Freddy is only so "good" because most survivors can't play well. Why should a decent killer be nerfed because most survivors refuse to adapt and improve at the game? Literally only like 3 killers out of 20+ are even a challenge for a competent survivor. Why play a PvP game if you don't wish to improve?
You obviously didnt read anything of what I just said, nor have you experienced facing off against a disgusting Freddy. Before you come back to this reply, face off against Freddy in back to back scenarios. Pretty sure I explictedly stated things in my wall of text that gave you insight on where I stand.

I think he still needs to have decent map and game knowledge but I have to agree for how strong of a killer he is he's far to easy to use and do well with.
I have to disagree, he does well on ANY map because of the TP ability. All he needs is discordance, BBQ, tinkerer or some perk that notifies you on which gen you're at and BOOM; he's there. Almost any killer does well on an indoors map but he excells in all of them, outdoors or indoors; like, just yesterday I DC'D from a match with Freddy because I was just frickin toxic and that map was Lampkin.
Prior to that I got into another match on cross pentus, that was another match I Dc'd from because he was camping the hell out of me and then when I matched to get off the hook, slugged me; got another got another survivor; we got both put on the hook; got down and I got tunneled. I then got a 15 minute DC penalty which I just waited out by watching YT. he's flipping ridiculous.

pretty much 4 games out of 5 when i play ghostface and run devour hope and get to 3 tokens, survivors just gives up, why? sometimes they keep playing and look for the totem but most of the time they just let themselves die on hook and barely try to loop.
Why?
Simple explanation. Ghost face with devourhope is an easy camp + mori basically everything all in one go. You get a speed boost for ten seconds letting you book it across the map to expose another survivor and down another survivor, then at some point you get the ability to kill them if you get 5 tokens in the game (I might be a bit out of date, bare with me.)
Ghost face is quite tedious when it comes to it because you can never tell when he's coming not unless you run SC, which almost everyone does. His gameplay doesn't require much skill at all, it's like a myers but better. You just stare at a survivor until they realize they're fmtcked and with devour hope the chances of survival get worse. Literally no one wants to get mori'd muchless deal with a GF with devour.
Inb4 people say do bones; that's a simple explanation in two ways. Either you got the glitched hex totem meaning it's NEVER GOING DOWN or the hex totem is in a spot NOBODY EVER THINKS TO LOOK. 90% of the time the totem is one of the most obvious spots we all overlook because it's so insignificant even the killer would ignore it if didnt light up in a pink color. See what I mean? I'd probably be one of those people to either give up or look for the totem, find it and get my vss to the hatch.
-
Honestly, i'd be one of those people who'd Urban evasion away because I dont got time to save you again. I'd also be one of those people to watch in the distance. I'm highkey guilty of that but what I wouldn't do is complain about it. However 90% of the time I leave the guy on the hook and do gens because if we dont, that's an easy way to a gen 3 which is disgustingly common now that high ranker have to be forced to play with low ranks.
At this point, I've learned a lesson and that lesson is that "Go fix what you can't save." Meaning if I can't save the person on the hook cause two survivors are forcing the killer to camp then imma to do my job and get us from getting gen 3'd. I also live by the EFTS rule (Everyone for themselves.) Teamwork is fine but if your teammates are idiots, leave em. Let them burn. I dont got time to play with stupidity.
-
Edit: Legion is still number 4 but the build I see and hate the most is this.
Thanta, sloppy butcher, Ruin, BBQ. Toxic and annoying. + mending? You're not finishing that game; EVER.
-
For the record, I can wait out the DC Penalty; I dont really care for it. I can just binge watch Evagelion while I wait.
-
I have a list - Part 2.
3. HAH, THE MUD QUEEN!
- The goddamned hag. I dont think I need to say much to get the point across on this one. Universally hated, known for camping, slugging and have an overall DISGUSTING play. She's like Freddy but easier. Rewards survivors for All the horrible moves that would only be acceptable if yoy hadn't gotten a kill. Then they have the audacity to run Undying with other hex based perks making our life a hell; IN ADDITION TO HER ADD-ONS WHICH MAKE IT SO THAT SHE CAN TRIGGER IT WHENEVER SHE PLEASES.
Again, i'd take the DC penalty then place against you, Espeically when you play like that. Disgusting piece of- not gonna go there.
4. The legion - Thanta + Mending + ruin go brr.
Nuff said. Everyone knows this pain and with there little red pinbutton add-on, this easily surpasses the hag. Disgusting. Get out my face.
-
Hah. I have a freaking list.
1. Freddy the annoyance
- He's generally unfun to play against and is quite literally braindead. He takes NO goddamned skill to play or use. The dream snares/pallets are stupidly abusable, zero cool down and it's hard to tell what's real and fake. He can openly teleport between any gens he feels like, so running BBQ on him is a must for all the pumpkin spice latte players who just love to play as him.
He's easy to get a kill by face camping, spaming dream snares around hooked survivors and slugging. Easy to mori with and impossible to escape. The hatch is always found before anything else; it's grown to the point where I either DC or purposely get myself killed to avoid dealing with him. Sorry, try again when you're not the hag on steroids. I could go on and on about him but let's keep moving.
2. IT'S TIME FOR YOUR TREATMENT! 20 DOSES OF PAIN AND BLOOD!
- The doctor. He's MORE than tolerable in this list but he's disgusting. If i'm not maining jake and I'm running my meg, I'm screwed. It's lile every 30 second he spams his aoe. Luckily, the easiest counter is lockers and staying THE HELL out of his terror radius, and I'm a stealth main so that's easy to do. The problem is when we reach the end of the game, either he camps between 2 - 3 gens making it impossible to repair without all of us getting madness; and like any other killer, they have ruin making it impossible to repair gens at that point. Easy 4k for them, disgusting and bad time for us.
Not to mention, they spam carter spark lile there life depends on it which is OH so frickin annoying. Looping them is somewhat easy in the first part but when they start spamming there ability, I lowkey wanna RQ AND THEM THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO FACECAMP OR SLUG. At that point, IDC; You can take your RQ points, I'm not dealing with you.

First of all, I main killer. I have about 2k hrs. mostly killer. As most killer mains know, playing killers is not about being good at the chases, but also knows how to control the survivors and apply pressure accordingly. it's both a skill-based and strategy game for the most part as a killer.
Because of my experience, I got more wins than losses. That just how the game is designed, you can't just win every game. I am constantly shocked by those R1~R3 survivors that teach you how to play as a nice killer in the aftergame chat simply because they didn't have a good game.
I make this post to let those R1-R2 "survivor mains" know that in some cases there aren't many choices for killers to make and you have to admit that and just keep going.
Ok, this morning I got a game like this:
I was playing nurse. survivors played efficiently (been extremely atriums and doing gens). I made a mistake in my second chases which takes longer than usual. By the time I got my 4th hook, there is only 1 gen left. As I just hooked the survivor, I noticed the other survivors (at least 2 due to infectious fright, one hide behind a pallet, one wants to distract me in open space) were around and waiting for rescue. Now here is the choice:
1) proxy camp the hook and slug nearby survivors if possible
2) leave and check gens
NOTE: both sides want to win the game of course.
So, my fellow killers and survivors, given what's on the table, If you were in such a situation, what would you do?
------------------------------My Choice as a Killer--------------------------------------------------
I took the first and it worked out by 3 man slug. the last one went away and I start to hook. Then the last survivor immediately came back for rescue. I react in time and slug the whole time and go away with 4k.
As much as I hate how you pulled off the 4k, I must say I'm impressed on how you pulled it off. I can't really complain here because I think you made the right call.
Usually, I would've said something about you getting a "Fantastic" 4K to antagonize you but I can't because you turned the game around real quick; so kudo's to you.
-
@chieften333 said:
Today alone I've just gone against 3.
Everytime I broke a pallet they seemed to be ludicrously far away. At first I just chalked it up to latency, but when I got near an injured one they just zoomed away. They do it so much that they're always out of sight while in a chase.
That's why I'm deciding to keep crossplay off until that crap is dealt with.
This happened in 3 separate matches, each about an hour or two apart. Not sure if it's confirmation bias or not. But have y'all encountered more speed hackers recently?
No offense but crossplay was hot dogshmt the moment it came out. It wasn't balanced at all and different consoles meant different latencys and frame rates thus leading to bs hits and downs, facecamping, tunneling, laggy matches, etc etc.
I'm glad you're seeing the issue now but I think you should've turned off crossplsy from first few moments it came out. You're a little late.
In any case, most you can do about speedhackers is either record and report or DC and hope you don't find them again.
-
Now, I main a Meg and Jake. Stealth and evasion is my main game. I do stealth better with my meg cause she wears all black and Jake is better at evasion cause he also wears all black but has lightweight and Spine chill.
In any case, I'll SIT there and if I see you moving towards me; as my meg, I'll wait to make sure I've been seen by hearing you raise your blade. As a Jake, I'm GTFO. Unlike meg who I think I can properly loop with; Jake doesn't have my meg perks so he's screwed.
My only reason why I'd sit there is to confirm that I've been seen. I've had MANY times where a killer has come so close as to their red light is SHINING on me and they'll walk away like they didnt see a meg in front of them. I find it funny to blenddette when I know damn well i dont play as her or in the male version Blenden.
Edit: forgot to add my Meg has urban evasion along with SB

I'd love for you to face my PH and continue saying that you can easily loop a PH.
@topic Honestly stealth is your best best, followed by holding W. Also if there's a change in verticality, like on Dead Dawg Saloon (easily his worst map) or Hawkins' catwalks, abuse the ######### out of it. He can't hit *upwards* with his power, only down slopes. Run up or through buildings with lots of holes in the floor (again see the Saloon or Hawkins) and he's powerless, literally. It's a detriment to even try.
Is that a challenge? Bet. I'd love to try it out against you, win or lose. To be clear, I said that because I find him pretty easy to loop anyways. His attacks are linear in it comes to rite of judgement. I spent 1 - 3 whole minutes running from this PH because he kept letting me loop him at pallets instead of just breaking them. He spammed the shmt out of ROJ and trails.
Even though I was hit with torment, I escaped all chases. I'm no god but I'm pretty sure that if I face off against you, you'll do better then them but feel free to keep that same mentality. I personally have no idea what I'm getting to but I won't deny a challenge you make one.
-
@Wesker09 said:
Seriously I don't understand this killer at all. Free zoning and tunneling and constantly spamming his power to hit through walls it's like, I can't drop pallets or vault cause that's basically a guaranteed hit so i'm out of ideas against this killer outside of hide and gen rush which isn't fun
Any tips against this killer?
Mind game the mind gamer. You CAN loop him, it's simple to do. You'd be better off prematurely dropping the pallet and using that to run him in circles. Trying to go for stun or last minute drops will lead to a swift m2 into a down. Bait the PH into thinking you're going to turn some way and make him miss his shot, not that hard to do.
-
Yeah, I find kobying toxic but I also don't find it toxic. I'm a little here and there with it.
I'm unsure if some dumbvss streamer popularized it but I'm seeing it a lot more frequently now with recent matches then i did before. Yesterday, I recorded 7 people who tried to kobe while I was going for the save. I was oblivious to this because I though that phase had dried up but they dug deep and now they'res just this sudden spring of Kobe's.
In any case, I saved them without a second thought. It was only at my last teammate where when I saw him kobe literally two seconds before I got there and I was like, "Are you serious?" I doubled back and then went back to save them because I couldn't afford to have him get to the second stage.
The way I see it is, you as a survivor; try to make it big and look like the biggest annoyance in history by wasting one of your teammates time to come save you. This depends on whether the killer has ruin or not. Mind you, I have to run all the way to you, sacrificing my time when I could be getting a gen done and we could be avoiding gen 3's easily.
So, yeah. If the killer is running ruin or some regression on my gen and you Kobe? Damn right, i'mma turn around and leave you, you just made me waste my time while trying to pull off something cool and think your some big shot. Then you have the audacity to ask me to heal you by teabagging? Lol, no. Should've thought of that before pulling that off KNOWING the circumstances.
However, if the killer isn't running ruin and you Kobe in front of me. I don't care if you make it or not, I'm healing and or pulling you off the hook because at least you tried and failed; or tried and succeeded. Nothing of value was lost to me. I'm not that petty for bloodpoints considering I have a crap ton of offerings to give for that.
A different scenario is a killer terror camping and you trying to Kobe in my face knowing I risked it all for you; I'm going to either leave you or unhook you and not heal ya. Should've though of that before trying to Kobe in my face knowing the killer is nearby.
I don't care really care if you say " We're just having fun." Or " Stop being so sensitive." I'm not being petty, you wasted MY TIME. That time cojuld've been spent doing a gen to help us escape and survive. If anything, your being petty for making us run all the way across the map only for you to pull some free 4% or deliverance card out your vss. I didnt laugh and I'm not gonna heal you because of it.
In a TL;DR, Time is precious and every moment counts; whether your looping, doing gens, pulling off protection hits or saves. If you intent to waste our time and thing you look cool by pulling off a streamers move. I'm going to leave you. If you sabatoge the game, I'm just gonna DC because obviously, your toxic and or salty that I didnt save you even after knowing you WASTED MY TIME. In those 20 - 30 seconds I'm rushing towards you, worst case scenario is the killer finds and or downs someone else. You just had to go and act smug or cool so you could pull of something instead of letting me get the WGLF and healing you.
(Mind you, I don't run WGLF. I main a Jake park with Iron will, premontion, Lightweight and calm spirit; also a meg Thomas with sprint burst, adrenaline, iron will and urban evasion.)
Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

I play to win. If there's no chance of winning I don't want to play. I have been giving up recently too. There's been a few matches where there were no weak link survivors, tons of safe loops, gen rush, Ruin/Undying goes down very quick, and before you know it I have 1 hook versus their 4 gens done. If survivors have a free "give up" option, so should killers.

As painstakingly obvious as it is, I must remind you that ebony moris are an offering. They're not for free, unlike hatch. And I, like others, do not have an abundance of them. I have less than 10 on each killer, and I don't like using them.
You're harshness comes from you being insanely survivor sided. Your description of the killer mindset is laughable, because you actually think people think like that. If I had an extremely sweaty match against a good SWF, I'm not happy just because I got 3 of them. I'm usually pissed off instead, because I could have killed the last one, but some pacifier mechanic allowed then to get away after all the work I did. There is no reflecting on hatch escape matches, nor anything to learn, nor anything to feel proud about. I got those kills! I did! Me! And I got them fair and square. But because the survivor walked to a random door on the ground and pressed a button, they win.
Play killer, at red ranks, with multiple killers instead of just 1, and maybe use some brown add-ons. Already do? That's great. Play some more. You'll know where I'm coming from eventually.
Unfortunately for you, you sound like a child. Okay? You got 3 kills. If you couldn't get a precious 4k from that obviously you fmtcked up somewhere. It's funny because we've come to an impasse where you believe I'm entitled when your whole post screams "Entitled and pampered." Or "If I can't win, I'll just quit." That's a horrible mindset.
Whatever floats your boat is soon to sink it. There Is things to reflect on in EVERY match. Not just your losses. Again, get over yourself. Every killer can use the same point you did but you don't hear them complaining. Instead, they think about their plays and survivors players and devise a better strategy to get a 4k.
You play too competitive and because of that, you refuse to accept the fair you can reflect on everything. You won't learn a thing if you cannot think about how to play better, how to mindgame or stop loops from occuring. Even the best players of DVD have much to learn and reflect on when they lose or win. There's nothing you can do against SWF people or the hatch, the most you can do is GUARNTEE it's location. Easiest way is the offerings that spawn the hatch in the shack or main room. Pay attention to your surroundings. Hence why I said pay attention to the offerings, they'll tell you a lot.
A tl;Dr is. Shut up and learn. You're blinded by an aggressive and competitive play style that you can't even use another's strat to win. If you can't win, you'll quit the whole game. You'd be better off NOT playing Dbd or RQ when you're losing since you've basically wasted EVERYONE'S time. Again, here's your shot to reflect upon how you can do better.
Suggestion: if you don't want a survivor getting the hatch, slug the 3rd and force out the 4th. It's like the survivor will believe they can save their friend. It works almost every time and in the event that it doesn't, get over it; you're not meant to win every match you play.
-
Mind you, i've played a match where we got gen 5'd. This nightmare was applying INSANE friggin pressure, using dream snares, pwyf, and tinkerer. I don't remember the rest of his build but he was on the ball. We did the best we could to get a generator to 80% before he downed a person tp'd to us and yeeted us out. I'm pretty sure he also had ruin. Surprisingly, he didnt have BBQ because tinkerer did the job for him plus the tracks we leave when sprinting.
Sooooooooooo, what's your point again?
-
No offense but the moment you said "I want my 4K." Your argument kinda went null. This whole thing is countered by the pink Mori which killer seemed to have an abundance of.
Get over yourself, if you don't like the hatch then dont play. You already know the game isn't balanced and it probably never will be. Killers are already pampered enough, this is more then enough for them. Especially with the twins, you guys already have your stuff.
So what if they escape if they've hardly done any generators, that simply means one of two things. You're that good of a killer to the point where you can apply crazy pressure; or the survivors made dumb plays, or were too over altruistic to the point they gen 3 themselves or worse.
The only case and point I agree with you with is Key + early hatch considering I just got out a match and I just did that taking 2 other people with me. There's nothing you can do about that, you'll win some and you'll lose some. All you can do is grow from the experience. Take your losses and reflect on it, see what you can do better; pay attentions to offerings, they DO matter, devise a better strategy, start from scratch. Suck it up and don't be such a delicate flower. Sorry to but harsh but this just me being blunt.
-
Coming back to this once again, it's still a bad idea. It's a well thought out process, still complex and hard.
Hatches are fine, the point of the key is to BREAK black locks. The entity wouldn't give us it if it was that broken. I don't see the problem with it. I really don't. The point of the hatch is to work as a separate means to escape, not so that the killer is constantly on your tail and knows your every move. You're suggesting that the killer FINDS OUT where the hatch is mind you, they can cross a map in less than thirty seconds and especially with the crutch; NOED, Or PWYF. I can see why some killers would be upset if they were about to down the last survivor and they got away via hatch but that's the point of the damn thing, no sense in nerfing what's not a probl- oh, wait, SWF.
I can understand when all 4 survivors get away with a hatch and Key before the generators are done. (Mind you, the Hatch `ALWAYS` spawns when there's 1 gen left and or they're only 2 survivors.) So yes, I can feel people being vexed about that but that's the only thing. Nothing we can do about that, people are going to play together and make plans to win; that's a strategy. That strategy won't always work out well and that's something you can improvise on.
About the exit tiles. Again, 30 seconds is NOT going to cut it even when your doing it with others. If they can pressure you off the switch and it **REGRESSES** without you being on it, it's too easy for the killer; especially when bubba, Billy, Clown, ghostface, Myers or nightmare pull up. That's terrifying and boring for other players. Killer's can book it around the map in less than 30 seconds as i said before, making it so that they can intercept you before it's done just won't work, too easy for them; too hard for us.
You seem to want to make things dramatic in a horror 4v1 game. Pretty sure that's what a Mori is for, as annoying as it is. Great concept, good thought; bad idea when you're thinking about it. Epic slow-mo? Really? 3 hatches is an auto no and I believe I already debunked why. I'm not gonna side with adding three because the killer doesn't get anny penalty for closing the wrong one if not he see the right one and goes for it. Aforementioned, i've already debunked why 3 hatches is a bad idea; it's meant to be a simple in and out, not a dramatic; run away, do this 1 - 5 times, get to the exit (failure), run away! (Run to the hatch and fail because bloodlust is a thing :/) we aren't movie stars, try to be a little more realistic when it comes to that.
Again, exposure perks and add-on's make everything worse for the survivors and many of those idea's suggest taking your time opposed to if everything you do will alert the killer like the switches on the gen or trying to open the hatch.
DBD isn't perfect and these idea's will unbalance it to an unnatural degree. To my view, this is "fine" as is, minus the rest of the stuff.
-
Uh, so on an unrelated note to this; this the only post i've had that has over 4 pages. The majority says that it is a strat it just depends on the situation and or used my own words against me. I get it, I was wrong. It's still an annoying strat and I refuse to acknowledge it as such.
For those giving it tips, thanks! I'll read over the posts and see what I can do to avoid getting underhanded like that.

So camping after gens are powered isn't a strat even tho not doing so will MORE than often get you no more kills?
Sorry there are times camping is a strat and not doing it is just stupid.
edit: Not that camping itself isn't a strat, it's just sometimes that's the best thing you can do. Also known as playing smart.
"playing smart." Isn't a thing, its child's play. We call camping puppy guarding but on a more serious level. Camping isn't a strat, its just saying "I suck so I'll resort to underhanded things to win." I ran into so many killers back then who didn't have to camp to win, they were on the ball and those were the ones that had me on the edge of my feet. Now people just camp because they can't get a 4k or getting a kill to even feel successful, its really pathetic.
Like just now, I got out of match with a Plague and she wasn't camping, tunneling or anything she got two kills and applied pressure. A feng min and I escaped but you don't need to camp, tunnel or slug to get proper kills.
Sounds like another entitled killer who supports making the game as boring, bleak, bland and just annoying as possible. Nice to know.

I’ve played doc since I started the game he was my first killer and he will always be my No.1. Whenever I play him tho I get mixed responses from survivors. Some call me trash cause I use his shock tactically for the down others tell me good job for playing a “”lower tier””” character at higher ranks. So I’m wondering what are your opinions on the doctor.
Annoying and I despise him. He basically says "Okay so if you don't have calm spirit, im going to make you scream every 30 seconds. I'm worse the hag, congrats, you traded her for me." Literally the bane of my existence if it wasn't for Freddy goddamn Kruger in my life, I'd hate him at No.1
-
Again, camping still isn't a strat; and every killer falls under this pretext since every killer believes they're entitled to it when they can't get a glorious, wonderous, outstanding 4k.

So, it's only a strat when Bubba pops on insidious, agitation, iron will, and NOED. Love to a see a post showing Basement Bubbas the respect they deserve.
That's even WORSE, that's the most crutch gameplay i've EVER heard. Bubba is literally the gods of tunneling and face camping. If it can't have a kill, no one wins. Just like the hag except she's universally hated for being able to teleport half way across the map and still tunnel you. Thanks for the insight though.

Every time I go up against a killer I never have any fun what so ever no matter how good or bad I played. Even if I escaped I didn't enjoy myself, it just feels like I'm always running (I run spine chill so I know when he's coming) and just hiding and gen rushing.
Then if he chases me I go down so quickly cause of his range, free zoning, and making it to where my choices don't matter and that isn't fun.
I either go down quickly or just be immersed and gen rush and neither one is fun at all
Is there a way to enjoy going up against a deathslinger?
No, you can't. The term fun does not exist when it comes to a killer you basically rewards players with easy tunnels and camps just because he can yoink you back to him. So, yeah. There's your answer.
-
Gonna try and start a trend knowing that entitled/getgud/clueless people will show up.
Nerf Freddy Now
NFN.
-
Just got out of a match with another nightmare. We somehow managed to generator 3 ourselves. He's in need of a nerf. Seriously. I'm not sure how but the whole game he was applying immense pressure just teleporting to generators and knowing where everyone one was. After match I realized he had BBQ but he was on the BALL and it was hard to even heal much less get anything done. Might've been my teammates but god he is too powerful to win against.
Also, off-topic point but had anyone noticed the influx of red ranks playing against greenies and everything other then purple and red? I'm a rank/5 currently and I've almost always ran into a match with a red, another 2 purples and either a green or yellow. Matchmaking is broken again.....
-
How unfortunate. I wish in could give you advice but if you have 4k hours then I must be missing out because you should've been prepared for toxicity every where you go but I'll let the delicate flower go about his business.
See you in the fog.
-
You know, I expected people to be like. "bruh, just get good and you won't complain." And obviously, those are the precious 4ker's. Getting good and having a busted character are two separate things. Learn the difference before speaking.
Of course, we had the other person who was like "So...your complaining about his powers." Obviously? Why else would this be here. Try reading for once. You act like you haven't gotten frustrated over something once and if you tell me no, you're lying to yourself and everyone here.
For those that gave actual responses like helpful comments and or ideas on a suitable nerf, thank you, it's nice to know some people have sentience.
-
Follow-up: other perks I failed to mention
Dying light and phobia. If they don't have ruin in their perk slot, they definitely have one of these two or both. He's literally the buffed up version of the hag which is not only universally hated but easily countered by crouching. TL;DR using urban evasion and keeping an eye on the floor.
I may be missing some perks but those are the ones I remember all nightmare's have frequently. They also seem to resort to tunneling and dream snaring those on the hook even though they could just BBQ and teleport to another survivor, hit them, TP back and apply crazy pressure to those who are going for an unhook and those who are using the generator.
Inb4 those ' I want my Precious 4K' / entitled killers go " the nightmare is fine, no nerf needed. When you're in the dream world, it's HIS world to toy with.' If that's the case then why can't he just instantly hook us and get his 4K? Exactly. Just because your in the dream world doesn't mean he needs to be ridiculously powerful. This is what happens when you bring a movie character into a game and not think about how broken he could be.

Follow up:
Blight is vss. Literally a poor man's nurse, Billy and legion all at once with the addition of compound 21. Getting kills with him is either when the player gets hit given if That blight has blood pact or when they use NOED. He's too easier to loop and dodge at any point. Even bloodlust doesnt help him.
If any player who goes against him has a little bit of sentience, they'll know his hit range is abysmal and the slightest inch off will make him miss. He's super predictable when rushing and again easy to dodge. He gets cucked on almost any map and especially on indoors map. Most killers when playing as blight have to resort to tactics like tunneling or slugging because he'd have a better chance at that than getting ganged on by the other 3 sentient survivors. His flaws are clearly visible and easily exploitable.
No one truly plays the blight for fun sake and I made mention on this earlier with some other discussion post about how most people are playing blight for his perks, after that they'd drop him.
Sorry to rain your parade but blight isnt as good as you think and chances are if you're playing as him well, I dont mean to assume but I'm somewhat sure you're a nurse main that switched the poor mans version just to see how good he was.

1) I prefer Billy, Oni and Hag. Good end game Hag has 9999 speed. The whole map is dead zone. You make a step, you die. She will be summoned from the other side of map, if she take teleport add-ons. :D
2) Again, he cant beat end game Hag. She will teleport in your face and slap it good.
3) Again, he has good add-ons, but they cant make map wide dead zone as Hags teleport add-ons. :^)
4) And again, he is almost as good as Hag, but cant teleport around and nowhere near as Nurse, because Nurse doesnt even need to put traps to activate map wide dead zone.
I'd say he is A- at best, when his lucky stars align. 🚬
TFW You use the most universally hated character ingame that has the most DC's on it in the world then acting like it's a good thing.
Pfft......

Gotta love the sarcasm but allow me to enlighten you as to why anyone is playing as blight rn. To get his perks after that you can bet your ass life on DBB will become hell for survivor and ultimately make them quit. He sucks ass asa killer but his perks are fricking top-notch. Mind you I'm a survivor main who's stopped player killer a while ago but I know my stuff. Here, these perks and scrabble them up.
All of these perks are the one I've seen the most or most common amongst 90% of all the killers. Mix the new killers perks in and you get someone MAD OP.
PTGW
RUIN
Devour hope
NOED
Undying
Blood Favor
Dragon grip
BBQ
Corrupt intervention
Blood warden
ThanaPhobia
PWYF
Dying light
Huntress lullaby
Franklin's demise
Knock out
Remeber me
Bamboozle
Thrilling tremors
Retribution.
See all of these perks? Combine them with the three main killer perks and find out what you get. Trust me, we survivors have it worse so dont complain.

In the best tradition of making things more complicated than they have any right to be, how does this sound:
Moris:
Instead of them being an offering, they become an automatic mechanic again. BUT:
In order to be able to mori a survivor , a new 'aggravation' (or somesuch) counter needs to be filled:
Each time a survivor stuns or blinds the killer, unhooks someone within 5 seconds of them being hooked, using things like Head On or DS, it gets a counter. Once it hits a certain number, you can mori the survivor. Basically it's payback for a survivor annoying the hell out of you.
Keys meanwhile can not be brought into the game, but can only be found, and there's just one type now. BUT, the moment anyone picks up the key, the killer will get a notification AND be able to see the hatch if it spawned already. if the keyholder gets downed or hooked, the killer can pick up the key.
I mean this idea, as weird as they may sound.
No. This whole idea is stupid from top to bottom and that's saying something. Killers having mori's are already annoying cause they pop up like weeds in a garden while we can't even get a DK or SK half the time. Key's are perfectly fine and if anything mori's chances of spawning should be much lower the key's so that you can't just waltz into match only to see everyone DC because either you tunneled them or attempted to kill them.
We are simply doing our job as survivors to band together and -survive- if you can't handle that I dont know what to tell you. Us stunning and blinding you isnt even a problem when you mind game or tilt your camera out of the blinding affect. Chances are that if we get unhooked within the first 5 seconds of being hooked, you'll tunnel them or they'll have BT to keep moving. I'd really wish people stop coming up with ideas to tip the game into the killers favor.

Yeah, no. This just gives the killer more of an advantage over us and makes it easier for killers to just let themself get blinded/stunned/or let the survivors do their job to -survive-Keys are a perfect way to counter mori's and as is mori's are in a need of a nerf. As far as I'm concerned, ultra-rare mori's shouldnt be popping up like weeds in a garden. This will also make it so that SWF people kinda just leave the game because you decided to kill them after them doing their job to GET AWAY.
Killers seeing the hatch is like LB, But more broken since they could just sit there and wait for you to come; shut the hatch and go from there. You might as well be telling them to run a NOED or FD team. Killers should not be able to see the hatch, should not be able to pick up the key and shouldnt get a notification because a survivor got lucky and picked up a key
It's like your purposely trying to tip the favors of a killer who already has enough as is.

This is a genuine dumb idea, thrill of the hunt would finally become relevant; yes but this is still a dumb idea. It would side-track everyone's main game to finding all hex/dull totems which are hard as is. It would be an easy game because you'd KNOW where your totem is and you could just camp it or go down survivors trying to figure out which ones are which. It'd suck from top to bottom.
My way of knowing where hex totem's are is by listening. ALL Hex Totem make a sound whenever they're lit, it's a little low but you can hear it. It sounds like those dumpster fires you'd find in the groaning storehouse. Making hex totem's look like dull totems would make it impossible to get rid of those annoying perks. I would've said ruin, but ruin is easy to counter now; back then it was a bmtch. TOTH, DH, HL. These would be the most annoying perks if your idea went into place.

I don't know how anyone can say that killers need nerfs WHEN SWF IS STILL IN THE GAME
And no one has ever told me what SWF, I assumed it was a perk and I'm still thinking that. What the hell is it.

"Nerf X Killer" - Clearly never played Killer X therefore doesn't know how to counter and / or is bad at said Killer.
Again, not all of us are gifted with the ability to BUY DLC CHARACTERS. Certain characters that people complain about are DLC and we dont have the luxury to get them because of irl/financial issues. You probably have that but we dont.

Freddy does need a nerf honestly, the way he can just teleport to generators and spam dream snares is annoying. It's easy to tunnel, camp and down all survivors with out any perks. What makes matters worse is if it has BBQ, then he can just go to the person/people who's hurt/healing or working on generators. His range of that should be nerfed along with how many dream snares he can place.
Using wake up or do clock virtually doesnt exist if you can tunneled or he puts dream snares around the clock. Wake up's timer doubles every time you use it and doing s generator explosion is absurd considering your attracting him towards you. Your only hope with getting away with that is if that player is downing or chasing someone at the moment.

The fact that i can't give or receive BT from cages, or no one gets DS out of them is trash. Most pyramids go straight for the cage after because there's absolutely no downside or punishment for being a tunneling pos.
Uh, on top of what the others are saying; the cage spawns HALF A STAGE AWAY from P.H [Pyramid head.] So the favor are on our odds. If the killer finds the caged person in time, that's your loss. Not only that but as they said, the cage will literally teleport to keep pyramid head from tunneling or camping. If anything torment is completely balanced and you shouldnt be complaining.
-
I agree, honestly. That's like a killer taking you to the hatch and putting you 2 or 3 meters from it; just outside of the jump in range and then they grab you or stomp on the hatch before you make it. It's really nasty and it sucks.
However, I'll agree with the killer mains on one thing. If the wraith is camping that hatch, it sucks to suck just go to the exit gate and open that.
On the other hand, it's a total dick move just be camping the hatch and last second you close it dashing their Hope's. So I will agree he needs to decloak before doing anything like that otherwise its SERIOUSLY unfair but again. Your fault for not opening the exit gates or completing all generators lmao.

a minute or two of invincibility to do gens in your face or run into a locker at the end of a chase to get a free stun and second/third/fouth life is not an "anti tunneling measure" i shouldnt be able to hook 2 survivors and get DS'ed by the third if you think otherwise i hate to say it but i think entitled survivor main is the only term that fits. "what are you going to do"? scrap DS's timer for deactivation conditions
Unfortunately, I dont have any of those perks or do any of those that are related. I just use sprint burst to buy myself more time to get away and if I'm lucky and the noob/high ranked player doesnt tunnel me to death, then that what happens. On the other hand, if I'm unlucky, I'm gonna try everything to avoid getting camped, tunneled and sacrificed to a devil. DS doesn't need a nerf quit complaining about it and complain about body blocking, complain about actual teamwork and taunting players.
All you entitled killers are the same, you end up running BBQ, NOED, Phobia, CI, PGTW, or some add-on that that you think will work to help you tunnel players to death and force them to DC/RQ. But when they use DS to get away you wanna bzintch, whine, complain, and moan about it and hope it gets nerf. Wake-up call, it's not happening.
-
What the heck does Swf. I get ds and unbreakable is an op combo but even then.
-
What does swf mean? Sorta new but other then that your wrong. It still promotes camping/tunneling, just to a lesser degree.
-
What the heck is pwyf, and the clown doesnt need a nerf lmao. I just got out a match with a tunneling/Camping clown who didnt even get s single kill at all. Since he tunneled, we body blocked, Sabatoged and did everything in our power to win. He even gave up at some point and stopped moving once we had both exit gates opened. Then again, we were purple and red rank going against a near yellow rank but like honestly, the clown is fine.
-
Ngl, this is all apart of natural gameplay. You're gonna have to get used to it cause alot of players do it. Even I spam crouch to taunt the killer when I stun them because it's fun to me. Then again, the MMR was fricked up so you running into rank 1's as a rank 20 isnt anything new to us. Most I can say is mind game them. Trick them into thinking you're going around the pallet and double back. Outplay the players and bam, ez.
-
Or, you could all stop being entitled killer mains and just leave it as is. DS is there to prevent you from tunneling them and straight camping. I know it sucks but then dont tunnel lmao. That's the point of it. Getting DS is already hard and its balanced as is. Have you seen the size of the score box you need to do it right, it's the size of the check box the overcharge perk has. STS [Sucks to suck] Dont tunnel or camp, you wont get DS'd. Not hard to comprehend.
On a killer point of view, DS is annoying but what are you gonna do. It's the ultimate attempt to escape your grasp and as far as I know, you can only use it once. 🤷♂️
-
Okay, so this is all a big no. I'm not exactly sure why you thought that this was a good idea to try and implement because I wont lie, the idea is nice but far too hard. Its already pressuring when the killer has NOED or something that can down you in a hit like rancor. NGL, this *sounds* like what an entitled killer would suggest just to shift the meta again and make literally everyone play as killer making it so its impossible to get into a match or very rare. The idea is fun but not only is it extremely complex but it's also extremely hard on the survivors.
The three hatches are a bad idea in general, when you run to the hatch, it should be an easy in and out especially if the killer is on your tail. Making it so that the survivor has to *Pay attention and listen* to which hatch is correct makes it even more pressuring, forces the player into the downed state, or let's the killer down the survivor to put them on the hook.
IF the hatch doesnt open when your the last survivor, then that's just dumb. It basically suggests the killer camps the hatch, waits for you to complete the task and then closes it on you negating all your work; with the addition of any exposure status perks. The only way I see that the player escapes is that they use a key which would also tie in with the first one.
The exit tiles suggest tunneling and camping, basically all of this suggests they just camp and make it hell to escape. Teamwork doesn't exist here, especially when you dont know where the hell anyone is without bond or some add-on to the key and even then, the killer can simply sit infront of the switches making it impossible to get out from that side. It also sucks because if the Exit tiles are near each other and are on the same side; you'll never be able to escape. Exposure status perks literally excel in this and not to mention exposure abilities that ghostface, Billy, Cannibal, Shape, and Trapper have. [I know I probably missed one].
This idea wouldn't be okay in the slightest while it would be nice, this basically puts killers at the top of the food chain and suggests a campy gameplay for any and all killers. This would change the Meta ASAP which would basically make all if not a good majority of survivor mains switch to killer.

People have already replied to your original post so I’ll just reply to this one instead. I notice that you’re quite new here so your lack of knowledge of the game is nothing to be ashamed of.
First of all, you obviously only play Survivor, as despite you not saying so in the title, all of the nerfs you’ve listed are solely for Killers and you don’t seem to understand them all that much which, in this case is Doctor.
If you ever played Killer before, you’ll know that Static Blast has a 60 second cooldown, so you can’t spam it, nor can you simply say “we had more skill than him,” since you don’t know that for sure considering, again, you don’t play Killer.
I saw what you said previously that playing Killer isn’t worth your time, but it surely is. That, my friend, is a whole HALF of the game that you’re willfully missing out on, and if you wanna make bold statements like you are here, then you should establish your credibility by learning Killers, what they excel at and where they falter. Win some games and lose some. It’s a learning experience. Don’t end up like certain groups of ignorant people who just whine about everything that isn’t in their favor. That isn’t a healthy mindset at all.
Actually, let me go further into depth to explain which killers I played as. The Billy, Trapper and Wraith. I deemed the hag toxic because of ruin and how annoying it could be. The nurse I tried but couldn't get the hang of it, the doctor wasnt a thought to me cause atm I mained Jake park. The huntress was virtually useless to me to begin with. Any other killer wasnt a thought to me either.
I didnt camp and I didnt have NOED because that was also toxic to me. So that was a thing. That was in the past and that was only when I spent like, 30 minutes waiting for a match only to get nothing.

Speaking of which, the flashlight is useless and needs buffing. There are so many ways to avoid it, it's not even funny. Unless the killer is a total idiot, its virtually not possible to score any type of killer blind with the flashlight. It sucks even more when the killer is carrying a survivor because then they know where all the hooks are and they can cheese it by looking up slightly and still finding the red auras the hooks have. Yall need to buff all the flashlights or make it so that it's easier to stun the killer with a flashlight.
They also need to give the toolbox more charges because it was so much better when it had like 100 charged and didnt run out as quickly as the medkit did.
