Bump for more theories. I'm on a Lore binge lately.
Survivors gotta be scared to die but it's been said they get memory wipes each time in Archives. Maybe the wipe isnt total? But, remembering what dying felt like would probably be traumatic enough to motivate someone to avoid it happening again. On the other hand; it could just entirely break them on the first go or they could become apathetic towards the experiences, as mentioned before. Who knows? Let's get some more theories going!

Not to derail thread but, fellow Lore enthusiasts; mind filling me in on what Baker, Vigo, Alchemist and Archive guy are up to? I do as much Archives as I can but that's admittedly not much.

I always reach exits with other survivors and they never rush out they always seem to wait at the exit then start telling the killers to come on or start crouching non stop in front of the killer lol i never really understood why people do this as im still new to the game

As a Pyramid Head AND Pig main, I see no issue with anything they've done to either BESIDES RBTs are a bit too long for my liking and I still dunno what circumstances freeze the timer or not and Cage auras would have been nice but they aren't really needed.

I still play him, got him to P3 a couple of days ago. Just trying to get my Legion to P3 now. Pyramid Head is definitely my second fav after Ghost Face though.

Sadly, toxicity just seems to be a widespread disease in pvp gaming. I wish there was some easy solution but the fact is it comes down to personal accountability for each and every single individual in each and every single match across each and every single game. Sorry to hear about your friends first impression of the game.

@55timballoons, yeah, I agree with the lore and because of Spider-verse, it can always be from an alternate reality where Kletus gets Carnage but Pete doesn't have/loses his powers.
The fact Carnage makes his body into various blades is also fitting.

if you guys actually kept up to date you would see the devs are looking into it because of their survey. im just saying if they do im out, i didnt play this game 3+ years putting up with toxic behavior to lose the aspect of the game i actually enjoy. Sometimes, people give wink/nudge responses because, ideally, a community gathered around a shared interest can relate and joke with each other. Anyway, yeah, I get what you're saying, it's pretty ######### sweet that I can finally play as some of my all time Horror favs, something that adolescent me would have never imagined possible and it fuxking rocks but Horror is a widely diverse and versatile genre with many facets. Fears are as numerous as the number of media they are conveyed through and anime is no exception. Now, I'm not gonna be someone who tries to win you over to anything else, that's for you to decide, but the fact is that scary comes in all kinds of flavors and for better or worse this game has compiled a hell of a collection and I'm personally looking forward to what else lurks in the shadows.
