wait until you guys find out about the Lethal Pursuer buff hihi
-
I disagree, the best defender of 3 gen is Hag by far, even better than Nurse or Blight or Spirit. While those 3 have high mobility, they cannot be at multiple places at once (we are talking the situation if all survivors are still alive) nor they can know which gens are being pressured without perks for that.
Hag can, against even an average Hag winning 3 gen is borderline impossible if she sets up her web well. She can teleport instantly everywhere and without coordination which most non-SWF teams simply do not have she will have everyone injured in seconds, then all she needs is that one hook near 3 gen and it's a gg
-
imagine getting upset over people pressing a button on their keyboard multiple times in a row
-
lmao what is this
not even comp players would apply this as every single comp match I watched everyone tried their best to body block for their teamates if the situation allowed for it
being chased and trying to help your TEAMates (as this is a team game you know) while they are chased either via flashlights, pallet saves, sabo plays and etc are the only fun part of the survivor gameplay
I am sure that most people who plays survivor will rather have a fun match and die than hold m1 hide from the killer and escape while everyone else was chased lol
Sometimes I will play my p3 claudette with urban self care iron will for the lolz but the survivor playstyle you described only happens at low ranks
-

he's basiscally on the level of a pro nurse, but without any of the skill nessasery to master the killer
As a nurse main I disagree, I actually loved to play Blight from time to time and there were times when I was absolutely shat on by more competent survivors, he's absolutely not easy to master at all
-
The most popular survivors - Nea, Feng, Claudette and Meg
-
I am not sure why are people mentioning that you can hear her, it actually does not matter if you are not close to a safe pallet to drop it she will down you regardless because she hears you. That's why IW was the only reliable counterplay because if she does not know where you are you can escape her. Not anymore.
Actually what I would consider a good Spirit (since her power is super easy to use in comparison to Nurse and Blight where you obviously can see if someone knows how to play them or no) is someone who can mind game you at loops using phasing and the only reason why that was even needed to do was because of Iron Will existence, that single perk actually made playing Spirit somewhat challenging because you have to use your game sense and try to outplay the other player.
Now you just hold m2 and follow the scratch marks, if they do not have a pallet they are dead, if they do you break it and phase again until you eventually hit them.
-
Blights power is much harder to use and get value from, you are literally holding m2 as Spirit and thats it

Once you learn Nurse she becomes DBD on easy mode so your statement there was completely false.
not a Spirit main saying this lol, killer who was literally easy mode until recently and will soon become again after only reliable counter against her gets nerfed to the ground
Nurse is never an easy mode because you always have to use your power perfectly, why do people not understand this
-
wait but it looks good? The smaller dash is pathetic obviously but the endurance it gives is actually OP in my opinion, you get hit and get a speed boost, you just have to time it properly which is not even that hard if you are a DH user
-
they can complain while the rest of us are looking forward to the Lethal Pursuer buff that actually pretty much benefits Nurse the most so we can make the poor little survivors suffer even more /sarcasm (honestly Nurse mains why is no one talking about this amazing buff that buffs all the good Nurse perks like I am all ears/floods of rage/bbq etc)
-
My biggest issue with these anti Nurse posters is that people act like logging into as Nurse means automatic win no matter what and that the game plays her for you
Out of the entire roster, she is also the only one that is 100% worthless without her power and dependent on it for everything.
Even the trapper can walk around and catch up to survivors without his traps, everyone else has something else going for them, Pinead's box, teleportation, cages, Bubba's camping, stealth/insta downs
Tombstone Myers can literally hold m2 for 2 minutes then press m1 and have a survivor out of the game forever
I am not saying these things are better than Spencer's Last Breath but the point is that with Nurse you either know how to use your power or you cannot do anything against the survivors, and that makes it fair since the power itself is the most oppressive one in the game.
People just refuse to play Nurse because in most cases, survivors are not even doing anything against her, just running straight line and being super predictable.
I actually had a lot of Nurses recently for some reason and I def managed to escape some of them, even with everyone else alive. When I get downed by a Nurse I actually can literally pinpoint why it happened, she read me right or I just made a mistake and did not hold w or did not double back when I should have, for both of the reasons they deserved their hit.
Sometimes yes there are some bs blinks but it also happens on other killers when they get a hit when they should not.
Spirit and Blight with his bugs and add ons are far more BS than Nurse because their powers are oppressive AND they can chase people without it ( I actually can't wait for people to remember how awful is to play against the spirit with md ring add on without Iron Will now that the perk is getting nerfed to the ground - when the spirit player literally just has to walk around holding m2)
But we all know what the biggest issue is - people think they are good at survivor with DH slapped on and bunch of good loops against m1 killers and then when a Nurse main bags their team in 2 minutes because they think they are running a trapper and not using anti-Nurse tactics they come and complain here
-
Absolutely, Yun-Jin Lee is by faaar the most interesting survivor lore vise because not only she has personal connection with the killer, but because she did not expose him so her career would not go down the drain as well, it was such a breath of fresh air, I would love for us to have similar stories to that where the survivor has some connection to the killer but not as a victim only but some sort of involvement that would make them morally ambiguous
-
you are not entitled to a kill, if survivors are doing a good job at body blocking (legitimate strategy) they should be out

You don't understand the issue here.
The majority of the playerbase are casuals most players started playing this game beceause of licenses being able to go against an iconic character like Pyramid Head or playing the dangerous Michael Myers is what makes this game unique.
A "competitive" killer like Nurse should not be in the game she's the only killer who just can do everything with 0 downsides if you're good with her most killers have flaws/weaknesses,what are the weaknesses of a veteran Nurse like Alf in public matches ?
Lerys and RPD that's all if you're good at Nurse you will stomp in every pubs games it's a fact SoloQ and even decent SWFs will lose against a decent nurse who is patient with her blinks and doesn't panic.
Now you were talking about a Comp DBD team you know that each of these guys have like 6-7k hours each and they also play Nurse they're the only team who have a chance of winning against a good Nurse,do you find this normal/acceptable ?
Nurse is broken in public matches,in comp matches where every players has 8k hours+ there might be a chance of winning against her, otherwise the killer is broken and needs to be nerfed.
I played against KnightLight's Nurse in public matches several times and he always stomped my SoloQ team it was just a miserable experience even Blight can't do this, having one sided games like this is just unhealthy for the game.
I hope you understand why Nurse is bad for the DbD playerbase.
But here is the issue in your entire argument - those people are above and beyond average Nurse player, comp player will always stomp pubs, I mean it happens in other games too.
I have 2.5k hours in the game and Nurse is by far the killer I have the most hours on I do not win or 4k every single match, there are people who know how to run me and I can lose sometimes, I rarely have 0k but there are survivors who can counter me, sometimes I get bad teams that die at 4-5 gens sometimes I lose all the gens and someone escapes.
I also have matches against Nurses where she stomps us but sometimes I have 2-3e against someone I would consider good at Nurse because Survivors I played with were also good.
Just like every killer Nurse cannot pressure all gens at once nor she can pressure the entire team at once if everyone just splits up. You just have to play extra I guess 'try hard' as a Survivor against her, and that's fine, because she is the best killer in the game.

Ok? But it's not happening that way. Survivors are gen rushing thats the point. It's been a problem in and out side the event. There are not playing well they are gen rushing and leaving. Then what the point that of having a killer at all.. The games are not long enough. It's a waste of time. I'm not shaming them im stating facts
last time I checked the killer is supossed to stop them in doing that, it's literally the main objective to do the gens and leave, if you are not able to keep the pressure on them to stop them in doing that super fast something must be wrong but not with the survivors for sure
-
Why are you shaming the survivors for playing well?
if you were killing them too quickly and them saying killing is getting out of control I can't enjoy the event killer is too good!!11 would you feel the same way?
-
Not to be rude but if you are bothered by this and you actually lose to a team that purposely brings an item so they can follow you around....you kinda have to play better?
Last time this happened to me as a Nurse (Nurse can be burnt as Warith as well) I ended the match at 4 gens
-
I don't think this would work. Being able to blink and be faster than survivors is even worse, because then you can catch up to them and ignore pallets and windows and always land a blink and you can walk around the map. Her chase power would be insane.
All these people asking for Nurse reworks seem to forget that without your power you are 100% useless. Her being slower than survivors is perfect balance because without your blinks you can't do literally anything and she is the only killer in the entire roster that depends on her power in this way.
The only issue this community has with Nurse is that bunch of people think they are good at survivor because they can loop survivor sided maps and use dead hard and then get wiped in 2 minutes against a good Nurse because they never learned to play against the killer properly.
I have seen a bunch of videos of good survivors running good Nurses, and those are extremely fun chases because it's all about actual skill and mind games.
I am Nurse main and I do not win 100% of my matches nor is every match walk in the park. I do need add ons and good perks against good teams.
If we are not talking busted double range her base-kit is absolutely fine and not that hard to counter and anyone who says otherwise is just bad sorry lol
-
I am sorry but that build is super fun. And you can crouch to get your item

Game would be better without nurse everything has to be balanced around her. If some perk is made too strong she will became op for example stratruck. She has best power in the game and she does not have to do anything to earn it. Oni has second best but he is very limited on how he can use it and has to earn it. If nurse is fine in game like this I quess oni should start with his power and would still be weaker than nurse. But it at least would make him viable.
lol please, you have to.... you know... land your blinks? If you can't you are literally powerless and cannot do anythng
Last time I checked Oni can play like m1 killer and chase survivors normally, then camp the hook and activate his power to insta down the unhooker if the player behind him is not good at using the power or he can insta down the entire team if they are good which the only time Nurse can do is if she has a specific perk. Nurse has to earn her downs by playing perfectly, you either land your blink or don't, with oni even if you do not insta down the survior you can still chase them and use the speed boost to get where you need to go and then down them with m1
This entire notion that Nurse gets everything on the platter while everyone else struggles with pallets and map is so silly since it seems that everyone forgets that
- out of 28 killers she is the only one slower than survivors
- out of 28 killers she is the only one that 100% depends on her power for everything - if you do not know how to blink you cannot do anything with her literally except float around lookiing like a sad lady
-
Not reallyly, she is the only one that actually kills in this game. Everyone else just is there to prolong the gens from not being done in a minute or 2 but 5 instead
-
@brokedownpalace said:
Yeah that's the result of a character designed to break the rules of its own game.
okay and? Even if we pretend that basekit Nurse cannot be countered since she plays her own game and that you automatically win every single match when you play with her and it certainly does not require for you to actually hit your blinks and deal with Dead Hard, COH and all the survivor meta she is still one killer out of 28 when most of the others realistically cannot ever win if they get a large map and optimal team which is far more BS than being able to teleport trough walls
This narrative that Nurse is broken while the entire game is is so tiring, when Devs also designed maps like eyre of the crows and rpd in the same game that you have killers like Trapper, Sadako and etc.
She and I guess Blight to an extent are the only killers that can deal with good teams while also playing well and not making mistakes because you are breaking the rules of the game that are BS to begin with
-
I am sorry but what's wrong with brown medkit? One survivor health state can be a difference between win and a loss
Chests are waste of time if the killer is good and is ending chases quickly but other than that if you have the time to open them, go for it
-
No its not but when you log into a dbd match as a survivor you have to accept that each killer will have a different strat that may not be the most pleasant thing to deal with. There are perks to deal with slugging but you just were not lucky enough to have them assume
in the end if they were god nurse they wanted the slug build but they probably would have won regardless
-
@MoraFlex said:
They should never do that. In fact i think if you're good with nurse you deserve to play her. Everytime i play Nurse it's because i'm tired of those bad manners that survivors have. Something just snaps. And i don't think i'm alone with this mindset.
this
can people STOP asking for Nurse nerf when everyone else is super weak.
Why are you not asking for buffs for trapper, ghostface, pig, trickster, cenobite, wraith etc etc but one killer that actually can 4k these days in dead hard/coh/huge maps meta needs to be nerfed?
Nurse is literally an answer to the huge imbalance that exist towards most of the roaster who simply cannot deal with the stuff survivors have if survivors know how to play optimally. Good tiles chained together and a huge maps are the survivor's version of ''can go trough walls''
So if a player is good with Nurse, survivors should not be able to deal with them that easily.
Blight and Nurse are like the only killers who can compete against good survivors, while the rest cannot
So if someone good wants to play killer and win against a good team they have 2 options, while a good coordinated team can pretty much lose against 2 killers out of 25+ and maybe have 3e/2e against a camping bubba, that's it. How is that even close to being fair?
And if you are bad with Nurse you will lose, if you are bad as a survivor you will lose against pretty much everyone
-
I used it once when me and my friends were using perk randomizer and it was one of my favourite matches of all time against blight on midwitch, we managed to 4e but it was super close, we were playing super well since we had the shittiest of perks.
Other than that since chill is just superior
-
Do bones
on a serious note there are literally perks to counter it so maybe try them?

It's a bad map for her too lol they can break line of sight easily and you will blink downstairs by mistake
I personally love it, most of my 'easy' matches like 4k at 4-5 gens were at that map as Nurse xD

play Nurse bestieee

I mean the genrushing complaint is stupid but gen speeds are a problem if the killer spawns super far and doesnt have Corrupt. Its a guaranteed 2 gen lost by the time you get into chase.
I agree but do not blame other players, blame Bhvr
I mean we all log into this game probably every day and deal with the unbalanced bs on both ends, either accept it or complain to the devs, don't be bitter against the players. Same goes for camping and tunneling, they are effective strats for someone who wants to win as fast as possible but do not blame them, blame the game for allowing it to happen in the first place
-
I have 2 takes on this
- As a killer I would never do this because it's so boring and I want to chase people even at the cost of losing, I honestly do not care about winning that much to spend the game looking at a survivor on hook
- As a survivor I do not mind it if the killer does it, I do mind it if my team then proceeds to do nothing instead of split up on gens and then try to save at the last moment once we have 2-3 gens done, the game can be saved and even with bt / /ds the camped person can get out with some fun plays unless there's a mori in play, but not punishing the killer for the free gen time seems like such an idiotic thing yet it happens all the time, even when there's Kindred on someone
-
@Viskod said:
Stop using Corrupt Intervention and use Lethal Pursuer instead. Corrupt Intervention is hilariously overrated.
I actually use both together as Nurse and it's super fun, quick first down and then it snowballs from there with all gens still untouched
-
I do not want to meme around in either case
4king fast or ''genrushing'' (just made a thread calling this the dumbest complaint in the game) happens when one side is much better at the game than another
Close dbd matches are the best, and it simply depends on both sides, meaning everyone has to try to constantly outplay the other side, Killer knowing who to chase and which gens to patrol, survivors knowing where to be at what time, when to unhook, when not, which gens to pressure and etc and then since both sides have the same knowledge it will be a close call, I mean sure you can call this mindset sweaty but all my fondest dbd memories is when I was either playing against a good team and I was playing well as well or when I had an amazing team against a great killer and it mostly ends up in 2k-3k but it was close and tense, like a true slasher movie which is what this game is supposed to be like
-
Blight is only OP because good Blight players are exploiting his bugs and his powerful add ons, that's it
His base kit is absolutely fine and can be countered by pallets, walls, and stuff like that
If he was completely dependent on his power like Nurse is he would be much weaker because unlike Nurse he cannot go through walls
-
It's fun as a survivor for me too, the aesthetic is so nice and there are some fun loops
However, going against Ghostie who can hide in bushes as your average Claudette and stalk you from there or Trapper is scary ngl
-
because he is the noob stomper, the most regular killer you will see at the lowest level where no one knows what they are doing and his kill rate was probably inflated due to these stats, I mean wraith + noed is like a meme combo at this point, similar to Bubba and basement.
New survivors barely know how to use a pallet properly and if they attempted to loop his lunge would have gotten to them anyway.

It needs to be an exhaustion perk. You shouldnt even have DH and Ds on the same survivor at once. Lets say its end game. The team will intentionally bodyblock, BT and use DS to avoid all issues. This has nothing to do with tunneling. More over, tunneling and camping is a by-product direct response to how survivors play. All Killer meta builds are literally in response to Survivor Meta builds. Survivor mains need to cope on the reality that the problem resides in completely the survivor side and would only be fixed if survivor was nerfed. Killers would not play the way that SWFs complain about if they stopped the bullcrap they do. Period.
of course they would, it's extremely naive to think killers would not camp / tunnel even more if the survivors were nerfed
-
Me too, and I know it sucks to miss a blink because of one BUTTON but you can just easily bait it and then down them in the next blink, DH will save you against a Nurse once but it cannot extend a chase to the level that it can against other people
-
If someone is amazing at the best killer in the game they should be able to kill the entire team at 5 gens if they are playing against someone with 40 hours on the survivor side
Do not blame Nurse for the horrible matchmaking system
-
Yes, she is countered by one perk, and that's pretty much the only counter to her power. You can counter Blight by mindgaming him and make him rush to the wrong side, you cannot do that to Spirit unless you have Iron Will
She can body a team pretty easily if they are all not running IW, all meta perks work great on her just as on Blight, she is weaker but please do not compare her to Blight where people can actually counter him without a perk.
Play against a good spirit without Iron Will and then tell me she is neglected
She was maybe nerfed but she is still easily far above every else except Nurse and Blight
-
My take on the entire Nurse debate as a Nurse main is that she is the only killer where you have to use your power perfectly to win. And that is what makes her more than fair
Blight's power is probably hardest to master but in the end, his speed is 115 and he's an old man with a stick and can just loop as a normal m1 killer and down people without using all the rushes since survivors need to know how to loop or just pre-drop pallets and can last long enough for the team to smash the gens.
There are matches where I get bodied and in most cases it's because the survivors were smart enough to capitalize on the mistakes I made, which in most cases are missed blinks or wrong reads
Making a mistake as Nurse without the range add ons feels super punishing, people these days know how to hold w and run to the COH range to heal.
Also, people can play sneaky and just hide and walking around as Nurse searching for them feels like torture sometimes.
When you do not miss your blinks and you are just downing people one after the other feels super awful for survivors but doing that means you have to blink perfectly every single time to pressure them.
Also let's not forget that the biggest counter to Nurse is the most popular perk in the game.
And if someone who is God at Nurse plays the match perfectly and kills the team at 5 gens...well they deserve it.
Playing perfectly as Nurse is a guaranteed 4k, but in the end, she is 1 killer in the game that has that pay off, maybe Blight but I do think that even average teams can run God-tier Blight long enough to finish the gens if they just split up.
Also this is a party asymmetrical game, people arguing over ''balance'' is kind laughable at this point
-
@Krazzik said:
It's not upto players to 'discourage' Bubbas from facecamping, it's upto BHVR to finally fix things so a Bubba can't completely negate unhooking by simply standing still next to a hook.
thank you.
If the down, hook and camp happen at the beginning of the match everyone should just leave. 3 players holding m1 while the other 2 are doing nothing is literally pointless, why would anyone waste their time.
It's not about winning, it's about having fun and playing the game normally.
I am sure most of the players would prefer a back and forth match where every second matters and the tide can turn in anyone's favor at any moment than trying to win against a camping Bubba.
Last night me and my friends facing one, he started camping the 2nd hook while we were at 3 gens. We were ''smart enough'' to finish the other 3 and just leave and even though it was 3e the match was just boring for me outside the first chase I had, and I would have preferred for all of us to die if it meant everyone was chased
-
No, yesterday was one of the best dbd days for me
there were couple matches where we all died but we all had 20k points and as killer I had 4k as legion and ghostie but also got ######### on as Legion on shelter woods lmao and ormond with 1k only but even when I lost I got 25k+ bp and so did the survivors, which to me were fun matches.
sometimes the game is in your favour no matter the side and sometimes it is not.
I am never constatly losing but I am rarely constatly winning as well unless I am playing 4 man swf or double range Nurse (2 most op things in the game) which in the end seems ok to me, even though as killer it does feel like crap sometimes if you only care about winning and solo queue can be nightmare inducing
-
Why is it so important to spread the message officially across the internet that you are gay, trans whatever? If you are really considering yourself and want to live like this then you should do it for yourself not to tell it everyone around you trying to catch their attention somehow?
Because we lgbt people grow up often without the proper support system from family and ''friends'', are taught from early age that what we are is wrong, ''unnatural'', that we will go to hell, die of aids, not worthy of love and all the other lovely stuff, with that comes the struggle of actually believing all of that and then learning to love yourself again once you start to mature and live your best authentic self, it's a constant fight so OF COURSE, we are going to scream on top of our lungs that we are gay, trans, bi, whatever and that we are happy with who we are and that we accepted ourselves.
I do understand that as a straight/cis person you cannot understand this, but trust me if the world did not make a big deal out of it in the first place we would not either.
-
having a fun match that to me is a win, I do not play comp / for money so when I stress about escaping / 4k I mostly do not get it and end up having a horrible time
on a technicality, I am Nurse main so if it's not a 3k/hatch / 4k I would consider that a loss.
on survivor end, 1k/3e/ 4e is a win for the team, 2e/2k draw and everything above a loss
-
desperate
after I kill the third survivor, I honestly could not care less if the person escapes through a hatch or opens the gate before I get there, it's fine if I 4k but I mostly try to give hatch anyway and to me 1 person escaping fits the theme of the ''final girl'', ''last survivor'' and similar vibes this game has
-
As a Nurse main I hate to face her, mostly because I play solo and if she is good one weak link Is enough for her to curb stomp a team
I am happy to take chase and try some jukes I assume would work on me but in the end it's mostly gg
-
Dead Hard can mess up with your blink but against a decent Nurse it won't increase your chase by that much, if she is on top of you already they will just get you with the next blink
