The survivors time is ALWAYS 4x less valuable. Or let me put it into killer words, killers time is 4x as valuable as you dont know what the survivors doing. You spend a minute on a chase and 3 gens across the map are likely 80% ready to pop as you walk over to them.
Cause survivors time is 3 times as valluable at that time.
If you have one hooked one slugged and one in chase the chances of 3 gens popping drastically decreases

yes but 16 seconds of a single survivors time. literally survivors time is 4x less valuable than killers purely for the fact that they have numbers.
That logic is flawed.
The only valuable time survivors have is on gens. Any time not on gens is the game not progressing and them not escaping.
If you chase 1 person the time of survivors is suddenly only 3 times as valluable. A survivor hooked while doing that makes the time equal equal as 1 needs to save one is chased and one is hooked
If the survivors time is ever 4 times less valluable then the killers outside of the first 10 seconds of the match the killer is doing something terribly wrong

The nerf people are excepting.
110 movement speed
Crows can't go through object
Crows have shorter damage range
She has to wear shoes now
The nerf we'll probably get
Crows take slightly longer to set up
Which will still piss us off cause it doesn't actually solve the issue people have with her and it just makes her more clunky
-
Honestly i would want to see this just to hear a mix between the dbd soundtrack and the obscure soundtrack
-
Turns out they were shadow nerfed or there is a bug as blessing a hex now takes 28 seconds instead of the 24 the wiki says
-
I think that was the intention all along and that long range shots are only for interrupting actions.

I can't imagine such a healthy parent-kid relation that you can talk about video games together

my answer is "insidious legion". I've gotten some insidious legion plays, and it's always fun.
Insidious Legion is hilarious cause they are small and people are usually injured so catching them off guard at a gen they normally would hold w from is a big deal.
Not efficient ofcource, but fun

While i do not share your thoughts on nemesis i do like a poem once in a while.

Considering how bad is the perk now it shouldn't stay as a Hex and becoming a normal perk, the good thing of the perk was the sound notificacion. Also, I don't know why they nerfed that perk, it wasn't an overused meta perk at all.
It would be worse in most cases as a non-hex
Thrill and one hex together
With thrill as a hex it'a 50% chance it takes 28 seconds if they cleanse ruin first and leave thrill be or 50% chance it takes 42 seconds to get rid of ruin if thrill was first
As a non hex it's always the worst case scenario of 28 seconds
Thrill with 2 other hex perks
As a hex if thrill is cleansed first it takes 56 seconds
If thrill is cleansed second it takes 28+23.33+14= 65.33 seconds
If thrill is cleansed last and ignored it's 28+23.33=51.33 seconds
With thrill as a non hex it's 51.33 seconds all the time so again worst case scenario
With 3 other hexes
Thrill first: 28+ 3×14= 70 seconds
Thrill second: 28+23.33 + 2×14= 79.33 seconds total
Thrill third: 28+23.33+20+14= 85.33
Thrill last and ignored: 28+23.33+20= 71.33
Thrill ass non hex: 71.33. 1.33 seconds from the worst result
Your suggested buff is a nerf
You know for a community that keeps bashing the devs for not knowing their game. They are pretty clueless as well
-
Pretty close to the worst exhaustion perk but it's a good thing as the playstyles it promotes are pretty bad
-
@anarchy753 said:
The issue is that people don't want to run a perk that doesn't have tangible effects.
Ok you hear a boon destroy your hex. You don't go "well gee, I sure am glad they spent 48 seconds on that totem!" You still lost your hex, you still have to deal with a boon, and you had no way to counterpay it because you only know your perk did something after the fact.
It's still counterable by doing dull totems to drastically reduce the slow. It's also counterable by just cleansing a hex instead of booning it. It's also counterable by the fact that IT IS A HEX and may itself be the first hex removed, leading its grand total time wasted to be 14 seconds all match.
If survivors spend 24 seconds to get rid of 1 totem they reduce the slowdown to 23.33 seconds for cleansing/ blessing a dull or 46.66 seconds for blessing a hex
Spending 24 seconds to save 4.66 seconds on cleansing or 9.33 seconds on blessing a hex doesn't like making the total time wasted 14 seconds. Seems like pretty good slowdown to me
-
A lot of killers who heard that kills is all that matters for mmr started to cheese their killers by heavy tunneling and camping.
Strategies that work really well against lower experience survivors but fall appart against strong ones.
So they kept raising their mmr while not actually getting much better themself. End result is that there are a bunch of low experience killers stuck in high mmr now.
Who then proceed to come here and say the game is so impossible for killer. Good killers didn't leave. Good killers still win 70+% of their matches
People just need to realise that mmr isn't a reward system and that higher mmr isn't nececarelly better for them.
Tunneling and camping are good tactics when needed but overly relying on them is shooting yourself in the foot
-
@ShinobuSK said:
Doesnt 50% from 14s mean 7? So the blessing or cleansing with Thrill active its 21s not 28s
And blessing hex totem takes 36s instead of 48?
Its still pretty effective totem slowdown but those numbers of yours sound not believable to be true.
It doesn't add time it makes survivors slower.
14/0.5= 28
24/0.5= 48
And 28/0.5=56
Test it if you don't believe it
-
This might just be me but i don't think the 4 extra meters you get are going to cover standing still for 16 seconds.
You might be able to pull it of with a really good medkit but franklins is going to screw you. Not to mention if the killer had any instant down ability you didn't get to use both of your perks.
And unless you are running 2 exhaustion perks you have nothing to protect you if the killer decides to tunnel you off hook.

How do killers do that turbo attack with Mad Grit? I tried it but I can't do it.
It's bugged right now iirc.
You are still doing the turbo attack but the animation can't keep up. On the survivor their screen you are hacking away.
I think anyway
-
Hexes are (theoretically) for perks that swing the game extremly hard to the killers favour and survivors have to be able to get rid of.
Not being able to use 2 item that are conciddert the weakest and a couple of perks doesn't strike me as a extreme advantage survivors absolutly need to be able to get rid of.
Annoying sure but that's about it

I was just throwing out rough numbers. 30% of 80 is 24 so wouldn't that make it 104?
It doesn't add 30% to the gen time. It makes you do it 30% slower. It's different.
80/0.7= 114ish seconds
-
Where are you people getting these numbers
30% slowdown makes a solo gen 114 seconds
It does not take 2 seconds to rekindle it's like barely half a second it feels
It takes 14 seconds to cleanse a totem

Bodyblock that does nothing 😂
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uf8BExJWWc
Those protect hits were so useless. And imagine those protect hits with a 16 seconds heal time for the whole team, wow so useless...
Dude. There wasen't any bodyblocking while carrying to the hook in that video. which was what we were talking about. That really should have clicked if you bothered to read and understand the OP and then my post
If you're going to use sarcasm make sure you know what the conversation is about. It doesn't make you look good otherwise.
And if you post a half hour video atleast have the courtesy to post a timestamp of your point. It's a good thing Dowsey is entertaining or i would have pretty peeved to watch a half hour long video just to come to the conclusion that you just completly misunderstood what was said.
-
You know what's scarier then a survivor that goes to bodyblock and then spends 16 seconds healing before coming to unhook.
A survivor that sits on a gen for those 16+ seconds and then goes to unhook.
What i wouldn't give for survivors to waste time with pointless bodyblocks that almost never do something instead of slamming out gens.
If there are changes it normally should be next midchapter or the patch after it
I wouldn't get my hopes up for anything other then a slight heal speed reduction or totems being blocked by the entity for a certain time after being snuffed.

@Crowman said:
MMR calculates based on kills and nothing else so a camping killer that gets a 4K is just as good as a killer who 12 hooks. Why would you pick the harder path to victory?
Those people are shooting themself in the foot. They keep getting stronger survivors without actually getting better themself.
They keep cheesing kills untill they face survivors that know how to deal with it. And suddenly they are a low experienced killer that is stuck in high mmr.
And those are the people that come here to the forums to yell out how impossible killer is.
Camping and tunneling are valid strats which sometimes are necesarry. But overly relying on them is going to bite you in the butt sooner or later

There should be a big poster of dwight in the locker

@zarr said:
All the good killer players that try hard to win that I watch still 3-4k 80+% of their matches just like they used to prior to MMR. Now they might have a challenging match 1 time out of 10 rather than 1 out of 100 though.
MMR has a pretty low cap that even average players can and do reach sooner or later, and the matchmaker also seems to throw together survivors of random ratings regularly. If you're good at the game you will still win the majority of your pub killer matches relatively comfortably.
To provide evidence for this rather than just be one of the thousands of voices here merely saying things, I will go through the latest VODs worth of matches from some killers from a few regions:
Russia:
XAHTEP - Demo 3k; Twins 4k; Doctor 3k (hatch); Trickster 1k; Pyramid 3k; Trickster 4k; Trapper 4k; Nemesis 1k; Myers 3k
Mulder - Wraith 4k; Twins 4k; Twins 4k; Twins 4k; Slinger 1k; Wraith 4k; Bubba 3k (hatch); Bubba 3k (hatch); Ghost 1k
iPiC - Freddy 4k; Blight 2k; Blight 4k; Nurse 4k; Huntress 3k (hatch); Trickster 2k; Blight 2k; Blight 2k; Trickster 3k (hatch); Myers 4k; Blight 4k; Blight 3k; Blight 4k
Korea:
sal_gu - Legion 4k; Legion 4k; Trickster 4k; Myers 4k; Nemesis 4k; Hag 4k; Huntress 4k; Pig 4k; Spirit 2k; Slinger 4k; Demo 4k; Nurse 4k; Clown 4k; Billy 4k; Nemesis 4k; Twins 4k; Billy 4k; Pinhead 3k (hatch); Wraith 4k; Spirit 4k; Trapper 4k; Plague 4k;
chumbo1026 - Oni 4k; Oni 4k; Blight 1k; Nurse 4k; Plague 4k; Pinhead 4k; Myers 4k; Nemesis 4k; Billy 4k; Twins 4k; Huntress 4k; Trickster 3k (hatch); Demo 4k; Bubba 4k; Legion 1k; Doctor 4k; Trapper 4k; Pyramid 4k; Pig 4k; Freddy 4k; Slinger 4k; Hag 4k; Ghost 4k; Wraith 4k; Clown 4k; Blight 4k
EU:
Kaiizoru - Trickster 4k; Huntress 4k; Nurse 4k; Blight 4k; Pyramid 4k; Nurse 4k; Nurse 4k; Bubba 4k; Trapper 4k; Nurse 4k; Pig 4k; Twins 3k (hatch)
Lionnek - Trapper 4k; Clown 4k; Nemesis 4k; Ghost 0k; Trickster 4k; Pinhead 3k (hatch); Pig 4k; Freddy 3k (hatch)
And at this point I'm tired skipping through VODs, just like I usually get tired of watching players like this stream because they are only seldomly even challenged. The trend is clear, and these are just very few examples of countless VODs from countless streamers that have shown on a daily basis for years that if you are good at the game, you win most of your killer matches. Like, I'm sorry so many people on these forums find the game to be impossibly hard and apparently can't even regularly kill a single survivor, but there are millions of hours of recorded evidence that good killer players aren't just able to compete, but dominate the vast majority of their matches, and that even when playing the "weakest" killer characters.
Exactly. Most people I watch also 4k the majority of the time.
People who come on these forums to vent have a hard time grasping that maybe they just aren't as good at the game as they think they are. It's okay to be casual and get avarage results.
The game is survivor sided, you have to be pretty oblivious to not see that. You have to be equally oblivious to think killer is so disadvantaged it becomes impossible.
And for the people who are going to say not everyone plays this game for a living or has 1000 of hours
Why are you expecting expert results from casual players?
-
Normally he should be getting changes upcoming midchapter so maybe he'll raise again.

What exactly is the crucial difference between a server rejected m1 hit and a server rejected m2 hit?
A server rejected m1 hit is how dead hard worked before servers as intended.
A server rejected m2 hit stops dashes and projectiles which it didn't use to.
You could hit someone through a deadharding survivor with huntress for example. Not anymore.
I'm all for fixing the perk. But making one of the already strongest perks even stronger is iffy
-
No worries.
Tomorrow there will probably maybe perhaps be a ptb and everyone will forget about boons and complain about the new killer and survivor perks who are going to be the new op perk of the month.
-
This is a terrible idea on so many levels.
Destroys creative builds. I love playing the houdini build q&q, lithe, dance with me and deception. Superfun. Wouldn't be possible anymore cause those are all perks from different survivors
Wouldn't even solve the issue you're trying to solve. Bill has 2 meta perks. So pick him and the meta is still there.
Increases the grind even more. Only for people who want to play around with different builds though. Those who only play meta can just use the survivor who has the most meta perks. All the rest needs to level up every single survivor if they want to get creative with their builds.
Sorry but just a horrible idea on so many levels. There are only a handfull of truelly op survivor perks left. Just adjust those and let those who want to have fun with different builds have fun
-
I agree that there should be a small delay before regression is gone.
Simular to how you don't progress for a couple of seconds after missing a skillcheck.
12 seconds is stupid though. The whole "every killer second is worth 4 survivor seconds" is flawed beyond believe.
If that's ever the case beyond the first 10-20 seconds of the match you are doing something terribly wrong.
-
I love trickster. Chucking knives is just fun.
I can 100% see why people wouldn't like him though
-
PWYF only losing tokens on damage would be amazing
-
It just needs a condition. Like Lithe needs windows this needs something you have to plan for.
Being injured is not something you have to plan for. The killer will do that for you eventually.
Even making it useable only once per injured state would make all the difference

Just deal with it or dont play the game
If people had that attitude in the past when there were infinites and permasabo then you wouldn't have a game to play anymore.
Problematic features in the game should be dealt with.
Wether dead hars is or isn't problematic is debatable but as a debate that does mean that those who think it is should be able to voice their concerns.
And not just "deal with it"
-
Mmr is not a progression system nor is it in any way a full indicator on how good you are.
All it does is try to bring an equilibrium to the number of deaths and escapes in a match.
Nothing more, nothing less
Grades are the extra rewards you get for winning.
-
I'm pretty sure it's there so you can save it for later.
-
So the killer was just suppose to sit there and watch you do a gen for 80 seconds so you could get enough bloodpoints for 2-4 nodes?
I would have just killed you and moved on to. Maybe look for the hatch to give you if it isn't to hidden.
In that scenario you don't blame the killer for killing you but your teammates for leaving you.
-
Survivors aren't expected to abhere by a ruleset cause killers aren't either. That's something you decided to do cause a salty player complained to you.
If a killer player would complain to you about genrushing would you put a 5 minute timer each match before you start working on gens? Probably not.
Then why change how you play with killer when you run into a salty survivor player.
There are salty players on both sides.

Playing for the win or at least to have a good fight is natural. No one is willing to play just to participate and get stomped.
If you know you have no chance, why would you even try ?
That's how the nature works.
Visa versa also.
If you know 4 man escapes were impossible, why would you even try?
If you're okay with 4K's you should be okay with 4 escapes
-
Everybody can have a bad game once in a while. Especially in a swingy game like dbd where a single mistake can completly flip a match out of control.
Profesional fighting gamers also get flawlessed from time to time. Profesional shooter gamers also end with a negative K/D ratio sometimes.
It happens. Take it as a learning experience and move on.

Hex perks can be overriden by boons but slower then normal. Takes 24 seconds instead of 14
An all hex build with Thrill means to bless a totem they need to spend 48 seconds on it, uninterrupted.
That or get lucky and cleanse your thrill. which still takes 28 seconds to do.
So yes full hex is an reasonally effective anti-boon build just not in the way you thought it was
-
It should really be in the tutorials
-
Mangled reduces healing speed by 20% which means normal heals take 20 seconds instead of 16.
Selfcare heals take 40 seconds instead of 32
And i assume the self heal of CoH takes 20 seconds instead of 16 unless the numbers interract in some weird way
