I support this change.

She always had an identity crisis affecting every single part of her.
The solution of just stripping it all and making her a joke was not it.
-
Technically true.
Bad map design is the big problem, and map offerings are a way to increase the already existing issue.
The problem? Map balance is, always was, and always will be a very hard thing for BHVR to achieve.
Haddonfield is the prime example. Multiple versions, and none of them were good.

Yeah, I don't think it should be, and I don't think it ever was or ever will be the goal. Sometimes it has been too imbalanced, but imbalance is in its DNA.
I mean, true, it's in the name, as in Asymertrical Horror Game.
-
Because it worked for 8 years and counting, I guess.
-
Yeah, it's either:
Everyone is gluead to gens and no one goes for saves, so even getting hooked once can be fatal.
No one does gens and everyone is just full healing and saving.
I've had both.
-
That would be a nice change.

I think they should trial run it, to see if it does affect lobby dodging; and if it does, then just put it in game that way they at least have the option to see others builds in game without “cherry picking” teammates.
That's a good idea.
-
Pennywise was at one point in the works, if I remember correctly, but it never got finished because of licensing issues.
Slenderman though? It could be a really good chapter.

But that's the thing. I don't want to stop tunneling. I just want to stop Killer typically having rock-solid information as to the location of an immediately unhooked survivor due to the base-game nature of a Hooked survivor being in a single location, necessitating the assistance of another survivor, which facilitates a greater ease of tunneling base-kit, and has a side effect of reinforcing camping behavior.
If you want to tunnel, invest in Informational Perks, not just stacking slowdown and leveraging basic positional dynamics inherent with the current Hook system.
But I do realize that all this does need to come with Killer buffs, I just don't really know what that should be since I typically don't sweat all that much in my matches.
If information is the issue, removing the unhook notification is the first step.

I love midwich as both killer and survivor. On killer it doesn’t feel like I’m walking to Timbuktu to check a generator and as survivor it feels like a horror game again.
however I really hate the stranger things and toba landing map. Toba looks like a 3d Jackson pollick painting and the stranger things map has annoying room design and the upstairs sucks to get people to hooks of they have boil over, or someone sabo’s/hook doesn’t spawn on the stairs.Oh yeah, I forgot about Hawkins.
The doors are in the weirdest places, so you have to take long detours, the entire upstairs area and rift are a must-avoid as killer, etc.
Yeah, that one is really bad.
-
The slugging solution has some merit, and it's not abusable like the old basekit UB solution, so really, it could work.
The other one, no. I think that with some improvements to the already existing AFC mechanic (showing it on the HUD, maybe speeding it up a bit) would be enough to work without an outrage from the other side. Some base anti-camping perks could be also introduced (Slippery Meat does very little, and the effect could be easily carried over to Up The Ante if needed).
Tunneling already has some basekit counters AND multiple strong perks that deny it, so…
-
No Mither, Left Behind, either of the Invocations, Low Profile, Sole Survivor etc.
Most of these are long due for buffs/reworks
-
Not joking, this would be great for Skull Merchants eventual rework.
Get some feedback from her mains and haters, see if it would be a good idea, so on and so forth.
-
Blood Lodge. I hate the main building.
-
Unless you are constantly getting value from Eruption or Surge, two perks most affected by this, you have to HEAVILY 3-gen for quite some time to even get the mechanic.
-
This is also an ongoing problem with all queues.
-
I'll one-up you. 1 milion bloodpoints per purchased perk would be better.

Because a healthy person getting trapped and then found is basically an instadown, and is the only redeeming quality to his power, but with Legion they should* be always injured anyway.
Yes, that's one of the things.
Another thing is that Legion is mostly a support killer in 2v8, and so is Trapper. Even if everyone is injured, Trapper still has to M1 down people almost without help. Same story with Legion.
And, a (not so)fun fact, hitting someone in a trap with the Legion's power frees them, so they actively work against Trapper.
-
He is low on the list, but Trapper and Legion take the botrom two spots.
If these two get paired up together, the game is basically lost.
-
If you suggest we should buff weaker killers, you are right.
-
The blue tiles mean its definitely a bug. Those are placeholders for unloaded tiles.

You're probably right. I think Survivors might see Honing stone and the Paint brush maybe a few more. Almost makes my argument irrelevant and maybe Survivors shouldn't see any killer add-ons at the bottom right
Maybe aside from some exceptions (old Paint Brush, Iri Queen).
The Tombstone add-ons have an "eh" tell atm (Tier III taking suspiciously long to kick in), but Judith's Tombstone is fine. Tombstone Piece, less so.

Ok, my idea to make maps a little better:
- Maps no longer have charges, but a max amount of things it can track. Be within 7 meters of an object and facing it to track it on the map, taking up one of your total tracked items permanently
- The map no longer needs to be channeled to see your tracked objects. Yes, this means they can't lose charges from franklins demise, just knocked out of hand and if left long enough, destroyed by the entity
- All map revealed objects are shown in a green aura (unqiue distinction from other aura reveals)
- Crystal Bead add on is now basekit (eleviate solo queue frustration a little/cluttered comms)
With these changes, maps don't become completely useless due to losing charges for its already little effect (no perks that increase/decrease its charges or resets it. Exaltation excluded since it affects all item types with niche charge increases and is hard to proc.)
Mostly good ideas overall.👍
I don't think that there should be a condition for you to face the object, though. It would probably be a bit too clunky.

I don't think bhvr is willing to change deathsligner's terror radius like you proposed because someone could add monitor and abuse which would give them an even smaller terror radius of 16m. bhvr would likely deem this too strong.
I don't think it would be that bad, as you are a pure M1 killer if you don't reload.
To the post topic: I like the change.

These are the Add-ons you can currently see in game.
Acidic Blood-Xenomorph
"Bad Man's" Last Breath-Nurse
Geographical Readout-Skull Merchant
Honing Stone-Trapper
Iridescent Queen-Doctor
Iridescent Unpublished Manuscript-Skull Merchant
Jigsaw's Annotated Plan-Pig
Red Paint Brush-Freddy
Shotgun Speakers-Skull Merchant
Spasmodic Breath-Nurse
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't most of these shown only to the killer?
-
They probably got a wake up call after the disaster that was the RE Chapter, especially RPD.

the post looks like a prison warden :)
If you feel so oppressed and imprisoned in this game, why are you still playing?
No one is forcing you to play.

Hey guys, I just tried to use Invocation: Weaving Spiders for the first time other than when I tried to do the Sable (adept) just for memes and giggles. Bear in mind, when I did my Sable adept I did not use it because I always found it to be a waste of time.
What I found in the 5-6 games that I played was that it was a huge time sunk, I don't like the fact that I have to hold it (I guess for accessibility, it's to help you stop doing but I'd rather it just be a button press and I can just cancel it at any time - but that's just a minor gripe of mine lol).
I only found it to be viable in one game where I went against Huntress on Dead Dawg Saloon and I ended up still dying, but accomplishing a three man out in a duo-que mind you, haha.
From my experience, I find that it is completely opposite of my regular playstyle because I usually do a gen, pop it, hop on a gen, you get it - very efficient player.
However, while playing I recognized a myriad of issues with the perk. Not only am I broken for the remainder of the trial (I actually had the bright idea to do it when I was already hooked once and injured, I run straight to basement and invocate). But it is a huge time sink for little reward I found. If anything, I would change the broken status for the remainder of the trial OR I would decrease the time it takes to invocate (which might be a controversial change, but I find that no one will come to basement and help with the speed) - if anything, you're just sitting in basement for a minute and staring a ground the whole time.
I get what Behavior was doing was to make it seem more cooperative, but I truly felt like a detriment to my team for bringing it. Mind you, I was not running No Mither like regular types I see because I value having my health state, lol.
The build I thought was the best for it that I used was Resilience, Deja Vu, Sprint Burst (to help me because I'm practically one shot all game lol), and of course Invocation: Weaving Spiders. I died every single game, killer perks like Grim Embrace and any gen locking perk obviously can counter it, and I found myself in situations where I had to think is it good to go and invocate against a Blight, which I obviously decided against but still died lol.
It was a fun experiment and I just wanted to share, it's good for breaking up gens later on in the game but it definitely needs something to counteract how much you feel like you're being useless in the trial.
It shouldn't be denied by gen blocking, that's for sure.
The Broken penalty isn't the best fit, Exposed would be better imo.
But, I don't think it should be made faster. 60 seconds is a fair time for a permanent effect. What I'd do is make it so joining the ritual increases the reward, but doesn't speed up the process.
-
Abusing bugs and ping, that's a good reason to avoid the match. But it sometimes happens unintentionally.
Map offerings are getting nerfed so...
Tunneling is also getting nerfed in Phase 2.
I don't get the doom and gloom around these changes, especially now, since we don't even know what will they do.
The Anti-Go-Next change will be an improvement, imo. I hate that people can just throw a hissy fit the second something doesn't go their way AND get away unpunished.
-
Nurse is Nurse. Even with every nerf she has recieved, even though she has only 6 add-ons that aren't useless, even though she can't use any M1 perks, she is still on the top.
Spirit is fine, imo. The Dried Cherry Blossom is a disgusting add-on, yes, but remove that and she is in a fairly good state.
Billy is fine, he already got nerfed and doesn't need more nerfs.
I don't really have a clear picture about Blight, so...

In general, ppl tend to be somewhat selfish with their perk loadouts. They like using perks that help THEMSELVES rather than perks for their teammates.
I am a selfish person when it comes to playing survivor.
So, I would never use this perk, even if Meg got hooked twice within a span of a minute.
-
People are throwing a hissy fit about a change that may not even be as impactful as they might think, and will be added half a year from now at best.
Sounds about right.

Hackers can join basically any lobby they want (bypassing the MMR system entirely) and tend to target content creators to promote and sell those cheats.
It's the reason SpooknJukes has DBD on all platforms AND the Roblox discount version in case of hackers trying to hold him (and his stream by proxy) hostage forever. This has come in handy several times when hackers tried targeting him but he merely switched platform and continued streaming instead of quitting/DCing.
Side-note: the "Anti-go next" mechanic that has been announced in the "QoL update" could be a horrifying weapon for hackers since they are able to instantly kill Survivors on 1st hook (which might fool the game into thinking they went next and get a penalty).
Yeah, the anti-cheat should be improved significantly.
The free weekends on Epic don't help with the situation either.

I love the first two suggestions in particular, but I'd be happy if we at the very least just got the first suggestion. I'm so tired of seeing basic, free character perks in the Shrine.

These are some really interesting ideas!
I like it.

Funny timing.
This exact thing is currently high on the priority list.

Yes yes yes yes I want that.

I want a Chest class and a Boon class.
But, a meme class would be nice too.

I completely stopped playing this killer because they recently heavily nerfed her by changing her chase music.
It was a completely unnecessary nerf, and purposely changing her music to make it way harder to hear survivors, is anti-QoL, and it's completely awful.
Which version is it again?
I lost track of it already tbh.

are you proposing these changes because you think there is a problem that you want to fix, or do you simply think these changes would make the game more fun overall?
Both.
-
She needs a lot of bugfixing and QOL.
And a little something more to her Houndsense.
-
As others mentioned, yellow herbs give survivors their health states back.
This rarely comes into play because killers can take them too.
-
Well... This was certainly a choice.
-
Edit:
Changed up the Milky Glass and Blank Key add-ons to make them a bit more interesting.
-
There is an issue.
You would completely disable the entire playerbase in Africa with this.
They have 0 servers there.
