  • Let Nurse have 110% movement speed and five blinks/omega blink (whichever you think is more overpowered) again.

  • They realized you already felt bad and wanted to make you feel even worse. You encountered a group of Survivors whose only goal is to make the Killer feel bad.

I think a big part of why people can get so toxic in DbD is because of how competitive it is.

  • Pray that the poor optimization decides to let my hit connect.

  • It's like that on all platforms. Consoles are just worse because of how poorly optimized they are. Survivors can get away with a lot more things on consoles than on PC.

  • Plague being unable to see the Survivors’ sickness meter is really stupid. Knowing which Survivor is about to break can’t be OP in any way. It’s the same thing with Pig’s traps. Knowing how close a Survivor is to death can’t be OP because the timer pauses while in a chase.

The reason there isn’t an extra effect to her Vile Purge is because Corrupt Purge exists in its current state. She becomes a 115% Huntress with it.

If you want Survivors to cleanse, then bring Dying Light and Thanatophobia. Because the Survivors are going to be Broken, they won’t be able to take advantage of the boost Dying Light gives them and they’ll always have Thanatophobia active. You can easily get 30% slowdown if nobody cleanses. In my experience, Survivors will rush to cleanse once they realize what perks you’re running, even if they’re only a little bit sick. They’re that scared of the combo. Survivors staying injured is actually a problem with the game itself and not Plague. Some Survivors rush the gens and either bring Adrenaline or rely on their teammates to heal themselves so they don’t waste time healing.

  • You want them to cleanse! You become a 115% Huntress if the Survivors cleanse.

  • Exposed means you go down in one hit. Since you were against a Spirit, she probably had the perk Hex: Haunted Ground where if the Survivor cleanses a Hex Totem (those small skull thingies you sometimes find on the ground, but they're glowing), everyone receives the Exposed effect for 40/50/60 seconds.

That iridescent head for huntress is OP. they should really limit it to one Ultra rare item per character. One hit throws are just stupid. Like why would anyone want to play against killers with one hits or ebony Mori’s? I’d rather back out. Like I said though, they should just remove some of that stuff. Because it’s not like survivors are doing all 5 gens without getting found. So you’re telling me somebody gets caught, they just die. And that was fair game? 😂 okay. It’s not like survivors have an ultra rare item that gives them an instant gen for an instant down trade off. Or an instant gen for an instant death after hook trade off. No they get 2 hard skill checks on a brand new part and a bulb that you have to put yourself in harms way to use 😂 either way, it’s gonna take extra hard work to use their effects. But killers, no they don’t have to work hard to use their ultra Rares. Cool thing is, they get to use them all game long. Meaning, they don’t burn out like a brand new part, or a flash light bulb. Lmao.

Are you really trying to turn this into another "Iridescent Head is OP" thread?

  • It’s fine the way it is. Just get good at skill checks.

Also, half the situations aren’t actual tunneling and just you looking for a reason to use the perk.

  • I wouldn't mind if they just ditched prestige completely and raised the level cap to 200. The bloody clothing could be given out at levels 51, 101, and 151.

  • Great idea! I'd love to hear Doctor's music in the main menu. His rework hit at the same time the Lunar New Year "event" began and when it ended, they just switched to the original theme for some reason instead of putting Doctor's theme.

  • Wait a minute? You can stop a Hatch escape with Shock Therapy? Oh you should not have told me that.

Just try to ignore the stun and keep looping him. It doesn't stop you from moving.

Also Doctor's supposed to drive you mad. He literally has a mechanic called "Madness".

  • Also in my experience, it causes the FPS to take a nosedive.

  • Grabs have been bugged ever since 2.2.0 where they sped up the animation. Dedicated servers made them even worse. I would expect a fix sometime at the end of 2020 or beginning of 2021.

  • We should get triple BP. It's an even greater incentive to stay inside.

  • I ######### hated the EGC challenges and the last Hatch close challenges. They are way too RNG reliant and didn't even count properly. For the EGC challenges, I had so many games where I closed the Hatch at the very end and even though the Hatch Closed score appeared before the sacrifice one did and it still didn't count. They either need to be fixed or just never show up in a future Tome. It is not fun at all to play 20 games where you don't find the Hatch in time or you do but the game ######### you over and then you have to play 20 more to close the Hatch when the game wants you to. Challenges need to be fun, otherwise they just become chores to do.

The key challenge was annoying because it required Survivors to use an item that many Killers consider to be overpowered. It'd be like if there was a Mori challenge for Killers.

I enjoyed the other challenges. They were fun, straight to the point, and didn't require you to pull off some once-in-a-lifetime trick (cough Six Feet Under cough).

The only lore that I've completed at this point is Doctor's, and holy ######### it is amazing. I loved watching the video and learning more about what he did before the Entity found him.

  • It's because consoles are poorly optimized. 360s are much, much more effective on platforms that have to struggle with performance.

  • Where's the poll?

As for Oni's range, I have not played him since his release and I have never seen an Oni as Survivor, so I can't say if it's too far or not.

  • @BigBubs said:

If there is no survivors close to the hook then yes. Why shouldn't it? Endgame doesn't change anything related to emblems.

You can try standing further than 16m away. Or you can try chasing others away. You can try hooking somewhere that will not make it easy to unhook and run out instead of going for the closest hook that's gonna make it easy to save.

Also , hooking is your objective, not "guarding". If camping was the objective then you wouldn't lose points for it.

You've got to be kidding me. This is a joke, right?

There's nothing left for the Killer to do at that point. Gates open in 20 seconds and don't regress. The hooked Survivor is the only objective left that's worth something. You know that at least two of the Survivors are going for the save. If they pull it off, then they are going to bolt to the nearest gate while bodyblocking. You're basically saying that Killers should just let Survivors do whatever they want in the endgame. Do you send salty "camper" messages when the Killer's ignoring the rulebook and is actually trying to secure a kill during the last moments of the game?

  • No. At that point the game is over. If you escape the hook, the Killer will down you again and either put you back on the hook or slug you for 60 seconds. The chances of you successfully pulling off an escape are too low to justify this. You'd also have to deal a lot more slugging Killers because they don't know who has DS unless they're stream sniping, and not everyone is a streamer. Do you really want to extend your game by 60 seconds where you're doing nothing or just end it and move on to the next game?

  • It deactivates whenever the Survivor performs an interaction (ex. entering a locker, repairing a gen), when the gates are powered, or when another Survivor is downed. The reason I say downed instead of hooked is to prevent the Survivors from piling on top of each other and forcing me to pick up the wrong Survivor. I can easily see SWFs trying to do this just to be an ######### to the Killer. With these nerfs, DS will only punish true tunnelers and not Killers who capitalized on your mistakes.

  • The sound is already broken to where it's like every Survivor has Iron Will.

  • The new Hangman's Trick is flaming garbage compared to the old one and the PTB one. The devs showed again they don't really know what they're doing with sabotage. They should've either left Hangman's Trick the way it was in the PTB or kept the old version that decreased hook regeneration time.

  • They added the counterclockwise skill checks to his base kit. The increased time to Snap Out of It hasn’t been added to anything else. It was replaced by Doc’s worst add-on, Scrapped Tape.

  • Red Herring can also screw you over. I've caught every Survivor that has used Red Herring against me because they always jump in lockers close to the gen. To really waste the Killer's time, the Survivor needs to jump in a locker a good distance away from their gen. It can also combo with Head On. The Killer wastes time looking for you and when they finally find your locker, you use Head On.

I would agree that Diversion is superior because you don't know what the direction the pebble came from. Anything could've made that notification.

  • You sound like you're new to Survivor.

When you reach Madness tier 3, you need to Snap Out of It. This stops the random screams and allows you to work on gens again. If you're going for an unhook while in tier 3, then of course he'll go to the hook. He knows where you're at, so why wouldn't he try to stop you? If you actually can't unhook anyone, then that's because of the stun from his shock therapy. It locks you out of interactions for 2.5 seconds. If that happens, then he is camping the hook (which can be countered by gen rushing) or he chased you towards/intercepted you at the hook (which can be countered by paying attention to his movement and predicting his path. In order to defeat Doctor, you have to loop him. Do not camp pallets as he can use his stun to prevent you from dropping them. Instead, drop them early so when he does go for a stun, the pallet's already dropped and he has to break it or mindgame you.

  • I think a triple BP event would be cool, especially because so many people are going to be inside. It'd be the first one since like 2017. Maybe bring back event currency to let people unlock those outfits during all this.

Agree. But I dont agree with the Doctor part. I had once a situation where the Doctor kept going for me and let me go for a few sec to snap out and then he came back over and over again. You know the classic situation that if you want to let go a skill check comes right at the same seccond. Because of that I missed sometimes a few and my snap out got delayed. I was forced to run over the entire map while in T3 and dee wound. A other survivor should mend me but they didnt wanted to for some reason until I eventually die in a chase. That was not fun at all imo.

BT's Deep Wound lasts 20 seconds and Snap Out of It takes 12 seconds, so even with a a couple of messed up skill checks, you should still have enough time to finish them. Look at it this way, if you're running around the entire map and he's still chasing you, you're keeping him distracted while the others do gens.

There needs to be a greater emphasis on other Survivors mending you. It feels like nobody knows about it.

  • I've had this happen to me several times and it's really ######### annoying. I'm honestly about to start calling for nerfs to Head On just because how of much of a boost the ######### grab detection and servers give it and it'll probably take the devs years to fix the servers and grab detection.

  • I don't think Surge keeps the gen regressing though. It just applies the 8%. You still have to go and kick it.

  • The only times I have a problem with SC is when they're using it in a corner when the Survivor is Mangled and they don't have any other healing boosts or when another Survivor is right there ready to help. I always bring SC and BK to help me when there's nobody around to heal me. If I see another Survivor coming towards me, I'll let them heal me instead. BK only brings SC down to 24 seconds, while another Survivor healing me takes 16.

I play solo all the time at reds

if you bring self care you are a detriment and will not be saved

if you can’t play injured then idk what to tell you

Let me guess, you're never outpositioned and whenever you go down, it's always your teammates' fault or the game deciding to ######### you over? Not the Killer just being skilled? Cocky players like you are often the reason entire teams go down.

  • The only things you should be able to do in Deep Wound is mend, vault, and drop pallets. Your vision should also be much darker than it already is. The only thing Deep Wound had going for it is Doctor being able to force you to Snap Out of It before Mending, but then people realized that you could Snap Out of It before the Mend timer ran out.

  • Yes. I would love to have double BP every game.

  • New Doctor is strong, but unfortunately he has some flaws (lack of mobility, dropping pallets to avoid his shock stun) that keep him out of the top 3. Nurse, Spirit, Freddy, Hag, and maybe Billy are all stronger than him.

  • If they have a lot of healing boosts, have a challenge, or are almost finished then I can understand. If they still haven't figured out that WMI heals you very quickly, then they can have fun SCing for 24+ seconds. It's even worse when they don't have any other healing boosts, not even Botany or a common medkit. 32 seconds is a LONG time in DbD. That's almost half of a gen.

You're kidding, right? Do you have any idea what this game is actually like? It really seems like you don't and just want to bully Killers into submission, especially because you want them to play by your rules. It seems like you kinda deserve the replies you're getting from those Killers.

An SWF on comms can be extremely powerful because of all the information they receive. Killers sometimes have to camp and/or tunnel because of how fast gens go and how badly map RNG can ######### them over. You are suggesting that Killers be punished for trying their best in a situation that was FUBAR from the start. The devs even accept camping and tunneling as strategies, because sometimes they can quickly turn the tide of a match. They also have multiple counters in the game for you to use.

  • Rank reset reverted to the old system again?

  • Yes, but they only count as half a pallet. You would have to do something like break two walls and one pallet or break four walls in order to activate Spirit Fury.

  • I don’t think the devs know what to do with their ranking system. They made this change back in 2.6.0 and mostly ignored this point. It’s like they changed Devout just for the hell of it. I also don’t buy their “too many Iridescent Devouts” reason because the Emblem is supposed to be about sacrificing Survivors, not how many times you hook them. That would fit better with the Malicious Emblem. It could also be a coverup for a more Survivor-sided reason (if you want to increase your chances of double pipping, you basically have to give the Survivors extra chances to survive).

  • Hold on, what? You’re seriously punished for using a BASIC ATTACK?! Holy ######### that is stupid.

  • @Peanits said:

To put it very simply, it was one of those things that appeared very unpopular at first glance, but there was a cult following to it. Since it's an add-on and completely optional, there's no harm in bringing it back.

Scrapped Tape has a cult following? Where?

But still why couldn’t you guys buff it instead of leaving it in its useless state? Don’t think the cult would mind if their add-on got stronger.

  • It's because consoles are poorly optimized and the "Animation Enhancement" thing the devs have. I wonder how many Survivors will start complaining that Killers are hitting them too often once the game is optimized for consoles and the "Animation Enhancement" BS is fixed.

  • How big is the new map? Don't tell me we have another Coldwind/Red Forest situation.

  • Oh he got some good buffs.

    • Static Blast: Guarantees a tier up
    • Shock Therapy: Guarantees half a Madness tier
    • Madness will not passively decrease
    • Counterclockwise skill checks are part of his base kit now
    • Restraint add-ons and Iridescent King will activate at tier 1
    • Electrodes no longer slow down the shock charge time
    • Interview Tape range is 24 meters instead of 20
    • Scrapped Tape returns to replace the Obedience add-on
    • Afflictions have the same numbers across all rarites (they were all buffed to be the same as the very rare add-ons)
    • Order add-ons reduce the Static Blast cooldown by 2/4/6 seconds instead of increasing the amount of Madness it inflicted
    • Discipline add-ons now reduces the Shock Therapy detonation delay by 0.1/0.2/0.3 seconds instead of increasing the amount of Madness it inflicted

    @Ghost_Face_Main said:

Static Blast: guarantees a tier up in madness

Shock Therapy: half a tier in madness per blast

Silent Doc builds are dead, because add-ons that effect terror radius now effects cooldown of Static Blast only.

Etc. Minor add-on tweaks except for add-ons that effect the shock therapy delay post usage.

Your point about Silent Doc is false. He is not dead. The Calm add-ons still effect his terror radius.

So it's not what I said above? It's just the charge rate for the shock itself? Or is it what i'm talking about above?

Because "detonation delay" could mean either of those things.

I just thought of it like a bomb and that the add-on reduces the time it takes for it to explode (or shock the Survivor in this case) after being placed and activated, so I think it’s what you’re talking about. I’m not 100% sure though.

  • It's the delay between releasing the shock and it actually hitting the Survivor. With this add-on, you can release the shock later than normal and it will still stun the Survivor.

  • The devs didn't want to give him his Exhaustion effect back (too many Survivors rely on it) so they just gave him his worst add-on back and didn't even bother to change it. It's basically wasted space on the Bloodweb.

  • I think there will be. Doctor’s comes pretty early so you could just wait a couple of days. Spirit’s is also kind of early.

I thought there was a Mori challenge at the start of level 4 though and I expected to see a lot of Moris for that. Unfortunately there’s a plain “hook 30 Survivors” challenge instead.

  • Hell no. This would be abused to hell and back.

It's neat on paper, but then you'd run into the issue of people immediately opening the gate at the start of the match to force not only themselves, but everyone in the match to derank.

What about letting escaping give the Survivor an automatic safety pip? That could fix the problem of everyone being forced to depip.
