    Well I mean Sony doesn’t care what bhvr has to say to them if we’re being honest.If anything it’d probably backfire on bhvr. What lesson can bhvr teach sony? If I’m sony idaf about anything bhvr has to say they’re just there to make me more money
    So BHVR should just lay down, and let Sony screw them over, and screw over their player base?

They seem to be the only company out there that manages to screw over different segments of their player base like this. Microsoft did it all at once even with different divisions they coordinated it.

    The email hack showed how incompetent sony can be and apparently they've still got a bunch of people in positions they shouldn't be. Although that's true for EA/Bethesda/ UBisoft etc.

    Its called consumer quality. BHVR wants to keep their player base happy. BHVR is just as much responsible to please their player base as Sony is in this situation. If BHVR just lets Sony step all over them, it’ll just happen again. This little SNAFU happened with Huntress release, now it happens AGAIN with Clown. Sony will just keep doing it over and over, if BHVR doesn’t put their foot down and tell them to straighten up their #########.

    I can blame Sony, but BHVR is just as much at fault for not giving due compensation to those affected. Also, yes, for most of them. I’m still missing a few Adept achievements. I just don’t feel like playing them. I could get them, I have the perks, I just don’t really want to. (Laurie most of all, as a Killer Main, I refuse to even equip that broken ass perk called Decisive Strike.) 

    Thing is, without Kate and Clown, this BP event is completely pointless for me. All I can do is buy random crap I don’t even want/need. I’m just wasting BP. Meanwhile, all EU player and PC and Xbox are getting everything they want.

    Be happy they didn't delay the patch til the DLC was released. How's about your Double BP Weekend without shards uncapped? The Devs didn't even have to do the 2nd BP Event since the DLC got released within their timeframe, but they are being nice and reasonable. Maybe you should try that too instead of complaining that PC and Xbox users get a little extra. We damn well should considering all the whiny spam the past couple weeks from people about this.

    How are you being punished? You get everything and then some? They want to make the BP event a second time fine, however they should make due special compensation for NA region who got double screwed over out of the weekend.

    Compensation as in playing catch up to something we should have got from the get go? No, that’s not compensation. That’s just everyone getting a freebie because we got screwed. I’m not asking for much. Just something like some shards or Auric Cells. We got screwed for 4 extra days. I think maybe enough Aruric Cells or Shards for one free cosmetic would be fine.

    I already have all My Killers at Lv50 with multiple prestige with all the perks I want. I already have all the perks I want on Meg, who is my Main Survivor. The rest of the Survivors are just skins. I have no need at all to level them further after I have gotten thier teachables that I wanted.

    Im not angry about platform differences and such. We chose to play one console first off, and chose PS4. However, this whole “where you live” bullshit is ridiculous. There is no reason other than someone is being lazy.

Now I don’t get to play this weekend, but hey, it comes out the day I go back to work! So when it comes out, I don’t even have time to play it anyway!

    Then they do this “second double BP event” as compensation for PS4 NA... though all platforms get to enjoy it, even though they didn’t get ######### over like we did. PS4 NA got ######### over on Huntress release as well, now we’re getting ######### over on Clown release as well. 

    EU and asia got screwed with the tournament timeslot, guess this is sweet revenge :lol:

    So you had to stay up late to play he tournament if you were even accepted. Really hard core...

    Get used to it, because it'll keep happening. Wanna know why? Because like Marvel found out, if you release stuff outside the USA first, it riles up all the entitled 'muricans (who apparently make up the bulk of the population) so they'll consume the product in droves when it's finally released for them. This doesn't work in literally any other country. Why do you think that is? Maybe it's time for a change of attitude.

    that is what makes the story all the more peculiar.  this has happened several times, each time the pre-lobby ping was around 100.  yet, these incidents occur.  i had a trapper do the same thing earlier.  running seems to make this worse.  sprintburst in particular.  
    To be honest, some Killers will start downloading stuff when they get a match to make lag. 

    Though that makes it worse for me as Nurse. Lag screws me over lol.

    I have every right to be pissed off. I have every right to be dissatisfied with this treatment. 
    I understand why you’re mad but you seriously can’t wait 4 days on the confirmed date? I know that they screwed up badly with everything but we finally got the 2.0 patch and all the cosmetics we wanted! And we still get the double BP event, we just won’t be able to spend it on the DLC while the event is going on, but the devs have decided to give us another BP event for the inconvenience. It’s okay to be dissatisfied with the treatment they have been giving us but you gotta get used to it, they are an unprofessional company and will always treat the PC players as if they’re above console, especially since PC is their first original platform.
    Getting screwed out of the weekend I have off to play simply because I live in NA is highly infuriating. 

    It’s not the wait that bothers me, it’s the lack of concern by BHVR that irritates me most of all, along with their unprofessionalism. Throwing us a bone with another double BP event (that mind you, PC, Xbox, and PS4 EU gets to enjoy, even though they didn’t get screwed like we did) is a slap in the face. It’s like saying “Yeah, we screwed you. Here’s a piece of candy, now shut up. Oh, but but you also have to share with everyone else too, even though we didn’t screw them.”

    Platform differences I’m fine with. This region thing though is completely unacceptable. There is no reason that Sony NA can’t have it out the same time as Sony EU. If I was BHVR I would be raising holy hell. Wednesday is a national holiday, I get that (if Sony NA is based in USA) but there is today and Friday. Two standard business days, there is no reason at all to delay if for 4 whole days.

    I might have had some sympathy for you, until you acted like North America is only the USA. Maybe take the blood point event time off to open a map and learn that there 23 [BAD WORD] countries in it.

    My mistake... I was quite angry when I posted this and wasn’t really thinking of that. Yes, the whole NA region. This is a massive slap in the face for all of us. I’m not 100% certain what all countries fall into the NA region.

    I was calm about this, and ok with waiting as long as we got the DLC and everything by Thursday. It’s an Annoying enough to be treated “second class” because we play console... but then getting slapped in the face again by Xbox getting it before us... the “Straw that broke the Camels back” was this. I lost my temper fully at this. 

    I have never seen such an utter lack of concern, such a massive mishandling like this before. This is the most poorly executed launch of a game or associated DLC I’ve ever seen. Huntress was bad enough the last time, then there was the SAW snafu. Now this?! I’ve never seen a game company mishandle launches like this, then sit there and offer such a paltry compensation for thier ineptitude. They can try to blame Sony all they want, I’m not buying that excuse.

    Basically, PC, Xbox, PS4 player who *are not North American* get a free extra double BP event and be able to play the DLC. While everyone who plays on PS4 in North America gets ######### over.

    Not necessarily. I use it with synergies because I like its concept. I really wish it was buffed. Contrary to popular belief, almost no one but killers view it as a hard mode. Almost everyone I know, views it as something they wish was better, but currentally synergies with resilience

    M.Cote and the developers literally stated it’s nothing more than a bragging rights perk. It was never meant to be useful, or synergize with other perks. They won’t buff it because it was never intended to be useful.

    Used to see this same garbage with people whining about console exclusives and all that. So you got it late. They are adding another BP Event, so you can level up then. FFS people, just start your Clown or Kate out at level 1 and do it normally. I NEVER save BP for Prestige. I much prefer to start them at level 1 and actually learn the character's powers instead of immediately leaning on all the crutch Perks I have. Maybe if more people would do this, they might actually learn how to play instead of relying on a stale crutched up meta on both sides.

    The only thing I’m pissed off about is the EU and NA thing.

    This is the most poorly handled thing I’ve ever seen. I’ve been very patient and nice about this up until now. This is just ######### ridiculous.

    You honestly think a Nurse has no commitment to her Blinks, do you? You honestly think it’s simple to just Blink Blink, hit? She has no auto aim. It’s all on you to predict where the Survivor is going. You even have to account for the slight movement they make after you’ve Blinked. As I stated before, the first Blink is used almost ALWAYS to to catch up to a Survivor to run. Your second Blink is the strike Blink. You seem to be under the false impression that Nurse usually even TRIES to strike, or is even within striking distance, on the first Blink. She has to play catch up first, to which she has to FULLY COMMIT as you like to say, to her second Blink to hit. To which, she eats a stun even if she hits. Where’s Billy’s stun that the Survivor has a chance to run, hide, and escape even if he hits them? Oh right, he doesn’t have one because it’s an insta-down. 

    Also, last I checked, Billy doesn’t HAVE to use his power to be effective at Killing. He can just run around and M1 everyone. Where is Nurses option to just not Blink and float behind people and hit them? Oh right, she doesn’t have the option. She can’t use her power right, she’s the worse Killer in the game. Billy doesn’t suffer that little draw back either. 

    Its obvious im talking to someone who’s hardly payed Nurse. It’s obvious I’m talking to someone who thinks the Blinks just do everything for the Nurse, you’re just along for the ride. 

    As I stated, she is borderline OP. However she is not OP. The only nerfs I’ll accept would be reduced hearing and reduced capacity to see Blood trails. This would make her more susceptible to Stealth and hamper her tracking ability, but her Chase game remains as is. This would shake her meta up as Stridor and possibly Bloodhound would be used much more instead of the meta perks the terrestrial Killers use to help in chases, as they suffer less in tracking.

    Yes, most other killers are weak, but Nurse is also too strong in a sense. Getting the argument "Only 1 killer is right out of all of the killer pool" is just wrong, that's not how it works and it's pretty obvious bias there. The game itself should be changed so that "one killer" would be around the same power than others. So in a sense, she's definitely not right.

    @popoles I just say she doesn't take quite as much efforts as people make it look like. Also, skill doesn't excuse being "borderline OP" as stated above. A killer being hard to play doesn't mean he should be stronger. All killers should be around the same power, even if some are harder to play than others. Being harder to play should just give you more variety of plays and such. With Nurse it's actually the opposite : the gameplans are usually rather similar from one game to another.

    I guess I was right at my previous assertion that your just pissed off and jealous Billy isn’t as good as Nurse. I literally explained that Nurse’s base higher skill floor give’s her the right to be powerful. Just as Billy’s higher base skill floor using his chainsaw gives him the right to be powerful. However, Billy’s insta-down means he must suffer a loss of control, Nurses’s lack of insta-down means she benefits from greater control than Billy. 

    You dont master the most difficult character to play for nothing. Just as you don’t master Billy so you can be Freddy tier Killer. You’re obviously bias toward Billy, you think you’re “better than” Nurse players, because you think Billy requires more skill to play than Nurse. 

    If they nerf the Nurse, then they better nerf Billy too, so his chainsaw doesn’t insta-down. 

    As for your your response to @popoles, even M.Cote said “Not all Killers are supposed to be equally viable at all Ranks.” Doing that would make the game very dull, very quickly, as then choosing a Killer would be a mere formality as an aesthetic.

    I think he believes that Nurse second blink is a crutch that allows too much control. Which is highly false. 8/10 times the first Blink you do is simply to catch up to a Survivor who’s been running. The second Blink is the strike blink. If he truthfully feels that most Nurses hit a strike on thier first blink, or are even within striking distance, then he’s wholly mistaken. 

    He actually sounds envious that Billy isn’t Nurse level. Either that, or he’s very ignorant on how much prediction is required on Blinks. He forgets, even a hit with Nurse isn’t as good as Billy, Billy gets insta-down, even if Nurse blinks correctly and gets the hit, it’s just a normal hit. 

    Compare them side side by side. Billy, if he predicts correct gets an instant down, Nurse just gets a hit. Trade off? Nurse has a second Blink to correct an error if there is one, *if she even can provided she has Blinks remaining*, however, it’s still just a hit. It’s not an instant down. She gets more control, but just a hit. Billy has less control, but can insta-down.

  • I play Nurse on PS4, had a Rank 12 one day say I was a “Lag Switcher”, because I kept teleporting all over. Nurse is so rare on PS4, the dude didn’t even know her power literally is teleporting. He messaged me about an hour later saying sorry, he’d never seen a Nurse before LMAO

    That’s the whole damn point. The Killer is SUPPOSED to have control over the Chase. If you’re Skilled at Survivor, you may last longer than usual, but not THAT much longer. Why do you think the games balance is in such a piss poor state? Simply because Survivors have the potential to have far too much control in chases. Survivors are supposed to hide, if found, lose the Killer in about 15-20 seconds. They aren’t supposed to be able to put up much of a fight. That’s why there are four of them, that’s why you have THREE chances on the hook.

    That’s all Nurse does, put the power to control the chase back in the hands of the Killer, via their own skill at Blinking correctly. The chase should be a Killer sided event, you ######### up and got found. The generators being so quick and easy to complete disallows for every single chase to last at least 30 seconds. That’s not balanced.
