Enduring is a very bad perk, a good survi will peddle in the correct pallet
I think they meant Endurance the status effect.
-
I couldn't be bothered about owning a Deep Rift variant as is, so dropping a crap ton of Auric Cells (enough to buy 4 characters) would be a no from me.
-
Usually the DLC costs less.
-
Well, at least there is one improvement with the 9.0.0 Patch. The Event items are now Common again, so no overpriced Bloodshot Eyes and Dowsing Rods!!
Thank god.
-
I would:
• Remove the Uncommon variants of all of them.
• Buff the numbers on the Common variants to 150%.
• Buff the numbers on the Rare variants to 200% and decrease the rarity by one tier.
-
Revert the change that made all map affecting offerings Secret.
Only moris, map offerings and shrouds should be secret. Not chest and especially not Hatch offerings.
-
Oh, I want to see many perks updated.
I have 5 or more discussions dedicated to just perk changes.
-
We can raise awareness about this by mass-equipping Shiny Coin on survivor once Springtrap hits live lol.
-
It should come as a base-game, all-year-round item.
Since the LNY event is gone, why keep the firecracker locked behind it?
-
RPD seems to appear more often ever since the Realm Selection changes.
It may just be an odd coincidence. Or a bug, idk.

Lol. Here we go with the ‘just use your eyes’ take—spoken like someone who’s only ever played killer or SWF and thinks solo queue survivors are running wallhacks.
Let me guess, next you’re gonna tell me to ‘just loop better’ while crouch-face is breathing down my neck with zero terror radius and no stain, right?
You’re acting like awareness magically compensates for intentional information denial in a game that literally gives killers a power designed to bypass visual and audio cues. But sure, let me ‘just look around’ with 90° FOV while juggling skill checks, camera sweeps, and praying the killer isn’t crouched behind a bush waiting to tunnel the unhooked guy.
Maybe if you stopped pretending your anecdotal skillset overrides game design, you’d understand this isn’t about being dumb—it’s about BHVR giving killers a free ride at the expense of solo queue sanity.
Ah, yes.
Solo Q can't deal with this, therefore it must be OP and purged!!!
Solo Q has people playing on autopilot, trollers and many other kinds of dumb people. You really want to remove an entire branch of killer powers just because the 10 hour Meghead can't focus on more than one thing at a time?
With this logic, trap killers and side-objective killers should be removed too because they "are too difficult". Also throw Vecna and Dracula in, because the solo Q dum-dums don't have enough brain-power to counter them. That's HALF the killer roster.

How about no’—wow, stunning argument. Truly Socratic. I’ll be thinking about that one-word masterpiece while I’m getting grabbed off a gen by Ghost Face for the 15th time because solo queue still doesn’t come with telepathy.
How about you use those things in your skull called eyes and look around you while on a gen instead of staring at a wall?
Honestly, if your teammates and you aren't dumb, the killer will get 1 grab MAXIMUM, because the moment you know it's a stealth killer, you can just pay attention to your surroundings and avoid that kind of situation.

Imo he feels awful period.
Not sure why so many people love to play him.

Some of them like The Ink Demon but for some reason I have a feeling a bunch of people are going to say it isn't going to fit into DbD, maybe bc of the Art style? I still like Batim
as for the other ones I have no clue who they are 😿
They made Kaneki not look completely out-of-place, they'll manage with Bendy, imo.

How about no.

You're acting surprised? They want to transition over to Fortnite to appeal the kids. All these HUD, color rarity and rift changes is all for the sake of money laundering noobs.
Even tho it's completely unnecessary and the kids end up ragequitting after thair first comp Nurse encounter lol.
-
I like the idea of a "supercharged" basic attack with Septic Touch. The numbers would make or break the perk tho, as Broken is a strong effect to just dish out.
Giving Dominance a bit more flair shouldn't be an issue.
I like Wreched Fate as a side quest for the Obsession only, but the lazy repair speed debuff is what ruins it for me.
Not sure about Undone, I honestly don't have an opinion here.

I feel like Slenderman is a fan favorite and I think they will add him in time, I got that feeling👆😺
Good list 8/10🥳
I do hope so too.
Just curious, are you familiar with the other IPs I mentioned too?
-
The Slenderman, The Ink Demon from BATIM, those are my picks that are more likely.
The less likely ones are:
Dread Duckies and Doug Hauser from the Dark Deception.
Sister Madeline and William Bismarck from Evil Nun: The Broken Mask
Several of the main monsters from DOORS.

I wish the bodyblocking solution didn’t require the survivor to gain AFK crows, so that survivors wouldn’t need to ever gain AFK points faster than 100% speed.
Because that just seems stressful for survivors. What if two survivors jump into adjacent lockers to avoid BBQ… would they gain AFK points at 200%? What if two survivors are working on a generator and it becomes blocked… if they just stood there and waited for the generator to become unblocked, would they gain AFK points at 200%?
The game knows what a distance threshold is, since they’ve been using it for the AFK crow system. The game could just say if a survivor hasn’t moved over a distance threshold for 45 seconds, and hasn’t made any interactions for those 45 seconds, then they lose collision until they either move over the distance threshold or they make an interaction.
That'd be the more elegant and simple solution.

I think so. I'm assuming the game does this so that survivors can hide near the killer, and gain AFK points at 50% speed.
But I need to check if the game has a special rule for the killer being extremely close to the survivor (close enough to bodyblock), even though my intuition says they probably don't have a special rule for this, because if they did, then they probably could have easily made a better solution for extreme bodyblocking. And even if a special rule did exist, survivors would still be able to bodyblock each other up to 100 seconds (10 seconds grace period + 90 seconds at 100% AFK speed), before the bodyblocked survivor loses collision.

Hm. That seems like a grandiose oversight if that's indeed how it works.
I really hope that this thing will be adressed, for example like this:
- If a player is standing completely still within a 1,5 meter radius of a second player also standing still, the AFK timer progresses at a 200% speed.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Trapping players in unwinnable games is completely out of touch. They're doing everything except making meaningful changes to areas where the gameplay loop is broken. The developers have still never (to my knowledge) explained why a survivor should do a gen and not hide in a 2v1 with multiple gens remaining. There still seems to be no plan to prevent terrible, pointless matchups like a comp Blight vs 4 solo players whose hours range from 500-5000.
The MMR changes may adress that and avoid unfair pair-ups, but there is a lot that can go wrong.
-
@Coffeecrashing said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3936361#Comment_3936361
It's actually worse than that, because if the killer is bodyblocking a survivor, the survivor is considered near the killer, and therefore gains AFK points at 50% speed. This means the absolute worst case scenario is the killer is bodyblocking a survivor up to 190 seconds (10 seconds grace period + 180 seconds of AFK points at 50% speed), before the survivor gets 3 crows, and loses collision.
Wait, so even while standing still next to the killer, it still goes down so slow?
That's really dumb.
-
@AmpersandUnderscore said:
It seems a bit odd to me that they finally updated this system, but didn't take some of the more common sense issues into account.
It makes sense, for example, that interacting with the killer's power should at least count as "playing the game" to progress toward removing crows. Things like pig hats, Onryo tapes, or even flame turrets that take more than a couple seconds to interact with/use shouldn't also be forcing survivors to announce their location as well.
On the other hand, they completely whiffed when it comes to the killer being afk apparently. Body blocking in a corner will still force the survivor to get crows and they physically can't do anything about it. They should, at minimum, remove collision when you get a certain number of crows so you can at least phase through a body block to get out. (You can still get hit, just pass through someone - this already exists for falling onto another character)
This actually is included in the changes, though.
When you gain all 3 crows, you lose colision with all players. This makes it so the killer can't bodyblock forever.
-
Thank you for making this discussion.
I was pretty unsure about how this exactly worked, so I'm glad to see exact values.
IMO, the new AFK system is pretty good, even a bit lenient I'd say.
-
I feel like if the aura reveal was like Plaything, where it would reveal itself after a certain time period, it'd be fine.
Also, not sure why the gate opening and recovery speeds were removed from it.

Everyone happy newbies getting free stuff. Watch low ELO get boosted and then shock Pikachu when those Perks get nerfed because of low ELO being boosted by the three Perks.
That wasn't an issue with Demo's perks, not sure why it should be with Pinhead's.

Boons need some love (as do all of the special perk types), that's for sure.
Here is how I'd change them:
General changes:
• Reduce the noises that the boons make to make them not as loud.
• Increase the general radius of the boons to 32 meters
• Reduce the time needed to bless a dull totem to 7 seconds.
• Now, totems automatically break after being snuffed.Individual Perk changes:
Boon: Circle of Healing
• Injured survivors now can see the auras of survivors inside the Boon.Boon: Shadow Step
• Add an effect of muffling footsteps of survivors into it.Boon: Illumination
• Make it so that it also shows the auras of totems, pallets and windows.
• Replace the cleansing/blessing speed bonus with a 4/5/6 second lingering effect.
• Make it so this perk ignores the Blindness status effect while inside the boon's radius.Boon: Dark Theory (Full Rework)
Your obsessive study of the paranormal has given you unprecedented knowledge of other realms and planes of existence.
Press and hold the Ability button near a Dull or Hex Totem to bless it and create a Boon Totem. Soft chimes ring out in a 32 meter range.
When in the Boon's radius:
• You can see the auras of all regressing generators in light blue. While the Boon is active:
• Generators regress 10/15/20% slower.
• When a generator starts regressing, the blessed Totem is blocked from being snuffed for 15 seconds. -

Let's hope there's enough backlash that they revert these changes and take a look at the actual weak/"problematic" add ons (if there are any, most of her strong add ons are fine aside from maybe a few tweaks like others have suggested). I swear sometimes it's like they're so out of touch with their own player base. I was considering coming back to killer and picking artist back up for the anni event but probably not now.
I hope so, too.

Because of how CoH ended up, BHVR started to release perks with really safe and weak values. Every Boon, Teamwork perk or Invocation ended up underpowered. And as such, the community ends up not really caring about them, which then makes the devs not give us more because barely anyone is asking for more.
Another thing is, they really like to dripfeed these perks to us. We still have only 6 Scourge Hook perks, despite the popularity of Pain Res.
-
I like the ideas.
The only potential problem I see is with the Pale Rose being so vertical.
TR doesn't take verticality into account, so making it like such could cause some problems with builds and such.
-
I had a cheating Vittorio on Badham.
Head Ons from lockers no one was in, blinds from nowhere when I picked him up.
To top it off, I had Iron Maiden (was playing Artist), so he spammed the locker over and over.
Fun part is, he died to the EGC because I kept him and Taurie in one of the rooms of the school.
Reported him for cheats.

I agree that the Hexes need help and that tutorials should be improved.

Tbh, I never understood why people were so pressed about the old Dead Hard. 🤷♂️
Like I'm curious, what was wrong with it? It just gave some distance at the penalty of exhaustion.
Free escapes.
You made a mistake and won't make it to the pallet? Dead Hard.
The killer is about to hit you? Dead Hard.
Want to get to places you're not supposed to? Dead Hard.

The 3 problems begginers have is MMR being weird, a hopelessly outdated tutorial, and the overall grind.

So, I might be ranting a little bit, but Springtrap has an add-on that lets him, when entering one of his doors, see gen progression through auras. It really resembles Legion’s Fuming Mix Tape except that… Legion can’t just teleport directly to a gen (doors are really close to gens) with a little Undetectable as the cherry on top.
How is that balanced?Wraith has the exact same add-on.
And there was never an issue with him.

@Gh0st2317 said:
They need to revert the new scheme, or add a switch to it. There has been reports as well of people being colourblind and struggling to see their items/perks. Secondly, it doesn't feel the same either. I've always used to yellow being uncommon and green for rare. But now since it's changed, it adds some confusion. Not only to myself, but probably to other new players if they decide to watch old DBD tips and maybe the old veterans who decide to return.
Yet another problem created by BHVR changing stuff that is not broken.
-
My friend, there are upwards of 10 whole killer add-on SETS that need some real buffs.
Just to name a few, Nemesis, Pyramid Head, Houndmaster, Hag, Myers, Bubba, Unknown and Deathslinger all need some updating to their add-ons for one reason or another.
-
Change these colors BHVR. It's okay to admit you made a mistake.

I play her occasionally and yeah, her add-ons are all pretty mid-tier when compared to some of the stuff other killers get.
Nerfing the Hindered effect on Untitled Agony is hilarious. It already basically only made you break even considering Artist has to slow herself while both placing and launch crows… This change just made it absolutely worthless.
If they actually wanted to change up her playstyle, then change the perk itself:
"Removes the ability to damage Survivors with crows during the initial 7.5m flight. Survivors who are Swarmed suffer from a 15% Hindered effect for 2.5 seconds."
Now players suddenly have a different playstyle open to them and there's a reason to take that Add-on.
That would be a better possibility than just nerfing the Hindered and be done with it.
