As much as I hated the perk yeah, its a bit rough. The main strength of Franklins imo were against medkits. 1 hit and basically no matter what you wouldnt be able to get a self heal, and if you had add ons to do so well now you only had one.
I think going back to the original version of Franklins where the item simply losed 10% of its charged upon being dropped in addition to existing effect would be nice

Anyone want to take a wild guess at what "Insomnia" is supposed to be? It's not wake up and the only perk I can think of that really interacts with clown bottles is maybe vigil but that interaction is so minor lol.
most definitely vigil

Lethal doesn't change the fact that both these killers spawned close enough to the survivors that they were able to hit before the 30 second mark into the game. What happens if we get unlucky into the exposed effect from the event off spawn? Cause I've gotten it before, that is a free hook less than a minute into the match. That is not even remotely okay.
These were the huntress' perks, no lethal.https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/Z5PWHCZ3GLKX/image.png
And this was the Dracula's; yes he had Lethal, that does not change the fact he spawned within 10 seconds of the survivors. He got his first hook 30 seconds into the game, after I cut the video off he hits the other sable again and hooks her. That is a full hook before it was even remotely possible to finish a generator.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/IXSUMCCN3NM8/image.png
There is no arguing that this is not okay.
Sounds more like an issue that your teammates are lasting as long as a juicy fruit in chase and not the spawn changes

Good, honestly, killer is an utter failure to what is otherwise a fun game. They should be refunding people and taking it back to the drawing board.
This is literally the only game I've seen with such caveman social features.guys i dont think he likes ghoul very much

Faced em' all. How ever I will always remember when I first started playing and finding out about the Hag (I started playing mid 2017, 2 weeks after Doc released)
At this point I had been watching a bunch of videos, had about 100 or so hours at the time, and I was looking through the wiki and saw The Hag... Now at this point I was pretty much just playing survivor, and I had never seen or even heard of her. So naturally I thought she was fake. (to add context, this was during a time where the shop didnt exist and if you didnt own the DLC, characters would just simply not show up on the character select screen)
It was then only after about a couple hundred hours that I finally went against her, then soon after I bought and played her. A game I remember fondly was me playing on Lery's as Hag and getting a triple mori. The game it self wasnt anything impressive, rather what happened afterwards. I logged on the next day, only to see all my progress was gone (a fairly common bug back in the day) and I didn't back up my save file. A true womp womp moment.
But god there was just something about watching a Hag taking roughly 7-10 business days to set up a trap, only for a Claudette to show up with an insta blind to blind you and burn the trap. Good times...

Never even thought about it on Vecna.. gonna have to try it out!

You don't see anything on the killer side, you can see them put it on the gen but that's it
just like how you can only see the lil smoke effect for gen compromising
-
@Rulebreaker said:
Question: does the kick effect from those perks stay on the gen?
As killer you used to be able to see the action of someone putting something on a gen (admittedly don't know if that's true ATM, haven't seen it lately) so if the effect doesn't stay then it's effectively equal.
Fairly positive its just that little smoke effect on the initial kick
so yea, its equal

@Chiky said:
same with that extremely ######### perk that breaks pallets if they vault them after you hit them... It's already an awful perk, and it tells the survivor that you have it so they can not vault anything... It's absolute trash
And just like that, Faulty Floorboards continues to be one of the most slept on perks in the game.
While you may not get direct value of getting a pallet break, it still makes some one have to play a tile differently which would otherwise be completely safe. Shaquille or jungle gyms for example which are known to be some of the safest loops in the game now have to be played around differently just because of this perk. Pair it up with Bamboozle or with a killer with good zoning or area denial and you got yourself a good time

Wait................ really?????? /s
I never said they couldn't. But to try and criticize, even as a poor joke, the original tweet because the poster DARED to call the dialect they spoke as the dialect itself makes no sense to me.
It's like calling every car, truck, sedan, coup, and crossover a "vehicle," and getting all bent out of shape because someone called a car a car and a truck a truck. 🤷♀️
Might be a culture thing considering I have never in my life heard some one say they're speak Quebecois. They just say they speak French. Never heard some one say they speak Australian, they just speak English.
Anyway this has nothing to do with DbD and has been a huge waste of time so, au revoir 👋

I hear people say American English and Australian English all the time. The problem with your statement about Canadian English is that it has very little difference with just normal British English, as does normal American English. The more the dialect influences the language, the more it can be called just the dialect. If the vocabulary is more than just one or two slang words every few sentences and you really need to know the lingo to understand the sentences, yeah I'd say you can just call it as the dialect.
Regarding my family analogy, they have a first name for a reason. You don't call your siblings by their last name, you use their first name. You know, the name that is personal to them?
you do know that some one from Quebec and France can still easily hold a conversation right
-
Theyve always been a "use at your own risk" kinda thing, but in my 8 years of playing I have yet to hear of some one getting banned from it

Yeah but gens go brr too so its not super strong trade of plus springtrap isnt best with this he is 110% speed and there are killers that can instadown you or catch up much faster than him.
who said this was for viability? I came here and expected fast pallet breaking speeds as advertised
and it did not disappoint

A: This only triggers in the endgame, so you might as well run None Are Free or Blood Favor for the same effect.
B: You better have a good endgame combo in those other two perk slot cause everyone is booking it out of the gates ASAP.

Yes. And further to the point, Canada hasn't been a part of France since 1763. Britain didn't travel to Australia until 1788. I say this because Canada not only had longer to distinguish its dialect from France for longer, but it is being intertwined with English, which is exactly what that dialect of French is. Are you and your siblings always identical just because you have the same parents?
thanks for the history lesson, anyway.
Im not saying theyre identical, Im saying at the end of the day they are still the same language, just spoken slightly differently. Using myself as an example, just because Im Acadian doesnt mean I dont understand people from Quebec or France. As some one who speaks English as well, am I gonna say I speak Canadian? Or go to some one from the states and say they speak American? Of course not, because that sounds stupid. Just call it English and get it over with.
To use that family analogy of yours as well. They may not be identical, but they all share the same blood and name.

Australian English is still English but good luck understanding an Australian dialect and all the slang they use in practically every sentence if you are a standard English as a second language learner.
Ok, but do you point to them saying theyre speaking Australian?

that got a chuckle from me, but it's not wrong; listen to a Quebecer talk and then a Parisian
I mean its just a different dialect. I myself am Acadien which is still very distinct compared to Quebecois despite both cultures being in neighbouring provinces. But in the end, its still french.

Please read what I said, no people on either side have scream perks, so how are they screaming?… :) In most cases it is a dead giveway at the very start of the match that someone is cheating. Cause their cheat software sees your aura from the other end of the map, and then uses a perk they dont have.
I mentioned those 2 because its easy to forget that they can cause some one to scream. Also as said before, it could still technically be a challenge.
Now I wasnt there, idk how that game went. Guy could of been flying around but all I know is a guy screamed at the beginning.
-
@Munky said:
Yeh cheating is absolutely rampant right now.
For example I got a screaming Steve 2 matches in a row… Pretty sure hes stalking me too, cause one time in event, and I switched to normal mode right after and I got him again. Correct me if im wrong, but there is absolutely no way to scream if neither killer nor survivor has scream perks, right? Maybe im just missing something…
PS: He started doing it at the first second of the match when I knew has was at the complete other side of the map with Lethal pursuier… so he basically outed himself as a cheater right from the start, twice… I guess cheaters are dumb…
Bardic Inspiration or Dramaturgy can cause you to scream right from the get go, and I believe certain tome challenges as well

The event gamemode is one of my favorites with all the different modifiers :)
The only complaint I have with the event is the decreased spawn rate of the event offering. There are times where you can go several levels without getting one and before you would get at least one, and at times multiple in the same web. Higher level bloodwebs could also spawn 3-4 cakes.

I now assume it must have been this! Did they change this perk at any point? I never knew about the lock… Thanks mate. I thought it was permanent, I guess I didn't wait long enough for 90secs to pass… Who would anyway right, without knowing what perk this is from :D
Plaything has always had the locking effect, in fact I'm pretty sure it was the very first perk to have it.

I think the 2v8 stage reduction machanic can be put into the main game.
@Shroompy its definitely a noticeable problem as of the 9.0.0 update. Its a huge topic rn since killrates on all killers have dropped by around 10%, which is not good
Trickster is just associated with me huh
-
That goes for every killer. Their camera is more so at the top of their chest/neck area.
This is especially apparent with Singularity as you can sometimes see the bottom of his head at the top of your screen, and also his legs are really close to the camera
-
Hex: Plaything (Now Fortune's Fool) from Pinhead will block the totem for 90 seconds for everyone that isnt the survivor associated to it. For example if Meg was hooked and is now afflicted with Plaything, only she can cleanse her totem for the first 90 seconds. After that anyone can cleanse it.
2nd perk is Dominance from Dracula. The first time a chest or totem is touched, it will be blocked for 16 seconds. The blocked chest/totem is then highlighted with a white aura for the killer.
EDIT: Oh and Pentimento, but thats even less common than some one seeing me and swipping right

I wonder if she will one day. If you look at the loading screen, set on the vanity table is a strange, mask-like object that appears to have a larger Viking bladed axehead. Perhaps she may fashion that ornamental object into a weapon if she chooses to enter the trials in future.
Afterall, we're still on the lookout for Benedict Baker and Vigo, amongst others. At some point it would be terrific to see those two (and maybe even some of the survivors who provided quotes for the original, free-for-all perks).

I'm failing to see the logic here.
DbD, as of now, requires a crazy amount of grinding for you to have all perks and now we have a lot of new players coming for FNAF, so giving these new players a lot of cakes to help them with the grind so they keep interested and engaged with the game seems the logic way to go to me.They're aware of that. The problem is the number of cakes however compared to last year is SIGNIFICANTLY lower, regardless if youre P100 or not.

Not the point of the post. The point is that his outfits are so bad you can't mix them because of how random and few outfits he has. Compared to feng who has millions of outfits, you can get creative. Another point is that he rarely gets outfits and when he does, it's usually a recolor.
Thing is thats your opinion, there are a decent amount of cosmetics that mix with eachother fairly well. Especially compared to other killers. As for him rarely getting cosmetics thats also not necessarily true, especially for events. He's definitely up there in receiving event cosmetics and is one of the few characters who has had multiple outfits obtainable for free in events. Blighted, Winter, and now Masquerade. This aint even mentioning the other event cosmetics he receives.
Now, am I saying he's a favorite child? No. But now that we have 40 killers in the game I can confidently say he's still treated fairly decently
As for comparing him to Feng, theres no points in comparing like 90% of the roster to her lol
