bhvr currently has an annual revenue of $113 million. It was $30 M last year.
Wow and they're an indie studio? Hmm... yeah, that amount of bugs and lack of player support doesnt seem so defendable all of a sudden.

Depends what you're taking and how passionate you really are about it. A good professor makes a lot of difference too.
-
Possibly. He's killed many people over the years and there's no statute of limitations for murder, religious sacrificial reasons or not, but, I hear the issue they're having is bringing him in since whoever summons him must also die. Go figure.

Are you in college now?
Not at the moment. Stupid U.S. didn't take this Corona ######### seriously so no way I'm going back onto a campus filled with science denying morons.(Seriously, I thought college/university was for intelligent people?) So, I'm just working right now.

Thanks, but I don't need luck, I need help, PLS
HAHAHAHA Ah, high school... those were the days. :3 I feel ya, friend.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels this way! I mean, when did Horror get so violent? What kind of sick degenerates would even want such a thing? This game is making children worship eldrich gods, dress up for Halloween year round and turn meat packing plants into unsanitary altars of debauchery and sacrifice! What would jesus say?
-
Good luck!
-
I'm sorry but "The Spring"? Nobody is gonna take that seriously. Code name rework. Something making reference to it being a killer machine inside.
The bio is a bit bland and needs more detail about his own crimes, what being in the suit is like and where he's coming from as far as his motivation to make a deal with The Entity or what he hopes to find or do now that he's here.
The Killer Power actually sounds really cool.
I have no idea what makes a balanced perk so I won't be commenting on those.
I know nothing about protagonists in FNAF either so I can't say anything here.
I can clearly feel the passion and see the foundations of it. Maybe gather up more details and facts sort them into a narrative that bleeds over into DbD and give them focus. I like the potential here.
-
I chalk it up to labor/time, employee pay and license expenses. They need to pay the workers, they need to make the business money and the need to recoup what they spent to use Silent Hill in the first place. I keep saying this is a Konami thing and no one listens. *shrug* LOL
-
Yeah, I punish the ######### out of cocky douche bags. I usually tunnel them out and move onto a good game, win or lose, and on special occasions I mori them off first hook. :3 ######### trolls.

I was waiting for a match and was scrolling through the forums and heard the last little bit and was like “Is that...what I think it is?” I sat and listened and sure enough I was right. I felt that it was important that I share my fountain of infinite wisdom lol.
I hummed along to it and I'm assuming(from how many "syllables" were in the tune) It's Happy Birthday dear Dead By Daylight.

I have been waiting days for someone to mention this. Haha

Slowing the game down does very little when it comes to actually fulfilling the killer's objective which is.... To kill the survivors. Otherwise they are just m1 killers. Even Trapper and Wraith have more going for them despite also being m1 killers.
It seems that hardly anybody actually plays as Legion which should say a lot. Which brings up another question. How do they know Legion is fine if the sample size is so small? But, if they think Legion is fine then what can we do?
To me, they seem to be in a very bad place. There have been a few members of the forum who said they enjoy Legion but the feeling I get is they are the vocal minority. Maybe, I just need to accept that I don't like Legion and just ignore them. That'd be a shame though.
Yeah, I use Legion regularly and I can reliably 4k and get Iri emblems with them.
I feel I should mention that I'm usually an 11 to 13 Killer though but I do face single digit ranking players often.

In the new Silent Hill Map, in one of the main hallways there was the hatch. I (the killer) see the last remaining survivor, Cheryl, at the other end of this hallway, we're both at an equal distance from the hatch, we stop for a moment realising the situation, it was like a wild west showdown at high noon.
After a moment's pause we both break running towards the hatch! Who will get there first! Just as we were both about to reach it, Cheryl uses Dead Hard and dashes forward, jumping right in...
...into the f&%^$£@ locker next to the hatch.
I was going to close the hatch while this poor man was in the locker for a moment, probably cursing this game. But then I stopped myself and said... nah, go ahead mate, you're alright, I won't deny you this. Cheryl jumps out of her locker and right into the hatch...
"Did you intended to do that mate?" I ask in chat.
"HAHAHAHA, NO! THAT F@%&**^$ locker man! THANKS SO MUCH!
This is now in my top 3 favorite posts so far in my time on these forums.

What's our character pattern; is there a certain pattern that we've had in the past? If anything, he'd fit our character pattern. It's not uncommon for two licensed characters to be released one after another. If you're referring to the character's aesthetic, I guess that's mostly subjective.
The main thing I struggle to see is how a game that gathered a young audience 6 years ago can bring that same young audience to DbD now. Any 13 year-old who liked FNaF when it was popular are all almost adults now. Even the newer fans of the series are older, due to the older YouTubers with young audiences (such as Markiplier) playing other games.
EDIT: wording
Also, aren't the animatronic things more bloody and worn than the Robbie suits? This is coming from someone who bought Frank's pink suit, LOVES it and hasn't taken it off this whole event, by the way. Plus, the animal is just a skin, there's a machine inside actively seeking to kill anything it comes across inside. How is that not Horror enough? Ghost face takes a ######### selfie for ######### sake, that wasn't even a thing back in the 90's! I find it hilarious when hardcore "Horror fans" bash stuff for not being scary/aesthetic/serious/etc enough when there is so much god damn campiness in our genre. So unselfaware. LMFAO

Because I like to keep 1 limited-time item as a collection, it's impossible to get them now.
Wait, they no longer appear??? Event over?
-
Why not just stay 50, use up whatever you have left and then P up so you have a ######### ton of blood to level with???
-
I dunno how Survivors do it but for me personally(obviously Killer here) I have a different outfit for each of my Killers depending on the season or holidays. Since Survivors are basically just skins, why not find a rotation table that works for you?
Example: Ghost Face
Spring: Classic cloak
Summer: P3 bloody suit
Autumn: Diablo pancho
Winter: DLC exclusive Monochrome suit with white accents
-
Sometimes I go immersive and Ghost Face will only kill their obsession, Pig hats everyone and those who remove it get to escape(it's less common than you think), Legion kills asap and Pyramid Head only uses cages and Judgment.
I play pretty casual until someone shines a light in my face then I go into full on kill mode and eliminate them with totally toxic play and then go back to chill game.
-
No. Robbie the Rabbit actually is a creepy Horror icon, in gaming culture.

The bubble tea got me. LMFAO

Drown them. Drown them all. They'll still scream in the night.

Make jpegs unable to properly post to the forums?
JK, I clicked it. DC? Just salty.

I am going to assume everyone is talking about red rnak matches because, I hover in the teens(11 is my highest on average and once or twice I hit 9) I play for hours, probably a dozen matches a day or so, win or lose I have fun, I come across some people being douches but I either tunnel them away or(if they just loop and troll ridiculously) focus on the rest of the team and while I think Survie guide to play Killer is bullshit I do have a code I play by which is simply don't be a dick. Since 4th anniversary began I haven't intentionally killed a single player, plenty of hook suicides and DCs though, just because I tried getting at least some blood points from hooking? Talk about soft. Are red ranks really that serious about the game? I mean, it can't be worth your mental health and stability.

Because the amount of input on the other side is wildly different between a mori and a key. As a survivor, I can get downed early, camped and tunneled off hook, and mori'd in less than 2 minutes. If the killer tunnels, it's rare that the first person hooked lasts more than a few minutes. Whereas with keys, the earliest a key can be relevant is 3 gens in, and that's only if 2 survivors are already dead. If 3 or 4 people escape with keys, you're likely going to lose that game anyway, as there's 1 or 0 gens left with more than 2 people alive. Moris can end a survivor's game with little to no chance to actually play the game. Keys just end a game that's well progressed.
You forgot the part "for whoever can make it to the hatch in time.". Which still begs the unanswered question of does the Survivor community also call out their own who ditch their teammates to get slaughtered? I mean, yes, you bring up a valid point: Well progressed match, more points than dying 2 minutes in but, still a shady move to take off without the others or only inform a select few of the option to escape. I mean, maybe there's just an inherent self serving side to the Survivor role that I'm unaware of as an outsider? I'm only able to call it as it looks from my perspective. Keep in mind; I'm NOT invalidating the aggression towards Killers who 4K mori in 5 minutes or whatever, simply asking if that "######### you, got mine" minority of your community is ever policed as well.
Side note: has there ever been a record of hatches working differently? I ask because you mentioned the 3 gen, 2 deaths rule for hatch but I have played games where it was opened with all 4 alive.(See my above mention of 3 ditching 1 scenario). Did I come across some kind of hack or bug? I play on Switch so I genuinely don't know if that's possible not.

Praise The Entity.

It's also why I, as a Killer always open a gate myself first. EGC, anyone? ;3

That's using it as intended, the self imposed etiquette of not using mori's noed etc is ridiculous.
If you bring a mori someone is gonna get mori'd obviously, how obnoxious it is when you do... that is about game state, are there 4-5 gens left and looking like some potatoes then go for another hook its worth more bps. Are gens flying off the wrack then ease the pressure and take this down to three on one.
No different than keys, someone with a key will likely escape and maybe help their friends escape. I rarely see anyone go on about oh man I never take keys I feel bad. Yes I have been mori'd plenty of times I'm a potato survivor who gets caught all the time. Sometimes in less than 2 mins I watch the animation (some of which are great) say well that was viscous and re-queue.
Often after the first or second mori people start DC and suicide on hook to get out of game. Just keep playing and get mori'd, folks knowingly lose bp's from dc or sac due to trying to avoid getting mori'd then piss and moan about not getting blood points, its just foolish.
FINALLY. Someone said it. I've scrolled plenty of threads on this topic and almost never comment but I had never ever seen anyone mention this from the flip side before. Hatch jumpers who abandon their team anyway. The result is still 3 vs 1 so how/why is a mori worse? If anything, that Survie just dissed you by ditching and leaving you to deal with whatever the Killer is packing, mori or not. Full disclosure: I'm a Killer 99.9% of the time and save my moris for holidays and rituals(events). So, in the spirit of fairness; What does the Survivor main side think of solos who grab hatch and run without them? I mean, I've even seen a 3 person escape and leave a single person to deal with me and like, that's some shady #########. Do Survies ever call each other on that, cause I've never seen it if you do.

Walking across bridges. Being underneath one is fine but if I'm walking across, I have to stay in the middle and away from the edges. My twin brother likes to jokingly push me towards the edge or if it's a wooden suspension bridge, he'll shake the ropes just to freak me out. I'm not sure what it is about bridges specifically because usually I'm okay with heights, lol
You could possibly just have a fear of falling. Heights and falling are two separate phobias. For example, even if I'm on a tiny step ladder, no more than 3 feet off the ground, my legs get a slight shake and my palms sweat a bit. I have excellent balance but the fear is still there psychologically.
Obviously, that's my fear. I love climbing trees but once I hit a certain point and then look down. ######### that noise. LMFAO Call the fire department.

Frank is just a douche who talks ######### and has the ego to be leader so the others go with it but if his partner, Julie, demands anything he immediately goes for it to impress her. Him and Joey always dare each other to do stupid #########, even mess with other killers and then run away but Julie is constantly one upping them both. Frank is the most taunting to Survivors during matches but also the most prone to stuff like tripping or bumping into stuff because he gets so into it and gets reckless. He might kick back with not only Joey but also Ghost Face to talk stab technique and argue aggressive and fast vs stealth and stalk approach.
Julie is arguably the real leader since she has Frank wrapped around her pinky. She is always the first to make the team try on new cosmetics, plan strategies and give pointers to other team members and also take note of Survivor counter strategy. She's got the most potential out of them all because of how focused and uninhibited she is(often performing best in trials as well as outdoing Frank and Joey during their dares). She is quick, decisive, clever and focused. Besides her bff, Julie, she also chats with Amanda(Pig) as she is an older and more experienced prolific killer woman. She is also the only one who knows about Julie's 'condition'.
Joey is smart and persistent due to his personal fitness and focus training during his tim in the realm. Having held lackluster mundane jobs before this new life, he excels in the realm because he now sees looking after his friends as his role and purpose, something he can finally feel passionate about and embrace. He is second only to Julie as far as potential but he is the fastest runner and gives the hardest stabs. He sometimes holds back during the dares with Frank because he knows underneath Frank is a bit insecure. Overall, he performs as a Killer because he is the only one(so he thinks) who truly understands the situation they are in(No way home with only each other) and doesn't actually want to kill but does so to appease the nightmare that holds them here and protect his friends.
Susie. She has absolutely snapped. She fully embraces and communes with The Entity, worshipping her and wanting to feed her more and more souls. She is entirely devoted to her and she never discloses her trials to anyone but Julie because hers are the most sadistic, twisted and cruel techniques, often going into psychotic breakdowns and blind bloodlust rages. Her cuts hurt the most, cause the most bleed out and she is prone to wiping the blood all over herself and even drinking it. She relishes in the screams and cries and agony and her only conflict is finding the balance of time for her to torture them and sacrificing them as quickly as possible for her master and god, The Entity. She never speaks during trials only laughing insanely or screaming. Julie often has to console and calm her down after her trials and is her only thread left to sanity. If she isn't with Julie in some capacity then she is often in the darkest places she can find, mumbling to herself and The Entity.
