Ah yes that fits. Kinda forgot about that one completely.
Well, hey, something gets revealed about that I guess! Am definitely more interested in this than the other two games though also kinda saturated in Open World with Zelda..
As much as i'm interested in Project S, i think that my own anticipation lies more with the upcoming June Patch for Meet Your Maker since there's nothing left for me to do in the game atm.

Legendary skin is a no too for me, people on the internet would be horrible unfortunately and I'm also worried they may do the same for cosmetics but i think resilience characterizes Max very well and it's near impossible to grief a perk icon.
That being said if they add a shirt or something and it goes to an ALS charity I'd absolutely get it.
Changing the icon is still a no for me and It's not about if people is or isn't able to grief a perk, it just seem like an unnecessary thing to change when there are better ways to do it that doesn't require to change something pre-existing in-game.
Which is why i rather just have it be as a single piece cosmetic for all Survivor to wear, also because dedicating an entire legendary skin to anyone is overkill imo.
-
I'd prefer someting like a single piece cosmetic for all Survivors to wear, similar to that of cosmetics from the Charity Case dlc.
Things like needlessly changing a perk's icon or making an entire legendary skin is a no for me.

Pretty sure it's related to Project S, which they announced back last year during the Behaviour Beyond 2022 livestream alongside Meet Your Maker, Project W and Flippin' Misfits.

Maybe when they find a way to implement killer bots into custom game that we can get something like this.
It could definitely benefit the game if done right, however if not careful then it could potential affect queue times for the game mode we already have.

Here's a fitting funeral song for VHS and Friday the 13th: The Game along with every other asym survival game that has died and disappeared within the last 5 years.

Sadako is the only one i'd make an exception for that would fit in core game because it matches with Spirit's version of that cosmetic, the rest of the cosmetics can stay at mobile.
Also don't be surprised if Sadako's skin can't come to core because of some licensing bs with Netease that prevents them from it.

I always liked aces bio
and it’s funny some of his cosmetics do make him look like a aging 50s movie star
The thing i love about Ace is the fact that the guy just keeps going without giving two shits about any and all oppositions or obstacles in his way because he knows his dumb luck is gonna get him through anything, kinda like Ash.
-
Lore-wise
- Favorite: Vittorio has the best lore while Ace has the funniest lore.
- Worst: I would say Base Haddie because she pale in comparison to her tome counterpart, however i hate Kate, Thalita & Renato's lore so much more, between who's the worst out of all 3 however i'd have to go with Renato.
Design-wise
- Favorite: Either Vittorio or Ace
- Worst: Both Mikaela & Thalita

Love that question 48 is just a blatant lie lol. To say all original sets cant be unlinked ever due to bugs n such is literally false and we've seen it countless times with sets like EVERY piece of Yun-Jin's set being functional without being in its original set, or Kate's greek gods set being UNLINKED on Mobile just fine. Not to mention Felix's weird set and if we're gonna get into the discussion about sole pieces being usable...phew like literally just say you want more money.
(Edit: remember when they confirmed that some sets would be unlinked in the future but now its not possible due to 'technical reasons' lol. They act like we the community didn't already have this feature back when sets were first introduced)
They didn't confirm anything, all they said was that they would look into the possibility and nothing more, it was never a promise that anything would come out of it.
Also it's been proven that both Yun-Jin & Kate's sets does in fact have clipping issues with other cosmetic pieces.

It being a big win is debatable. To me it feels weird and doesn't really make sense within the game. Yes it'll bring extra exposure but that won't necessarily translate into a financial win for BHVR nor a positive for the playerbase.
Having now watched the trailer I'm even less convinced this is a win then I already was.
I'd argue that It does make sense to have him within the game as the lore does support such inclusion since people from all over the omniverse gets taken into the trials, including people from our own world. (Cote confirmed this himself.)
Also as Shroompy mentioned above in the thread, if Tony Hawk's name wasn't tied to Tony Hawk's Pro-Skater, we would have gotten a real life Survivor much earlier in the game's lifetime.
-
Last hacker i saw was maybe 5-6 months ago, so it's become once in a blue moon for me when it comes to hackers.
-
I guess DBD can now add Nicolas Cage's video game debut to the growing list of things they've managed to be the first to do in video game history.
-
Quality of Life pass for what we have currently, Old Freddy can stay dead & buried.
-
Additionally, Nic Cage confirmed on stage that he was a Sadako Enjoyer.
-
No emotes pls, there are certain things i'm 100% against being added and this is one of those.
-
I wouldn't count on ST returning anytime soon.
Slasher Radio did an interview with Mathieu Cote and he basically said that he's tried to reach out to Netflix but they ain't talking to him.
-
Demogorgon is the only killer i truly never play against anymore, every other killer still end up being played against more often than not.
-
Looking forward to it, been having more fun on the newer maps than any of the older maps in recent times.
-
Hopefully not.

Actually Pinhead is not flexible. Pinheads Cosmetics are ALL linked (except the Prestige one but that is never linked).
The reason why Leatherface and Myers aren't linked is because they were released when no linked Outfits existed. So license holders didn't even care if they are linked because it wasn't even a thing back in the day.
Ghostface is a non-licensed character in DBD (except of the mask).
What I wanted to say is that the Attack on Titan License Holders don't seem to have restrictions to their licence. It's BHVR wanting to sell the whole Outfit.
But why not changing the Shop so you have to buy the full outfit but letting the option to customize them afterwards?
Actually Pinhead is not flexible. Pinheads Cosmetics are ALL linked (except the Prestige one but that is never linked).
Wrong, his original cosmetic set is mixable.
The reason why Leatherface and Myers aren't linked is because they were released when no linked Outfits existed. So license holders didn't even care if they are linked because it wasn't even a thing back in the day.
It doesn't matter if those characters came out prior to linked outfits, the license holders could very well have changed their mind for the outfits to be linked if they desired it, also at one point bhvr even accidentally linked one of Leatherface's outfit for a short while before reverting it back, same deal with Leon & Jill's first outfits before reverting them back to be linked, showing that bhvr could easily make outfits linked or not linked if needed.
Ghostface is a non-licensed character in DBD (except of the mask).
Half license still count as a license and as long as it is one, then bhvr has to abide by the license holder's wish if they want the outfits to be linked or not, doesn't matter if the outfits are original or not. In fact, they very well could have said no to bhvr being allowed to create original outfits and only allow them to use existing robes created by Fun World themself if they wanted to use the mask altogether.
What I wanted to say is that the Attack on Titan License Holders don't seem to have restrictions to their licence. It's BHVR wanting to sell the whole Outfit.
AOT cosmetics are treated the same way as Feng's cosplay outfits or Felix's BSAA outfit, so again it's down to the license holder if they wish for them to be linked or not, the Crypt TV Birch outfit for Hag could have been locked as well, however it wasn't because the license holder allowed it to be mixable.
But why not changing the Shop so you have to buy the full outfit but letting the option to customize them afterwards?
Because being forced to buy the entire outfits for all of them is even less consumer friendly than what we have now, it's still better to have the option to choose if you want to buy certain pieces of cosmetics seperately from the entire set, even if it's not possible to do so for all cosmetic sets.

I don't think Licence Holders really have a Problem with unlinking cosmetics. For example look at the Attack on Titan Cosmetics. When the Licence Holders allow their characters to get changed so much that they are a Mix of their Licenced Anime Character and a DBD character I don't think they would have a Problem with for example Dwight only wearing the AoT-Pants.
Thing is, license holders differs from one another, some are more flexible than others, that's why some characters like Leatherface, Pinhead, Myers and Ghostface have mixable cosmetics while characters like Pyramid Head and every character from Resident evil have locked cosmetic, or a more extreme example like Freddy & Quentin, who both doesn't even have a single cosmetic to this day.
Licensed cosmetics would be no different in this regard really.

Good, i genuinely would rather be playing on those maps than play on any of the MacMillan, Autohaven or Coldwind maps altogether.

sorry that you didnt have that good of an experience, hopefully you find a twins player who plays a little nicer next time. not all twins players are like that, so you might run into someone who makes the game more fun for you. keep trying!
what other games do you play?
Currently switching between
- Team Fortress 2
- POSTAL 2
- Maid of Sker
- Amnesia: Rebirth
- Payday 2
- We Happy Few
- Killing Floor 1
- Meet Your Maker (Currently on break as i've already completed all there is to do and is just waiting for the next big content update to drop in June.)
- Deep Rock Galactic (Currently a break until Season 4 releases in June.)
- The occasional replaying of games that i've already completed 100% of achievement wise.
-
It's the same old for me, having fun in dbd like always while also playing a few other games.
Also your determination for posting positive threads deserve some credit, it's rather refreshing.

True, but how would that work? You know, you have no body and whatnot.
Simple.
You fly around on the map and possess Survivors to turn them into deadites for a limited time, which would be who you control as the physical killer to hook the other Survivors with, i don't know what power a possessed Survivor would have if they should have any.
Survivors would then have some type of gameplay mechanic that they can use to return back to normal while possessed, similar to how Ash is able to return to normal in ED2, of course what the mechanic is and how fast it can help turn Survivors back can be adjusted and balanced so it's not too easy and fast nor too hard and slow.
Last Survivor could be allowed to be eliminated by either self-hooking or self-mori when possessed.
You could also include the necronomicon which could function similar to the lament configuration, where it's a one time use that helps either the Survivors or the Killer depending on who finds it first. Once it's been used, it will fly to a new location on the map without anyone being able to see it's aura.
-
I'd rather have The Kandarian Demon as the Killer than Henrietta.
-
Yeah no, instead of buying new music, what i want instead is just a free option that let's me switch back and forth between the following and only the following.
- Default Killer chase music
- Every previous version of a killer's custom chase music
- Killer's current custom chase music
The track you select for a killer would then be client sided for both when playing as the Killer and when playing against said killer.
(and hopefully i can finally be free from hearing Wesker and Legion's chase music.)

Do you still get scared by horror movies you've watched 5+ times already?
Same argument can be applied to any horror game as well after playing one for long enough.

I'll let you remove the hat when you pry it from my cold dead hands.
-
Been here since beta and i plan to see this game through to the end no matter what.
-
Given that Jason is under the Warner Bros umbrella like Freddy is and the lawsuit has ended over a year ago or so now, i'm giving it a 50/50 chance, maybe less.
-
I hope they don't bring in anymore actors and just keep Nic Cage as a one time only thing, also i'm pretty sure they're not gonna start bringing in actors left and right due to the potential risk of people doing something stupid later down the line.
-
It's probably not my kind of game judging by the gameplay footage.
Also it looks about as scary as dbd and friday does after playing them long enough, which is not really.
-
I find it handy to have on me in case i need it.
-
I gave up on Leatherface getting any chase music after his and Billy's rework.
But if he does get one at some point, i hope it's repetitive like the previous Killer's chase music.

one doesn't have to deny the other. We can have new maps added, but from the existing realm. Like with Red Forest. Plague and Huntress ain't even connected in the lore, and yet they share a realm with their maps. Adding a map to a realm would only lower the chance of getting a specific map through an offering
I'm not a fan of realms having multiple map variants, especially not when it's up to something like 5 variants that each takes up some of the % from other realms to be picked, while realms with only 1 map also takes up some % from other realms to be picked, at least you know what you're getting from the realm and it's completely different from other realms.
I still hate that Temple of Purgation was placed in Red Forest instead of getting a unique realm closer to that of Eyrie, likewise to that of Clown's map being on Nurse's realm rather than having his own Circus map.
We're also missing a map for Trickster, Twins, Blight and every remaining licensed killer, they deserve their own realm and not just have them be given some old realm because it was easier to do.
-
Nah, i rather have newer maps over expanding older realms with more maps.

Can you clarify the second point?
I did not understand
Basically, when a Drone has gone into rotation mode and a Survivor hacks it, the Survivor recieves the tracker which in turn slightly increases the speed of the SM, i'd also include slight increase of interaction speed per tracker as well.
While the tracker is active, SM will now be unable put down another drone until the tracker has either been destroyed by downing the Survivor or it's duration has run out. I'd probably also give Survivors with trackers on the Oblivious Status Effect too.
-
Here's what i'd do
- Drones that exposes a Survivor loses it detection radius and will instead solely follow after the first or closest Survivor it has marked (incase more Survivors got marked at the same time) for the duration of the Exposed Status Effect, during this period it cannot be hacked and it returns to the SM once the Exposed duration ends in any way.
- Drones that get hacked causes a cooldown before SM can put another one down.
- Giving SM remote control over her drones where it switch the FOV from SM over the drones, where you can move around with them and mark people, Survivors who gets marked by a drone while remote controlled has their aura shown for a few seconds to the SM.
- Drones can no longer detect through multiple floors.
-
Here's what i'd do.
Trapper: Trapper will not start with all his traps, however traps now spawns near loops and pallets instead of being spread out in random locations at the start of the trial. Also traps would also cause the Deep Wound Status Effect for Survivors who steps in them by default.
Wraith: I think at best i'd just give him a slight addon rework as well as slightly increasing is decloak lunge and make him move slightly faster.
Hillbilly: Overheat can stay. in fact, if Hillbilly is camping a Survivor within a proximity without chasing another Survivor and is revving his saw, then the overheat the saw gains should increase faster as well as being unable to lose said heat gained until leaving the hooked Survivor. Never do i want to see Old Billy again nor his old addons.
Nurse: I'd remove her ability to blink through objects on second blink.
Shape: QOL pass for his addons and make Boyfriend's Memo basekit.
Hag: QOL pass for her addons maybe.
Doctor: If Static Blast is on cooldown, it can be slightly decreased everytime a Survivor enters a madness tier from Shock Therapy.
Huntress: I don't think Huntress really needs anything except perhaps slightly faster basekit locker reloading speed.
Cannibal: Same thing here as i gave Hillbilly, camping a Survivor within a certain proximity without chasing another Survivor = faster overheating and no loss of the heat gained until leaving the proximity of the Survivor on the hook.
Freddy: I'd rework his addons mostly and decrease his teleport cooldown at the start of the trial. Maybe even give him things like dream breakable walls or dream totems that can be used as hex totems as well. Old Freddy can stay dead and gone.
Pig: QOL pass for her addons and maybe make a few of them part of basekit.
-
I guess it's fine to slightly increase the number of winners, better that than getting any of the cosmetics from dbd mobile.
Although i would still prefer only a handful of fanmade cosmetics came into the game.
-
They should extend it to also give Survivors custom animations during the start of the trial when the camera is spinning, similar to how newer killers all have unique starting animation already.
-
Problem here already with your suggestion is that the likeness for those actors and the characters those 3 actors play are two completely different and seperate licenses.
If they're getting an actor as a character into the game, they're not gonna add any of the clothing the actors wore as their characters since they don't own those and any studios involved ain't gonna suddenly be included within the contract that was already established between bhvr and the actors themselves, just like how they can't just give an actor's Survivor a bunch of cosmetic collections from a different IP later on that isn't within the contract between bhvr and the actor only.
Same deal with Nicolas Cage, you will only see original outfits from him and nothing from any of his movies since he doesn't own those and they can't just suddenly include another company in the contract to suddenly give him clothing from his movies.
So if we're gonna get American Horror Story in dbd, the contract must be made between all 3 parties within same deal, it cannot be acquired seperately first and then included in some future dlc without an entirely new contract seperate from the original one.
-
They already said it is all part of a larger update and that it won't be released until the entirety of it is ready, so it can be released as a whole package.
The purpose of the ptb testing for those two features was for getting early feedback on them specifically and i guarantee you that the iterations of it that was tested back during the ptb won't be the same when they do end up releasing the final version of it.
-
My time getting the achievement was time consuming more than anything else.
Any pain and suffering along the way was something i came to embrace.

Yeah, some players suggest removing her lullaby entirely, but that would actually make her deceptively strong. It's not like Wraith where she has a lengthy/slow uncloak. She'd just show up, and get free hits. Constantly, with almost no counterplay since she's relatively quiet too.
The problem with giving her a global lullaby is that she'd curbstomp noobs even harder than she already does. Keep in mind she has pretty high killrate already. But, if she we keep her lullaby, her stealth remains worthless against decent survivors. It's a bit of a dilemma.
For me, it's more about the fact that her lullaby is something that fits thematically for her character overall, removing it feels like it would take away from that which i honestly don't want.
I still think giving her map wide lullaby is the right call or at least the better choice between removing it or keeping it, as for curbstomp noobs, you could maybe give it some restrictions as to when it shouldn't play (e.g. perhaps when Sadako is chasing someone or carrying someone.)
-
I still think the best solution is to just overall make the lullaby map wide whenever she's demanifested rather than outright removing it like a good number of people have suggested.
-
I thought Spiral Knights could no longer be played.
