I got what you need dawg:
- Designate her M2 hits as "special attacks."
- Rework her two recharge addons to: a. Give her back her M2 being a basic attack, and b. Apply Mangled.
- (They are already doing this but) fix the range addons.
- ???
- Profit
Your welcome, your welcome.

I really like the game map with Hillbilly too. It's always strikes me as odd when people complain about the map for its pallets. Theres no windows.
Game is to pallets as Lery's is to windows. They're designed to have an overabundance of those resources.

I believe the maximum possible score in the sacrifice category now is 8400. So yes, it needs adjustments.
Probably the 20th time I've suggested this now: Additional 500 BP bonus scores for the first time each unique survivor is hooked. This provides a maximum additional 2000 points, for a total potential of 10,400, so you can hit that 10,000 point cap with a 'perfect' game. This also replicates the old bonus from BBQ in a lesser capacity, potentially incentivising killers to not tunnel early on in the game.
That’s not a bad idea. I would be okay with either method.
-
My first thought was Clown but y’all are making good points about Doctor and Trickster.
I think what makes Clown scarier than others is his ability to out physical most people (he might be the strongest original killer), him not discriminating against children (multiple childrens costumes), and his drugging of victims. I find him grotesque when reading about him.
-
You’re still going to have killers return to hooks and all they see is a blood trail. This just gives that poor soul who was unhooked a chance to get to a tile. ‘No chance, no choice.’
-
There’s nothing wrong with his chase potential imo. He doesn’t need to be quicker (115) or shoot faster. They made those adjustments for a reason.
If he was quicker, killer players would be less inclined to use his power. They’d also have to nerf his power to compensate.
Shooting too fast was his original nerf.
Buffs I would recommend is reducing his terror radius back down to 24 meters (he’s the only 110 with a 32m terror radius. And nerf M&A to not work as well on 24 meter terror radius killers.

Again, you're both ignoring how ShiftW deletes his 1v1, which is the only thing he has.
I do not acknowledge this as a weakness unique to Deathslinger. Milam actually took the time to describe specifics of why his chase is strong.
Very good read.

He has no 1v4, and his 1v1 is only useful against Survivors that don't ShiftW away as soon as they hear his TR (bad Survivors).
How is he anywhere near A tier? He's not even C tier, mid D at best
This is a misunderstanding of pressure imo.
If he wins chases quickly (great 1v1), all the killer player needs to do is find the next chase. The best gen regression a killer has is survivors on hooks.
Scenario: one on hook, one in chase, one rescuing. There’s an unhook happening while the next hook is occuring.
How is that not great 1v4 pressure? Focus on winning chases and the teams inevitably collapse.
Again, he is A-tier because his chase is a 10/10. Maybe 9.5/10. That is the most critical stat for killers and he’s out of his mind in that ability.

Those are great builds!
Have you tried Deathslinger with I'm all ears instead of Whispers?
I slot I’m All Ears as a chase perk 😉
I find I like Im All Ears on shorter 115 killers like Ghostface and Legion. They tend to be able to hide where they are at (the killer) while knowing exactly where the survivor is. Causing unexpected cut offs.
Deathslinger is so tall that the survivors can still see him as he reacts so I find it less useful. You might be able to get some crazy shots off with it but I am iffy about recommending it. STBFL and M&A are the better chase perks for him imo.
All I need to know is where the survivors are at and chases end quick. Thus, Whispers.

I don't know. I think Dark Theory is just kind of bad. You have to set it up, maybe somewhere the killer will never go, and they can get rid of it.
Honestly, the only Boon worth running is CoH. I guess some arguments could be made for Shadow Step too, but the rest of them are... Kinda bad.
Wow, free unbreakable in this tile? Too bad everybody is being slugged on the other side.
I agree. This is what happened to Hex totems as well. The best ones are still Ruin and Devour Hope. The original Hexes.
-
I limit my builds to two regression perks. Generally its a tracking perk, chase perk, regression, and a flex.
Pretty much always built my killers this way for years.
For instance, Deathslinger is Whispers, STBFL, Pain Res, and M&A.
Hillbilly is Discordance, Enduring, Pain Res, and Spirit Fury.
One tracking. One chase. One regression. One flex.
-
Shadowborn and Lightborn are bad perks. Shadowborn is nice to have. Not at all worth a perk slot. I’m with the ‘put it in options’ people here.
Lightborn is a training wheels perk for beginners. It’s fine. Serves a purpose, but you won’t need it later on.
-
Deathslinger has the best 1v1 chase power, sans Nurse.
This seems to be the ingredient missing from this thread. He also has a lot more perk synergy than other ranged killers. Like with STBFL or any terror radius reducing perks (M&A, Hysteria, etc.).
If a killer player is struggling with his chase power, you may not be near the skill cap. If survivors are ‘wiggling’ than just ADS cancel. You’ll gain distance. Pretty much every property to him helps the killer player win chases faster.
I would say he’s A-tier off his insane chase potency. S-tier, imo, is reserved for high mobility killers that get hits while moving fast (Nurse, Spirit, Blight, etc.).

Well where's your gameplay? If she's not difficult to master you must have a ton of good footage we'd all love to see, there's a reason why shes got such a low pick rate and kill rate and it's definitely not easy to master her otherwise new players would all pick nurse and just assume they were good with that killer because of how well they did but its quite the opposite and they get so frustrated they drop her all together and pick an easier killer to play and the stats do back that up with her low killrates, it's very likely that the nurse mains you do encounter are the ones carrying it to that point and if you only accounted for newer players itd be even lower of a kill rate, so explain how that translates to easy to master?
You’re welcome to my discord channel. We can chat while I play Nurse.
-
- Nurse isn't difficult to master.
- Her range addons are getting unbugged.
- Her only reasonable nerf is reducing the strength of the recharge addons or deleting them.
The good nurses that people complain about are using the two addons above.
-
I was also bummed. I was excited about the next gaming reward.
-
I believe they officially stated 8/30/22.
-
Thanks Cashel
-
I like the game map. It is a map of pallets. To reduce those pallets is to add more windows. I quite enjoy how windowless it is.
-
Reassurance is not enough. Band aid is the correct description for this perk.
-
A nurse that knows what she's doing is a lame trial. It's only fun when it's a new nurse. There's no feeling of outplay left when her blink can be so unprecise and swing so wide that it doesn't matter.
Tack on the state of tunneling and camping, her ability to utilize exposed perks, the lolDS. She needs to be brought down to size.
-
You’re paying for the P1 level. Then the P2 and P3 levels afterwards on the shrine. So if you bought level one only, then Prestige to level one, you still were able to access those perks sooner than later.
I think prestiging once makes the level two and three versions of the perks available for other killers in the bloodwebs.
-
I only use it on Trickster and Huntress. Maybe Dredge.
-
The ten seconds doesn't make THAT much of a difference. You still have to play well. Constant pressure.
-
Yeah you're right. Guess I'll just keep playing this game in a polite protest.
-
It’s because they enjoy watching Scoot Jun meme around.
-
I think his original ADS time was around .15 seconds. That’s takes a quicker reaction speed than is frankly humanly possible. It is now .40 seconds and it doesn’t feel bad. It’d be nice to reduce but I do not expect it to go down much more nor convinced that it’s necessary.
Making him 115 would discourage players from using his power to end chases. I also disagree with this suggestion. Players suggest 115 because that would put him back in line with other 32m terror radius killers.
Terror radius is my only gripe with nerfed Deathslinger. I think it should revert to 24 meters and nerf M&A accordingly. Post nerf it went from a strength to practically a requirement.
I believe he does need an addon pass. But he’s one of those stronger basekit killers imo. Top five chase potential of the killer roster.

As a Mikaela enjoyer I’m happy she gets another set.
Not happy that she looks like the grinch now though.
More like Cruella to me.
-
Stridor Spirit probably isn’t that big a deal anymore because the game around those old SSs have changed. No more Ruin/Undying stacking. Or not likely.
-
This didn’t increase the grind. Yall are goofs.
-
I already have every character P3’d. Survivor and Killer. I was spending some time unlocking more perks on some survivors but the developer update has stopped me.
No reason to now.

Than there would be no point in playing Legion.
@TAG said:

That would require a total re-work of Legion, as their entire power hinges on Deep Wounds.
Sounds like no one cares if they nerfed Deathslinger and Original Pain then.
-
Nope, and the more I think about the new endurance changes, the more I think that Deathslinger, Legion, and Original Pain may get their deep wounds removed.
-
It does look nicer. Want to see what the animation is like.
-
True. Deathslinger will basically never deal with Dead Hard again.
-
They’re at least buffing all m1 killers in a few weeks. Pig suffers from many of the same issues.
-
Usually ten of any killer’s add ons are useful in some manner. Ideally, if the basekit is really strong, the addons provide less benefit. And worse kits get stupid strong addons.
-
Record them cheating. Then spend the time waiting in game reporting them.
-
Looking at the prior two years, I would say the week of July 28th. Both of the last two years the new Tome was released on 7/28. I think they will likely push it one more week.

I reported a cheater other day and it got banned in idk 3 - 5 days later? Good.
Did you put video proof in your ticket? If not them dont even bother sending it
Yeah man. My reports are .. resolved .. in about two business days.
-
I personally run Bamboozle on Trickster. I find he’s very weak if survivors get to the window before you have LOS. The bad timing ruins his antiloop potential. If you catch them as they are hopping the window you can often score four blades.
But watch Otz’s Trickster vs Truetalent at killer shack. That kind of scenario is why you want Bam on him.
-
Maybe one day we can get a blighted Freddy.
-
Ruin needed to be nerfed.
-
SWF isn't an issue.
-
I say Darkness Revealed as well. Short cooldown.
Very informative: Where survivors are. Where they aren't.
-
The icon is prestigious. Don't have to wear my legacy outfit to show it off either, right?

If anyone’s curious, the max with event bonuses is 272,350. OP was close.
The calculation is 32,000 x 8.3 (five flans, BBQ, and BloodHunt), plus 6,000 for twelve event hooks and plus 750 for finding crown and unlocking bonuses.
