To be able to hide for over an hour is really interesting. That person must be the king of stealth.
But in all seriousness I think it's reportable
It's sadly really not that hard
Our eyes are made to easilly detect movement so if you don't move and have a outfit that somewhat blends in you're already very hard to find
Hop into a locker while the killer is not near every couple of minutes to avoid afk crows and done

My grandmother says i'm special
Check and mate

The hardest part of getting flashlight saves was getting into position, not the timing of it. It barely matters especially with how you can't readjust as easilly
You getting blinded while staring at a wall is a fov issue not a timing one, if you are going to complain about something complain about the right thing
-
That's some real nice and ... interresting art you have there.
I do always enjoy your drawings
In case the question was serious I start looking to make sure i get my pips and then play for hatch/gate and hope i get better teammates next game.
Not saying tunneling isn't a problem but if a player can't stop dying in the time for atleast 2 gens to be done when he has all the resources available to them, be it cause they can't last in chase or the team doesn't capitalize on the time they buy, then it's not a tunneling issue but serious misplays on the survivor side.
-
I always let people get their glyphes if i spot it but i wouldn't hold it against someone who doesn't
It is a courtesy and what i know of humans it's better to be happilly surprised of courtesies rather then to expect them

For survivor
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=En7Pc39f8X4
Funny second time i dropped this link from a video i litteraly just watched today
For killer you kinda have to play with your food a bit if you can, turn the game into a 3v1 asap without overly focussing on a single survivor and then spread things around between the final 3. The link to the wiki in a comment above will help a lot in knowing what you need
-
As a small token of comfort, the new fogwise perk has a chance to help against it
I have been able to stop working on a gen on time by getting lucky and seeing the killer swing
Other then that i guess gen tapping like with old ruinhas like a 50/50 chance you avoid it.
It's not much but it's the best i could find out
-
Killrates do something but a lot of people are focused on what's strong or what's weak
Saddako having a higher kill rate does show she's better then people give her credit for overall
Saddako being higher then nurse does not mean she is stronger, just more accesible then nurse

Your video sumurise quite well, the problem is that you can loose pips on unlucky games. Depending of the killer, you won't be able to do 250 % gen's worth of progress easily. Best scenario is if the killer start chasing your teamates first, but it's a matter of luck. If your teamates are killing themselves on hooks, DCing, if the killer camps or tunnel's you, their is little you can do to prevent that.

I still do 25K BP pretty often, and while it was enough to pip consistently until iri grade, it's seems no longer true. I had almost no trouble reaching gold 1, but now, even when sweating, most of the time I get black pip. I got like 4 pips during the games I played, but lost then during less lucky games.
Yeah luck is a very big part of it sadly
That's an advantage killers have, most of the things are inside of their control
Also to clarify it's not my video
-
https://youtu.be/En7Pc39f8X4
this helps alot
other then that it's mostly a issue of time and luck
Getting to iri 1 for me is hard cause i just don't play enough each month, especially seeing how i play both sides.
I would have to ditch killer for a month if i want a chance
-
I don't think it will ever leave, even if other exhaustion perks become better
The thing is it's also the most fun and interractable exhaustion perk for survivors
-
No matter how unbalanced the game gets that discription is correct
Survivors are always suppose to try and escape
Cute though, a lot more original then other post complaining about balance
-
To my understanding if a deathslinger could shoot you the guard will detect you in the radius

Pinhead: Gateway location is shown when holding his ability.
Dredge: Teleportation highlight teleported lockers in green aura.
Trickster: Reveals the knife trajectory when holding his knifes
Twins: Reveals trajectory of victor pounce when fully charged.
Sadako: Reveals the aura when emerging out of a television.
Nemesis: Reveals the trajectory when holding tentacle strike.
these dev's. big ouch.
To be fair
If trickster himself could also see the trajectory of his knives i would probably take that trade

Everybody seems to love to give Deep Rock Galactic the Labor of Love award.
I wonder why that is...
Cause it's way easier to please a pve crowd then a pvp crowd.
The game isn't going to complain when you nerf it's best stuff
Not going to say that BHVR doesn't miss the ball sometimes but i do feel that a lot of people are very focussed on the negative and turning a blind eye to the positive
Also not saying Deep Rock doesn't deserve it, just that people are a bit too harsh towards bhvr
Disliking a couple of chapters for instance is not really a reason to say they don't love their game

Essentially, it's not facecamping per se that makes him strong.
His Guards are REALLY good at camping around the hook and forcing early hits. Likewise, the Orb is apparently the Knight, so MYC, Devour Hope and Monstrous Shrine all work depending on where the Orb is...meaning you can cheese it and camp while still being right next to the hook.
But mostly its the guards ability to patrol around the hook and force early hits.
Aa okay, being able to benefit from "away from hook" perks while being right next to it does seem like quite the oversight
I've just been really lucky so far to not have faced anyone who uses the knight like that
-
So i haven't been able to play much and when i played it was mostly killer
I did not face a facecamping knight
Can somebody explain me just how he is good at facecamping? Cause i don't really see it.
His guard dissapear when you touch a hooked survivor. Seems to me that all you need to do is touch the hooked survivor and then he's just a m1 killer camping that you can easilly trade hooks with.
What am i missing that makes him that much more effective at camping?
-
Eh they'll still get my vote
It's easy to nitpick about the bad things but they done a lot of good things this year too
Added bots which was something a lot of people asked
Worked on accessibility with the flashlight change
Added team adjusted to mmr
Did a lot of anti cheat stuff including force match endings to ensure people can't be taken hostage for too long
Reduced the grind by a ton
All of these are things the community asked for.
That's the biggest problem with this community, so compelled to focus on the negative that they become blind to any good changes
Games like deep space rock are like parents of children who get straight A's, play the piano cause they enjoy it and help around the house on their own volition
While DbD is parent of spoiled brats who never get along, get jealous whenever the other kid gets something, when they get a gift complain about the gift wrapping it was in and who's main form of communication is screeching at the top of their lungs
It's obvious who gets the parent of the year award and it's also obvious who has it the hardest and actually deserves it.
BHVR will never get lavour of love, not because they don't deserve it. But because this community doesn't know what love is

Buying the knight was the worst mistake of your life? Congratulations on your extremely blessed life.
Way to laugh at others misfortune
Who knows how long it will take to financially recover from the 5-7 bucks they spend on this? If ever!
-
I have not played against a camping knight yet so i do have to ask
How is he better at camping then other m1 killers? Doesn't his power dissapear the second you touch a hooked survivor?
-
Instead of going where they originally saw the survivor the guards should go to the actual location of the survivor.
Makes it easier to balance cause the distance the survivor is able to make will always be the same, unlike now where the survivor can run through the ghost and make massive distance while the ghost is going away from the survivor for a bit
-
Just had this bug too
On the game map with add-ons tatered tabard and dried horsemeat
Did not get stunned, it just suddenly happened after summoning the jailer
-
Hit a survivir 10 seconds after getting unhooked 8 times
No special perks or luck needed
-
I mean, agree that the rpd one is a hard slog of a achievements
But comparing it to "escape once with 3 specific perks" and "do the center gen and escape on a map with an avarage of 25+ pallets" isn't really fair
-
These kind of posts always make me laugh
If the game sucked then you wouldn't have put 10k (!!!) hours in.
The game doesn't suck, you are burned out. Learn the difference
-
Concept is cool and instadowning survivors with one two taps is fun
Can't really say how strong he will be

Survivor community is ten times bigger than killer, is like trying to convince 4 survivors that your perk is busted in comparison to 4 survivors crying over your killer. You ain't convincing the majority while being in the minority, it doesn't work.
Now, we have "good" and "bad" takes in DbD, even if you legitimately believe... it could be seen as "bad" take, bad takes will ruin your "reputation". The online world, do not even call "opinion"; after all is the hard truth we're all facing, just adapt honestly and try to be friendly, build up people around you.
I find what you say a little strange. I rarely look at names and certainly don't remember them.
If i remember a name it will usually be from positive interactions rather then a "stay away reputation"

I don't think you realise the storm that is about to hit you

The hex perk is probably pretty good on doctor with a thrill build i'd imagine
Between doctors static and the hexes screams good luck doing any other hex totem while the effect is up
-
I think the gen store perk is better then it looks on paper
If you work on a gen in the corner of the map where the killer won't come anyone you are bassically working on the next gen slower but 100% safe
Could be wrong but i think it's going to be a sleeper perk
-
Strong perks, yes. issues? no i don't think so.
Dead Hard rework was one of the better ones as it took away the problematic side of the perk but still left the end result something worth playing. It's not the press e to win perk anymore. It takes some kind of thought.
Common complaints is that when a survivor does it at a pallet it's a lose lose for the killer. First of all, not entirelly true as there is a small window between the dead hard and the getting stunned that you can hit them. But even disregarding that. A sprint burst ready in a deadzone also is a "lose lose" for the killer, a survivor with lithe right next to a vault too. Almost all other exhaustion perks have situations where the survivor will get it off 100% so why is that so much worse for dead hard?
It being tied to the endurance system also means they have to disregard other strong perks for it and some killers can completely circumvent it with their power. All killers can disable it by hitting the survivor of hook.
I feel people are just looking at it still being used a lot and draw their conclusions there but i think dead hard is used a lot not because it's the strongest exhaustion perk but cause it's the funnest. It has interaction with the killer instead of the enviroment and there are not a lot of other exhaustion perks like that.
As for CoH I also don't think it's not really a issue anymore.
You have to spend a lot of time to make CoH work. 14 seconds for blessing a totem+ 24 seconds for a heal is not a good number for your first heal. Ofcourse the longer the totem stays up the better but with todays meta of CoB and Overcharge your gen you were working on is going to have lost all progress by the time you ran to your safe haven, healed and ran back. Even without those perks you lose quite a decent amount of progress. It can still be strong when the killer doesn't commit but it's not nearly as effective as it used to be.
A lot of time people lose and blame CoH i feel like they would have lost regardless of CoH and they probably would have lost faster.
Do i lose matches because of these perks sometimes. Well yeah. I lost some kills to slippery meat too once. They are still strong if used right. But they are nowhere near as unfair as before.
-
Me giggling as a child everytime somebody walked into my completely random placed beartraps
-
I don't even think Coh is really a problem anymore
Especially in the way you discribed
I would be overjoyed the survivors spend 42 seconds gen time setup and then 24 second gentime for each heal as a killer who's power is a oneshot
You would have probably lost that match without CoH too, only faster
-
I won't make a single difference for me
When the survivors i face actually get in position for tbe flashlight save they get it.
I can't remember last time someone got in position and mistimed it
-
When you suspect there is something off about a survivor perfectly timing deadhard a bit too well try swinging at a pallet when they are on the other side. Preferably while recording.
If they deadhard then it's 99.99% sure they are hacking
-
Ow there is a achievement that requires you to grab a survivor after a blink.
I wonder if that's a reason why they haven't changed nurse to special attacks yet
-
Could be that overal there arem't enough killers to fill lobbies but that there are a large number of lobbies with 3 survivors in waiting for the final one.
Making solo survivor queues fast but swf queues slow
Maybe just guessing

"Anyone who seriously thinks the devs don't know what they're doing is delusional". Nice try there dev. We know it's really you. Fix your game, it's dying.
God i wish i was a dev
-
They care about the game.
They want to make the best possible game they envissioned. They, not you.
For that they will and have listened to all feedback. Again all feedback, not just yours.
If they don't act on feedback it's either cause it doesn't fit with their vission which is fair, it's their game.
Or in the mayority of the time it says more about the feedback rather then the devs
And you saying that nerfing iri hatches and reworking old legion were part of killer problems says more then enough
Dbd has been going strong for 6 years now. Maybe not always at it's peak but it has never done bad. Other games in the genre don't even come close to this.
Anyone who seriously thinks the devs don't know what they are doing is delusional and the perfect example of the phrase "the best shippers are at the shore"
-
The latest version of dbd always seems the best to me with a few notable exceptions
Imo they've only improved the game
-
Sounds like you are a low mmr solo player. Important to realise that the game is not the same as normal.
Low mmr solo survivor is NOT a teambased game. Depending on low mmr co-survivors means they will drag you down.
You will need to learn the important skill of know where the turning point of a game is where the killer has to much momentum and the gens won't get done. At that point play to survive and get hatch/gate
Learn how far you can open the gate before the red light turn on so you have the best chance to escape on your own
Another important thing is that the solo low mmr meta is different from top play meta. Running all the chase perks doesn't matter if your team doesn't capitelise on the time you buy.
Don't get perks that extend chases, get perks that make you lose the killer when you have too. Solo survivor is a godsent for increasing the odds you can increase your mmr even with potato co-survivors.
Adrenaline is one of the best cause it works when your team is good and when they are not as it activates on hatch getting closed too
If you are really better then your teammates you can escape with this playstyle and it doesn't take (overly) long before you can play sorta normal again.
Or play with swf
-
I don't understand what there is to talk about?
Other then congratulations that the concept you came up with was good enough to end up in the game. Wether it was inspired by it or not
-
Here is a suggestion
Make a offering that gives the other side bonus bloodpoints. Time for people to realise that we are all DbD players
-
I think it would be worth to test in a ptb hoe increasing hook times would work.
Even something like 10 seconds per hookstage would make a world of difference
-
Legion is awesome
Superfun to play with, close to the most perk variety in the game and pretty much garuantees lots of bloodpoints for everybody as long as you don't kill someone instantly
Love the Legion
-
I think even without the nerf or bad range it wouldn't be used often.
Camping is something that suffers badly from conformation bias in that it really doesn't happen as often as people think it does.
Making the perk situational by design. Not to mention that it only helps if others are being camped
