"Though just like so many whining Survivors, you"

Like all the other mains on this website - label me as a survivor because i disagree with cry baby killers.

    I play both equally.

I'm not moaning about face camping, I don't care much to be honest, but to say it doesn't happen is to say survivors never run sprint burst.

Did I say I was a Killer Main? No, I didn’t. Nice job being a hypocrite, and slapping a label on me as well there genius.

Did I call you a Survivor Main? No, I said whining Survivor. By your own admission, you play both equally, so its the Survivor player in you whining.

Secondly, again, face camping isn’t possible because facecamping was body blocking the hook to remove the unhook prompt option. So no, it’s doesn't happen because with the introduction of Swivel Hooks, it’s no longer even possible to do.

You are moaning. And your using the word “facecamping” in order to add a more dramatic tone to your argument because it’s “powerfully foul.” That way you can make it sound much more horrible than it really is, and give your argument more weight.

Can we just remind ourselves you're arguing over nothing, i never complained about face camping. I'm just saying it still exists.

there is no argument to be "powerfully foul" lmfao - stop trying to sound smart you're arguing with me over something that never even happened, you think face camping doesn't exist because you think face camping is hook blocking (LOL). I think face camping exists because killer can oh i don't know... stand face to face with a survivor and not move... almost like they're face camping. LUL

Arguing over me "whining" when i didn't whine. GG.

    Also https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000442326-Can-I-report-a-player-for-face-camping-

This article from the dbd customer support page that was updated a month agree accepts that face-camping is still in the game :)

  • It's not even gone into PTB yet and you guys are already trying to whine and see what you can get to make up for it.

    Hilarious.

  • Many people are ignoring the fact 2 hooks and 2 gens will always be part of the event regardless of offerings, which will fix most of the issues of the last i think.

Well it literally cant happen anymore because devs removed it. You can unhook from all angles now. Its impossible to secure a hook unless you are a chainsaw killer

Why are we acting like "Face camping" was the same as "Hook Blocking".

Because that is what face camping means

If you wanna refer to a killer standing close to a hook nowdays, then it is called camping.

I feel there's a definitive difference between camping and standing one inch from a survivor making it harder to unhook.

After still being traumatized by the flashlight exploiting survivors, I would use tinkerer 2 too if I had it.

Because everyone cheating makes this game even better, right?

Before I passed the 500 hour mark I was just like you. Afterwards however, lets say, I lost hope..... Devs are not gonna do anything and if killers actually getr a possibility to play as the powerrole and play as a scary killer, why shouldnt they take it?
Survivors dont hesitate either when there is a bug to exploit and these bugs usually are gamebreaking like bugging the killer into the air etc

2200 Hours. The devs continually try to make it better.
Not many companies communicate with people as much as these guys do, yet everyone acts as if they never talk to us, it's funny, they're trying, changing the game up all the time and keeping it fun.

Anyways, back in the real world, I'm concerned about people getting unhooked after I leave the hook, getting their free SB in the opposite direction, and getting to heal / reset the game state to punish my "fair play."

Exhaustion already depletes on the hook, lol.

    Enjoy!

So you're saying killers can no longer stand within 1 meter of survivors?

please, continue to tell me how face camping doesn't exist.

    Btw. Invisible is something else.

Lol, as if the lunge animation isn't so long that it'll cancel out the sprint burst anyway.
Also, if you're that close when unhooking you're pretty much facecamping anyway.

I used invincibility previously in the post so you know what I meant, I made a typo. Get off your little high horse, correcting spelling for a word I've already used correctly in the previous sentence just makes you look awful.

I´m not the one on a high horse who makes fun of other posts. I just pointed out that it´s a completely different thing. Not just a typo.
But doesn´t feel good to get corrected does it?
Don´t worry, i won´t hurt your feelings anymore. I promise.

Sprint Burst makes the survivor immune to a hit, since the hit registration doesn´t work. That´s the whole point about it. Also face camping doesn´t exist anymore. It was removed back in october 2017.
Would you like to know more?

You're so childish and condescending. I don't make fun or troll posts. I give my opinion and other people don't like it because it requires them to adjust to the updates become better killers/Survivors.

Also being corrected on a word I've used correctly in the sentence doesn't bother me, it just shows your immaturity to have an actual conversation.

    "Sprint Burst Makes Survivor Immune"

oh my god, you must not play killer at all, I'm sorry for accusing you of being that. I've hit plenty of survivors as their sprint burst activates.

Also, just a little tid bit for you - exhaustion runs down on the hook naturally, no one seems to be complaining about this but suddenly it's super OP because it'll be cleared regardless of how long you're on the hook for? LOL

"Also face camping doesn´t exist anymore. It was removed back in october 2017.
Would you like to know more?"

Face camping is the act of standing infront of the survivor while they're hooked, so you're guaranteed a hit on them or the other person when they're being unhooked. It doesn't matter what angle you get pulled off from, a killer can still stand an inch away from you - AKA FACE CAMPING.

God you need to learn some more about this game before trying to be rude, lol.

With the upcoming BL nerf and the other survivor buffs the game will finally reach the point where all survivors escape every match. Survivors get their nice thrill of getting hunted with no real danger and they can create a funny YT video for their friends.

Killers then have to be strong and don´t adapt. It will be hard for a time, but once you get used to 0 kills every match it gets easier. Survivors will tell killers to git gud. But killers need to stay strong and accept the loss. Because if killers adapt like they did in the past, they will only get more nerfs. But if killers stay strong and don´t adapt, they´ll get buffed like survivors did. Because survivors will complain on the forum that they can´t find any matches on high ranks.

    WHAT BUFFS? LOL

Commenting on a Q&A thread and laughting because you haven´t informed yourself.

Buffs like integrated Kindred for every survivor. Longer invincibillity after being unhooked, exhaustion refreshing on the hook so they can use sprint burst right off the hook.
    I consider those strong buffs.

"longer invincibility after being unhooked" Dude, do you even listen to anything? They're invisible until their feet touch the ground. it's not like they're running around unhittable. YOU LITERALLY HIT THEM A FEW FRAMES LATER ITS NOT A BUFF ITS A MINOR CHANGE TO AT LEAST GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO ESCAPE HOLY COW.

Do you think they're just letting survivors run around with i frames until the next pallet? jesus.

“Come grab me off the hook! I’ll Dead Hard/Sprint Burst away to safety or go to a Loop for free cause he can’t hit me right off he hook!”

All this will do is promote Hook Rushing. Hell, if the Killer is far enough away, it’s a freebie for both doing the unhook and the hooked person. Won’t even have to use Borrowed Time anymore and risk the Killer chasing the guy till the timer runs out. Most of all combined with the “status ailments reset on being hooked” so there is no chance to be exhausted so you can’t use your exhaustion perk.

In fact, it’s even worse than the old BT. Now the unhooked guy is guaranteed to get to take off to a Loop, and Loop the crap out of the Killer for his one health state because he doesn’t have a timer ticking down till he falls.

“Come grab me off the hook! I’ll Dead Hard/Sprint Burst away to safety or go to a Loop for free cause he can’t hit me right off he hook!”

Lmao, you can literally hit a second or two later and you'll get them, if you're that close to hit them anyway you're probably camping which means you're the reason this "buff" is happening.

"All this will do is promote Hook Rushing. Hell, if the Killer is far enough away, it’s a freebie for both doing the unhook and the hooked person. Again, you've just hooked this person and want to tunnel them, you're still the reason this "buff" is happening.

Why not, i don't know... go after the one unhooking instead of tunneling? The risk a survivor takes to save someone should allow the saved person some safety. As a killer you can quite easily hit the unhooker, and then hit them again after they've unhooked... It's almost like a trade off or something that you can make if you're camping or running back to the hook on every unhook.

If you aren't a camping killer you won't be there when they're unhooked anyway, lol.

Sprint Burst has I-frames due to hit box registers being unable to “keep up” with placing the Survivors hit box to be overlapped the Killers active hit box when swinging.

Dead Hard has 3 invincibility frames flat out. As you know.

Now the developers want to give invincibility frames right off the hook as well.

“If you aren’t a camper, it won’t effect you” ... Where have I heard that before... oh right. Here we go :

That was the same excuse Survivors used to justify how broken the old Borrowed Time was. How badly it promoted hook rushing. How it punished Killers who didn’t camp as well.

Hey, look! A video made before the well deserved borrowed time nerf. Neeeext!

Hey look! Someone who doesn’t realize the similarities!

This new unhook feature will be abused to hurt those who don’t camp as well.

Given the new borrowed time the video is irrelevant. now the claudette would have been downed and he would have hooked her. This issue has been addressed.

Sprint Burst i-Frames - Lag. Just like when a survivor is on the other side of dropping a pallet and still gets hits.
Dead Hard - It's literally meant to be this way, that's how it works - easy to fake out, if dead hard upsets you you're bad at the game

I-Frames off the hook, almost like they don't want killers to tunnel or something, hit a second later and you'll be fine big boy.

Also, when this is happening you, as a killer aren't likely going to be anywhere near it when it happens, what's the issue?

ALSO; if you are near it when it happens you just hit the survivor that's disarming.

So... what you are saying is, that survivors should be able to loop a killer indefinitely?

If you don't think looping is necessary in this game you don't really understand it.

So looping is now necessary? I thought it was just the lazy way to waste the killers time, instead of actually learing to juke the killer and lose him.

"Invincibility Frames" Wait before you hit?

Yes, it would be unbalanced. Again in survivors favor. Or wouldn´t 6-7 survivors do gens while 1 killer camps?

  • 2 killers would never work. You'd have two of them hunt down one person it would be instant hook, one hits, the second hits. Survivor is down, one camps while the other hunts.

It's so insanely unbalanced it'd be impossible to balance it.

  • Flashlight saves should be incredibly rare.

The killer has done everything he needs too, committed to a chase, hit the survivor twice and deserves the hook.

Just Like DS, Flashlights needed a nerf and this speedy pickup is a good start.> @only1biggs said:

Uh, DS and flashlights can be played around. You know this :/

DS Juggling is sketchy at best. You juggle, and get body blocked anyway, resulting in them getting out for free and still having their D Strike for later.

You juggle them, and give enough time for survivors to have multiple flashlight attemps.

You don't juggle, they hit the DS, chase starts again.

Killer has already done all the chasing and hitting, they deserve the hook.

Flashlights, meh. some survivors are so well timed they nail it regardless of what you do.

Again, the killer has already committed to a chase, hit the survivor twice and grabbed them. their team mates shouldn't be easily able to save them.

  • It's fine how it is.

  • Killers are weak. Always will be, you know why? Because the bad ones would rather moan and complain or gloat about an update on a forum instead of actually getting better at the game.

  • All the killer mains making stupid posts.

  • I have a feeling it wont happen.

the head & shirt parts are separate for survivors. So creating a top that looks good with a different head on who's head combo actually has a hood on it would look janky as heck.

    If that makes any sense?

Everyone go watch the OCHIDO vid about complaining Killers Lmao GFO

Ochido is a bad survivor main who bullies rank 20s and acts as if he's god tier.

If your a dumbass killer dumb enough to chase someone for five gens then you deserve to lose loser!

Theres no need to be offensive. why does every discussion on this forum degrade into throwing insults all over the place.

You are not entitled to loop for five generators.

Go be toxic on Soul at Stake instead, they haven't patched all your grief tactics out yet.

Flashlighting isn't griefing. It's part of the game, accept it.

  • In my honest opinion, when a survivor is down the killer has done everything they need too. It shouldn't EVER be easy to restart a chase and have the killer drop the survivor. The increased difficulty is better imo.
