Its pretty tight between Wraith and Billy tbh, but I still think Billy has the upperhand

THIS? YOU LIKED THIS???

In terms of playing, Spirit. Since she still has to deal with certain loops, Nurse just ignores everything a survivor does.
There's a difference between hard to play, and hard to learn

If you need 4 gen defense perks with Freddy thats just asking for an easy time that's boring af to go against

oh yeah? but have you ever pulled off the legendary reverse chainsaw into Quentin hiding in a corner?
Didnt think so, buster

Franklins is on me though, I misread that perk. Still though, it's not very helpful considering how long it takes items to lose their charges. they get 1.5 to 2 entire minutes to go grab their stuff.
It really is helpful tho and can be a game changer, say a survivor brings in a med kit, they might not be able to fully heal with said med kit if they lost it to Franklins earlier in the match
-
Surge and Knockout I agree
Franklins doesn't signal to the survivor
Spirit Fury is 2 pallets at level 3
Blood Favor is just bad but honestly you didn't tackle to main issue of it having a cool down
Remember Me is still an alright perk, but I agree that the obsession thing doesn't make sense anymore since the nerf back in 2019

But the perk description says from injured and we all know that injured and deep wound are 2 different status, also it never stacked like that.
Yes it did, I know this since I regularly try to use Mettle + Soul Guard when Im messing around with friends
-
Thats most likely latency, but since you only showed this one clip and not the rest of the game to see if they did that consistently.
Also since theyre a 4 man swf with a TTV, I highly doubt they would be cheating when theyre being streamed

This is an ASYMMETRICAL game, obviously your fun will come at the costs of others
Thats true but thats not exclusive to asymmetrical games either, the minute you make a game where 2 sides have different objectives, this applies
The difference with DbD is you have 2 sides who are essentially playing 2 different games, and both can go out of their way to make the other miserable without being able to properly respond

Yeah let me go onto the call of duty or rainbow six siege forum and complain people are shooting at me lmfao.
If you play killer “nice” in this game…..
~the game where you are supposed to be a bloodthirsty serial killer serving a dark god~
…..I’m convinced you drive the speed limit in grand theft auto.
You cant compare CoD to DbD, they are 2 VERY different games.
In fact you cant really compare any game to DbD when it comes to this topic because DbD is asymmetrical, they are not many games out there where 2 teams are basically playing a different game in the same match.
-
Youre right, you dont need to follow some unwritten rules that people made up, after all you bought the game right?
Thing is, those people who youre being an ass to ALSO bought the game, and the majority of the time, people buy a game for 1 reason. They expect to have fun in said game.
If your fun comes at the cost of others theres a problem
-
Yes, real smart of you to blame people who have nothing to do with this

Winning is everything for most players in those ranks. That's why you rarely see unique/fun builds.
You dont see unique or fun builds no matter what rank you are, unless some one is newer to a killer then they run what they have at their disposal

Really? I recall people wanting knives to be a mending mechanic and main event to be able to be held and activated when the killer wants it.
Go back and see for yourself, a good chunk of people were saying to reduce knives from 8 to 6
-
"actually good changes to the Trickster that the community suggests to make him stronger but not so dumb to face."
Thats exactly what BHVR did, do you have any idea how many people were saying to reduce the amount of knives to damage? And now every one is complaining that they listened.
They just need to make him unique from the other range killers, either make piercing knives or ricochet knives built into his kit

How many matches do you have to win in a row for the whole "potato survivors" argument to fall apart?
Otz did 50, Ryuga did 20
If you desperatly need to look at competitive survivors to make Legion look weak, the same survivors that make 90% of the roster look weak then you aren't proving legion is weak, then you are proving survivors at their best are to strong. there is a difference
Legion isn't the strongest killer, but they certainly aren't weak. Anyone who calls them the weakest clearly has no idea what they are talking about. That includes some of those 1000 hour people out there. Having that many hours does not mean you know how the game works and you can't be wrong about things. Legion is the most underrated killer in the game
Ok so I played a few Legion matches, and I'm starting to think otherwise... The information Legion gets paired up with his delay and ability to quickly create dead zones...
this conversation definitely opened my eyes and I was pleasantly surprised

And I've seen people who have thousands of hours win game after game with Legion in red ranks.
Having thousands of hours don't automagically make you good at every single killer in the game.
In a game filled with 1v1 killers Legion being a 1v4 is very different and people just play them terribly.
They are far from the best, but they are far from the worst either
That said they could use some changes. But don't expect it to happen before other killers who desperatly need it more like trapper, myers or pig
Getting a bunch of wins in red ranks doesn't mean much since there are still tones of potatoes at red ranks, and while having thousands of hours doesn't make you good at every killer it gives you a pretty good idea of how viable something can be
I've also never seen some one properly tell me why Legion is as good as they are without showing such a specific or perfect example where all the cards need to be right for it to work.

Nothing too much outside of addons and some quality of life changes.
Legion isn't bad, people are bad at them. That you say they don't have a power when everyone is injured already tells me your playing them wrong
Changes i would like to see are
removing the power drain on a m1 hit, hell maybe even add power
Changing the addons frank's mixtape and stabwounds study
Make it so people with deep wounds can't interact with generators like madness tier 3 so they don't just go fixing gens before they mend
Maybe up their speed a little after every stab. Speedy Legion addons were fun
There are many people who've played him who have thousands of hours and as much as I hate to say it, Legion is weak af.
They have a hit and run playstyle. And that works with Wraith because he's able to become undetectable and sneak up on survivors.
Legion has a 32m Terror Radius (40m in Frenzy) which is just a big warning for survivors to GTFO if they're in an unsafe spot.
-
As a solo survivor, I usually die against Spirit because the majority of solo survivors are the equivalent of drooling blendettes in a corner who have no idea how to properly manage time
once in a blue moon tho I get actually good teammates and those matches are usually pretty interesting against any killer.
-
I mean, even in red ranks you still get the same potato teammates and killers. Ranks don't mean much in this game unfortunately

Well, I can share with you my idea for a Freddy rework, if you like:
Power: Dream Demon
Pull survivors into the Dream World
-Survivors who are awake do not see The Nightmare.
-Once targeted by The Nightmare’s power, survivors enter the Dream Transition for 7 seconds.
-The Nightmare’s Movement Speed Penalty for putting a survivor into the Dream Transition lasts for 1 second.
-During the Dream Transition Survivors can see The Nightmare intermittently and they suffer from the Incapacitated status effect.
-When the Dream Transition Lapse, the Survivor is pulled into the Dream World.
Once in the Dream World:
-Survivor’s auras are revealed to The Nightmare when they are outside of his terror radius.
-Survivors suffer an action speed penalty of 40%.
-To exit the Dream World, Survivors can find non-sleeping Survivors to perform a wake up action.
-Failed Generator Skill Checks can also wake up.
-Hooked Survivors wake up.
Special Ability: Dream Projection
-Teleport to a Generator in view. Releasing the button early will cancel the action.
-Survivors cannot interact with the targeted Generator.
-For each Survivor in the Dream World, the cool-down of using Dream Projection is reduced by stack-able 20%.
“You have nothing to worry about. This won’t hurt one… little… bit.” -Freddy Krueger
I also have add-ons, but that would make this post very long. Basically, it is a certain type of "mix" between his on-release power (which is different, and much better, than the Old Freddy that most of us know) and his new power.
Unfortunately I cannot test it myself, but I believe he would've been in a good spot if this change went through.
Hmmm Ill take note of a few of these ideas...
What would you think of Freddy becoming more powerful as the trial progresses? Kind of like a tier up mechanic?
-
Im working on writing a Freddy rework myself, similar to ones Ive already done, and I know you have a bit of experience with Freddy. Is there anything you recommend?
-
Play exactly the same, since the majority of survivors who do so are normally painfully average
-
Its not just black box that needs a rework
Its Freddy that needs a rework
-
Give it back the old requirement of needing to stand still to be quieter
Would this kill the perk? Yes, but a perk that completely gets rid of a killers method of tracking is dumb af as well
-

I feel like this makes him a bit overpowered (especially the wire and unnerving presence) but aside from that I really like these changes. If I had to change a few things about this it would be
-When a wire is placed on a gen it acts as a literal trap, holding a survivor in place when triggered for 10 seconds before triggering a difficult skill check, when this occurs their aura is revealed to the killer for as long as they remain trapped. Wires do not replenish however, and only have one use per generator.
-Traps no longer spawn randomly on the floor, instead they will be available in lockers.
-When the limit for traps able to be placed on the ground at once (10) is exceeded, traps will be disarmed in the order they were placed.
-When a survivor triggers a trap, they are unable to escape if injured, and require another player to free them.
-Unnerving Presence automatically damages a generator when it is within the killers terror radius, the generator with regress 10\7\5% slower than a manually damaged generator.
The whole point for the wires is to force survivors into a difficult decision, I dont want the wires to feel too oppressive but I didnt want them to feel weak either. (also with my itteration Deep Wounds works a bit differently, you can check out my Legion rework if you want to see how that works: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/254830/my-attempt-at-a-legion-rework.)
As for reloading at lockers, I wanted to some how add that but decided to make The Trapper switch modes instead to make him more unique, because the other killers who have to interact with lockers have to reload.
As for not being able to escape if they were injured.. this just wouldnt sound fun. With these reworks I aim to make the killer more viable but also still fun to verse, if you were forced to just sit there and your fate was in the hands of your solo q teammates... It wouldn't be too fun.
When it comes to Unnerving Presence, the identity of the perk is still there, and 20 seconds is a pretty long time. This is also meant for it to synergize well with other perks

As i said before, most solos are just bad for some reasons (bad teammates, 0 voice etc) but if she is facing with good swf team, Nurse will need good perks too.
Well of course, but the amount of times Ive ran into a SWF thats almost/is tourney squad level? Is VERY little, and its not like I don't have that many hours in this game

Why not? Solo queue survivors can still rush gens just like anyone else.
They can yes, but they lack one thing that makes SWF so strong. Communication.
A good Nurse, Blight or Spirit with q meta build against a solo q team is literally overkill

Without best perks, even Nurse will have hard time if survivors focus on gens. This is reality lol.
Against a solo q team, no, no she wont

I don’t think this game is supposed to be played at such a high level, very hard to balance it without making casuals suffer.
But it is something that the devs need to take in consideration. A person playing will only get better at the game

are you looking at his rank or devotion level? having that many P3 level 50 killers with a low level might seem suspicious yes.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2347474#Comment_2347474
Getting around a game mechanic and allowing something to happen that shouldn't as your posts suggest you put victor under and empty hook and put a survivor on it and were able to keep him there is an exploit. even if camping isn't a ban worthy offence the way it's being done is.
I'll sat it again. Doing something in a game that you're not supposed to be able to do to give yourself an advantage is considered exploit weather you think it is or not.
No, Im looking at player rank as these screenshots date back before levels and devotion were even a thing.
Not only was the grind a lot harsher back then, but pipping was also much easier as well.
-
Just by looking at some old screenshots of yours, you might of been banned for supposed save file hacking
Some of your early screenshots, you have P3 Level 50 killers but your rank stays VERY low.. Now I know that rank and leveling doesn't mean anything. But even the 2.0 blood web was very costly and that takes a lot of grinding.
Looks suspicious to me, but if you are truly innocent then try contacting support and hopefully you can get your account recovered

@Exxodus21 said:
The crybullies will never stop. They only see the game as a 1v1 and think every killer should be able to be looped for 5 gens.
They only see the game as a 1v1 because for some people the chase is the fun part and as a survivor its the most effective way to show off YOUR skill.
Spirit doesn't allow a survivor to show off how good they are, it allows them to show how lucky they are
-
Its think its way too complex for a killer power, I had to read it multiple times and even then there are still things I don't understand
I do like how you decided to add to Frenzy, I do believe that is the right path to go for any killer. Improve and make a keep a killers identity rather than completely change it
-
If its not hard, mod the game and do it yourself :)
-
hopefully more
(bhvr pls)
-
Trapper, Myers, Spirit, Legion, Twins and Freddy
-
It looks amazing, hands down the most detailed map in the game
Doesn't mean it plays amazing tho
