I really want to try first-person POV as a survivor, like I know there are videos already on YT, unofficial mods and stuff, but you know… Would rather try to play an official one from the developers, if one is going to be added for at least a week. 😋
I have a feeling that this gamemode have a potential to become as desirable and fun as 2v8 and Chaos Shuffle, personally - (saying without sarcasm) I think it's not going to end-up like Lights Out.
POV swap sounds extremely interesting, what do you think guys? Do you wanna try it?
Maybe if it was random between 1st and 3rd person and it would apply one kind on both sides.
So one match everyone is playing 1st person, and second everyone is in 3rd person.
-
Hi, it's me again!
I have another 3 new killer perks, and would like to hear what do you think.
Solitude:
Lock the doors, throw away the key, and trap them in, imprisoned with you.
Spawns a Fuse Box near one of the Exit Gates. Once all generators are completed, the gates will not get powered until a Fuse is added to the Fuse Box.
The Fuse is an item that can be found in chests, with the chances of it being in a chest being 0% on the start of the trial, and are increased by 20/14/8% per each completed Generator, up to 100/70/40%
In a case of all Chests being already opened without the Fuse being found, they all automatically close.I Heard That:
You can hear everything, every sound and whimper.
Every time a survivor triggers a Loud Noise Notification, they also scream.
1/2/3 times per Trial, you can activate the perk for 20 seconds.
Any survivors who starts repairing a generator or healing during this time, screams and reveals their location.
Punishment:
Disobedience is never allowed under your command.
When you injure a survivor with a Quick Attack, the survivor will become affected by Deep Wound.
The succesful attack cooldown after a Quick Attack is 40/30/20% longer.
-
Yes.
If it was made like this, it'd be fine

imagine if this is all just a ploy to get us up and arms about TCoFS not being in the game and just a skin and then he ends up being the next killer lol
That would be a play straight out of chess.

Please BHVR, listen to us!!
To the topic, I agree with you.

A really cool killer idea my friend! Your lore is also well written.
The hearing is a cool, new and unique tracking ability. I always wanted a killer that moves faster at base than 4.6, which I like the most about insanity. The first person PoV woukd be hell of a challenge to play with. I don’t want to be in the survivors situation there 😅.
Solitude sounds fun. I just feel like new players will have no clue what’s going on and why they can‘t open the gate.
For „I heard that“ I don‘t see much use. Being limited to just 3 uses is very little. Sure the effect is strong, but only 3 times.
Punishment: At first I thought deep wounds on every hit→ Op. Then I thought 20% longer recovery → that‘s a massive disadvantage in chase. Then I thought it is probably a good perk for hit and run killers.
Thanks for commenting!
To clarify, this chapter is my adaptation of an already existing license. The lore was not created by me, I just wrote it down from what I could remember from the games.
I could make getting rid of the mask a bit easier, so survivors don't need to run around the map as much to get it off.
Solitude would have to be explained really well in-game, yes.
For Punishment, the perk would only trigger on Quick Attacks, much like the Tombstone add-ons. Not sure if it makes it too sitautional.

I am not that worried because of BHVRs track record. Example: the AFC mechanic.

What bothers me the most: Why has Artist a built-in anti-camp-feature but neither Billy, Huntress, Trickster nor even Bubba have it? It makes no sense why some killers have this feature but killers that need it, don't have it.
In my opinion, the built-in anti-camp-feature should be changed: when a crow faces to the hooked survivor, the Flight Path disapears once it enters the anti-face-camp-range. This would be a fair change to still prevent an unhealthy insta hit after unhook but now she can use her power near hook when another survivor is nearby. Also, the built-in anti-camp-feature should also go away once a survivor is dead and not after the animation of their death. Every time I'm in the situation, it's just annoying and stupid.
Agree.
-
On the killer side - not THE meta, but often played perks regardless.
On the survivor side - nah. Perks like Clean Break will stay in F tier for some time.

it's not situational nor bad at all. Not to mention that you are not only getting value of it if killer eats it up.
You are bringing a perk in preparation for EVENTUAL tunneling.
So all the cases where you actually get the value of perk:
- Killer eats DS up - most obvious one
- Killer doesn't tunnel - you are safe from getting chased any time soon OR you can be annoying for killer and force them to waste more time trying to get rid of you obstructing their other chase
- Killer slugs - other survivor can either reset or you can pick yourself up by combining DS with antislug perks, killer in a lose-lose situation.
This is situation with quite some actual meta perks, people think those are bad simply because people either don't know what getting value of perks is or they simply don't know how to use the perk properly.
The best counterpart perk on killer side for this is Eruption. So many people underestimate it and literally think it's bad while it's in fact one of the best slowdowns and simply the best perk for setting up 3-gens.
There is simply difference between perk that give little to no value no matter what play you or killer make and perks that give great value in specific circumstances you can force very often.
Eruption is not that good.
It can, and will screw you over by getting to the 3-gen limit fast.
Surge is just better in every way, imo.
-
You can use the regular mori tho, can't you?
Which is much more cinematic imho.
-
How about no?
If I play Hag, it's not my fault that people don't know what to do against her and get stomped.
Thanks to your genius plan, killers like Hag or Twins never get to play just because the community can't play against anything but the classic dashslop killer or an M1 trapless Trapper.
Imagine killers could ban perks. No DS, no Shoulder the Burden or Duty of Care.
But that's unfair! You could say.
Maybe the issue is the design?
Really, if you flip the mirror and you get a nightmare, maybe the plan is not good.
-
Hitman World of Assasination.
-
It's good imo.
My slow head can't hit the skill check even with a gun aiming at me, so I don't run it.
For those who do, I guess it's great.
As killer, I usually down people bit not pick them up if they came from a hook, and it usually works and I don't get stabbed.

Facts I haven't been spending my BP because I have just been waiting for this. I am way to lazy to sit there. lol. It feels like it takes ages.
Similar here lol.
I am trying to spend the bare minimum so the BP from a match don't go to waste.
-
What also doesn't help is the lack of fog everywhere.
In the old builds of the game, the fog was thick and actually blocked your vision.
Now? A few puffs of black smoke and that's it.
-
Apparently this is a common issue
(I talked about how scammy it seems to lower the amount so you can't just buy the rift once and be done in one of my posts)
The devs usually fix the amount back to 1000.
Or so I hope.
-
The regression is kinda lacking now, true.
Every gen defence perk beside Pain Res, Surge, Pop, Corrupt and Deadlock kinda sucks or just REALLY sucks.
@SoGo said:
So, gen regression perks are the most picked perks in the game. But only a select few, the rest has really small pick rates. And for a good reason, most of them suck.
In this post, I'll go over those that I feel should get buffs or changes to increase their popularity and, in doing so, also variety.
Call of Brine:
• Increase the regression speed to 200%.
• The regression speed is also capped at 200%.To avoid the second coming of Overbrine, the hard cap should be lowered to 200% regression speed. With that, both perks can be strong without being annoying.
Dying Light (Rework):
You start the trial with 3 tokens.
Whenever you hook a survivor that's not the Obsession, all survivors repair and healing speed decreases by 3/4/5% for each token you have. This debuff will remain while the survivor is hooked and 30 seconds after.
Whenever you hook the Obsession, you lose a token.
Current Dying Light is a failure as a concept. It's a win-more perk. So, why not invert it?
Eruption:
• Only the inital kick is counted as a regression event, the subsequent explosion that happens when you down someone doesn't.Hex: Ruin:
• Increase the regression speed to 100/125/150%.Hex: Pentimento (8.7.0 version)
• Remove the totem auras, or (if they have to be there) make them work in a similar way to Plaything (the aura is revealed after some time)Oppression:
• Decrease the cooldown to 50/40/30 seconds.
• Now, failing an Oppression Skill Check causes the gen to lose extra 4% of progress, just like Overcharge. (Idea by @MechWarrior3 )Overcharge:
• The regression speed now rises from 120% to 160%.
• The regression speed is capped at 200%.Same story as Call of Brine, but unlike it, I feel like that it's secondary effect makes it so it doesn't need to be all the way to 200%.
Pop Goes the Weasel:
• Increase the time it stays active for to 30/45/60 seconds.Yes, I know this isn't an unpopular perk by any means, but this change is only aimed to make it more accesible to lower mobility killers.
Thanatophobia:
• Decreases survivors repair speed by 1,5/2,5/3,5% for each survivor that's not healthy.Thrilling Tremors:
• Remove the cooldown.
• Now, it blocks generators for 16/18/20 seconds.Fun fact! This perk stayed the same since it's release. That's over 5 years...
Undone:
• Good skill checks now give you 1 token.
• Remove the cooldown. -
The problem with it is that survivors always go on three gens at once every time you bring it. And you can't kick them.
Maybe Oppresion could be the solution to this?
-
Well, I can clear that up:
Deadlock has just appeared on the FNAF PTB, with the name, icon and description changed.
Once the PTB hits live 17 of June, all 3 of Pinhead's perks will be available.
-
So... You go into fatigue anyway?
Because that is basically just aiming into the floor while blinking.
-
I dislike how much they flip-flop on accesibilty.
Because the game has so many anti-accesible things in it it hurts.
Colorblind people got screwed over with the new colors (yes I will complain about the colors again, you can't stop me), it took 9 years to get brightness options, they already have people with Emetophobia and Coulrophobia just having to deal with it, Spirit is a nightmare for hard of hearing people, ect.
Accesibility is NEVER a priority here. Never was and never will be.
-
The issue is that M1 killers need buffs tailor-made to them.
Plus, half of them are mediocre with bad parts of their kits.
-
The Ciri, Yennefer and idk how the Mikaela one is called cosmetics are costumes, not legendaries.
The portraits are correct
-
Forgotten Ruins are way too small.
The same issue is with Haddonfield, you can see the other end of the map when on the edge, and a TR perk is basically map-wide.
Forgotten Ruins should maybe get an extra room or two in the dungeon, a bigger size on the surface layer, and a second pathway in aside from the tower.
-
On the killer side, Artist, Knight, Lich and the upcoming Animatronic all have good perks, especially the first two.
On the survivor side you have some good ones, but the recent trend was to give more wacky perks to survivors. Orela has good ones tho.
-
These are good!
Yes please.

Oof, yeah they really do need addon passes. It's hard to exactly scale who needs it the most in what order though.
Yeah, it would be difficult to gauge who gets priority.
Imo, the best solution would be to dedicate an entire patch to just add-on passes and solve all of them in a single swoop.
-
Yes.
And throw in Houndmaster, Hag, Shape, Deathslinger, Bubba, Demo and Unknown.
-
I would like to change Tier I lunge to be bigger, so at least he has that.

Yeah I'm not asking for them to be meta, I'm not sure where you got that idea
I just want them to get some QOL and maybe a small buff to make them 'decent'.
Decent =/= Meta
Me too lol.
To the topic, I would reduce the time needed to heal back to 40 seconds and:
• Change the trigger condition of Moment of Glory to something along the lines of old We're Gonna Live Forever (safe unhooks, protection hits, healing downed people, ect.)
• The Clean Break change you suggested sounds really good (the on-demand activation).

the strongest killer in the game nurse, spams aura readng all the time. that lone would put distortion on S tier.
The perk got nerfed but it's still really good.
Right?
It's now not AS good as it was before, but it can still be a lifesaver both in chase and against long range aura reveals.
I put it in B because you can encounter a Wraith which makes it so chases last short, or a killer with no aura reading at all.
-
Ahh, I see you are a Dark Deception fan too.
Ngl, I'd love a crossover with Dark Deception, it could give us some really great additions.
-
@GeneralV said:
I genuinely have no idea what this perk does.
You get a protection hit, the person you are protecting gets a half sprint burst.
-
@Trapper_Main said:
I just looked up the history on 'Distortion'. Compared to the currrent iteration, it was very strong at being anti aura.
I've tried the current distortion a few times and it feels... useless? The tokens are gone instantly if it's a blight for some reason. Seems to randomly chew through them.
If huntress (had a lot of her lately, she's awesome!) Has an all aura build, and usually does, Distortion is basically an empty perk slot.
Is this how behavior deals with perks? A lot of perk changes in the history seems either too much or astonishingly too much.
Blight does have a green add-on that reveals people near him when he slams into something. That can drain distortion a lot.
-
@francesinhalover said:
Lmao distortion on b when all killers spam aura reading
So? You should get a ton of value in that case.
It's not higher because a SM Myers or a quad aura build is too overwhelming, but not lower because, well, it does protect from the aura reading.
-
For a second I thought, isn't Stake Out supposed to fill that job? And then I remembered that Corrective Action only makes skill checks good.
With that said, sure why not?

Just returned, I see that tomes entries have been unlocked.
Decided to sign in just to voice this opinion. I'd like for the tomes section to remain as is forever. Please do NOT remove or whatever. That includes tucking it away. I dont like that idea. Usually that comes with trimming away everythign except the entries. I always hated when games and such do that. I'd like to keep the challenge webs, rewards, challenges and everything so that newer players can see what came before, can read abotu the challenges that players needed to do and what challenges led to what entry to drop. Everything. The whole of the compendium as is is all flavor for me. Some of the books have scraggly webs and the others have ordered lines. That feels every bit as a part of the established lore in design as the entries themselves. Plus, keeping the challenges gives me some agency as to what I want to attempt. So. Keep the whole compendium and please dont cut any bit of it?
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
Yes.
Keep them there, they don't bother anyone, and I want my funny White Glyph mirrors.

@Langweilig said:
I would rank light weight and deception higher.
You are overestimating shadow step, lucky break and bite the bullet very much in my opinion.
I don't think I'm overestimating them that much.
But, to each their own, I guess. After all, this tierlist was not made to be objective.
-
Me too lol.
I was really happy when it got unnerfed.

Fixated pretty much forces the necessity of aura perks on indoor levels. walking too OP.
Hmm, I might try that one lol.
I think it has potential, but you usually bring it as an aid for your other perks or in specific situations, like stealthing around indoor maps.

@CrossTheSholf said:
Noticing a distinct lack of comments from community managers or devs here....
Seems like we have to raise the awareness a bit more.
Maybe by mass bringing Chest offerings so every new Springtrap player starts to complain about the spawns.
And, as we know, the devs take the feedback of the FNAF fanbase very seriously...
-
I'd wish.
The old lighting is miles better than what we have now. Old MacMillan, Crotus Prenn, Haddonfield, they all looked better.
-
Yeah.
This game is not accesible at all, and it just got worse with the color changes (which I'll hate even with my dying breath), so accesibility is never the reason behind adding or not adding things.
-
@ImWinston said:
- "urban evasion" is a good perk, not extraordinary, but good. Against some killers it is really strong (Huntress, Hag, even Pyramid Head). Surely there are worse perks than it. his problem is his reputation and "hidden rats" play style🤣
Eeh, debatable.
Even in the cases you mentioned it doesn't do that much.
It's not the worst perk in the game, that title would go to the Invocation Taurie released with, and Self Preservation/Cut Loose may be worse. But it still sucks.
-
It's got it's charm, but most characters are unusable.
Huggy? What is exactly special about him that warrants a full killer power?
Mommy? DbD doesn't support spiderman-esque powers, so all that's left are strechy limbs (basically a projectile)
The Doctor is already a character, a monitoring, always present killer is already in the game (Singularity)
So you're left with Catnap. He could work tho.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
I would not rate Lucky Break that high. Because you basically need a whole Build around it or at least pair with with another Perk like Iron Will (since the removal of Scratchmarks and Blood does not really matter if you can still be heard).
And I think a Perk which requires at least 2 Perk Slots to be efficient can really be one of the best Stealth-Perks.
Yes, pairing it with a perk that removes grunts of pain is pretty necessary.
But, Lucky Break is imo still one of the stronger stealth perks simply because it's not locked behind a very specific action or condition, works for an entire minute + any time you gain back, and fully removes 2 ways to track you.
-
@Nazzzak said:
I've been using Light-footed lately and it definitely confuses alot of killers, particularly around tall walls. I do wish they'd drop the vault condition completely but the buff it's getting soon will help.
Yeah, that'd be great.
Having 2 conditions to worry about is really annoying.
-
It's a pretty worthless boon.
It gets outclassed by Deja Vu and Plunderer's Instinct, or Detective's Hunch.
I would personally do this:
• Make it so that it also shows the auras of totems, pallets and windows.
• Replace the cleansing/blessing speed bonus with a 4/5/6 second lingering effect.
• Make it so this perk ignores the Blindness status effect while inside the boon's radius.
