I prefer Unnerving Prescence to Huntress Lullaby. Messes with Gens too. Plus with the speed of Caul and a smaller range, you pretty much can't heal.
-
I think Ruin is in a good spot and gives way for other newer perks. Still passive gen regression.
-
Sometimes you think it don’t be like that but it do.
-
Just use "Spasmodic Breath." Got it first try and didn't have a particularly good game.
-
This game is mos def killer sided after the last mid patch.
-
Definitionally fair.
-
That Blight might’ve had to pick up their kids or had a phone call saying their mom died.
-
I do not believe he needs any changes yet. I will keep this thread in mind but my instant reaction is “naaaah.”
-
Well now his charge addons are as strong or stronger than the original ones to be nerfed. The flashlight one (Black Grease) is total doo doo though. Billys should never suffer a blind.
Being a 1.10 killer with tuned carberator breaks his ability to loop on most maps. So if you can’t catch survivors in a bad spot, you’ll lose horribly.
-
If you look back at the era they nerfed him, there were several clues to why he was nerfed:
1. They were in the midst of changing all the maps. Don’t know how veteran you all are but there were true ‘god windows’ back then. One per map. They made many of the maps smaller (in some cases significantly smaller).
Hillbilly without overheat had no problem because he could traverse these admittedly large, survivor sided maps without much issue. By adding overheat, Hillbilly’s couldn’t pop up after a long sprint and gun right into an M2 down.
2. Oni was released within the last year before HBs nerf. The HB vs Oni debate was an absolute joke back then. Billy had a 1.5 sec saw with his best addons with a quick cooldown to boot. Oni had to earn his ability. Now the debate makes a lot more sense since both are much better balanced.
Oni is known for Infectious Fright snow balling teams. Hillbilly could do that without earning anything and traversing anywhere without penalty.
He was king of the most unbalanced time in DBD. Survivors were full of unbalanced unfair advantages. Killers were equally ridiculous and unbalanced. Were.
Now, I personally love Hillbilly. I think his addons could do with more buffs but truth is his basekit is one of the simplest and strongest in the game. Everytime I see him C-tiered all the while I am absolutely crushing teams. Well makes me feel good.
-
Yes, I have. It's intermittent. Seems after the last MidPatch, people are far more inclined to play killer.
-
Hillbilly and Mikhaila. Although on a long enough timeline I would definitely try to P100 every character.
-
Bound Extension is how far Wesker goes while carrying a survivor after the M2 connects.
-
It took me a while to understand that she is not huntress, deathsligner, or trickster. You do not want to 'aim' at survivors. She's a trap killer. You aim the bird as a threat to survivors not to go and if they cross the path, hit em.
-
After playing as and against him, I think he's balanced correctly.
-
Thanks Cashel

That's not a different function. That's just less function.
The difference in the time you can use the key (addons) makes it a different function.
-
I like it. Shows progression on your favorite characters. Although to this point on PC (two and a half years) I’ve only collected about 650M bloodpoints. Means I could have only P100’d six characters at best.
Crazy the grind it would take to achieve this but totally doesn’t mean anything other than being prestigious.
-
It serves a very different function than the purple. Purple basically just opens the hatch. Green lets you use the addons with no hatch. Iri is both combined.
-
It would be awesome, no argument. I think the issue with her skin is she has a very different height compared to the other two in game. It wouldn’t look right without changing the camera position. Ends up being a coding nightmare but maybe they’ll prove me wrong.

Just make a system that records match data like most modern games, or server-side sanity checks. i don't get paid to spend 10 mins after each 10 min match to file a report and submit it. No one is asking for hackers to get banned without evidence, we're asking for a functional game with reasonable server-side tools.
I’ve submitted about ten reports in the last year. Ten minutes is far longer than it actually takes. Try a minute. I’ll do the report mid match in hostage situations.
-
You guys are psychos to think people should get banned without evidence. It’s hardly a heavy lift either. Pull yourself together rather than complaining that your words aren’t enough.
-
I’m going to have to disagree. Heal slowdown is a fresh change to the game vs generator slowdown.
Maybe after more experience my mind will change but at the moment I want to see it more.
-
There’s been several killer matches where I started the queue at 100% then get nothing. Check the main menu afterwards and survivors have the bonus percentages.
I wish it ‘locked in’ at queue. I agree that it is unreliable.
-
He still has bugs unfortunately.

I have to say I disagree with you heavily on that one.
I can see why the Helicopter Stick could be kinda good with the Iri Vial for information when they use first aid spray, but why would you need an add on to reveal their aura when you already get a Killer Instinct on the survivors location?
Using an add on like the green Video device that increases passive infection or an addon that gives you smth when a survivor gets fully infected is a much better addon slot to pair with Iri Vial in my opinion.
Because the survivors start with infection. So naturally they spray as soon as they can. If you find them right afterwards, they can be reinfected again with the same conundrum.
It also pairs extremely well with Lethal Pursuer. So yes there’s killer instinct. But then you can see with certainty where they are. Often times I had aura reading for the first twenty seconds of the match on the survivors.
-
The purple addon OP has in “E” tier pairs extremely well with the Iri Vial he has in S.
I would recommend you try more combinations.
-
Yall are bogging down the hype thread with semantics. Looking forward to playing tonight. I felt like I was getting more accurate yesterday. Should feel clean now.
Also his autodrop M2 bug is still present (watching Dowsey). So not out the woods yet.
-
I’m also hoping for some more Blighted cosmets
-
Walking through the remnant while the Dredge player is teleporting about, destroys the remnant. It's actual effect I do not know.
-
I also want to add that using a perk is not abusing it.
-
Yup, that’s lame. Your friend would’ve had a better experience not playing in your mmr level but just solo for a bit.
-
Reassurance makes me want to camp less.

I bought school girl Spirit before Sadako existed. I have no idea what I was thinking. Years of blasting death metal has rendered me partially deaf and I can't even play her against survivors that are not equally as impaired. That was one of the only DBD cosmetics I ever purchased. Along with Bubba's swag drip (w/o the hammer), Piggy Wiggly's envy, and the Ghostface (just the cloak) that should have been default.
Morbid Angel
-
My current favorite build is: STBFL, Bamboozle, Pain Resonance, [Flex].
My flex right now is Lethal Pursuer combined with the aura reading addons. Also like Unnerving Prescence.
Wesker has a great anti heal build with: Distressing, Caulrophobia, Sloppy Butcher, Unnerving Prescence.
-
They made him garbage and entirely bugged. That's the answer you're looking for. They screwed it up. We wasted our money.
Half a year of hype for this mess.
They were pushing it out as fast as possible because Evil Dead has a new release the week after.
-
Was about to say, Spirit was murdered as a teenager by her rabid father.
-
They screwed him up. This is clearly not what they wanted him to play like. Right?
-
I think it’s good but with new BT, maybe less needed.
-
I think he’s better in chase than Huntress. I only agree that his terror radius is too large.

I hope so. I spent yesterday dashing directly through survivors.
They are literally in my camera as I slide by and it ‘missed.’ Then because I missed I now eat a three second cooldown and the survivor is ten meters away from the slide.
-
The map feels worse to me. They removed a quarter of the map by ‘splitting’ it into two maps. But then add another twenty percent back to the map, by the exit gate, so it’s very close to being the same size. Condensed the generators so they are easier to find, and made it more pallet dense.
I would say they made the map worse, then nerfed the new killer on release.
All around disappointed.
-
I had the same issue. Didn’t even realize he had an exit gate blocker. It definitely does not work if intended.
Just like everything else about Wesker.
-
They nerfed Wesker into the ground on release. Absolutely disappointed.
-
As long as Wesker’s power is in the state it is, he’s most certainly an M1 killer. So disappointed.
-
It’s not even close.
-
Let's be honest. This killer's M2 is garbage. Unplayable mess.
-
They have a coding conundrum. If it's large, hits that look like hits, hit. But it also detects walls and objects and stops the rush. If it's too small, it gets past more of the objects he was bouncing off of in the PTB, but now when he misses, it's so much worse. Because not only do you not get the hit, but you probably traveled 10+ meters away from the survivor.
-
I’ll have all perks purple by my first prestige on Wesker and the new Survivors. There’s no question that the perk grind is gone for me.
I am however looking forward to the prestige cosmetics grind. Have 3.8M saved for today. I am anticipating four prestiges levels from that on Wesker.
-
Kinship requires a survivor stay there during the duration and does not notify the killer. I’m pretty sure, in a hard camp situation, that Reassurance is better.
