Minecraft, Not even being funny, Minecraft has been the game which has scared me more than any other. the unassuming and childlike nature of the game lower your expectations and so when a scare happens it carries much more weight than any horror game I've played.
Otherwise, Deadspace. Not as scary in terms of the action or monsters, but just the atmosphere through the whole game is so earie and creepy. I love it.

Huntress, Green addon,
Woodcutters Head. Fully wound hatchets can break destructible walls.
simple, yet nice

I don't have an issue with people expressing themselves. They're free to tell me how to play. Then they can lay their eyes on the fields where I grow the ######### I give, and they shall see those are barren.
I'm stealing your line about the fields...
anyway, as for op. I agree, being told how you should play is so petty. Fun is subjective and people need to realise that. I for example have fun playing with Insidious Bubba in basement. But get told "that's not how you play" and "you ruin other peoples experience" I'm playing for myself to have fun.

Instead of doing the camera pan around the killer at the start of the game, it should show a top down view of the map. cross sectioned if its indoor.
So you very swiftly have to choose your Hex location before the game actually starts, it'll show your 5 totem locations, and you click to light them. If you have multiple, for balance purposes, you cannot choose or know which hex is being placed.
If you decide not to choose your locations, they'll be decided at random obviously.
I love this idea. +1

basekit bloodwarden for all those survivors tbagging at exots gates. That'll teach 'em fast.
But in all seriousness, the only thing I can think of is disabling post game chat in your settings, as of right now. and for an improvement that could be added? I want to say have a sportsmanship system added like in Grand Turismo, where in game activities will influence wether the game sees you as toxic or sportsmanly. Should survivors be caught tbagging and flashlight clicking it could go down, where as simply playing the game, being altruistic etc would raise it. Add to that if you haven't disabled post game chat and find survivors being toxic af, report them as normal and upon review their sportsmanship will be lowered in accordance with the severity if their toxicity. As for killers, hitting people on hook and intentional slugging to draw the game out could be considered unsportsmanlike. Similar to Smite, post game you can commend players for being friendly or helpful however lock it to being able to commend somebody once per day, as so SWF dont go boosting each others rating after every game. Then just match players with like wise sportsmanship ratings. To top it off, add incentives like cosmetics, bloodpoints and iri shards for those who achieve high sportsmanship ratings.
that's my idea anyway. Otherwise, just disabling chat and ignoring the toxicity will suffice, most likely players will continue to be toxic as long they get a reaction. So just dont feed their need for attention and over time they should mellow out.

thank you for linking gods work 😌

if you unironically don't consider Calm Spirit a crutch then you cant play this game. clearly Calm Spirit is the most crutch perk in the off chance there is a Doctor, Clown, or Iron Maiden in play.

If I am sweating, then I am looking for a challenge, which is hard to find in pubs anyways. Also in red ranks there's no casual players, sure, they might not be good at the game, but if you play enough to be red ranks, can you be considered a casual?
Yes you can, because I'm a casual player and yet I get forced into red ranks by a flawed and forced rank system in which I get nothing but people like yourself. There are a lot of killers I'm sure who are in the same boat as me. Getting to red ranks isn't a matter of skill, but rather a matter of time. You will reach red ranks as killer without trying. But hey, if I'm in red ranks that means I should have an opinion right? by your logic. However I'm a casual, so I shouldn't get an opinion, also based on your logic.

having a colored circle with a number inside it barely means anything, it doesnt make the only gamemodes this game has competitive, nor does it make the matches hard whatsoever, the matches and players are still casual, even if theres a rank that mostly serves visual purposes.
I would edit my last comment but effort. Now to address what you just said. You realize the forced ranked system literally kills the casual player base right? it doesn't just "barely mean anything" I suppose you're the type of person who sweats it every game and ends up ruining the casual experience for others then having the audacity to call them bad.
-
"people who play pubs" what else can we play? Everybody is equally entitled to a say in the game we all play. Regardless of if they are right or wrong.
So the likes of old Ruin, vs good survivors as you would put it. Ruin didn't really make a difference, as good survivors could push through it, and hit their greats. However vs you casual player who plays on their off time would just get rofl stomped by killers running Ruin, lest they get rid of the totem early.
Old Ruin goes to show, just because you aren't a great player doesn't mean you shouldn't be entitled to balance.

A casual playlist of some kind is a good idea, or, to go one step further (because we all know the casual playlist will likely get abused), implement a prestige system so that players can reset their rank. It'd probably be a good idea to reset perks as well but maybe not to the point of having to re-acquire them at random in the Bloodweb, maybe just make them gradually available for purchase at certain Bloodweb levels. I'm sure the devs could think of a decent system for that but, honestly given the game's age, it's probably too late to do something like this. Prestige resets probably has a better chance of being possible as the current playerbase and numbers would not support an additional playlist that'll end up splitting up the players and causing even longer queue times than we already have. Plus, with Prestige resets, you can also implement more rewards to give the dedicated players even more stuff to strive for.
I get that splitting the player base wouldn't be the greatest idea right now, but it's also entirely possible that having the option to play the game in a casual environment would bring some people back. The inability to play casually is such a huge turn away.

all these comments, and not once did I see somebody recommend Save The Best For Last. Just an insane perk for M1 killers, can really come in super clutch vs bully squads or when you find the team trying to get that last gen done. Along with all the other random moments it will help.
Else, under rated perk for all Killers, Fire Up. Again, just a simply insane perk for the buffs it gives you, especially since once you get them, they're yours to keep. I don't see why you wouldn't consider running it either, considering that as Wraith your bound to lose a few gens without the lethality most other killers have over you.
Lastly, in a similar vain to Fire Up. I'm All Ears, specially with Wraiths enhanced kit for mind games vs a lot of other killers, the aura reading can be so nice on them blind loops to make a play or even maybe a counter play! I have had it come in very handy and helped me end chases a lot sooner than they otherwise would have.
They're my top three perks I'd recommend, and I should prolly mention its in order of preference from 1st to 3rd.

Fun fact: some people enjoy tunneling and camping, so people enjoy sitting crouched in basement with Pig. Like I've said in many posts, there are a lot of situations in this game where one side will enjoy something the other wont, so is the way with most pvp games.
I for one enjoy camping with Leatherface, why? because altruistic survivors come for the save and end up making me have lots of fun cutting them down. Do they like it? well my rage mail tells me no. Do I care? Not really, because that's how I like playing.
Just take the L and move on, how people play is how they play and the game design allows that, namely down to the fact that even mathematically speaking a camper should only ever get 2 kills at most. Providing you don't get blinded by Altruism, they should only get 1 kill. Which more or less means, they have lost the game.
-
the salt, it's immeasurable
edit: this is really funny, how dare a killer play the way he wants to XD
-
Calm Spirit, Lithe, Dance With Me and then whatever perk I feel like running, normally I just use Deliverence
-
Could've been daily, could've been how she lays, could've been she just wanted to move onto the next game. I for one don't like playing three man games, so I try end them asap to move on with my life.

A bug has happened in which you have more fov which would make you feel like you’re faster than usual.
iirc higher FoV has obviously shows you more in your surroundings as you move, giving the illusion of greater speed, since you see a lot more things going past you pretty fast.
-
tl;dr. But my thoughts are as such. Camping and tunneling are viable strats in the game, just because it may not be fun for the survivor, does not mean you shouldn't do it. realistically speaking, anything that opposes a survivors win could probably be considered unfun. So tunnel and camp to your hearts content.
Second, it's called Make Your Choice for a reason. Either get the person who's exposed, or get the person who's injured, both are one hit downs. So as the name suggests, make your choice.

The killer just prolly doesnt fully know how Thrilling works.

I can definitely say, every single game I play with console players goes badly. Statistically speaking, you are wrong. Player base was much smarter before Cross Play. But its all a coincidence, right?
Show me these statistics. I'd love to see them.

my No1 is Piggy's, it's such a quick and smooth animation, feelz so satisfying to preform. Followed closely by Huntress, because just when you think she's done, there's more.
-
my favourite build on my favourite killer has to be as follows:
Piggy: Knock Out, Thanataphobia, Ruin, Sloppy Butcher. Addons are Face Mask and Last Will.
Basically just slug master Pig, Knock Out + Face Mask make people really hard to find. Sloppy will make healing longer so a squad of WGLF will have a rougher time getting people up, and Ruin + Thanataphobia can slow the game down to a crawl. Really fun build and nets you a lot of salt.
Another build I really like is Basement Demogorgon which is as such:
Make Your Choice, Territorial, Ruin, STBFL. Add-ons can be either increased teleport speed or decreased cooldown, which ever tickles your fancy.
Territorial combined with Demo's innate detection through his portals give him a lot of info on the basement. Providing you put a portal at the top of basement stairs, it will make it very easy to see a survivor going for rescue, to then tp after the unhook and get the MYK proc'. STBFL will allow you to recover from the MYK very, very quickly and more often than not get the down on the person being rescued. And Ruin for obvious reasons.
-
well, all the textures you pointed are out are barely important to the flow of the game, and honestly them being downgraded makes the rest of the game run smoother, and also allow for better texturing on the more prominent features of the map.
-
Play her, and stick to her. There's not much theory to playing Nurse since she can negate most of everything in the game. One you learn to predict where they go and get the muscle memory on her tp you will slay. The issue comes in taking all that time to get good with her.
-
Aside from playing Oni instead, you should consider learning him without add-ons, to get a feel of his base kit, then work from there. It will be a lot harder to learn him if the way he feels keeps changing with add-ons.
-
lmfao, I respect that Bubba. Love the new meta strats XD
-
could be Borrowed Time, Mettle of Man, Med-kit Syringe, or you're just hitting them during i-frames off hook.

Fun fact: the platform people play on is not indicative of how good they are at the game.
If you have crossplay on, I would presume you have a much higher chance of getting average players from all platforms, giving you an average gaming experience with such matches thrown about here or there. Being really easy or hard. However given the posts I have seen on people who turn it off, without crossplay I would make the assumption you will be more likely to be thrown to either of the extremes, given that crossplay is disabled by really sweaty players, or by people who are bad and blame it on other platforms.
-
Alright, unpopular opinions? here we go:
1) Huntress Lullaby, and I'm All Ears are crutch perks.
2) Blood Lodge is a fun map.
3) Calm Spirit is op.
4) Camping is fun, and viable.
5) Face Mask is best Pig Add-On
-
I mean, are you really letting the toxicity get to you? you can just disable messages or if they're t-bagging and flashlight clicking and all about to escape, that's just a reason to keep playing and improve.
Personally I see toxic messages as super funny, cuz it shows how low of a person they are, going through such lengths to get some attention. When I get t-bagged, I just suck it up and move on. More often then not I get t-bagged when I have been playing poorly, so I don't mind. Alternatively they t-bag when they think they're insane and proceed to go down in 3 seconds and DC, which I think is peak comedy.
-
why else would I play this game? I get a lot of fun out of getting a challenge, getting laughs out of my misplays or survivors questionable moves, even when I come across some less than model players, I get a right laugh from the lengths they go to try tilt me :)
-
I doubt they will ever change any part of his kit back to how they were, but I agree in that I would like to see a bit of a change to the hitbox of his chainsaw at the very least. I find it feels very inconsistent right now, not quite on the level of say grabbing people, but not far off either. I've gotten many hits I feel I should not have got and vice versa.
-
Huntress Lullaby and Calm Spirit
-
if the match was canceled then nobody gets points, even if it says they do. Otherwise just take it and move on. Btw for future reference cover the names of the ppl that arent you
-
Play her, and stick to her. Experience is the best teacher on Nurse, no need to learn counter loops when you just tp through them.
-
David must suffer perpetual death and torment!
-
I get alot of reports for basement camping with Bubba, because nothing made me happier than getting salt from people who cant move on to the next one.
-
I've stopped playing since briefly before the release of Oni, namely because the game just got stale for me. I haven't been too thrilled with most new killers and obv survivors are just skins they never add any new mechanics outside of perks that you can get from shrine. Not to mention the rank mm still needs some work.
-
The fun of spirit is having a challenge. I really dont understand how you can have fun by purely steam rolling over people or what not. That's why I dontemjoy fighting most Wraiths or Clown; they just dont have great or intresting abilitys that actually challenge me in a PVP game.
-
Mori's make ppl like OP salty, so no I dont think Mori's should be changed.
-
but in that case you have to go under the assumption they have spine chill, and also in going diagonally you risk not seeing survivors leaving the gen. so yes there is a counter, but it does have a bit of a cost.
-
*takes out torch and pitchfork*
-
plz dont judge but... for sure the sound made by Piggy when a pallet is dropped on her.
-
Sure, tone down her add-ons a bit, or add some cooler effects. But do not for the love of god change her base kit, she is actually an easy killer to bully and hard to play. If only the survivors who played against her played with her too. She requires a good amount of awareness, skill, map knowledge and even some luck at times. Her being a 110% killer make her easy to bully if she cant use her power, and she doesn't have any ranged attacks either like huntress to make up for that. Alot of the people who complain about Spirit are the same people who fall for the standing still mind game two seconds after she leaves phase walk.
-
I've been reported countless times for camping and tunneling, cuz you know, their enjoyment is more important than my own obv. But easily the most idiotic piece of salt I got was when somebody reported me for using my fav build SlugMaster Piggy because obviously slugging is a form of holding the game hostage XD
-
I'm not the best for consistent posts, but hey I'll plug myself if I can, for the most part I rarely use items or add-ons in game, and a thinking of posting more videos. My YT is the same as on here just with a space. But ye, I dont realy like using add-ons cuz I fear I'll get too reliant on them.
