhaps the devs tapped it because more players were realizing its potential, but whatever the reason a nerf was definitely unjustified. I bet you're wondering right now how exactly the devs nerfed Spine Chill. Let me tell you.
Spine Chill nerf in latest patch: Great skill check bonus reduced to 1% from 2%
"How is this a nerf?" you might ask? Well, Spine Chill offers a 10% skill check chance increase while active, and by nerfing skill checks they should have adjusted this perk to compensate, like they did with Stake Out.
My Solution Idea: Spine Chill will now offer a 20% skill check chance increase, not only does this compensate for the skill check change in terms of gen speed effectiveness(2*.1=1*.2), but it makes Spine Chill a good farming perk for skill check points and a good Autodidact synergy perk. Let me know your guys' thoughts! Did Spine Chill deserve the nerf? Is this the best way to buff the perk? Thanks for reading.
Distortion needs a buff not spine chill 😂

um, do you not see the reason why? That would create a balance issue making it faster because he’s INVISIBLE and FAST while he’s INVISIBLE. That’s a little unfair. Wraith has add ons that make it faster anyways. Hes already OP. You get the jump Hit on survivors and either Go invisible again and walk away to find another unsuspecting victim (maybe run sloppy/thanat) or go invisible and chase the same guy again. Simple. Ez. Please explain your logic, I would enjoy hearing how Discordance helps in a game where the generators pop before you have time to get there because of the limitations of movement speed
As a killer You absolutely don’t have limited movement speed 😂 first of all that factor depends mostly on map size which most are small-medium. And they’re getting shrunk even more in the future. There are a few killers I feel need compensation for their lack of potential but most seem pretty much just fine. You got plenty of high mobility killers like spirit, billy, oni, op fast cloaked wraiths with fast uncloaks abilities 😂 whatever man ....I can’t argue with you about the obvious.
discordance helps plenty what are you talking about. The killer could have broken that up before it finished in 30 seconds 😂

No, it really doesn't. And this particular topic is about a generator popping 30 seconds into the match. Please, in great detail, show where exactly this killer hard tunelled and facecamped, thus making your comment somewhat valid.
why are you being hostile towards me for staying on topic? My comments relevance lies in the first two words of the original post “welcome to” I just made a variant of it 😂

People want to bring in ebony Mori’s, face camp, tunnel. And there you complain about a gen being popped 30 seconds into the match when you could have brought in discordance and prevented it.

maybe discordance would have helped in this situation. There you go, issue resolved. I have no sympathy for killers 😂

Please explain what this comment has to do with the post, since it is only valid if the killer is tunelling and camping which is impossible to do without initiating a chase or hitting a survivor
It has everything to do with the topic of gen speed 😂 that is what she is complaining about yes?
-
Technically that was almost 40 seconds. But look, you had plenty of time to check about half the gens before that happened. It was just the wrong half. How would it be fair if you could check all gens before 4 people could finish 1 gen? Sad thing is, your legion and you’re not even using DISCORDANCE 😂😂😄😄😂😄 that’s a fail on your end

Welcome to DBD home of the infamous tunneling and camping strategies where killers complain about gen speed but don’t want to leave hooks 😂

People need to make a distinction between Solo and SWF.
SWF is the power role. Solo is balanced as long as you don't have potatoes for team mates. And "balanced" as in it's not too difficult and not too easy.
Solo doesn’t feel very balanced at high ranks. Nope. Solo is near impossible when you’re constantly going against good killers.

so, I just bought the game about a month or two ago, and main wraith as a killer. I've learned everything I know from a popular streamer known as Tru3Ta1ent, and frequently see him go up against sweaty swf groups. As I hit green rank, I recently started going up against the same thing. Survivors who were blatantly swf who were trolling and annoying the ######### out of me. Today was the last straw when I faced a few red ranks, all swf. They all had borrowed time, decisive strike, and would conga line each other when injured. Two of them burned the crotus prenn asylum offering, which is a pretty bad map for wraith in my opinion. They were t bagging, and overall made my experience horrible. After all 4 escaped unexpectedly, they started spamming me with "baby killer", "trash", etc. Its ridiculous that I can't find any chill games anymore, and I decided to just quit the game. I was told by my friend, who convinced me to buy the game and play with him, that the game was slowly dying and he wanted more people to play it. Well now I see why. So many people, new players like me especially, are being pushed away from the game by these toxic swf groups. Something needs to be done, and until that happens, I won't even bother to touch the game. Devs can at least add some sort of casual game mode right? Kinda like rainbow six siege with casual, unranked, and ranked? Idk, all I'm saying is this ######### needs to be fixed, because its broken as hell...
It’s hard to balance an asymmetrical multiplayer. I get where you’re coming from. But I still don’t think it’s fun for the individual that never stood a chance as a survivor either when you bring in ebony Mori’s. You main wraith 😂 because you can’t beat anyone if you’re not fast and invisible with no heartbeat? you main the killer that also has some of the most OP add ons I think it’s more so a skill issue then. Wraith doesn’t always have to chase lol he’s a hit and run kinda guy. you should know that from true.

You can say that all you want but if I see a key I'm still going to mori your ass. You get free escapes I'll take my free kills on you. It's only fair.
I disagree with this. Keys still require survivors to do all the gens unless half the team is dead that’s when it’s even remotely effective. There are plenty of games I’ve played where keys just don’t get used especially playing solo. Killers with plenty of practice especially high mobility who can cross these small-medium size maps fast (which they’re making smaller) is already not fun. Think about how easy it is for a killer to find someone and down them. So that’s it? That’s all the survivor gets is that one interaction with the killer and that’s supposed to be fun for him? No. Because you can bet on everything as soon as you get off the hook that killer is coming back as soon as you get off so fast whether he or she was hiding in a bush undetectable or just super high mobility and just down you and Mori you. I think keys are a vital part of the game not Mori’s. My feelings towards the two are nerf keys and remove Mori’s. Keys become useful if you are either last alive (hatch doesn’t open anymore) or all gens are done. Mori’s removed entirely. I can actually understand green ones. That one makes sense. Yellow ones are practically useless. But ebonys nah. It’s an offering slot for killers first of all. They don’t really have any other contenders for that slot and it has too much of an impact on the game. You already got add ons 😂 what do you need the offering slot for? Survivors don’t have anything

Can there please be a suicide in dying state button ? I really don't appreciate getting slugged for 10 minutes because the killer wants to secure a 4k. Just let me get onto the next match please, I don't care if I lose at this point or what happens to the other survivor the killer's already won. Just let me let go, like on the hooks.
Or at least make the dying time faster.
edit: I don't mean slugged once or twice, like after the killer downs you after getting hooked. which can easily be countered by bringing unbreakable. i'm talking about 2v1 matches where you get slugged 5-8 times, the killer finds one of the two and this just continues until both are downed or one dies from the bleed out.
This is just sad. Is the game really that bad for survivors?

You sound angry though. Almost child like angry. You are being really aggressive about staying on topic. It only takes a few words to ask nicely rather than multiple paragraphs creating a whole example out of it to prove your point

Dude, players like you are the reason other players can't have a civil discussion.
We're not jumping to extremes from one side to the other, we're talking about corn, we're not talking about keys or Moris.
Please calm down and do your best, even if it hurts, to stick to the topic.
Civil players - "Can we get a 1 charge buff to medkits please?"
You - "CAN WE GET RID OF KEYS THEN?!?!?!?!"
my earlier post is relative. The following is a relative response because he’s talking about what hasn’t been addressed. I simply came up with something that also hasn’t been addressed.
