Are addon rarities for killer at least meaningless?

I mean you look at a good bit of killers like dredge, pyramid head, bubba (one addon not iri flesh thats good). Freddy for one addon. And im sure more that im not thinking of where just the rarities don't seem to matter. You can have in pyramids case where every addon but range is mediocre. You got freddy where the one iri is probably the most worthless iri (let alone possibly addon in general) in the game. We still have bodyblocker hag. And other addons that you don't seem like your getting much stronger (or infact are getting weaker). So I'm just wondering if addon rarities really matter from a killer perspective? If it does matter in your opinion. Should rarity always mean better addons?

Edit:Of course there's a good bit of killers that the addons actually fit like wraith. I am just wondering if thats more common then you having addons that are higher rarity that are just straight up bad?

  • Many many MANY killer addons are worthless. Deathslinger has it really bad in my opinion. Nemesis ca do with a bit of love and please help onyro...

  • Depends on the Killer.

Twins' Toy Sword is still their best add on, and it is common.

  • Usually ten of any killer’s add ons are useful in some manner. Ideally, if the basekit is really strong, the addons provide less benefit. And worse kits get stupid strong addons.

  • Addon rarity is determined by dartboard.

  • Bodyblock hag is very powerful if you are able to adapt your gameplay to its

  • rarities are fine as long as the addons are different, and not like for example doctor, when he basically has 5 addons repeated multiple times
