As reading. Solution to boons and coh itself could be really simple.
CoH is like a medkit. Once depleted it breaks bones / requires regeneration / has to be relit.

If you’re playing Blight with Alch right and have decent knowledge on the killer:
- Safe loops won’t exist because he can slide around them (aka hug tech) and this goes for most maps
- You’ll find COH faster than other killers since you’ll be zooming around the map
- dead hard doesn’t work 90% of the time the way you want it too and a good blight can actually bait it out with a rush
And then is everybody shocked and astonished how all they see in matches are blights and nurses. Gee, I wonder why

And once again someone does not understand the difference between "OP" and "unhealthy for the game". Nice.
I just pick 3 examples which are not OP, but unhealthy:
"Myers is OP because he stalked your team mates and then with t3 moris you."
Myers is one of the weaker Killers. Nobody would really call him OP, but you have to admit that it is simply BS that you cannot see him for the whole game and be dead immediatly, because someone else gave him enough stalk.
"Bubba is preventing me to use my E and he face camps. But not only that, he even runs NOED!!!!!1!"
Camping Bubbas are just boring. And there is nothing fun in being camped for the person on the Hook, there is nothing fun for the other Survivors since they can only do Gens. And depending on how early the Bubba gets the Down, this strategy is at least a 2K, even if all Survivors are doing Gens, because they cannot save the first guy and it is impossible to do all 5 Gens AND cleanse 5 Totems.
Not OP, but unhealthy.
"Pig is camping box, how rude, I cannot escape because of RNG"
And you think this is OP? It clearly is not. But it is again, bad gamedesign. I dont really understand why players think that Headpops are cool anyway, if a Survivor dies because of RNG, this is nothing which the Killer did. But camping one Box and dying because you simply cannot get your Key is, again, unhealthy and bad game design.
This forum is really full of Killers. You see this in every discussion, once you say something against certain Killers, you only want easy games as Survivor or only want to bully Killers.
But you clearly do not understand why those complaints come up and they dont come up because the majority thinks that those things are OP (some will think that, but they will be a minority).
Why would killer have to face in anyway a myers before he gets moried? it requires 150% of stalk which will squeeze more stalk juice by any means. It did not bother you to do gen meanwhile. He neither cannot mori all of them.
Even with devour, somebody might meet killer first time with 5 stacks. Is that unhealthy either?
bubba m2 should be reworked i completly agree. But is it more broken then majority of ingame stuff?

You mean the only 2 survivors on the forum who actually speak out on what’s wrong on the killer side and get ridiculed from killer mains and have them claim our posts are bait?
Because it is funny how promoting noed and such perks are unhealthy because they reward bad killers with kill in the end game.

in the post you imply that ruin undying tinkerer alc ring blight isnt op (which i dont necessarily disagree with) but you say spinning is "not fine"
And after looking at maps, number of safe loops, coh, dh and it feel as 90% of killer roster is vs 4x blight with crow and ring. Irony?

I think in general the forums are killer sided but it's not a massive amount.
I also don't understand why you seem to think a person can't favor one side but also recognize there are issues for the other side that the devs need to address.
due to nature of discussions?
@[Deleted User] said:
The forums are pretty killer sided. Look at how every discussion is framed. It's always assumed that survivors will play perfectly at all times and killers will be average (except when Nurse is brought up, which is weird).
Seems you read topic titles between the lines

Having trouble figuring out what your point is. Kills Bad? Survs Bad?
Oh sorry. That both sided have problems that are less important then sbmm, which are always viewed as subjective issue - us vs them

Its nice to see how dedicated you are, but absolutely have no problems with other stuff such as how much time in loop you can get via wall clipping and especially clipping around rock tiles. How 360ing is in the same basket as hug tech and etc.
But tbf, blight flicks and hug techs no matter how much you master them, without pinball logic, blight will never be a good blight.
Lets face it aswell. this is bhvr, this will never happen :)

addicted at first.
But now just playing it, until few titles get released. And sayonara afterward

Killrates will be more or less the same. The only killrate spike is expected by nerf/rework of deadhard.

Boons are fine. CoH is fine.
Can you imagine how much pain to patricks ego would that be?

Perfect, now I checked LFG tool on Xbox, Sea of Thieves, a Dead Game with 10-11k players, has more people Looking for group than DBD xD.
And If you off Crossplay to not be matched against cheaters, Killer queue takes forever, last time I tried to do It, I stopped after 38 minutes waiting without finding a lobby.
Seems like consoles has another 40k players dude xD with luck they have 10k between Xbox and PS. I got matched last night with the same Feng Ming 7 times, imaginé how full of players this Game is that It matches the same survivors with same Killers over and over again xD
oh you.
SBMM! thats the reason of seing feng so much.
tried same. 3x in a row against same squad.
I wonder how long have they waited before I joined lobby 1st time

skill issue
oh please.
lets be objective.
last gen = lags and frame drops
controller settings = clunky
Spinning survivors can juke you easily because if u try to spin with them you will become a helicopter.
m2 and precise aim, forget about it.
Price of base game and dlcs is equal to PC. But is the game experiance somehow even? No.
-
Title and body dont fit together
-
I only kick gens if I run pop.
Otherwise no. Not even the gen that is at 99%
Keep in mind that kicking takes time, to stop regressing only a single click of m1.
So once you kick and commit to chase, a second survivor can start working on gen or just stopping regress.
Since you are new to the game, I would recommend you perks, if you do not have yet.
No way out - trickster (Block opening exit doors for 60s)
Corrupt Intervention - Plague (block majority of gens early game 90-120s dunno exact number)
Scourge hook: Pain resonance - artist (gen regress 25%? dunno exact value + information)
Do not bother with gens at all.
Just commit to chases and effective downs.
try to analyse tiles and gyms layout and how to effectively traverse through them.
Also. If you see multiple survivors in proximity. If you down one, pressure other - 1hit at least. But do not over commit with chase/slugging so you wont end up empty handed

You can predict it all you want. Even if you know it's coming, when used purely for distance, there's nothing you can do.
Or hug window/pallet. since vault would result with hit, (ab)use dh iframes to dodge -> safely escape via medium vault.

breaking arms and legs from our samara debunks the law myth
-
@Mileena_Kahn what is your idea? That 3 gens should pop before killers down you?
You want to be a survivor, who tells the story how you were chased for 5minutes and then escaped using tbags?
Wall clipping and spinning 360 doesnt bother you I assume.
What bothers you, that you either in loops/gyms your movement is just predictable and you get slapped. Or do you just prefer to hold shift W and then you get downed?
To me it seems, that you just cant or dont want to learn blight, to see, how he is not OP as you describe him, and it is fairly easy to activate 3 brain cells and juke him a bit around which will lead to wasted rushes or blind flicks.
You as a survivor are not entitled to play against m1 myers only, and proceed pre throwing all pallets and hoping that gens meantime will be done and exit gates already powered up.
If you last 10 seconds it means that you either cannot position ur self or you were caught in the open.
If you last a minute, congrats, you are amazing. Now hopefuly ur team has used the time to progress the gens and they will hopefully get you safely unhooked.
And then again, have a look at the last killer chart. After all, blight is not OP

Not letting the clients control the server would be step in the right direction.
Checking players aren't doing something they aren't meant to would help too.
Before even doing that, not allowing players with a ping above ~100ms would be nice. I've seen survivors with a ping above 1000ms (that dropped when he got hooked ... to 300ms)
Try to hit that.
I dont think they are any how doing server side validations.
And speaking of it, with spaghetti netcode, it would be so much delay between actions, thay all hits be either miss or extreme pokos.
But also the memory seems to be really nicely masked, as it seems injecting values is such easy peasy.
Heck, I wouldnt be suprised if SQL queries are not parametrized either and are crying for some injects
-
I dont entirely agree with you @Peanits
The (bandaid) solution which are quite common is pretty simple.
Bloodweb = Generates only tier 3.
Existing/purchases = In code of tier 1 and tier 2 replace properties = icon and values of tier 3.
Problem solved. If such simple solution is not plausible, then it seems, that the whole architecture of development is really in poor shape.
I dont use gaming chair, but I sure can printout hello world in many different stacks

Legion and Demogorgon

Controller is clunky af. Brightness is horible. Claudette in auto haven or midwich can just crouch in a corner and you wont even notice her.
Otherwise performance wise is great

Are new players expected to out play nearly 6 years of collective knowledge and experience?
Lets use our beloved sports analogy.
Just because you play 6 years in a NHL league, it does not mean that you are a god compared to a rookie who has just recently joined to a team and he has a walmarts hokey starter pack with a hello kitty theme for $9.99
He can still easily juke your defense and score 4 goals
But now, is he supposed to be forced to grind Shards to unlock killers for teachables, or spend over 50euros to skip half of the grind, to acquire all meta perks or perks for competitive builds?
Or what?

Nemesis M2 doesn't consume pwyf stacks? Or were you only talking about save the best for last?
for save the best.
But its interesting to try it. My detective hunch would say it only m1 consume stacks

Even Nemesis can be great. M2 and grabs dont consume tokens.
Such as nemesis is great with save the best as you can go with m2 only on obsession

Honestly I'm curious on why they didn't make one of the basement hooks a scourge hook when introducing the system
it could be a bit out of balance. Especially rewarding, knowing, if you face camp basement, not only you can perhaps trade survivor for a hook, but also regress gen.
Being lucky enough, you can down them both and proc twice

I don't think I've ever seen a Blight playing with no addons + no slowdown perks. Not trying to imply anything, just an observation.

I am genuinely suprised that none of you guys decided to be a blight main for a week? Or is it just not fun loading into insta 4K/4DC?

Guys it does not matter what McLean said, since he is not part of the team for almost year and a developer won't admit that he made bug with sliding so he says that it is intended.
OK
-
Technically you can create a seperate branch, but it involves a much more code to supervise and it would cost on performance aswell.
But what they could do, is put more love toward the controller settings to gain more quality of life for it and also invest some love at developing killers to recalculate analog value (from our sticks) into absolute value such as mouse.
It is a blight issue on controller, that you cannot do quite instant 90 flicks and it can cost you a hit (compared to PC) where you miss 10-20 degree.
Also rushing laerrys or how its called, getting through doors …they seem as your arch enemies.
The sensitive aim adjustment is horrible overall

Entity feeds on hope, the survivor shouldn't feel hopeless - otherwise why would they bother playing the game?
And regardless of popular opinions, Killers do not get nerfed due to complaints - changes are made in line with game balancing.
Survivors shouldnt feel hopeless. Wish we could say the same for the console part of community.

Changed survivors to 1PP. Darker maps. More of a hide and seek. Increased horror and anxiety feeling while playing the game.
How I currently see the game:
https://youtu.be/rgWBm5ud20Y -
As much as some have time to bless boons 24/7, it takes less time to destroy it.
It is a game mechanic, and I dont see here reasons to make some imaginary rules, that killer does not deserve a kill after 5gens done via noed, because he is bad?
I assume BT DH DS Adrenaline, etc. we could make the same statements why bad players dont need 2nd chance perks and go into us vs them …
It is plain simple. Rush gens or memorise location/do bones.
I personally in soloQ do bones when ever i find them.
I managed to countered some noeds and also by not finding last 2 totems before gens. It procced and killer went on rampage.
some you win, some you loose…
But everything that involves as secondary objective regarding just rushing gens and tbag on exit gates; saying its unfair, broken, needs a nerf…sorry lads.

"looping killer for 5 gens and not escaping" is a nice story but it rarely happens.
Also these terrible scenarios that you presented implies that survivors never escape, which is not true.
How would action icons not help? Maybe not for complete noobs, because they don't understand what's going on, but everyone who knows a bit how to play will find the action icons beneficial.
I am not saying that the current MMR and matchmaking is good, but it is also not so terrible like your pessimistic descriptions.
No, but honestly. 2-3 gens is quite simple.
Also I know, that the killer is not quite experienced when he is chasing somebody, right past you, and doesnt even care if you are doing that gen or not. The true tunnel vision
