Watch RedGamingGears 30 days of nemesis. He shows pretty well on how to effectively play him.
Don't expect miracles though
-
Yes. loading in that map means I just assume i'm going to get lost and i just start doing shenanigans
Atleast it's kinda fun as a stealth killer.
If you know the way around that maze
-
Some people play to have fun. I love playing Legion.
Worth every penny
-
Knowing where you can and can't use your power effectively is key. Some high wall loops are best just abandoned.
Biggest tip that helped me is to not hold down the knife throwing button all the time. Your shots become a lot more accurate if you tap the button at the cost of just a little bit of speed.
Survivors catched ofguard are easy injures so Infectious Fright is surprisingly effective on him imo.
Other then that know Trickster is more of a defender rather then a aggressor getting a hook in the middle of some gens allows you to pressure multiple things and that's especially important on trickster.
If you play on console there is nothing to do but accept he just wasn't build for console
If you get RPD or Lerry's you go to your favorite corner and cry.

You'll have to take my lockers out of my cold, dead hands
That can be arranged
Equips mori
-
Yeah it's pretty bad. The fact that you are slower then survivors while in it means that the survivor needs to be in a real bad spot for it to work.
I wouldn't recommend jumping in a locker to counter it though. I don't know about other trickster players but i like to run Iron Maiden as a QoL perk and it doesn't end well for people who use lockers to avoid Main Event

Well people for years have tried to discuss in a constructive matter, only to be ignored and constantly pushed to the side. I'm sure they've just broke and lost all care or respect for bhvr which is more than understandable.
No people didn't.
Unless this was from before Bubba but people have been extremly unconstructive with their feedback for years.
I have never seen differently anyway
-
They don't stack but i guess you can crab walk to a gen and still see slightly more with shadowborn then without it.
You can still reveal ghostface over walls yeah. But it's only to make their game look better so it's fine
-
Thrill of the hunt was also buffed.
28 seconds to bless a dull totem is no joke. 56 seconds to bless a hex is straight up game throwing.
People didn't bother to try cause of the notification removal but it counters boons just fine.

Ds has counter. Hit again. Old MoM has counters.. hit again. Boon totems have counter too, hit agains. Every surv perk has the same counter
What does that have to do with tinkerer? Keep on topic pls
-
I don't think so but it falls in the pretty big list perks that have counters but people just don't bother.
When the third piston of a gen starts moving you should always expect tinkerer except proven that the killer doesn't have it.
And once you know they have it start doubling up on gens. it takes 14 seconds to finish the last 30% with 2 people and when the killer arrives they can only commit to one of you. The other one can easilly finish the gen
If you are in swf comms it's even easier as you can still split up and just time it so multiple tinkerer triggers happen. No matter their mobility killers can only pressure one place (with the exception of nemesis but he doesn't have mobility)
-
Wish i could relate.
All i see is people playing with totems that get snuffed shortly afterwards and nobody but me sitting on gens.
That said they are very solo friendly for a team perk. The white aura of the boon was all it took to close that bridge between swf and solo

I think people are getting thrown for a loop because most distances are expressed in point-to-point terms, or are being talked about because of the distance from two points--terror radius might be a radius, but it's still mostly relevant in "how far am I from the Killer"; fully 3/4 of the radius is the Killer not looking or moving away (and mostly relevant for perk interactions). With Boon totems, this isn't the case and the entire radius and area is significant, so the usual point-to-point logic isn't applicable.
Not sure how cause a ton if stuff works that way in the game
WoO also has 32m radius. Wether you look in front of you or behind you doesn't matter. Same for Bond
BBQ doesn't show aura's within a 40m radius. Doesn't matter in which direction.
-
Demogorgon will still be monitored. Doesn't guaranty buffs or nerf will happen but they can
-
I believe the technical term is
"Shamefur dispray"
-
DbD is a secret program to dissuade people from becoming serial killers. People with those tendancies will try this game to feed their urges and then get so discouraged they'll abandon the idea.
That's my theory on to why killers can't have fun
-
Any of the fall from a great height cause the game is really picky what a great height actually is

Your reading comprehension is
SIGNIFICANT
I think you are very optimistic if you believe they will change the animations themself.
Cool idea, would want this. But i don't see them making the effort
-
Could be cool but too bad both gens and the gate have a visual indicator of their progress (the pistons and the red lights)
So it won't have that much effect
-
It's a sad day for sure

That would make sense because how often do you down 2 survivors in one main event?
Well i can think of one way but i'm not giving people ideas. 2 main events is the best way to do this i feel.
Does make me wonder why there isn't a addon that decreases the amount of knives it takes to get main event.
-
Not 100% sure but it doesn't say it has to be the same main event. You could probably get this by getting 2 main events in a game
-
If you know tuesdays are a risky day you could also just not play untill it happened. It's not that inconsistant.
Or just take the single minute of dc you'll have. If you don't DC often the penalty doesn't get high. It should be done by the time steam is done. assuming you don't often dc ofcourse
-
The drop from first floor. So much fun to trap that drop. The rubble in general were good trapping spots
The color change in certain area's
The rat infested hooks
The secret room
I liked the map, it was fun
-
On their own i feel they are fine but i think there should be a healing speed cap cause when combined it can get a bit out of control.
There really isn't a good reason why it ever should be higher then 100% bonus

I think he does build suggestions, too? Posts a lot of games to YT.
Yeah quickly becoming my favorite dbd content creator
-
I'm going to miss the map. I know a lot of people didn't like it but i enjoyed playing trapper on that map.
Nothing like survivors dropping from the hole in the first floor right into a trap
-
RedsGamingGears
Super chill dude and very talented
Extremly underrated.
-
To be fair, while killer is at a disadvantage most of the time. Flashlight saves are not one of the reasons.
If you play correctly it more then often is a free hit and a person less on generators while they follow you around
-
crippling addiction

Who?

This community is so negatively oriented.
Somebody made a positive version of this post and mere moments later a negative one pops up. I think people think enough about the things they don't like in this game.
Not calling names, just an observation.
guess Huntress. Just because i'm like a magnet for hatchets
-
Honestly a see aura's of your teammates inside of the boon totems area and 100% increase in bp would be nice
-
I wonder if TTS triggers if you hit someone directly with a clown bottle
-
Ok for as much as i like Trickster.
You can't really deny that ink blades and claws that replace her severed hands isn't a little scary
-
For killer probably unnerving presence.
It's ok early on but against better survivors you are actively helping them with the added chance of skillchecks
Monstrous shrine might not do anything but atleast it doesn't work against you

At this point, I'm pretty sure they've given up on Legion. There's been plenty of forum posts asking for buffs/rework with no response. Personally I've given up hope.
As for Ghostface, they just did an add-on pass which changed.. basically nothing. So they probably think he's fine, which means no changes anytime soon.
Sorry to be a debbie-downer, but it is what it is.
They mentioned in the last Q&A that Legion is getting changes.
I don't expect it to be a lot but they are getting changes
-
Movement speed matters a lot in this game don't make small numbers fool you.
Just look how much 5% matters when comparing 110 killers and 115 killers
-
Midchapters is when most big changes happen
-
Thrill is huge slowdown if survivors want to run boons
Thrill with a full hex build pretty much means no boons unless survivors get really lucky or spend close to a minute blessing your hex
The best anti boon perk is Small game and actually playing survivor once in a while. You don't need to look for them if you have a general idea where they are.

This is all he would need.
0:00-0:10 (He’s getting close)
0:20-0:39 (Very Close)
1:37-1:56 (Chase Theme Looped)
I would play as him right away!
God i forgot how good the soundtrack was for those games.
Thanks for the blast from the past

If you feel that way then perhaps it's best to understand that putting yourself out there for potentially millions of people to see is dangerous. Especially, if you are including your political beliefs in your streaming or you are transgender/gay or whatnot. There are some people out there that will hate you for what you are or what you believe and will do whatever they can to make you pay. If you're going to put yourself out there for everyone to see then I would be prepared for something like swatting to possibly happen.
You probably quoted the wrong person

beyond box solve, what actions can it interrupt? You can still drop palettes, rescue, and vault (although only at slow speed) with chains. Can you repair or heal with chains? I've forgotten.
And I've done the math, and past a couple meters it takes longer to cast chains than it does to break out of them, so even if you can interrupt someone repairing or healing with chains, you've actually netted them MORE time to repair or heal than if you had just walked toward them without using chains.
Mostly the box yeah. didn't say it was good, just that that was what was intended

1x survivors is on hook, 1x is going for unhook, 2x are on gens.
Killer is searching for boon totem, then you have 0 killers chasing and protecting gens.
You see how it matters? Killer can't do both. Whenever he decided to deal with boon, he lost chase, or he is leaving gens. Survivors should always have 1 on gen, if they don't, they ######### up.
Yes and in that moment the killers time is twice as valuable as survivors. Not a constant 4 times as people here so often say.
Also I don't go looking for boons. I deal with them if i hear them. At the very worst i might go to a totem spot i know if i notice survivors scratchmarks dissapearing but that's about it. But most of the time i don't go out of my way to find them.
I especially wouldn't go looking for boons with only a single survivor on hook and 2-3 potential survivors on gens. When a survivor is on hook is the prime time to pressure. Then you don't go totem hunting.
Aimlessly wandering looking for boons with how much of a time pressure killers have does seem like a good way to lose.
-
Pretty sure they can't change that
All area of effects apply multiple floors. If boons only worked on single floors then terror radius and doctors shock would also only work on one floor unless they made a completly new code for boons.
There are easier ways to fix boons. If they even need to be fixed at all.
-
First real important
You do know you can't be blinded if you look up or down right?
If survivors are trying to flashlight save and you look up the moment you regain control they have that fraction of a second to blind you.
Outside of saves a killer can just look down and be completly immune to flashlights.
So unless you want to bring back the flashlights that blind you in 0.5 seconds (trust me you don't want that) i think flashlights are good where they are

Yes but how many times will you be able to have a slug and hook on survivors that constantly spread out? Almost never
If that seems impossible for you then that explains your point of view
Regardless of how possible you find it to accomplish pushing them off. The survivors time is only valuable if they are on gens.
If no survivors are on gens then you can do whatever you want as killer. You will never lose. So you can't say that at that point their time is 4x as valluable. Can you?
The less survivors on gens the less valuable their time becomes as gens are their only escape route. It's not rocket science.
