Realistically speaking, the odds of anything Stephen King related getting added is less than negative.
There hasn't been a single piece of video game content of his work in the last 2½ decades, and even companies like Warner Bros who has done movie adaptations of his stories, haven't done anything video game related to IT either, not even for their own games.

I'm surprised anyone even remembers Marble Hornets.

Agreed we are just theory crafting here. And i think we're talking at crossed purposes a bit. I'm not saying henry would be over or underpowered for 2v8. I'm saying his kit is mechanically difficult to adapt for 2v8, he has a very complicated basekit compared to most killers AND he introduces new map elements. This makes him difficult to add to 2v8. And judging by the killers bhvr have added, and explicitly avoided killers who do add new map elements (except nemi and wesker who they amlagated.
This evidence points to the fact it's unlikely they'll invest so much effort to add him to 2v8. Don't get me wrong, I'd live to see him added to 2v8. I just don't think it'll happen.
Which again, i don't agree with Henry being that mechanically difficult or that he'll be difficult to add to 2v8. Plus bhvr have stated outright that while Killers with World VFX takes longer to do due to things like how two different VFX interacts with one another and which one priorities first over the other, they're not impossible to add and is why some fan favorites aren't in the game mode yet.
Frankly, we're going in circles at this point, as we're mainly just repeating the same arguments without either of us compromising, so i'm just gonna agree to disagree and move on now.

Have you read her Tome too? 😁
Maybe if the game made it more clear to tell people that the tomes even exist in the first place, and made it easier to find and read, more people would.
Especially when the characters' archive lores are all scattered between all the different tomes, that people have to actively search through to find more stories about each character respectively.
It also doesn't help that even the base lores are all hidden away and can only be accessed in the cosmetic store, instead of being accessable from the character menu via an information button, like there used to be back in the day.

So when i come up with a point I'm just "assuming" and yours are supposed to be taken as read?
You're basically saying "I want this killer so it should happen" and "it'll be easy to implement" without really any backup argument other than your say so.
I am very familiar with how henry's power works, and with the balance of 2v8. And he would straight up be an issue. Every killer that is put into 2v8 has to be rebalanced to fit that mode and that takes a lot of work. Currently none of the killers in 2v8 have a particularly complicated power, because it makes them easier to add to the mode. Henry's has a lot of variables to balance and that would not be easy to do, and if it was done badly then it would cause massive complaints. I doubt they want to try to add then have to remove or massively rebalance another killer.
So when i come up with a point I'm just "assuming" and yours are supposed to be taken as read?
You're basically saying "I want this killer so it should happen" and "it'll be easy to implement" without really any backup argument other than your say so.
First off: You're the one who's acting like you're factually correct, with the way you're phrasing your arguments. Everything i've said in relation to Henry in 2v8 is based purely off what i know and think about Henry and his gameplay and current balance in 1v4. If what i'm saying was supposed to be taken as read, i wouldn't be using words like ''I don't agree'' or ''I believe'' or ''I feel like'' when talking about it.
Secondly: I too am very familiar with Henry's power, but here's the thing, it doesn't matter if we are or not. Unless we can actually test him in a 2v8 environment, we cannot know with certainty how strong Henry will be there in practice. We cannot rely entirely on his strength in 1v4, because the balance is different from 2v8. The only one who can know for certain is bhvr, because they're the ones who actually have to implement and balance him for the game mode. So they're the only ones who can truly speak to how hard or easy he'll be for them to balance, and if he'll be an issue or not.

Tbf I've seen almost no Blights and few Nurses this 2v8, and they were probably pretty simple to add. Again, I'd love to have Henry, I've been maining him since he came out, but I get why they wouldn't want to deal with the issues of getting him right just for very few people to play him. They'd be better off adding simpler killers, like Clown or Dredge.
I also agree with what Wildcard said about the aura read. I wouldn't want him added just to be hated or removed either, because the aura would go hard on him.
A quarter of all my 2v8 matches in this iteration has been Blights.
I think more people would play Henry in 2v8 compared to either Blight & Nurse, as he's comparatively easier to get into than either of the latter, as his skill expression comes entirely from how good people can predict Survivors' movements with him, rather than being mechanically skill expressive.
Henry's counterplay is also more straight forward compared to that of Nurse & Blight, and while he's strong, he's not top tier levels of strong and if anything, i'd say Henry would need a slight buff, since Escapist's sprint burst on command is absolutely gonna hurt him, as he has no way of effectively catching up to Survivors that are on the run.
The aura reading is also not really that big of a deal, as it's just a few seconds when either a gen is completed or when kicking a generator, depending on which role you and your Killer partner uses. Plus he's entirely LoS reliant as it is.
I genuinely don't think Henry is that big of a problem to implement, and if anything, i feel like you might be overestimating how good he'll be in 2v8. I also don't think he'll be removed, as Nurse and Blight is still in 2v8.

Plus, even if they nerf him, a really skilled Henry player can still get plenty of value out of him.
This is sort of against the point of 2v8. It's casual mode. Killers generally get buffs, not nerfs. You have people trying a killer for the first time, or people duoing up who rarely play killer otherwise. If he's only good enough for mains then you won't see him hardly at all. He's already dropped off heavily for still being the most recent killer.

I don't believe he needs to be nerfed, i was just saying in case he ever was, that people who practice him or already knows how to play him can still get value out of him despite the nerf.

It's an exponential problem. The 2v8 maps already feel cluttered when playing with wesker/nemesis. 2 separate sets of killer items would start to get ridiculous. Plus we don't know if there are any hardware issues with it.
And adding hard to balance killers requires much more work and bhvr have to measure that work, which would cost money and take away from other projects like new chapters, cosmetics and balancing updates, against how beneficial the change would be. And leaving individual killers out of the 2v8 roster isn't really a huge problem. Noone is going to quit the game because freddy or vecna or whoever didn't gamet added to 2v8.
And henry's basekit would be hard to balance for 2v8 despite what you say. Every killer added to 2v8 has been changed for it. And henry's basekit is complicated to say the least. Heck they had to retrospectively remove legion from 2v8 because they made a massive balls up by putting legion in 2v8 in the first place. I don't see them putting in that amount of work to then get massive complaints because he's in worldbreaker almost constantly and getting loads of easy hits off the constant aura read.

Subjective.
Plus we don't know if there are any hardware issues with it.
If hardware issues was a thing on a Killer, then the issue would also be present in 1v4 for them to some degree as well.
Plus, then it's bhvr's job to fix said hardware issue.
And adding hard to balance killers requires much more work and bhvr have to measure that work, which would cost money and take away from other projects like new chapters, cosmetics and balancing updates, against how beneficial the change would be.
Everything cost money to do, and you don't really know for sure if Henry is going to be hard to balance or not, you only assume so.
I'd rather bhvr add him and then remove him later if needed.
And leaving individual killers out of the 2v8 roster isn't really a huge problem. Noone is going to quit the game because freddy or vecna or whoever didn't gamet added to 2v8.
Maybe, maybe not, i do know however that it will cause disappointment to have any 2v8 fantasies be denied.
And henry's basekit would be hard to balance for 2v8 despite what you say. Every killer added to 2v8 has been changed for it. And henry's basekit is complicated to say the least.
Again, you only assume it'll be hard to balance. I don't agree that it is, despite the complexity of his kit.
Heck they had to retrospectively remove legion from 2v8 because they made a massive balls up by putting legion in 2v8 in the first place.
I mean, people didn't like Legion in the first place due to the whole applying Deep Wound. and Killers like Legion & Knight have less skill expression about their powers, compared to Killers like First, Blight & Nurse.
Also there's a difference between a hard Killer and a annoying Killer. Plus, unlike Legion, Henry has no way of actually catching up to Survivors, which is why Sprint Burst is effective against him. Honestly if anything, i believe Henry don't really need much adjustment for 2v8 since his kit is already decently balanced enough. Maybe a slighty buff at most, but that's about it.
I don't see them putting in that amount of work to then get massive complaints because he's in worldbreaker almost constantly and getting loads of easy hits off the constant aura read.
The aura read is not constant, it's only when either a generator is complete or when kicking a generator, depending on which class he or his Killer partner uses.
Plus, he still dependant on LoS and he's gotta predict Survivors' movement to actually get a hit to begin with. He's closer to that of Nurse & Blight in terms of skill expression, and those two Killers are still in 2v8 despite complaints about them even before 2v8.
I also feel like you overestimate Henry's powers. He's strong in the right hands yes, but he's got a pretty clear counterplay and he's not Nurse or Blight levels of strong, and they, again, are still in 2v8.

I think it's more about how much they can put in the map. Currently the only killers that add interactable objects to the map are nemesis and wesker, and they had to almagamate them if they're both in a trial. If you have henry and wesker or nemi in the same trial you need 2 sets of static item spawns, plus the extra chests and the tonics.
Also I think henry's base kit would be very difficult to balance for 2v8. Double the number of survs causes big issues when it come to adding tokens on individual survivors, like 4 tokens per person would be hard to reach for his mini mori with so many survs to deal with. Does it get dropped to 3? They'd need to look at worldbreaker itself too, 2 hits would be much easier to manage with so many survivors knocking about so he'd be almost constantly in worldbreaker mode.
Don't get me wrong, i really want to see him in 2v8. But i recognise he'd be a difficult killer to add and balance.
Then bhvr needs to increase the amount of Killer items that can spawn on a map, something which shouldn't be too hard to do since they've already increased the size of the maps in 2v8. Plus a quarter of the Killer roster have interactable items, they kinda have to do it, if they want them added.
I don't believe Henry's kit would be difficult to balance. Imo, the only thing bhvr really needs to focus on, is the stats related to Vine attack and Undergate Attack. The mini-mori itself is irrelevant in relation to his balance in 2v8, and the tokens required to start Worldbreaker feels like it is relatively simple to deal with.
Plus, even if they nerf him, a really skilled Henry player can still get plenty of value out of him.

yes that's what I'm saying, they would have to go and change it to only do show it on original maps which would require a lot more effort to go back and edit, while not breaking it so it somehow appears outside of Worldbreaker. It's that effort that is the issue, probably why if it was their decision that they didn't go through with it.
It would be a lot more difficult than with Dracula's castle which is a static model in each map it can spawn - for the mind flayer they would have to go and make a custom skybox that displays during Worldbreaker for each map to position it somewhere noticable and worth the time adding it, which they might not see as a good way to spend resources.
That's a cop-out and i honestly don't buy it for a second as the reason behind why bhvr wouldn't do it.
Something being hard isn't a reason for why a studio won't just do it. Certain things might take longer, especially if the studio lacks the technology to accomplish a task, but they won't just straight up abandon it or just not do it. Plus, bhvr have talked about things they couldn't do in the past, exactly because they didn't have the technology to do it at the time, but returned to it later on down the line when they did get said technology, and got it done. The rig for Xenomorph's model when in crawler mode & Xeno's tunnels in general, are both examples of such that bhvr have talked about previous during the Alien chapter.
Also when i say it was a creative choice, i'm referring to it being more in relation to that of a narrative decision, since The Mind Flayer isn't in The Entity's Realm.

probably an idea declined by Netflix, or they weren't interested in adjusting the Worldbreaker filter to only have the mind flayer on original maps due to possible conflicts with other licence holders (New Line might not want it on Badham if it isn't an actual function of the power and instead merely aesthetic), still a shame though
Except there wouldn't really be any conflict with any other license holders, when it's for original maps & Hawkin's Lab only.
If anything, it feels more like a creative choice on bhvr's part to not include the Mind Flayer.

Yeah that would be cool. It's a real shame that The First would be so difficult to add to 2v8.
Having him and a demo running around chasing a full team of ST survivors would be such a vibe.
I don't agree on it being so difficult to bring in ST Vecna, while some interactable items are harder to implement than others, they are ultimately not anything near impossible to actually include.
Vecna's Grandfather clocks gets used very quickly by Survivors in 1v4 anyway, it wouldn't make the biggest difference in 2v8. So if anything, it would actually be relatively easy to add him.

forgive me if I'm wrong but I thought BHVR excuse for not having p100 cosmetics in the game is because they didn't want people to feel like they missed out. I remember people joking on that response while they had limited time cosmetics in the shop.
That was earlier on, they later talked on reddit and also the forums about it again. I remember Mandy specifically talking about how people should lower their expectations when it comes to the rewards.

It’s good to see someone responding to this thread, but I can already tell there’s no point in continuing this discussion with you, because the only subjective opinions here are yours. The arguments I’ve presented are based on things that are clearly visible in the game. These are facts, not made-up claims. Meanwhile, your replies don’t provide any real justification or evidence to support your points
Let me guess, you must be the buddy that OP made this thread with, judging by the fact that you opened a brand new account just to respond here.
Me telling you that expecting cosmetics for P100 as a reward is an unrealistic expectation isn't an opinion. I know for a fact that it is, because everyone was talking about it back when it got teased, and bhvr themselves talked about how it wasn't going to be cosmetics due to being unable to streamline it, and that people should temper their expectations. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it's wrong.
Also saying stuff like Ghoul or licenses ruining the game's atmosphere is very much nothing more than just an opinion, and one that i know many people who would disagree with you on.

So let me get this straight: a colorful ghoul that has almost nothing to do with horror, along with licensed content that completely ruins the game’s atmosphere, is supposed to be a good thing?
The fact that licensed characters are treated much better than the original ones only suggests that the developers care more about making money than about how the game is actually received by the community.
When it comes to voice lines, it’s also worth mentioning that you can count on one hand the number of licensed characters who are voiced by their original actors.
The prestige rewards are another example of this. Ever since the prestige system was changed, players have been asking for proper rewards for reaching P100 because of the huge amount of time and Bloodpoints it takes to get there. Giving players a few barely noticeable icons as a reward feels like a slap in the face.
It seems like these rewards were added only to silence the criticism. That way, whenever someone says there were supposed to be prestige rewards, the developers can claim that, technically, they did add them.
So let me get this straight: a colorful ghoul that has almost nothing to do with horror, along with licensed content that completely ruins the game’s atmosphere, is supposed to be a good thing?
I never said Ghoul's inclusion was good or bad, in fact i've never even talked about him.
I've said certain things are purely subjective, which something like claiming that licensed content ruins the game's atmosphere is.
Also, Tokyo Ghoul falls under dark fantasy, which is the same as fantasy horror.
When it comes to voice lines, it’s also worth mentioning that you can count on one hand the number of licensed characters who are voiced by their original actors.
Probably because voicelines in general didn't become a thing until Ash Williams, and that they've slowly expanded the scope of voicelines over the years, and only recently begun to make it a regular thing.
It doesn't change my point about it however.

Call it a slap in the face if you will, it doesn't change the fact that expecting something that can't be streamlined as a reward, was always going to be an unrealistic expectation to have. Hell, P100 rewards was never something bhvr wanted to do, they only did it because the community kept asking for it.
Also it's not really that hard to reach P100, especially when more often than not, there's some kind of bloodpoint multiplier enabled, be it either via offerings or events.

This shouldn't be the main reason to not give us anything because of license. To be honest licensed characters are treated better than their own original. And as I understand your reason for saying that about licensed characters, I don't understand the thing with original ones. It's obvious that they cannot do whatever they want with their license, but they can give more love to their own ideas. For example Nicolas Cage has a lot of different voice lines, right? What about Lee Yun Jin who was left behind with none of them even when last chapter release was perfect opportunity for them… There's plenty of things they could give us or change for pleasure of playing. So this list was supposed to show problems and new ideas.
This shouldn't be the main reason to not give us anything because of license.
It's reason enough to not give characters things like cosmetics for prestige rewards, if they cannot streamline it to everyone.
Also comparing famous licensed characters to original character is like comparing apples to oranges.
bhvr is obviously gonna get as many voicelines from licensed characters' original actors as possible, because it helps sell the licensed chapters better, due to it being part of the licenses' brand recognizability. Giving new voicelines to original Survivors is nice and all, but it doesn't carry the same weight & impact. It's the same reason why licensed characters without their original voice actors, don't have the same amount of voicelines, compared to those that do.
If bhvr ever goes back to bringing original characters up to date, it's going to be on their to-do bucket list, rather than it being a top priority.
So this list was supposed to show problems and new ideas.
Doesn't change that some of these ideas are again, either unrealistic, unhealthy or purely subjective.
The better P100 reward is just one example of such.

”Gothic Horror”
You can really tell who has played Castlevania and who is just repeating google AI. There is nothing horror about Castlevania.
First off, i didn't use google AI for that, i looked up different sites that talks about Castlevania.
Secondly, anyone with eyes can tell you that the aesthetics, enemies and setting of Castlevania are all horror-focused and inspired by primarily gothic horror. Hell, the main antagonist is literally ######### Dracula of all horror characters. Plus there is such a thing as action horror.
You are objectively wrong and it's no wonder that people are downvoting you, when you're clearly arguing in bad faith.

If it's DBD characters in Mortal Kombat? Sure.
If it's the other way around? Then no.
In fact, i don't believe any fighting game characters can be translated properly into a game like DBD gameplay-wise, that both works within the game's limitations, and respects the character's portrayal in their source material.

I'm actually getting downvoted for saying Castlevania isn't a horror game when the game itself is labeled as an Adventurer/2D platformer. That's literally what it says on the digital stores lol. Like I said, it's just bias against Star Wars. I don't even like Star Wars, but if you're gonna accept Castlevania and Tomb Raider then don't try to gatekeep Star Wars. DnD is literally in this game for goodness sake.
Castlevania as a franchise is classified as gothic horror. Something not excluded from the 2D games in the series, since those are also horror theme'd.
D&D is literally whatever people want it to be. It's a tool for storytelling, which people can use to tell any kind of story, within any genre, which includes horror.
People are allowed to not want Star Wars in the game if they don't want it. This isn't a black and white ''If you accept one thing, you must accept everything'' kind of thing.

Hi.
Yes I used help of chat Gemini to create this "project" as I called it before… but there is a simple reason for that, the language barrier. English isn't our first language so it's pretty obvious that we needed a little help so all of the community could understand what we were trying to say in any of those points written in thread.
Also when you say those problems which we mentioned before are subjective or unrealistic I cannot agree with you. This game has a lot of problems and we know that for so many years right now. Some of those were already taken care of but the rest is still waiting. I spent a lot of time with DBD and in my personal opinion this game need a little help to work better, but not only me because a lot of people in the community thinks the same. Not everything is unrealistic because there was a lot of solutions which didn't came to game even if it was a brilliant ideas. So we bringed everything in one place to get it clear.
Problems-Issues-Solutions…
I said some of them, because there are specific ones listed on here that are very much either unhealthy, unrealistic or entirely subjective.
One glaring example of something completely unrealistic is cosmetics as P100 rewards, simply because of the very existence of licensed characters prevents bhvr from streamlining it to every character.
Even with the character portrait badges we have now as prestige rewards, some licensed characters like Freddy, Ghoul, Springtrap, Michael Myers, Leatherface, Pinead, etc, don't have custom portraits like the rest and instead just reuses images of their in-game models, because bhvr can't give them their own uniquely drawn portraits due to the license holders not allowing them to do so.
-
This whole thread reads like something written by ChatGPT.
Also some of these things mentioned are either entirely subjective, or entirely unrealistic and will never happen.
-
The fact that there is a noticable portion of people who are more interested in bringing in non-horror pop culture IPs over getting more actual horror IPs, outside of the same top 5 most requested mainstream horror IPs, is honestly just kinda depressing and tells me that the playerbase doesn't really consist of that many horror fans to begin with.
For a game that wants to be the ''Hall of Fame of Horror'', bhvr should be focusing more on bringing in horror IPs outside of the big name ones. There's still plenty of horror cult classic IPs, indie horror IPs and modern horror IPs out there, who deserve a spot in the game more than any non-horror IPs ever will.
Every chapter so far has all been either horror, horror-connected or horror-adjacent, with the only exception being Tomb Raider, and even then, Lara fits the Survivor role, as she embodies the "ultimate survivor" archetype
I'll be severely disappointed, if the day ever comes, where DBD becomes fully like Fortnite & COD, and bhvr completely ditches the consistency of keeping chapters horror related to some level, be it directly horror or horror-adjacent, and instead start adding literally anything from any genre, without rhyme or reason.
All of which to say, i don't really want any mainline characters and stuff from non-horror IPs such as Star Wars, The Boys, Invincible, Marvel, DC Comics, etc. And if we ever were to get something from those IPs, the least bhvr can do is make them as horror as possible, but just in general, i'm not a fan of the idea of giving any non-horror IPs a chapter of their own.

I get it. But givin BHVRs track record they may feel The Tall-Man is too niche. Might regulate him to a skin. The twins would fit.
I 100% agree though. A phantasm chapter with Mike and Reggie as survivors. Funeral Home Mausoleum map. The dwarfs etc... that would be amazing. Perhaps the dimensional forks to move around.
Except for the fact that with the way Victor moves by jumping, it wouldn't fit for a sentinel. Even someone like Skull Merchant would be a bad fit, despite also having drones. None of the killers really fit The Tall Man in any real way.
Also, the Dimensional Forks is arguably much more important to the character than the Sentinels and Lurkers are, since it's one of- if not the most defining aspect of his character, since it's directly related to his whole dimensional travel shtick and is how he's moving his zombie army around.
I repeat, if bhvr isn't gonna give me a Phantasm chapter, then they might as well not give it to me at all. It'd be way less disappointing to me, compared to the alternative of reducing the OG Slenderman and actual cult classic icon into that of just a skin.
In fact, the very thought of the idea lowkey honestly pisses me off slightly. I don't think that i would ever forgive bhvr for committing such egregious squandering of a cult icon.

The Tall Man from Phantasm would translate perfectly into Dead by Daylight as a Legendary skin for The Twins. Charlotte becomes The Tall Man, while Victor is replaced by a Sentinel Sphere. Hovering at his side, deploying with mechanical precision, and extending its iconic blades during pounce attacks. This preserves the Twins’ gameplay while delivering a completely unique visual and atmospheric experience, bringing cosmic horror into the Fog in a way no other killer currently does.
No. Just no.
This is my most wanted Killer and The Tall Man has so many aspects that can be adapted and utilized as his power. Literally everything from his Lurker & Graver minions, Sentinel Spheres and Dimensional Forks is there to be used, and for him to just be relegated to that of a skin for a Killer that barely anyone plays, would be nothing short of a gigantic waste of potential, in every sense of the word.
Anything less than his own chapter is a straight up complete and total deal breaker for me. If i cannot have him as his own character, then i don't want him at all.

If we consider all of what you just said, then BHVR should have just put the Skin to 1080 ACs instead of 1485 ACs. With 1080 ACs you would see way less complaints.
And I dont think that any of the previously ported Mobile Skins has the same rarity, so your arguments dont really fit. Because Ascended Rarity (or whatever it is called) for 1485 ACs should give more than Ultra Rare for 1080 ACs.
Except some of the existing ported skins either had unique vfx or animated parts to them on mobile. On core however, the skins that had one of those elements to them didn't retain them. (Clown's Scarecrow outfit, Oni's Tengu outfit, Sadako's flower outfit & Hillbilly's eye monster outfit specifically comes to mind.)
Even if they don't have the same rarity, it's still a reasonable and logical assumption to make that all skins from mobile would be treated the same regardless of it, based on the above.
Also the argument does fit now however, as now there is proof of what i'm saying, since they did treat the Trapper skin the same as the other mobile skins already in the game outside of the lobby, despite the Attack Titan skin being of higher rarity.

Yeah pretty much.
But I would say the Attack Titan Skin is even worse. I did not buy it, but even seeing it got me upset for several reasons:
- They are pure Ports from Mobile
- They are 3 Recolors which dont differ much from each other for the full price… IMO if you buy one, the others should drop to 1080 ACs
- The Skin is not worth the price tag of 1485, since it does not have enough unique features for it… No unique Mori, not even a unique Terror Radius (THIS is cheap!)
- And the worst part is - we have Naughty Bear who is the same price but features so much more
I dont blame anyone who buys the Skin because they like Trapper or Attack on Titan. But it is such a lazy work from BHVR that they dont deserve any bit of money for it. Even if the License Holders were against anything which would make the Skin unique (like new Chase music or a Mori), then BHVR should have put the Skin at 1080 ACs and not 1485.
I mean, it's not like the skin had any unique features on mobile either to begin with. I'm also not sure why you expected a unique terror radius, when none of the existing skins on core has such a feature in the first place.
Plus anyone who expected additional features from a mobile skin, regardless of if it had or didn't have any additional features on mobile in the first place, quite honestly set themselves up for disappointment. As every mobile skin ported into core are all treated the same regardless of rarity, with previous ported mobile skins being proof of it.

They don't need to negotiate with both parties as its licensing is handled by one company currently. So there is already agreement of joint custody. Behavior just needs to negotiate with that company that handles it and the main reason why its not possible to get now is because the other game has exclusive rights and that has been stated by even the other game company.
Lament GameCo. LLC is still ran by both Clive Barker and Park Avenue, as stated in the copyright text for the Hellraiser game. So yes, they still need to re-negotiate with both parties to bring Hellraiser back to DBD, regardless if they're under the same copyright umbrella now or not.

I'm gonna need to see proof of that.

They most likely can get it back after the exclusive rights expire that the Hellraiser: Revival game bought but as its not even yet released might take at least few years. I still don't get why companies think taking something away from one game will help them sell the other. Every time this game loses a license because of another game company wanting to get exclusive rights is not going to make me want to play that one.
Like even for the license holder it would be better to be able to sell the license to as many companies to use not make it exclusive to one at least in video game base as it now also means there is no way we are going to see any Hellraiser characters in games other than the one holding the exclusive rights.
Hellraiser left DBD because the license bhvr had for the first movie became null, after the copyright to Hellraiser 1 split between Clive Barker and Park Avenue. Nothing short of a complete re-negotiation with both parties will bring it back now, and those processes can take who knows how long.
The new Hellraiser game had nothing to do with it.

yeah, as someone who's major fixation is cof. absolutely terrible since cof and aom could've had amazing remasters and collabs (like op suggested here), but andreas had to get into a bunch of misplaced debauchery, 20 pages worth. that being said, i do wonder how the op's idea would work. while it'll never happen, the idea is fun to toy with
for cof, simon henriksson as the survivor and maybe book simon as the killer, if anyone. the other bosses in-game (purnell, carcass, mace, and sawer) don't hold as much meaning imo. maybe sawrunner could be the killer as well with his persistent and instakilling
for aom, survivor is david leatherhoff. he has even less enemies to work with than simon, so i think he would just be added alongside simon as another psyskallar collab character. while he does fight the addiction, twitchers, etc, none of them are really dbd killer material
I don't see it as being anything more than just that of a skin collab at most.

I hope it doesn't happen, since the creator is a groomer.

Sounds like you're just unlucky. Haven't seen anyone leave my lobbies, when i play as him so far.

Tae-Young and it's not even close for me.

In other words, you basically want a much worse version of Springtrap in every way pretty much in terms of gameplay, all just for the sake of the novelty of having him being 1:1 adaptation from FNAF 3.
Yeah no thanks.

If it ain't a Carpenter Brut crossover, then i don't want it.

As a long time fnaf fan I really don't know how you could get a more faithful adaptation of Springtrap. In all honesty I was on the edge about the axe but that been so engrained in Springtrap to the point where I do think it makes sense, it also has a really fun skill ceiling that I enjoy. At the end of the day Springtrap never really had a thing, he was just a guy with a knife, eternally trapped in a rabbit suit.
Not even a knife, he was entirely unarmed while wandering around trying to jumpscare the player in the FNAF games.
Also let's be real, stuff like a pizza knife and a fireaxe are both common things that can be found in places such as a pizzeria. One as a kitchen tool and the other as a emergency equipment. It wouldn't be hard nor unlikely for someone to get their hands on both.
The only thing i feel like Springtrap truly lacks is an incentive for Survivors to actively engage with the camera reveal system. One way to fix this is by having Springtrap gradually lose his terror radius, when not being revealed by a Survivor.

This map gives me RPD vibes, absolutely horrific gameplay design
- God windows

Large map with extremely strong loops and pallets. It's the next Badham.

pros:
- map is beautiful,
- map is different to what we've had before
cons:
- map too big, please cut in half, and make 2 different maps (one has the market, the other has the club)
- spaces are too tight/narrow, makes it difficult to use killer powers and go around the map, make spaces wider, make streets wider
- shack is strange/harder? to play, walls are too solid, create some transparency or holes somewhere across the walls so it feels better to play
The map only feels big because of how it's designed, however it's actually one of the more smaller maps in the game, as it falls within the same range size as Dead Dawg.

Sure. I think it really depends entirely on whether or not they represent the franchise. Full disclosure, were it up to me I'd go with the OG Big Daddy from the first Bioshock. Not unique or a named character, but about as representative of the franchise as it gets. Maybe a legendary skin that turns you into Subject Delta. I'd pick this over real big bads like Fontaine, for example.
Still at a loss as for what an Infinite chapter could do, though. None of the villains really work as killers in that game imo.The best approach for a BioShock chapter would be giving it the Silent Hill treatment imo. The most popular aspect selected across the franchise for each part of the chapter.
- Burial at Sea Elizabeth as the Survivor
- Big Daddy as a Killer from BioShock 1 and or Burial at Sea who attacks Elizabeth in it.
- Some location taken from BioShock 2 for a map.
Plus OP had the right idea in making both the good and evil version of Eleanor into a Survivor and Killer respectively for a sequel chapter, since it not only gives us more BioShock content, but it also doesn't relegate the potential of a Big Sister killer to just being a skin for Spirit or Skull Merchant, and it will potentially give us a full BioShock theme'd 2v8 as well.

I know nobody could really fit as killer as I was thinking more of just a survivor chapter with Booker and Elizabeth
I think Elizabeth would be the Survivor choice for the first BioShock chapter if we ever got one, since she's seemingly the most popular protagonist of the franchise.
