It was not just Twitter unfortunately, Ive seen it happening across multiple social media.
point still stands lol
-
This is why you avoid twitter folks. Trust me youll be a lot happier.
-
clearly a skill issue
nah fr tho contact support. if you can as well attach your logs
-
The last major events for like the past 4 years have always had 1 Survivor outfit and 1 killer outfit that you can only get as the event goes on. This isnt something exclusive to Wraith
-
Nah dawg, its fine as is. No need to complicate things.
-
I like the glow effect on them for sure, but the issue I have with basically all the outfits from this rift is how hard it is to mix and match with already existing cosmetics due to them being vastly different than ehat the characters already have
-
To add onto his bit about the cameras, I think a good incentive to use them is actually revealing him even if he's Undetectable (but maybe reduce the range?) since right now its kinda useless with how often he's able to enter stealth
-
Ok so lets assume the mori wasnt the option
whats stopping him from just picking them up
-
Because theyre 2 entirely different killers?
For mobility, Springtrap needs to go to fixed locations which in some cases can work against him, and also Survivors can take advantage of this as well. Unknown has a bit more control of where he can teleport, and also an insta teleport on demand with no range limit.
For their projectile, Springtrap's projectile is faster but cant go as far and has a MUCH smaller hitbox. Unknown has an AoE that can hit multiple people and is much more threatning even at medium distances. Not to mention he always moves at 115%.
Also he has a dog (supposedly)

Huntress should actually be positioned before Myers. Characters that come for free with the base game are always displayed first in order of release date, then come all the chapter DLCs who are ordered the same way. This is why you will see Bill Overbeck displayed before Laurie even though he was added later than her.
Fair, how ever I should of clarified that this is with the "date" filter. In which case Bill is in the wrong spot as well

Gotcha. Latency shenaginans.
Its not latency, he just doesnt face the direction he's aiming but instead the direction he's moving (backwards is the only exception)
So if he's straffing left or right, it looks like he's facing a completely different way and his red stain reflects this as it faces a completely different direction. So when it ends up throwing it, it looks really janky
-
Probably the Wesker effect of a strong killer that everyones playing and everyone starting to get tired of it. Literally suffering from success
-
guys do we even try
-
As fun as I would have using VC, I know Im in the minority and understand why many dont want it.

I would love to see what kind of counterplay folks come up with if this gets main stream!
"guys he's slugging and standing ontop of me just do gens"-me probably

Me and my homies on our way to get a singular broken bulb and serum before its patched:

While yes bhvr has done a lot of killer buffs since the inception of the game. To my knowledge, aside from trickster, no killer has recieved a base movement speed increase (I may be wrong tho).
And hell no I dont want to go back to old dbd, with infinites, instant moris, maps that looked like dogwater, instant gens, perma sabo and og 5 blink nurse. That was just awfull.
Nurse, Myers (twice), Legion and Trickster have all received base movement speed changes :)

Wait but if it's 1%, then what are the other tiers?
Talk about a wasted perk slot.
Never even thought about that LOL

He plays very similarly to Huntress in chases. Hitting them while in the middle of an animation, throwing while right behind them, yada yada. Huntress stuff! Just dont go for fancy trickshots yet, familiarize yourself with the axe, and then become one with the axe.
Theres also no need to be trigger happy on reclaiming the axe. Take advantage of being 115% and only recall once you see a good opportunity.
Cant really give tips on the doors considering I dont really know what else there is to say.

Personally I was surprised by the difference between lobby time and playtime. I have ~6000 hours from steam/epic combined, but thats a little less than 1500 actual in game time
yup thats it
-
I expected Trapper to be my number 1 followed by Trickster, but instead its actually: Trickster, Hillbilly, then Trapper.
My Trapper days were mostly back when I had a dorito of a PC which was between mid 2017 (when I first started) and late 2019. So it makes sense

I asked ChatGBT what the strongest chase build was, and it said:
"Balanced Landing, Sprint Burst, Quick and Quiet and Dance with Me"
Additionally, it told me the best genrushing build:
Hyperfocus
Stake Out
Prove Thyself
Fast Track (Yoichi Asakawa)
yeah this thing aint stealin our jobs any time soon

You have rotations?
I just play Freddy 99% of the time, then I play one or two others a little bit before going back to Freddy.
Idk if rotation is the best word, rather like "group". Over the years Ive always had a few killers which I played more often than others, and its shifted over the years. Trapper and Trickster though have stayed in that group of killers very consistently over the years
-
I have like 12 million boints saved up. This bunny gonna be bloody REAL fast
-
Oni
The guy was apart of my regular rotation in the earlier days, but since they removed that banger of a chase theme it just hasnt been the same
-
We did get Eren and Mikasa as survivor skins
Dwight as Eren, and Yui as Mikasa
-
The only killers that should get voicelines imo is Ghost Face and Freddy. If others would get voicelines, they should be very limited. Im talkin Plague limited

- Twins and Trickster... I don't care if they are considered strong or weak, I just know I never have fun with them.
-
I dont know anything about Bendy, but I dont see it coming into DbD anytime soon.
-
imagine if this is all just a ploy to get us up and arms about TCoFS not being in the game and just a skin and then he ends up being the next killer lol
-
I dont think he needs a rework, I think he just needs a little bit more tuning. This is what I have in mind:
To grab onto a survivor you need to be within 7m of them, doing so will give a mark and injure only. To compensate, increase mark timer to 60 seconds. If he latches onto an already injured survivor, they get marked (or the marked timer resets) and they suffer from Deep Wounds. Also make it so his grab can count as a protection hit.
This way he'd no longer be an anti tank guided missile (well, we still would be but to a much more tolerable extent) and perks that require to simply be injured rather than Deep Wounded would also have a better chance to shine.
-
looks like the standard 4.4m/s killer experience to me
You can enhance this experience with the following:

The idea of โโa "dash that consumes the duration of the Main Event" was inspired by Wesker's Bound Attack, and since Wesker's Bound is accepted, I think it would be fine for the Trickster to be able to dash during the Main Event. Unlike Bound, it cannot be activated if the sufficient conditions are not met, cannot vault windows and pallets, and requires more shots than before to deal damage injured survivors.
If it still seems too strong, there are ways to balance it. Such us making the Main Event Meter harder to fill, shortening the duration of the Main Event, or more increasing the survivors' Laceration Meter Limit. It might also be a good idea for Main Event to consume the consume the knife remaining (he can barrage while the Main Event regardless of ammo remaining, but he will likely run out of normal knives after the Main Event).
As long as it's balanced in other areas I don't think it's a problem. The difference though is Trickster is a ranged attack that can mow through people with ease. Breaking LoS is the main counter to it and giving him mobility with it would be way too much

I found this bug so fascinating, because it gave us regular players a chance to look at how the first-person perspective is pulled off.
Some killers got it rough, holding those poses.
yeahh
I took a screenshot of every killer during that patch lol
-
Trickster does not need mobility in Main Event considering the main counter to it is breaking line of sight.
In a perfect world he should just be reverted back to how he was, just without the recoil and ricochet knives basekit
-
@GentlemanFridge said:
The shadow is technicaly accurate. It's just that the shadow you're seeing is the shadow of the first-person animation, which needs to make sure nothing is getting in the way of the camera. So the model gets contorted, and the usual idle animations aren't used at all.
It's not a T-pose per se, but it does result in funny looking shadows.
I DONT WANT TO SEE THIS SHADOW
-
I doubt it, honestly kinda funny how it happened 3 times lol
