Imagine unironically calling... For WRAITH nerfs.

Do you have any other data to say otherwise? I don't think so, next.
No but like I said, that outdated data you used was faulty to begin with.
You might as well have said "I knew this guy who said..." And it would have had more traction.

The average game last more than 10 minutes, so I don't get your point.
Faulty data from April.
Next.

We saw the same thing with instaheals. Survivors can't accept when something is brought down to balanced from previously OP. Mettle of Man, instas, Old DS, Adrenaline (hopefully...)
I honestly just hope Adrenaline doesn't activate when hooked and no speed boost when exhausted.
-
Raising survivor BP gains would incentivize me personally to play a lot more survivor

If I die to slugging I would've already been dead to a hook minutes ago so it just gave me more of a chance at living.
Yeah in all honesty, I prefer being slugged than hooked.

I know why it was useful. I don't even disagree with nerfing it. I just think it went too far.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/869331#Comment_869331
How else would you describe a change that removes the primary use of a perk? As I said above. I don't disagree with nerfing it. It just seemed too heavy handed. Hell if they'd have made the silent landing part active even while exhausted I'd have said it was a lateral move. One that removed the problem with balanced while adding utility to it.
Problem is the primary use was a side effect unintended by the devs.

He's a good killer that people were excited for, and now has the endorsement of the wonderful Tru3

Restrictive and clunky..🤔 that sounds about what they're going for. Just look at janky Nurse.

Yup, Haddonfield will be a balanced Map after the Nerf.
Let's hope.
Might still be a little survivor sided, but hopefully LESS survivor sided and kind of Preschool 1.5

I think you guys are missing the point. It was a design choice to turn off and drain his power when picking someone up. They want to encourage slugging and getting survivors off gens to pick up downed ones while someone else is chased.
At least I think that's what they're going for. These are also the people who thought long and hard about changes for Nurse and came out with a complete and utter dud so who knows anymore.
While I personally do slug a lot to get survivors off gens, I usually like doing that out my own choice.
Having that integrated into the power seems a little restrictive and clunky.

@HeHeBoii said:
Survivors tend to over exaggerate when they have something changed for them. Some people used this perk in every build. Now they have to use another perk of the huge perk pool. Big oof
I know I love BL, and this change won't really change that either, and I've been switching between BL and Lithe ever since I got the two perks.
-
@thrawn3054 said:
Uhh completely changing the usefulness of the perk. Not saying some of the loops created by it weren't unfair. But gutting a popular perk generally upsets people.
The usefulness went in because of the fact that more loops were possible, rather than a getaway tactic like most other exhaustion perks were.
-
@arslaN said:
Not really. It's a dead perk without the reduced stagger. There is really no reason to use bl over other exhaustion perks now.
It still turns some of the most dangerous spots inti the safest, you just have to NOT be exhausted
-
He seems pretty good besides some QoL changes he could get.
-No slowdown when collecting orbs
-Allow the power to stay on when picking a survivor up
-Reduce sound when out of Rage
-
The logic in the OP's post is incredibly faulty and honestly it kind if reads like satire.
"We told you you were doing too good!"
-
Those are two very different things that IRONICALLY beat each other out. The only real way to save a hook from a camper is to be coordinated and communicate.
-
So your solution for the killer about an concerns on an upcoming perk is to counter it with another...
But when they still have concerns over another perk, one that will likely not be nerfed because it's niche as is, you complain?

That's not really how game balancing works. It's not about us versus them, it's about what's best for the health of the game overall. Thinking about nerfs and buffs in terms of what's "fair" is juvenile and detrimental to good game design.
Having said that, this thread is a question, not a discussion, so it's not really an appropriate place for us to have a debate about it.
Every thread is a discussion. Especially ones in the mcfreaking discussion category.

No I quoted the right guy

@PistolTimb said:
Swfs can play with whomever they want. It would punish people trying to help new people learn the game instead of getting frustrated and quitting. Why is this even an issue exactly? You didn't really give any reasoning outisde of the killer getting an easier game.
And a rank limit would stop that how?
The more experienced player can still tell them how to play, they just can't be in the same match. While boosting is a whole other story, the lowest rank survivor is likely a weak link. Now have that weak survivor be rank 18 vs a bunch of rank 4s and you got yourself a disaster.

ruin or some other slowdown instead of BoP
I do personally like Thrilling Tremors as my slowdown since Ruin gets cleansed way to quick.

Lol imagine thinking that The Oni is too powerful.

@Speshul_Kitten said:
Because some SWF abuse it ( 4-Man SWF on Haddonfield, The Game, Mother’s Dwelling, etc).
Instead of thinking critically about the issue and coming up with a long-term functional solution; such as, blocking off windows on Haddonfield, creating doors where windows are, etc. The devs thought it would be a good idea to use the typical over-nerf of a bandaid solution instead.
“What’s that, solo survivors get hit harder because of the nerf you say? Well let’s forget about that, we have more cosmetics to work on for you to buy from us!” 💰💰
While solos did get hit (typical) I would dare say a lot of solo survivors also used Balanced in the same way a SWF did.
I know I sure as hell did before inching myself over to Lithe.

@humanbeing1704 said:
it's most likely gonna be a perk for new players
Ironic that the new player perk is on a DLC killer with a hard difficulty

If the Nemesis Legion is intentional, then yes~
If it's not and DW gets another nerf, buffing Borrowed Time ONCE AGAIN... I'd still recommend him. Legion may not be the best but he is best boi.
-
@StopDropPANIC said:
So this is countered by just not stunning him? The "old Legion" had no counter at all so I'm not sure you can say he's back.
Well then he just stabs you like any previous Legion. And mind you, not stunning a killer is an impossible task, ESPECIALLY when injured... Which Legion is very good at.
Needless to say I am so happy my boi has his 15 minutes of fame.

True, might be a good 4th perk if you are confident you don't need the slowdown.
Oh i didn't realize they get exhausted!
-
Art team does amazing as always
The Oni's perks are kind of odd. Nemesis is his best one, Blood Echo is a worse Sloppy, and Window or Opportunity 2.0 seems ill fitting for a HARD difficulty killer.
Yui's perks... What were they thinking?
Balance concerning Legion is a whole lot of balance changes that aren't being paid attention to. His nerf was undeeded, but now Legion 1.0 might make a come back because bE didn't realize that Legion works with Deep Wounds... Deep Wounds lowers when out of TR... Oblivious and Undetectable mean no TR.
-
@PistolTimb said:
You mean the old meta? Unless sabo makes a return we won't see those perks used regularly.
With Yui's new perk, Iron/Agitation might be.

Oh, I wasn't sure since Plague's vile purge doesn't deplete stacks. I thought it might be a similar mechanic to that.
Vile doesn't really hurt them, it just makes them sick until they become injured.
-
Now that I think about it... What if they made these sudden changes because The Oni has a perk that would have made Legion absolutely insane?
Please tell me I'm right, there has to be some logical reasoning behind this.

No not every i should maybe put that in (not all survivors) just mainly the big ego ones lol
In my honest opinion, explaining that a hyperbolic statement is also "#notall_____" is redundant and stupid.

I made a comment on your response because it really wasn't needed in the first place. So what, I can put an Off-topic in front of my post to slight someone or devalue the topic and it's ok? Hmmm.
And, who was arguing? Hahah-- I simply responded to someone that responded to me. How about we just leave it at that so there will be no more distraction to be had. No need to lock no need to fuss. Movin' on.
Movin on with a several paragraph response. Cool.

I see it as the survivor's heartbeat is showing. If it doesn't show... Then they likely don't have a heartbeat.
