I think the common one reduces it by two meters, uncommon one reduces it by four meters and the very rare one reduces it by eight meters.
They are getting buffed in the next update though, so this might change.
-
I think it’s because the Survivors are their cash cows and quickly threaten to quit when Killers get buffed (I’m not saying that Killers don’t do this, I just see this with more Survivors).
I wouldn’t be surprised if the moment the devs found out about the DS bug against Doctor, the bug fixing team dropped everything and rushed to get it fixed ASAP.
-
That's weird. Are you sure they didn't have Deep Wound? If not then I'd chalk it up to connection problems or cheating. Make sure to report this to the link Boosted_Dwight posted.
-
I think one of the devs said that they like cooldowns because they're easier to balance, but I'm not sure about that. They are going overboard with them though. Thrilling Tremors, Surge, and Blood Echo are three great examples of this.
-
It's because the Emblem system ended up being horribly designed. The devs would mainly make whatever changes they wanted and ignored most feedback (see the changes in 2.6.0). I'm actually surprised they fixed Gatekeeper in 3.5.0. Now they're just ditching it for an MMR system so can they hide how terribly designed their ranking system is.
-
They should remove its cooldown and buff Hemorrhage a bit.
Hemorrhage isn’t super useful and good Survivors don’t need their Exhaustion perks.
-
Yes because you’re already ######### at that point. Your chances of escaping are too low. I think that’s also the reason you can’t kobe if you’re the last Survivor left.
-
I don't think running BBQ over Thrilling will help as much as you think it will. There's more factors that go into a Killer loss like map size, Survivor skill, and gen/loop placement. A Killer could run BBQ, Thrilling, and two other slowdown perks or even a full slowdown build and still lose.
-
Because it would be too much for our precious Survivors.
-
Hell no, this is too good of an idea. It makes way too much sense. Why can't I force the Killer to lose his momentum because I'm bad at Survivor? I also need to be able to pull off my sick locker plays for those montages.
-

His power and design don't even make sense, how does a chainsaw generate enough force to propel you forward, does it run on quantum energy or something? Almost all the rank 1s I've seen thus far this season have just spammed hillbilly, seems to be a power decrepancy between him and other killers to me.
Are you serious with that first point? This is a game about a supernatural being that has its supernaturally powered minions try to kill you. It's kinda obvious that the Entity powered up Billy's chainsaw.
You are either going up against rank 1s who have gotten good at Billy or you/your teammates are bad against him. Stay away from open spaces and try to keep him at loops. Going out in the open can be a death sentence against him.
-
Get good.
I put as much effort into my reply as you did into nerf Billy post #39,530.
-
Killer: NOED and Insidious.
Sometimes I have to do the gens quickly instead of looking for totems because my teammates are being trashy. It's more of a "my teammates are crap" complaint rather than "this perk is OP".
Insidious basically means "you're getting hard camped and tunneled, no matter what". Sometimes it can be used to catch Survivors off guard at loops but it's really risky and won't always work.
Survivor: DS and Head On.
DS can easily get you when you're not tunneling and it's kinda boring to run around either protecting the slug or looking for the others while waiting for DS to run out even though you didn't tunnel.
Head On was just a terrible idea from the beginning with how ######### the servers and registration are. I've had a decent amount of incidents where I began the locker grab animation only for it to cancel and let the Survivor stun me instead. I wouldn't mind if BHVR temporarily disabled the perk or brought back its old version until they can get it to properly work.
-
I really, really hate it when one of the Survivors just abandons the other and hides the moment they realize they're the last two. At least try to help out instead of completely abandoning your teammate.
If it's something else like a Survivor killing themselves to let the last one get the Hatch, then that's fine with me.
-
Doctor's. It's badass and terrifying. Those sirens in it really make me go "Oh ######### he's getting closer".

I wouldn't necessarily put it that way. If there was no chase music, survivors would never escape a chase from a good killer due to footsteps, grunting, groans of pain, breathing, etc.
I like the new killers' custom music because it's quiet enough to hear survivors, but also loud enough that they can outplay you.
Is it supposed to be loud enough to where you can't hear a Survivor when they're right by you or is that just the sound being bad? I had a Claudette (No Iron Will) come right up to me three times (she was trying the window trick) and not once did I hear her. I only caught her because I looked around.
-
Because we'd able to hear nearby Survivors. Gotta let them do their jukes or else they'll throw a tantrum.
-
@TAG said:
If you don't care what anyone says, then there's no real purpose in discussing this, is there?
Poor teammates is not the game's fault.
OP just wants some attention. That’s all.
-
Doctor. I don’t really have to worry about where that Blendette is at or how many Survivors are on gens because of his Madness.
-
I hate them. In red ranks Adepts become hell because you have to get four Iridescents against decent Survivors with a specific perk build. The Chaser Emblem being poorly designed doesn’t help either.
Oni has to not use his power that much because the instadown punishes him and his three perks don’t work with him or each other. In order to get Adept Oni, you basically have to turn him into a near-perkless M1 Killer. Plague is similar except her perks can work well. If the Adept requirements were still just kill everyone, you wouldn’t need to go through all that trouble. I’m still confused as to why the devs changed them and then ignored all feedback. It was obvious the community didn’t like the Adept changes and wanted them reverted.
-
It would need some major drawbacks. That's way too long of a speed boost in a game where time is everything to the Killer.
-
Least favorite: Hag because of dumbass teammates don't crouch against her.
Don't really have a favorite.
-
*Keys shouldn't be in chests

In eighth grade, there was a baby snake in my English class, which terrified the girls. It was quickly removed, but after we all sat down, I started making snake sounds. A couple of days later, I received the nickname Snake Sound. I think someone just randomly brought it up.
222 came from a fake phone number I made for a project in eighth grade.
-
Just rework or nerf them. Simple as that.
-
I think the devs can't fix it, so they're just going to hide it. They most likely think that it's not the lower number of Killer players, but their matchmaking system.
-
What? You're kidding right? He needs so many things in order to work:
- Indoor map
- No Spine Chill
- Survivors that can't loop
- Extended Tier 1 range add-on, or he'll have T-Rex arms for the entire match
- Survivors that aren't aware of their surroundings
Scratched Mirror Myers is definitely not OP.
-
They don't test things that thoroughly. I might just have to continue dodging four toolboxes.
-
I’d love for the Moris to have more gore in them, but the devs are too scared of countries banning the game. To get around that, they could just ask each country if they’re fine with it and then only release the updated Moris to countries that allow them. That’s how other games get around the censorship. It looks stupid when Demogorgon shakes the Survivor’s head around or Huntress cuts their body open only to not see any damage on them. It’s a ######### horror game with crazy, supernaturally powered killers after you!
-
They should completely rework the Hatch. The EGC only solved Hatch standoffs.
-
It's not all of them. There's nice Survivor mains out there who don't think they're entitled to everything.
I can understand why you'd hate the other type of players though.
-
I wouldn't mind if they replaced Sabotage with something else entirely. Never been a big fan of it.
-
I have all Killer adepts minus Oni because ######### the Emblem system and the devs ruined the Adepts in 2.6.0. I care about my mental health.
For Survivors, I have all except Jane, Steve, Nancy, Yui, and Bill because I keep forgetting about them.

It doesn’t happen to me with the others killer! Just with the doc! Especially further in the match
Does it happen randomly (as in your FPS drops even when you're just moving around the map) or are you doing a specific action (like chasing, using your power, swinging, kicking a pallet/gen, etc)?
-
@apple550 said:
It has literally been doctor every other game since the changes were made, and he's still not fun to play against. I think players are seeing him as an easy way to win as killer now.
Not really. You just need to end loops early and use more stealth. You're either going up against good Doctors, getting bad teammates, or you're just bad yourself when it comes to facing Doctor.
-
When are you experiencing FPS drops? I'm a PS4 Doctor main and the only time I really drop frames with him specifically is in a chase if multiple Survivors have high Madness levels. Any other time is something that happens with all Killers.
-
I don’t think the devs tested the Emblem system very much. They just put the changes in and expected us to like them. When it turned out that we didn’t, they mostly ignored us, either because they just didn’t care about Emblems anymore or they were too proud of it and refused to do any changes. It took nearly a year for them to look at Gatekeeper. Devout is actually bugged to where it doesn’t compensate you for DCs and has that stupid hook actions requirement. Chaser has always been like this. I’m guessing the devs completely forgot that instadowns and/or efficient players existed.
-
Probably because Devotion was added two years after the game launched.
-
Because he doesn't need one. You literally just move to avoid his chainsaw. You can turn him into an M1 Killer very easily.
-
Probably Legion. His power is useless for downing Survivors.

To me, people defending Hillbilly's game design just shows how many people don't know what they're talking about.
I mean, they can disagree with me - they're wrong - but they can disagree with me. So their opinions mean less than nothing to me.
The devs will eventually nerf him because he's not in-line with the other characters & I'll just be able to sit here thinking "told ya so" while they then go on to defend something else & pretend like they never was behind Hillbilly in the first place.
You can't give every killer cooldowns on their abilities except one & then say that one is fine. Either everyone is worked the same way, or none of them are.
Honestly, it doesn't have to go beyond comparing Oni to Hillbilly. That sums it up right there. Hillbilly always has a one shot. Oni has to collect blood to build to his & it's limited. Hillbilly can run forever, Oni can't. How is it still a debate?
Oni can use the blood orbs to track Survivors. Billy has no tracking tools. That's why his power is limited.
-
Killer: *is good*
Survivors: "WAAAAHH I HAVE TO TRY AGAINST THIS KILLER BHVR PLZ NERF!!!"
Seriously, is it that hard to go up against a Killer who challenges you? Do all you guys want is to loop every Killer for five gens? Adapt or die.
Also, there's many factors that go into the stats. Freddy is currently the highest, but we don't know why. Is it a perk or add-on that's making him do so well? How good are the players? What map are they on? Pretty sure the devs said that the stats they gave out don't matter as much as you're thinking.
-
It takes him a long time to reach tier 3 with those add-ons and he is slowed down, so you can just rush the gens. If he reaches tier 3 before the gates are powered, it’s because you or your teammates fed Michael or didn’t do gens quick enough. Hiding in a locker will prevent him from actually killing you and he’ll put you on his shoulder like normal instead.
-
SWFs plus the new Sabo is going to be a major problem.
-
Hopefully they'll buff Deathslinger instead of nerfing Billy. Remember this is a test build and things can be changed between today and the day it hits the live servers.
-
Mixed.
Sabotage sounds like it could abused by SWF, but the Deathbringer and his perks sound awesome and as a Doc main, I am ecstatic about his buffs. Tier 1 Afflictions! No charge penalty with shock range add-ons! Static Blast CD and shock delay add-ons! I can't wait for this to hit the live servers!

they have bloodlust tho
You lose Bloodlust when you use your power. It goes away the moment Doc releases the shock.

@Secreted said:
Exhaustion add-ons are unhealthy for the game. Having a RNG chance of whether or not they're useful if Survivors bring one is bad.
The Exhaustion effect was an extra effect for the old Obedience. Even if nobody has an Exhaustion perk (which is highly unlikely), you would still get some use out of the add-on.
@TWiXT said:
ugh, they gave us back the god awful scrapped tape with its original effect, and they increased its rarity... On the plus side, counter clockwise skillchecks are base kit now, but still... ######### scrapped tape!
We also get tier 1 afflictions and no charge penalty on shock range add-ons! The positives definitely outweigh the negatives here.
-
I’m excited for the afflictions working in Tier 1 and no more charge penalty on the shock range add-ons.
